1Global correlation for strontium isotope curve in the Late Cretaceous of Tibet and dating marine sediments显示文摘87Sr/86Sr ratios of marine carbonate samples collected from a sedimentary section of the Late Cretaceous in the south of Tibet were measured. Based on the absence of cathodoluminescence and a very low Mn/Sr ratio (average 0.06) of the samples, it is thought that they contain information on the original seawater strontium isotope composition. The strontium isotope evolution curve of the Late Cretaceous in Tibet we established here, is consistent with other coeval curves from Europe, North America and Antarctica, supports the notion that the strontium isotope composition of seawater is governed by global events, which provides a new approach for the inter-continental and inter-basinal correlations of Late Cretaceous in the area and is a complementarity for biostratigraphy. In addition, we attempt to determine the age of the boundaries for Campanian/Santonian and Maastrichtian/Campanian by 87Sr/86Sr ratios for Gamba section in southern Tibet. 2Degree of Brine Evaporation and Origin of the Mengyejing Potash Deposit:Evidence from Fluid Inclusions in Halite显示文摘The Mengyejing potash deposit is located in the southern port of the Simao Basin, Yunnan Province, and is hosted in mid-Cretaceous strata. The chemical compositions of fluid inclusions in halite crystals, collected from the level-610 adit in the deposit, were analysed by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICP-MS). The results show that the brine is of the Na-K-Mg-Ca-Cl type and has K concentrations that are distinctly higher than those of Mg and Ca, unlike normal brines associated with Cretaceous halite. The high K concentrations indicate that the degree of evaporation of the ancient Mengyejing saline lake was very high, reaching the sylvite deposition stage but rarely reaching the carnallite deposition stage. The trajectory of the H and O isotopic compositions of the brines in the halite-hosted fluid inclusions corresponds to intense evaporation, indicating that the net evaporation exceeded the net inflow of brines. These brine compositions in halite-hosted fluid inclusions were likely formed by the dissolution of previously deposited K-bearing minerals by fresh continental and/or seawater, forming a type of modified seawater, with deep hydrothermal fluids potentially supplying additional potassium. 3Generative Adversarial Network-Based Electromagnetic Signal Classification: A Semi- Supervised Learning Framework显示文摘Generative adversarial network(GAN)has achieved great success in many fields such as computer vision,speech processing,and natural language processing,because of its powerful capabilities for generating realistic samples.In this paper,we introduce GAN into the field of electromagnetic signal classification(ESC).ESC plays an important role in both military and civilian domains.However,in many specific scenarios,we can’t obtain enough labeled data,which cause failure of deep learning methods because they are easy to fall into over-fitting.Fortunately,semi-supervised learning(SSL)can leverage the large amount of unlabeled data to enhance the classification performance of classifiers,especially in scenarios with limited amount of labeled data.We present an SSL framework by incorporating GAN,which can directly process the raw in-phase and quadrature(IQ)signal data.According to the characteristics of the electromagnetic signal,we propose a weighted loss function,leading to an effective classifier to realize the end-to-end classification of the electromagnetic signal.We validate the proposed method on both public RML2016.04c dataset and real-world Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System(ACARS)signal dataset.Extensive experimental results show that the proposed framework obtains a significant increase in classification accuracy compared with the state-of-the-art studies.Huaji Zhou Licheng Jiao Shilian Zheng Lifeng Yang Weiguo Shen Xiaoniu Yang 2020China Communications2020,17,10:8

6Influences of air CO2 on hydrochemistry of drip water and implications for paleoclimate study in a stream-developed cave, SW China显示文摘Cave air CO_2 is a vital part of the cave environment. Most studies about cave air CO_2 variations are performed in caves with no streams; there are few studies to date regarding the relationship of cave air CO_2 variations and drip water hydrochemistry in underground stream–developed caves. To study the relationship of underground stream, drip water, and cave air CO_2, monthly and daily monitoring of air CO_2 and of underground stream and drip water was performed in Xueyu Cave from 2012 to 2013.The results revealed that there was marked seasonal variation of air CO_2 and stream hydrochemistry in the cave. Daily variations of cave air CO_2, and of stream and drip water hydrochemistry, were notable during continuous monitoring.A dilution effect was observed by analyzing hydrochemical variations in underground stream and drip water after rainfall. High cave air CO_2 along with low p H and low δ^(13)C DIC in stream and drip water indicated that air CO_2 was one of the dominant factors controlling stream and drip water hydrochemistry on a daily scale. On a seasonal scale, stream flows may promote increased cave air CO_2 in summer; in turn, the higher cave air CO_2 could inhibit degassing of drip water and make calcite δ^(13)C more negative. Variation of calcite δ^(13)C(precipitated from drip water) was in reverse of monthly temperature, soil CO_2, and cave air CO_2. Therefore,calcite δ^(13)C in Xueyu Cave could be used to determine monthly changes outside the cave. 8The Late Cretaceous source-to-sink system at the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau:Insights from the provenance of the Lanping Basin显示文摘The surface uplift of the Tibetan Plateau(TP)and its geomorphology evolution has triggered aridification of Asia's interior and drainage development at the eastern margin of the plateau.However,how the pre-Cenozoic early growth histories of the TP impact the drainage system and climate is poorly constrained.The Late Mesozoic Lacustrine evaporite-bearing basins on the eastern margin of the TP record significant information on the uplift of the source terranes,source-to-sink system development and climate change.In this study,we presented detrital zircon U-Pb ages from the Upper Cretaceous Yunlong Formation in the Lanping Basin,as well as Hf isotopic,petrographic,direct statistical,and multidimensional scaling analyses,and use them to characterize the provenance and reconstruct the drainage system.All of the samples have five major age peaks at 200-290 Ma,400-490 Ma,750-1000 Ma,1750-1950 Ma,and 2400-2600 Ma with mostly negativeε_(Hf)(t)values(81%).We infer the sediments are primarily derived from recycled sediments of the Songpan-Garze terrane,and partly from the Sichuan Basin and the Southern Qiangtang terrane,as well as the exposed magmatic rocks of the Yidun Arc and SongpanGarze terrane.The provenance features of the contemporaneous sediments from the Sichuan,Xichang,Chuxiong,and Simao basins indicate a complex hierarchical drainage pattern on the eastern margin of the TP during the Late Cretaceous.The hierarchical drainage system exhibits a complete gradational cycle of lake-basin types from overfilled freshwater Sichuan Basin through balanced fill saline Xichang Basin and underfilled hypersaline Chuxiong,Lanping,Simao,and Khorat Plateau basins from proximal to distal.The early growth of the TP primarily controlled the drainage and lake-basin evolution by not only causing the uplift and exhumation of the source areas and providing large amounts of clastic material to the proximal sub-drainage areas but also intensifying the aridity and deposition of evaporites.Licheng Wang Lijian Shen Chenglin Liu Ke Chen Lin Ding Chengshan Wang 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,3:2

10Few-shot electromagnetic signal classification:A data union augmentation method显示文摘Deep learning has been fully verified and accepted in the field of electromagnetic signal classification. However, in many specific scenarios, such as radio resource management for aircraft communications, labeled data are difficult to obtain, which makes the best deep learning methods at present seem almost powerless, because these methods need a large amount of labeled data for training. When the training dataset is small, it is highly possible to fall into overfitting, which causes performance degradation of the deep neural network. For few-shot electromagnetic signal classification, data augmentation is one of the most intuitive countermeasures. In this work, a generative adversarial network based on the data augmentation method is proposed to achieve better classification performance for electromagnetic signals. Based on the similarity principle, a screening mechanism is established to obtain high-quality generated signals. Then, a data union augmentation algorithm is designed by introducing spatiotemporally flipped shapes of the signal. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed data augmentation algorithm, experiments are conducted on the RADIOML 2016.04C dataset and real-world ACARS dataset. 18Stabilization of high-voltage layered oxide cathode by utilizing residual lithium to form NASICON-type nanoscale functional coating显示文摘High-voltage medium-nickel low-cobalt lithium layered oxide cathode materials are becoming a popular development route for high-energy lithium-ion batteries due to their relatively high capacity,low cost,and improved safety.Unfortunately,capacity fading derived from surface lithium residue,electrode-electrolyte interfacial side reactions,and bulk structure degradation severely limits large-scale commercial utilization.In this work,an ultrathin and uniform NASICON-type Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(LVP)nanoscale functional coating is formed in situ by utilizing residual lithium to enhance the lithium storage performance of LiNi_(0.6)Co0.05Mn_(0.35)O_(2)(NCM)cathode.The GITT and ex-situ EIS and XPS demonstrate exceptional Li+diffusion and conductivity and attenuated interfacial side reactions,improving the electrode-electrolyte interface stability.The variable temperature in-situ XRD demonstrates delayed phase transition temperature to improve thermal stability.The battery in-situ XRD displays the singlephase H1-H2 reaction and weakened harmful H3 phase transition,minimizing the bulk mechanical degradation.These improvements are attributed to the removal of surface residual lithium and the formation of NASICON-type Li_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)functional coatings with stable structure and high ionic and electronic conductivity.Consequently,the obtained NCM@LVP delivers a higher capacity retention rate(97.1%vs.79.6%)after 150 cycles and a superior rate capacity(87 mAh·g^(-1)vs.58 mAh·g^(-1))at a 5 C current density than the pristine NCM under a high cut-off voltage of 4.5 V.This work suggests a clever way to utilize residual lithium to form functional coatings in situ to improve the lithium storage performance of high-voltage medium-nickel low-cobalt cathode materials.Yabin Shen Yingqiang Wu Dongyu Zhang Yao Liang Dongming Yin Limin Wang Licheng Wang Jingchao Cao Yong Cheng 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1

20Interface engineering of MXene-based heterostructures for lithiumsulfur batteries显示文摘High energy density and low cost make lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries as one of the next generation's promising energy storage systems.However,the following problems need to be solved before commercialization:(i)the shuttling effect and sluggish redox kinetics of lithium polysulfides in sulfur cathode;(ii)the formation of lithium dendrites and the crack of solid electrolyte interphase;(iii)the large volume changes during charge and discharge processes.MXenes,as newly emerging two-dimensional transition metal carbides/nitrides/carbonitrides,have attracted widespread attention due to their abundant active surface terminals,adjustable vacancies,and high electrical conductivity.Designing MXene-based heterogeneous structures is expected to solve the stacking problem induced by hydrogen bonds or Van der Waals force and to provide other charming physiochemical properties.Herein,we generalize the design principles of MXene-based heterostructures and their functions,i.e.,adsorption and catalysis in advanced conversion-based Li-S batteries.Firstly,the physiochemical properties of MXene and MXene-based heterostructures are briefly introduced.Secondly,the catalytic functions of MXene-based heterostructures with the compositional constituents including carbon materials,metal compounds,organic frameworks,polymers,single atoms and special high-entropy MXenes are comprehensively summarized in sulfur cathodes and lithium anodes.Finally,the challenges of MXene-based heterostructure in current Li-S batteries are pointed out and we also provide some enlightenments for future developments in high-energy-density Li-S batteries.Siyu Wu Xiang Li Yongzheng Zhang Qinghua Guan Jian Wang Chunyin Shen Hongzhen Lin Jitong Wang Yanli Wang Liang Zhan Licheng Ling 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
