| 3 | Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity of Nanoparticle-Aggregated Ag–AgX(X=Cl, Br)@TiO_2 Microspheres Under Visible Light显示文摘Ag–AgX(X = Cl, Br)@TiO_2 nanoparticle-aggregated spheres with different mass ratio of R = TiO2/Ag(X) from 35:1 to 5:1 were synthesized by a facile sol–gel technique with post-photoreduction. The photocatalytic activities of both Ag–Ag Cl@TiO_2 and Ag–Ag Br@TiO_2 under visible light are effectively improved by ~3 times relative to TiO_2 NPAS under the simulated sunlight for the decomposition of methyl orange(MO). Ag–AgBr@TiO_2 showed 30% improvement and less stable in photocatalytic activity than that of AgCl@TiO_2. The role of Ag and Ag X nanoparticles on the surface of Ag–Ag X(X = Cl,Br)@TiO_2 was discussed. Ag on these samples not onlycan efficiently harvest visible light especially for Ag Cl, but also efficiently separate excited electrons and holes via the fast electron transfer from Ag X(X = Cl, Br) to metal Ag nanoparticles and then to TiO_2-aggregated spheres on the surface of heterostructure. | 5 | Triple Medium Physical Model of Post Fracturing High-Rank Coal Reservoir in Southern Qinshui Basin显示文摘In this paper, influences on the reservoir permeability, the reservoir architecture and the fluid flow pattern caused by hydraulic fracturing are analyzed. Based on the structure and production fluid flow model of post fracturing high-rank coal reservoir, Warren-Root Model is improved. A new physical model that is more suitable for post fracturing high-rank coal reservoir is established. The results show that the width, the flow conductivity and the permeability of hydraulic fractures are much larger than natural fractures in coal bed reservoir. Hydraulic fracture changes the flow pattern of gas and flow channel to wellbore, thus should be treated as an independent medium. Warrant-Root Model has some limitations and can't give a comprehensive interpretation of seepage mechanism in post fracturing high-rank coal reservoir. Modified Warrant-Root Model simplifies coal bed reservoir to an ideal system with hydraulic fracture, orthogonal macroscopic fracture and cuboid matrix. Hydraulic fracture is double wing, vertical and symmetric to wellbore. Coal bed reservoir is divided into cuboids by hydraulic fracture and further by macroscopic fractures. Flow behaviors in coal bed reservoir are simplified to three step flows of gas and two step flows of water. The swap mode of methane between coal matrix and macroscopic fractures is pseudo steady fluid channeling. The flow behaviors of methane to wellbore no longer follow Darcy's Law and are mainly affected by inertia force. The flow pattern of water follows Darcy's Law. | 7 | Tumor shrinkage by cyclopamine tartrate through inhibiting hedgehog signaling显示文摘The link of hedgehog (Hh) signaling activation to human cancer and synthesis of a variety of Hh signaling inhibitors raise great expectation that inhibiting Hh signaling may be effective in human cancer treatment. Cyclopamine (Cyc), an alkaloid from the Veratrum plant, is a specific natural product inhibitor of the Hh pathway that acts by targeting smoothened (SMO) protein. However, its poor solubility, acid sensitivity, and weak potency relative to other Hh antagonists prevent the clinical development of Cyc as a therapeutic agent. Here, we report properties of cyclopamine tartrate salt (CycT) and its activities in Hh signaling-mediated cancer in vitro and in vivo. Unlike Cyc, CycT is water soluble (5-10 mg/mL). The median lethal dose (LD50) of CycT was 62.5 mg/kg body weight compared to 43.5 mg/kg for Cyc, and the plasma half-life (T1/2) of CycT was not significantly different from that of Cyc. We showed that CycT had a higher inhibitory activity for Hh signaling-dependent motor neuron differentiation than did Cyc (IC50 = 50 nmol/L for CycT vs. 300 nmol/L for Cyc). We also tested the antitumor effectiveness of these Hh inhibitors using two mouse models of basal cell carcinomas (K14cre:Ptch1neo/neo and K14cre:SmoM2YFP). After topical application of CycT or Cyc daily for 21 days, we found that all CycT-treated mice had tumor shrinkage and decreased expression of Hh target genes. | 10 | Relationship of proprioception,cutaneous sensitivity,and muscle strength with the balance control among older adults显示文摘Background:Balance impairment is one of the strongest risk factors for falls.Proprioception,cutaneous sensitivity,and muscle strength are 3 important contributors to balance control in older adults.The relationship that dynamic and static balance control has to proprioception,cutaneous sensitivity,and muscle strength is still unclear.This study was performed to investigate the relationship these contributors have to dynamic and static balance control.Methods:A total of 164 older adults(female=89,left dominant=15,age:73.5±7.8 years,height:161.6±7.1 cm,weight:63.7±8.9 kg,mean±SD)participated in this study.It tested the proprioception of their knee flexion/extension and ankle dorsi/plantarflexion,along with cutaneous sensitivity at the great toe,first and fifth metatarsals,arch,and heel,and the muscle strength of their ankle dorsi/plantarflexion and hip abduction.The Berg Balance Scale(BBS)and the root mean square(RMS)of the center of pressure(CoP)were collected as indications of dynamic and static balance control.A partial correlation was used to determine the relationship between the measured outcomes variables(BBS and CoPRMS)and the proprioception,cutaneous sensitivity,and muscle strength variables.Results:Proprioception of ankle plantarflexion(r=-0.306,p=0.002)and dorsiflexion(r=-0.217,p=0.030),and muscle strength of ankle plantarflexion(r=0.275,p=0.004),dorsiflexion(r=0.369,p<0.001),and hip abduction(r=0.342,p<0.001)were weakly to moderately correlated with BBS.Proprioception of ankle dorsiflexion(r=0.218,p=0.020)and cutaneous sensitivity at the great toe(r=0.231,p=0.041)and arch(r=0.285,p=0.002)were weakly correlated with CoP-RMS in the anteroposterior direction.Proprioception of ankle dorsiflexion(r=0.220,p=0.035),knee flexion(r=0.308,p=0.001)and extension(r=0.193,p=0.040),and cutaneous sensitivity at the arch(r=0.206,p=0.028)were weakly to moderately correlated with CoP-RMS in the mediolateral direction.Conclusion:There is a weak-to-moderate relationship between proprioception and dynamic and static balance control,a weak relationship between cutaneous sensitivity and static balance control,and a weak-to-moderate relationship between muscle strength and dynamic balance control. | Qipeng Song Xinyan Zhang Min Mao Wei Sun Cui Zhang Yan Chen Li Li | 2021 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2021,10,5: | 2 |
| 11 | Risk factors of recurrent acute pancreatitis after conservative treatment in pediatric population: a single-center study显示文摘Background Although complete resolution and recovery occurs in most children with an initial attack of acute pancreatitis(AP),a subset of children may progress to recurrent AP(RAP).RAP has serious effects to the individual and the socioeconomic burden.The aim of this project was to identify the independent risk factors for pediatric RAP so as to provide evidence for its prevention,early diagnosis and treatment.Methods A retrospective cohort study of children discharged from Tianjin Children’s Hospital from June 2017 to January 2020 was performed.Demographic and clinical variables,treatment strategies,clinical course and outcomes were collected.Independent risk factors of RAP were identified using the logistic regression model.Results Of the total 96 enrolled children,30(31.3%)developed RAP during the follow-up period.The majority(27/30,90%)of the children with AP developed RAP within 6 months of their first AP attack.The presence of systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)[odds ratio(OR)=6.652,95%confidence interval(CI)1.989 to 22.247],fasting time(OR=1.267,95%CI 1.104 to 1.583),whether meet all three AP diagnostic criteria(OR=7.438,95%CI 1.346 to 41.103)and abnormal amylase/lipase value on the seventh day of hospitalization(OR=3.601,95%CI 0.972 to 13.342)were independent risk factors of RAP in children.Conclusions Most children who developed RAP had progressed within 6 months after their first episode of AP.RAP was more common in children who met all three AP diagnostic criteria at initial attack and in children with SIRS,long fasting time and abnormal amylase/lipase value on the seventh day of hospitalization. | Qipeng Zheng Xueqiang Yan Liang Ge Shujian Zhang Yan Sun Jinfu Jia Shengqiao Zhao Xiaodan Xu Ran Dou Qingyun Gou Jinfeng Zhao Jianghua Zhan | 2021 | World Journal of Pediatric Surgery2021,4,1: | 1 |

It presents an inmemory-computing approach for multiplier design based on Multilevel-cell(MLC) of Resistive random access memories(RRAMs). The paper proposes a Look-up-table(LUT) operations to optimize the speed, area and power of the multiplier circuits. The proposed MLC function of RRAM revealed that RRAM could have a multilevel stable resistance by adjusting the operating voltage. | 16 | Cosensitization process effect of D-A-π-A featured dyes on photovoltaic performances显示文摘Cosensitization based on two or multiple dyes as 'dye cocktails' can hit the target on compensating and broadening light-harvesting region.Two indoline D-A-π-A motif sensitizers(WS-2 and WS-39) that possess similar light response area but distinctly reversed feature in photovoltaic performance are selected as the specific cosensitization couple. That is, WS-2 shows quite high photocurrent but low photovoltage, and WS-39 gives relatively low photocurrent but quite high photo voltage. Due to the obvious 'barrel effect',both dyes show medium PCE around8.50%. In contrast with the previous cosensitization strategy mostly focused on the compensation of light response region, herein we perform different cosensitization sequence, for taking insight into the balance of photocurrent and photo voltage, and achieving the synergistic improvement in power conversion efficiency(PCE). Electronic impedance spectra(EIS) indicate that exploiting dye WS-39 with high V_(OC) value as the primary sensitizer can repress the charge recombination more effectively, resulting in superior V_(OC) rather than using dye WS-2 with high J_(SC)as the primary sensitizer. As a consequence, a high PCE value of 9.48% is obtained with the delicate cosensitization using WS-39 as primary dye and WS-2 as accessory dye, which is higher than the corresponding devices sensitized by each individual dye(around 8.48-8.67%). However, designing stable Cl− oxidation reaction (COR) electrocatalyst is the key to realize this route. Herein, a type of oxygen-modified Co nanoparticles anchored graphitic carbon nanofibers catalyst (Co/GCFs) was synthesized through a two-step strategy of adsorption and pyrolysis. The Co/GCFs-2.4 exhibits high selectivity and stability for COR at neutral electrolyte. It is worth noting that unlike the water oxidation, the chemical valence of cobalt has not changed during the COR. Further results demonstrated that the oxygen-modified Co nanoparticles provide active sites for selective COR, meanwhile, the graphitic carbon gives rise to strong catalytic stability. Thanks to the superior COR and H2 production activity of Co/GCFs-2.4, a two-electrode brine electrocatalysis system employing Co/GCFs-2.4 as both cathode and anode for H2 production exhibited robust stability, efficient and high Faraday efficiency (98%-100%). | 19 | The center of pressure progression characterizes the dynamic function of higharched feet during walking显示文摘Background:The medial longitudinal arch height has an effect on kinetic parameters during gait and might be related to the risk of injury.For the assessment of foot structures,the center of pressure(COP)trajectory is a more reliable and practical parameter than plantar pressure.This study aimed to clarify the COP trajectory and velocity characteristics in the medial-lateral and anterior-posterior direction of individuals with a high-arched foot during barefoot walking.Methods:Sixty-two healthy young adults were asked to walk over a Footscan pressure plate to record the COP parameters during the stance phase of walking.Results:Compared to normal arched feet,the COP during forefoot contact and foot flat phases of high-arched feet shifted anteriorly(19.9mm and 15.1 mm,respectively),and the mean velocity of COP in anterior-posterior direction decreased by 0.26 m/s and increased by 0.044 m/s during these two phases respectively.Conclusions:The findings of this study suggest that the displacement and velocity of COP in anterior-posterior direction was different between high-arched and normal-arched subjects during barefoot walking,which can be used for the assessment of gait characteristics for high-arched individuals.The results of this study may provide insights into modifying clinical intervention for individuals with high-arched feet to enhance rehabilitation and prevent injuries and have implications for assessing the design of footwear and foot orthotics. | Bo Li Qipeng Xiang Xianyi Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2020,2,1: | 1 |
