| 1 | Effective suppression of stimulated Raman scattering in half 10 kW tandem pumping fiber lasers using chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings显示文摘The average power of fiber lasers has been scaled deeply into the kW regime in the past years. However, stimulated Raman scattering(SRS) is still a major factor limiting further power scaling. Here, we have demonstrated for the first time, to the best of our knowledge, the suppression of SRS in a half 10 kW tandem pumping fiber amplifier using chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings(CTFBGs). With specially self-designed and manufactured CTFBGs inserted between the seed laser and the amplifier stage, a maximum SRS suppression ratio of >15 dB in spectrum is observed with no reduction in laser efficiency. With one CTFBG, the effective output power is improved to3.9 kW with a beam quality M2 factor of ~1.7 from <3.5 k W with an M2 factor of >2; with two CTFBGs, the effective laser power reaches 4.2 kW with an increasing ratio of 20% and an M2 factor of ~1.8, and further power improvement is limited by the power and performance of the 1018 nm pump sources. This work provides an effective SRS suppression method for high-power all-fiber lasers, which is useful for further power scaling of these systems. | MENG WANG ZEFENG WANG LE LIU QIHAO HU HU XIAO XIAOJUN XU | 2019 | Photonics Research2019,7,2: | 11 |

| 3 | A Memory-Related Vulnerability Detection Approach Based on Vulnerability Features显示文摘Developing secure software systems is a major challenge in the software industry due to errors or weaknesses that bring vulnerabilities to the software system. To address this challenge, researchers often use the source code features of vulnerabilities to improve vulnerability detection.Notwithstanding the success achieved by these techniques, the existing studies mainly focus on the conceptual description without an accurate definition of vulnerability features. In this study,we introduce a novel and efficient Memory-Related Vulnerability Detection Approach using Vulnerability Features (MRVDAVF).Our framework uses three distinct strategies to improve vulnerability detection. In the first stage,we introduce an improved Control Flow Graph (CFG) and Pointer-related Control Flow Graph (PCFG) to describe the features of some common vulnerabilities, including memory leak, doublefree, and use-after-free.Afterward,two algorithms, namely Vulnerability Judging algorithm based on Vulnerability Feature (VJVF) and Feature Judging (FJ) algorithm, are employed to detect memory-related vulnerabilities. Finally, the proposed model is validated using three test cases obtained from Juliet Test Suite. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is feasible and effective. | Jinchang Hu Jinfu Chen Lin Zhang Yisong Liu Qihao Bao Hilary Ackah-Arthur Chi Zhang | 2020 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2020,25,5: | 1 |
| 4 | Identification and functional analysis of CG3526 in spermatogenesis of Drosophila melanogaster显示文摘Spermatogenesis is a critical part of reproduction in insects;however, its molecular mechanism is still largely unknown. In this study,we identified a testis-specific gene CG3526 in Drosophila melanogaster.Bioinformatics analysis showed that CG3526 contains a zinc binding domain and 2 C2H2 type zinc fingers, and it is clustered to the vertebrate really interesting new gene(RING)family E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases. When CG3526 was knocked down by RNA interference(RNAi),the testis became much smaller in size, and the apical tip exhibited a sharp and thin end instead of the blunt and round shape in the control testis.More importantly, compared to the control flies, only a few mature sperm were present in the seminal vesicle of C587-Gal4>CG3526 RNAi flies.Immunofluorescence staining of the testis from CG3526 RNAi flies showed that the homeostasis of testis stem cell niche was disrupted, cell distribution in the apical tip was scattered, and the process of spermatogenesis was not completed.Furthermore,we found that the phenotype of CG3526 RNAi flies’testis was similar to that of testis of Stat92E RNAi flies, the expression level of CG3526 was significantly downregulated in the Stat92EF06346 mutant flies, and the promoter activity of CG3526 was upregulated by STAT92E.Taken together, our results indicated that CG3526 is a downstream effector gene in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway that plays a key role in the spermatogenesis of Drosophila. | Qihao Hu Yanhong Xiao Runnan Wei Ting Tang Liang Wen Yuzhen Lu Xiao-Qiang Yu | 2024 | Insect Science2024,31,1: | 0 |
| 5 | High-Performance Ru_(2)P Anodic Catalyst for Alkaline Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells显示文摘Exploring efficient and economical electrocatalysts and understanding the mechanism for alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)are crucial to facilitate the development of alkaline polymer electrolyte fuel cells(APEFCs).Herein,Ru_(2)P was synthesized and used as an anodic HOR electrocatalyst for APEFC,achieving a peak power density of 1.3 W cm^(−2),the highest value among Pt-free anode electrocatalysts reported under the same conditions.Fromthe density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental results,it was found that besides the optimized hydrogen binding energy, the enhanced adsorption strength of oxygenated species(OH*)and the reduced work function of Ru_(2)P contributed to the enhanced HOR performance. The normalized exchange current densities of Ru_(2)P/C were 0.37 mA cm_(ECSA)^(−2) and 0.27 mAμgRu^(−1),respectively,both approximately three times higher than those of Ru when conducted in the rotating disk electrode(RDE)system. Our work provides a new pathway for exploring highly active Pt-free HOR electrocatalysts and expanding the family of anodic electrocatalysts for APEFCs. | Yuanmeng Zhao Fulin Yang Wei Zhang Qihao Li Xuewei Wang Lixin Su Xuemei Hu Yan Wang Zizhun Wang Lin Zhuang Shengli Chen Wei Luo | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,5: | 0 |
