1Petrogenesis and Geotectonic Significance of Early-Neoproterzoic Olivine-Gabbro within the Yangtze Craton: Constrains from the Mineral Composition, U-Pb Age and Hf Isotopes of Zircons显示文摘The olivine-gabbroic rocks located at the Huangling anticline within the Yangtze Craton are dated at circa 857–854 Ma by LA-ICP-MS method. The rocks belong to the sub-alkaline series and consist of pyroxene(35%–40%), plagioclase(40%–45%), olivine(8%–10%) and spinel(3%–5%). Olivine has Fo values of 73–83 that is classified as chrysolite. Pyroxene has relative low contents of Fe O(6.60 wt.%–8.23 wt.%) but high Ca O(20.23 wt.%–21.25 wt.%) contents, however, plagioclase has high Al_2O_3(31.78 wt.%–32.37 wt.%), Ca O(16.08 wt.%–16.25 wt.%) and An(79–80) values, but low Na2 O contents(1.95 wt.%–2.11 wt.%). Spinel are magnesioferrite with characteristics of high contents of Mg O(13.65 wt.%– 13.68 wt.%), Fe O(23.27 wt.%–23.40 wt.%) and Al_2O_3(62.43 wt.%–62.74 wt.%). Chemical compositions of these minerals are similar to those of gabbro rocks that were formed in the post-orogeny environment. The olivine-gabbro samples have negative zircon εHf values(-16.57±0.47) that resemble the mafic rocks in the same region, indicating that they are derived from the extremely enriched mantle source. On the compilation of documented Neoproterozoic mafic rocks in the Yangtze Craton, it is proposed that the mantle in the northern Yangtze Craton has experienced different degrees enrichment during the Neoproterozoic.Xingfu Jiang Songbai Peng Timothy M.Kusky Lu Wang Hao Deng 2018Journal of Earth Science2018,29,1:10
2Application of the modern ophiolite concept with special reference to Precambrian ophiolites显示文摘Much has been learned in the past 40 years about the great diversity of the internal structure and geochemical compositions of Phanerozoic ophiolites, indicating that these on-land fragments of ancient oceanic lithosphere formed in distinctly different tectonic settings during their igneous evolution. Recent studies in Archean and Proterozoic greenstone belts have shown that the Precambrian rock record may also include exposures of a diverse suite of ophiolite complexes as part of craton development in the early history of the Earth. We review the salient features of the Precambrian ophiolite record to highlight what has been learned about Precambrian oceanic spreading systems since the original Penrose definition of ophiolites in 1972. Some of the diagnostic, characteristic, typical, and rare aspects of ophiolites of all ages are presented in a table in order to help determine if tectonically deformed and metamophosed sequences in Precambrian shield areas may be considered as ophiolites. The results of this comparative study are important in that they enable researchers to more realistically characterize allochthonous mafic/ultramafic rock sequences as ophiolitic or non-ophiolitic. This approach is more deterministic in contrast to some other arbitrary classification schemes requiring three or four of the Penrose-style ophiolitic units to be present in the Precambrian record for a specific rock sequence to be considered ophiolitic. Once these tectonic fragments are recognized as remnants of ancient oceanic lithosphere, great progress shall be made in understanding early Earth history. We discuss the significance and implications of the Precambrian ophiolite record to constrain the mode and nature of the plate tectonics that operated in deep time.Timothy M. 3Mechanical Properties of QFP Joints Soldered with SnAgCu and SnPb Solders显示文摘With the development of lead-free solder alloys, the investiagtion focusing on the relibility of lead-free solders are essential. Since the reliability database of lead-free solder joints needs to be further supplied, the creep behavior of SnAgCu soldered joints on Quad Flat Package (QFP) devices under thermo cycling load are studied in this paper, compared to conventional SnPb solder, by finite element simulation based on Garofalo-Arrhenius creep model. Meanwhile, the mechanical properties of SnAgCu and SnPb soldered joints in the pitches of QFP devices are also carried out by means of tensile test. The results indicate that the values of strain and stress of SnAgCu soldered joints were all smaller than those of SnPb under thermal cycling, and the tensile strength of the joints soldered with SnAgCu solder was higher than that of SnPb, which means the reliability of the joints soldered with SnAgCu solder is better than SnPb soldered joints. As the fracture surface morphology of the soldered joints compared, SnAgCu soldered joint presented ductile fracture, while the fracture mechanism of SnPb solder joints displayed both brittle and ductile fracture. 7Fast 3D joint inversion of gravity and magnetic data based on cross gradient constraint显示文摘The gravity and magnetic data can be adopted to interpret the internal structure of the Earth.To improve the calculation efficiency during the inversion process and the accuracy and reliability of the reconstructed physical property models,the triple strategy is adopted in this paper to develop a fast cross-gradient joint inversion for gravity and magnetic data.The cross-gradient constraint contains solving the gradients of the physical property models and performing the cross-product calculation of their gradients.The sparse matrices are first obtained by calculating the gradients of the physical property models derived from the first-order finite difference.Then,the triple method is applied to optimize the storages and the calculations related to the gradients of the physical property models.Therefore,the storage compression amount of the calculations related to the gradients of the physical property models and the cross-gradient constraint are reduced to one-fold of the number of grid cells at least,and the compression ratio increases with the increase of the number of grid cells.The test results from the synthetic data and field data prove that the structural coupling is achieved by using the fast cross-gradient joint inversion method to effectively reduce the multiplicity of solutions and improve the computing efficiency.Sheng Liu Xiangyun Wan Shuanggen Jin Bin Jia Songbai Xuan Quan Lou Binbin Qin Rongfu Peng Dali Sun 2023Geodesy and Geodynamics2023,14,4:0

10Sm-Nd,Pb-Pb and Rb-Sr Isotopic Dating and Its Dynamic Implications for the Proterozoic Augen Granite in the Yunkai Area,Western Guangdong Province显示文摘The samples of ductile-rheologic deformational augen granite from the Yunkai uplift area, western Guangdong province, were determined by the whole-rock Sm-Nd, Pb-Pb and Rb-Sr isotopic dating to have an Sm-Nd isochron age of 1414±68 Ma, a Pb-Pb isochron age of 1388±90 Ma and a Rb-Sr isochron age of 490±36 Ma. The first two ages are interpreted as the formation age of this suite of granite and the last age represents the timing of the tec-tono-thermal event of Caledonian ductile-rheologic shear partial melting. 12Application of robotic-assisted endoscopic third ventriculostomy显示文摘Objective:This case series study explored the application of ROSA(robot of stereotactic assistant)robotic-assisted endoscopic third ventriculostomy(ETV)in the treatment of hydrocephalus.Methods:Three patients(January2016-October2017)diagnosed with hydrocephalus based on preoperative computed tomograph(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)scans were recruited.Navigation planning scan was performed before operation.ROSA robot localization program was used to simulate and analyze the path planning of hydrocephalus ETV and store it in the system.All the three patients underwent robotic-assisted ETV.The patients'clinical symptoms,imaging manifestations and related complications were evaluated,and a3-month follow-up survey was conducted.Prognostic factors were also analyzed.Results:ETV under the guidance of ROSA robot was successfully performed on the three patients.CT,MRI and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)cine showed that the ventricles were narrowed,that the velocity and flow of the stoma were normal,and that the CSF flow was smooth.After discharge,the symptoms of hydrocephalus were significantly improved.Localization of the robot and design of the surgical path were key to success of the operation.Conclusions:ROSA robotic-assisted ETV is a feasible procedure.The patients recovered well,and the symptoms relieved.More efforts are needed to optimize artificial intelligence and the application of precision treatment in the nervous system.Peng Zhao Yinyan Wang Jiwei Bai Bin Li Chuzhong Li Songbai Gui Xinsheng Wang Xuyi Zong Yazhuo Zhang 2018Journal of Translational Neuroscience2018,3,1:0
