Tectonically deformed coal types and pore structures in Puhe and Shanchahe coal mines in western Guizhou显示文摘To evaluate the effect of tectonic deformation on coal reservoir properties, we provide an analysis of the types of tectonically deformed coal, macroand microscopic deformation and discuss pore structural characteristics and connectivity based on samples from the Puhe and Shanchahe coal mines. Our research shows that the tectonically deformed coal mostly includes cataclastic structural coal, mortar structural coal and schistose structural coal of a brittle deformation series. The major pore structures of different types of tectonically deformed coal are transitional pores and micropores. The pore volumes of macropores and visible fracture pores produced by structural deformations vary over a large range and increase with the intensity of tectonic deformation. Mesopores as connecting passages develop well in schistose structural coal. According to the shapes of intrusive mercury curves, tectonically deformed coal can be divided into parallel, open and occluded types. The parallel type has poor connectivity and is relatively closed; the open type reflects uniformly developed open pores with good connectivity while the occluded type is good for coalbed methane enrichment, but has poor connectivity between pores.Li Ming Jiang Bo Lin Shoufa Wang Jilin Ji Mingjun Qu Zhenghui 2011Mining Science and Technology2011,21,3:19
Association of Overlapped and Un-overlapped Comorbidities with COVID-19 Severity and Treatment Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study from Nine Provinces in China显示文摘Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains unclear. Methods A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in China. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of COVID-19.Results Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two weeks. Conclusion Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease, while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes.MA Yan ZHU Dong Shan CHEN Ren Bo SHI Nan Nan LIU Si Hong FAN Yi Pin WU Gui Hui YANG Pu Ye BAI Jiang Feng CHEN Hong CHEN Li Ying FENG Qiao GUO Tuan Mao HOU Yong HU Gui Fen HU Xiao Mei HU Yun Hong HUANG Jin HUANG Qiu Hua HUANG Shao Zhen JI Liang JIN Hai Hao LEI Xiao LI Chun Yan LI Min Qing LI Qun Tang LI Xian Yong LIU Hong De LIU Jin Ping LIU Zhang MA Yu Ting MAO Ya MO Liu Fen NA Hui WANG Jing Wei SONG Fang Li SUN Sheng WANG Dong Ting WANG Ming Xuan WANG Xiao Yan WANG Yin Zhen WANG Yu Dong WU Wei WU Lan Ping XIAO Yan Hua XIE Hai Jun XU Hong Ming XU Shou Fang XUE Rui Xia YANG Chun YANG Kai Jun YUAN Sheng Li ZHANG Gong Qi ZHANG Jin Bo ZHANG Lin Song ZHAO Shu Sen ZHAO Wan Ying ZHENG Kai ZHOU Ying Chun ZHU Jun Teng ZHU Tian Qing ZHANG Hua Min WANG Yan Ping WANG Yong Yan 2020Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2020,33,12:8
Development and utilization of a new chemically-induced soybean library with a high mutation density显示文摘Mutagenized populations have provided important materials for introducing variation and identifying gene function in plants. In this study, an ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS)-induced soybean(Glycine max) population, consisting of 21,600 independent M_2 lines, was developed.Over 1,000 M_(4(5))families, with diverse abnormal phenotypes for seed composition, seed shape, plant morphology and maturity that are stably expressed across different environments and generations were identified. Phenotypic analysis of the population led to the identification of a yellow pigmentation mutant, gyl, that displayed significantly decreased chlorophyll(Chl) content and abnormal chloroplast development. Sequence analysis showed that gyl is allelic to Minn Gold, where a different single nucleotide polymorphism variation in the Mg-chelatase subunit gene(ChlI1a) results in golden yellow leaves. A cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence marker was developed and may be applied to marker-assisted selection for the golden yellow phenotype in soybean breeding. We show that the newly developed soybean EMS mutant population has potential for functional genomics research and genetic improvement in soybean.Zhongfeng Li Lingxue Jiang Yansong Ma Zhongyan Wei Huilong Hong Zhangxiong Liu Jinhui Lei Ying Liu Rongxia Guan Yong Guo Longguo Jin Lijuan Zhang Yinghui Li Yulong Ren Wei He Ming Liu Nang Myint Phyu Sin Htwe Lin Liu Bingfu Guo Jian Song Bing Tan Guifeng Liu Maiquan Li Xianli Zhang Bo Liu Xuehui Shi Sining Han Sunan Hua Fulai Zhou Lili Yu Yanfei Li Shuang Wang Jun Wang Ruzhen Chang Lijuan Qiu 2017Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2017,59,1:6
Chinese consensus on management of tyrosine kinase inhibitor-associated side effects in gastrointestinal stromal tumors显示文摘Tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) have improved the overall survival of patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs), but their side effects can impact dose intensity and, consequently, the clinical benefit. To date, no guideline or consensus has been published on the TKI-associated adverse reactions. Therefore, the Chinese Society of Surgeons for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association organized an expert panel discussion involving representatives from gastrointestinal surgery, medical oncology, cardiology, dermatology, nephrology, endocrinology, and ophthalmology to consider the systemic clinical symptoms, molecular and cellular mechanisms, and treatment recommendations of GISTs. Here, we present the resultant evidence-and experience-based consensus to guide the management of TKI-associated side events in clinical practice.Jian Li Ming Wang Bo Zhang Xin Wu Tian-Long Lin Xiu-Feng Liu Ye Zhou Xin-Hua Zhang Hao Xu Li-Jing Shen Jing Zou Ping Lu Dong Zhang Wei-Jun Gu Mei-Xia Zhang Jian Pan Hui Cao 2018World Journal of Gastroenterology2018,24,46:6

Room-temperature production of silver-nanofiber film for large-area, transparent and flexible surface electromagnetic interference shielding显示文摘A kind of pollution known as electromagnetic interference(EMI),which results from ubiquitous usage of various electronic communication and military radar equipment, has been receiving increasing attention recently.However,large-area EMI shielding on transparent and/or curved surfaces, including building windows, curved glass wall, and special requirements spaces(SRSs),remains hard to achieve. In this paper,a silver nanofiber(AgNF)based flexible and transparent EMI shielding film was successfully assembled via a room-temperature roll-to-roll production method. For transparent application scenario,AgNF with 89%transmittance in visible range and 1μm thickness shows~20 dB shielding efficiency(EMI SE).On the other hand, total shielding(>50 dB)is obtained when the thickness of AgNF increases to 10μm,while its transmittance in visible range remains higher than 75%.Considering the facile and scale-free production technology, this material can be readily applied in large-scale,transparent,and/or SRSs EMI shielding.Sen Lin Haiyang Wang Fan Wu Qingmin Wang Xiaopeng Bai Di Zu Jianan Song Dong Wang Zhenglian Liu Ziwei Li Nian Tao Kai Huang Ming Lei Bo Li Hui Wu 2019npj Flexible Electronics2019,3,1:4
Clustering of Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Diabetes: A Prospective Cohort Study on the Inner Mongolian Population in China显示文摘Objective To evaluate the effect of clustering of cardiovascular risk factors(CVRFs) on type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2 DM) incidence and identify some high predictive clusters in the Inner Mongolian population in China. Methods A total of 1,884 Mongolian individuals aged 20 years or above were followed up from 2002 to 2013 and included in the final analysis. We categorized the participants into two subgroups according to the study outcome event. A Cox proportional hazards model was used to evaluate the effect of clustering of CVRFs on the incidence of T2 DM. Areas under the curve were used to compare the effect of every cluster on T2 DM and identify those having higher predictive value. Results We found 203 persons with T2 DM. Subjects with incident T2 DM tended to be older, had a higher prevalence of drinking, had higher systolic and diastolic pressures; total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and C-reactive protein levels; waist circumference; body mass index; and heart rate and lower HDL-C level than did those without T2 DM. The multivariable adjusted hazard ratio(95% confidence interval) of T2 DM was calculated based on comparisons with subjects with 0 CVRFs; in participants with 2 and ≥ 3 factors, the adjusted hazard ratios were 2.257(1.448, 3.518) and 3.316(2.119, 5.188), respectively. Conclusion The clustering of CVRFs increased the risk of T2 DM. On the basis of fast heart rate, the cluster of abdominal obesity and other CVRFs had higher predictive value for T2 DM than the other three CVRF clusters.WANG Ting Ting LIN Bo CUI Wen Xiu ZHANG Ming Zhi ZHANG Yong Hong ZHANG Shao Yan 2018Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2018,31,10:3
Acute Pesticide Poisoning in Jiangsu Province, China, from 2006 to 2015显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of pesticide poisoning in Jiangsu Province, China, and to provide a scientific basis for developing effective interventional measures and preventive strategies. From 2006 to 2015, a total of 35,308 cases of pesticide poisoning were reported in Jiangsu Province. Non‐occupational poisoning accounted for 73.79% of all poisoning cases. A comparison of the data collected before(2006) and after(2015) this study showed a decrease in non‐occupational pesticide poisoning. Pesticide poisoning showed an age central tendency of 30 to 44 years, area central tendency for northern Jiangsu, and seasonal central tendency of occupational pesticide poisoning in autumn. Pesticide poisoning remains a major health concern in China. Government agencies together with scientists should focus their efforts on the prevention of potential threats to vulnerable groups such as the elderly, women, and children.WANG Bo Shen CHEN Lin LI Xiu Ting XU Ming ZHU Bao Li ZHANG Juan 2017Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2017,30,9:3
Crystal phase-controlled growth of PtCu and PtCo alloys on 4H Au nanoribbons for electrocatalytic ethanol oxidation reaction显示文摘Crystal phase can greatly affect the physicochemical properties and applications of nanomaterials. However,it stil remains a great challenge to synthesize nanostructures with the same composition and morphology but different phases in order to explore the phase-dependent properties and applications.Herein,we report the crystal phase-controlled synthesis of PtCu alloy shells on 4H Au nanoribbons(NRBs),referred to as 4H-Au NRBs,to form the 4H-Au@PtCu core-shell NRBs.By tuning the thickness of PtCu,4H-PtCu and face-centered cubic(cc)phase PICu(cc-PtCu)alloy shells are successtully grown on the 4H-Au NRB cores. This thickness-dependent phase-controlled growth strategy can also be used to grow PtCo alloys with 4H or fcc phase on 4H-Au NRBs.Significantly, when used as electrocatalysts for the ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR)in alkaline media, the 4H-Au@4H-PtCu NRBs show much better EOR performance than the 4H-Au@fcc-PtCu NRBs,and both of them possess superior performance compared to the commercial Pt black. Our study provides a strategy on phase-contolled synthesis of nanomaterials used for crystal phase-dependent applications.Jie Wang Jian Zhang Guigao Liu Chongyi Ling Bo Chen Jingtao Huang Xiaozhi Liu Bing Li An-Liang Wang Zhaoning Hu Ming Zhou Ye Chen Hongfei Cheng Jiawei Liu Zhanxi Fan Nailiang Yang Chaoliang Tan Lin Gu Jinlan Wang Hua Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,7:2
Integrated Wide Area Protection and Control for Power Grid Security显示文摘The traditional“three defense lines”for power systems are based on local information and static protection&control strategy, which are not suitable to modern large-scale power systems. In order to improve the security of UHV hybrid power grids, the Integrated Wide Area Protection&Control(IWAPC)is proposed in this paper by applying the new technologies of synchronized high-speed communication, which integrates“three defense lines”and promotes existing wide area protection only for security control. The IWAPC is the hierarchical protection and control system which provides the protection and control for wide area power networks to improve their reliability and security. It is divided into three levels, the local bay level, the substation integrated protection level and the wide area protection level. The wide area real-time protection and control information platform is the most important part of the IWAPC,which is based on a synchronized wide area communication network. The key technologies and new development trends include network topology analysis, wide area backup protection, wide area intelligent reclosing, wide area load shedding, wide area auto-switching,overload cutoff and transfer, transmission section protection, intelligent system splitting and dynamic stability control. It cannot only integrate three lines of defense for power system protection and control, but also improve security of the power grid.Qingping Wang Zhiqian Bo Yingke Zhao Xiaowei Ma Ming Zhang Hao Zheng Lin Wang 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,2:2

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Therapy for Critically Ill Coronavirus Disease 2019 Patients in Wuhan,China:A Retrospective Multicenter Cohort Study显示文摘Currently, little in-depth evidence is known about the application of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)therapy in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients.This retrospective multicenter cohort study included patients with COVID-19 at 7 designated hospitals in Wuhan,China. The patients were followed up until June 30,2020.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify the risk factors associated with unsuccessful ECMO weaning.Propensity score matching was used to match patients who received veno-venous ECMO with those who received invasive mechanical ventilation(IMV)-only therapy.Of 88 patients receiving ECMO therapy,27 and 61 patients were and were not successfully weaned from ECMO,respectively.Additionally,15,15,and 65 patients were further weaned from IMV,discharged from hospital,or died during hospitalization, respectively. In the multivariate logistic regression analysis,a lymphocyte count≤0.5×10^(9)/L and D-dimer concentration>4×the upper limit of normal level at ICU admission,a peak PaCO_(2)>60 mmHg at 24 h before ECMO initiation, and no tracheotomy performed during the ICU stay were independently associated with lower odds of ECMO weaning. In the propensity scorematched analysis,a mixed-effect Cox model detected a lower hazard ratio for 120-day all-cause mortality after ICU admission during hospitalization in the ECMO group. The presence of lymphocytopenia, higher D-dimer concentrations at ICU admission and hypercapnia before ECMO initiation could help to identify patients with a poor prognosis.Tracheotomy could facilitate weaning from ECMO.ECMO relative to IMV-only therapy was associated with improved outcomes in critically ill COVID-19 patients.Jing FANG Rui LI Yue CHEN Juan-juan QIN Ming HU Chao-lin HUANG Lin CHENG Yi HE Yi LI Qiang ZHOU Dai-xing ZHOU Fei HUANG Fang LEI Bo YANG Jun CHEN Hong-ping DENG Yu-feng YUAN Jia-hong XIA Song WAN Hong-liang LI Xiang WEI 2021Current Medical Science2021,41,1:2
