1Shape-free finite element method:The plane hybrid stress-function (HS-F) element method for anisotropic materials显示文摘The sensitivity problem to mesh distortion and the low accuracy problem of the stress solutions are two inherent difficulties in the finite element method.By applying the fundamental analytical solutions (in global Cartesian coordinates) to the Airy stress function of the anisotropic materials,8-and 12-node plane quadrilateral hybrid stress-function (HS-F) elements are successfully developed based on the principle of the minimum complementary energy.Numerical results show that the present new elements exhibit much better and more robust performance in both displacement and stress solutions than those obtained from other models.They can still perform very well even when the element shapes degenerate into a triangle and a concave quadrangle.It is also demonstrated that the proposed construction procedure is an effective way for developing shape-free finite element models which can completely overcome the sensitivity problem to mesh distortion and can produce highly accurate stress solutions.CEN Song FU XiangRong ZHOU GuoHua ZHOU MingJue LI ChenFeng 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,4:7
2A simple approach for bubble modelling from multiphase fluid simulation显示文摘This article presents a novel and flexible bubble modelling technique for multi-fluid simulations using a volume fraction representation. By combining the volume fraction data obtained from a primary multi-fluid simulation with simple and efficient secondary bubble simulation, a range of real-world bubble phenomena are captured with a high degree of physical realism, including large bubble deformation,sub-cell bubble motion, bubble stacking over the liquid surface, bubble volume change, dissolving of bubbles,etc. Without any change in the primary multi-fluid simulator, our bubble modelling approach is applicable to any multi-fluid simulator based on the volume fraction representation.Bo Ren Yuntao Jiang Chenfeng Li Ming C.Lin 2015Computational Visual Media2015,1,2:3

6Finite element analysis for inclined wellbore stability of transversely iso-tropic rock with HMCD coupling based on weak plane strength criterion显示文摘The finite element analysis(FEA) technology by hydraulic-mechanical-chemical-damage(HMCD) coupling is proposed in this paper for inclined wellbore stability analysis of water-sensitive and laminated rock, developed basing on the recently established FEA technology for transversely isotropic rock with hydraulic-mechanical-damage(HMD) coupling. The chemical activity of the drilling fluid is considered as phenomenological hydration behavior, the moisture content and parameters of rock considering hydration could be determined with time. The finite element(FE) solutions of numerical wellbore model considering the chemical activity of drilling fluid, damage tensor calculation and weak plane strength criterion for transversely isotropic rock are developed for researching the wellbore failure characteristics and computing the time-dependent collapse and fracture pressure of laminated rock as shale reservoirs. A three-dimensional FE model and elastic solid deformation and seepage flow coupled equations are developed, and the damage tensor calculation technology for transversely isotropic rock are realized by introducing effect of the hydration and the stress state under the current load. The proposed method utilizing weak plane strength criterion fully reflects the strength parameters in rock matrix and weak plane. To the end, an effective and reliable numerically three-step FEA strategy is well established for wellbore stability analysis. 13Periodic signal extraction of GNSS height time series based on adaptive singular spectrum analysis显示文摘Singular spectrum analysis is widely used in geodetic time series analysis.However,when extracting time-varying periodic signals from a large number of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)time series,the selection of appropriate embedding window size and principal components makes this method cumbersome and inefficient.To improve the efficiency and accuracy of singular spectrum analysis,this paper proposes an adaptive singular spectrum analysis method by combining spectrum analysis with a new trace matrix.The running time and correlation analysis indicate that the proposed method can adaptively set the embedding window size to extract the time-varying periodic signals from GNSS time series,and the extraction efficiency of a single time series is six times that of singular spectrum analysis.The method is also accurate and more suitable for time-varying periodic signal analysis of global GNSS sites.Chenfeng Li Peibing Yang Tengxu Zhang Jiachun Guo 2024Geodesy and Geodynamics2024,15,1:0
14mTORC1 induces plasma membrane depolarization and promotes preosteoblast senescence by regulating the sodium channel Scn1a显示文摘Senescence impairs preosteoblast expansion and differentiation into functional osteoblasts,blunts their responses to bone formation-stimulating factors and stimulates their secretion of osteoclast-activating factors.Due to these adverse effects,preosteoblast senescence is a crucial target for the treatment of age-related bone loss;however,the underlying mechanism remains unclear.We found that mTORC1 accelerated preosteoblast senescence in vitro and in a mouse model.Mechanistically,mTORC1 induced a change in the membrane potential from polarization to depolarization,thus promoting cell senescence by increasing Ca^(2+)influx and activating downstream NFAT/ATF3/p53 signaling.We further identified the sodium channel Scn1a as a mediator of membrane depolarization in senescent preosteoblasts.Scn1a expression was found to be positively regulated by mTORC1 upstream of C/EBPα,whereas its permeability to Na^(+)was found to be gated by protein kinase A(PKA)-induced phosphorylation.Prosenescent stresses increased the permeability of Scn1a to Na^(+)by suppressing PKA activity and induced depolarization in preosteoblasts.Together,our findings identify a novel pathway involving mTORC1,Scn1a expression and gating,plasma membrane depolarization,increased Ca^(2+)influx and NFAT/ATF3/p53 signaling in the regulation of preosteoblast senescence.Pharmaceutical studies of the related pathways and agents might lead to novel potential treatments for agerelated bone loss.Ajuan Chen Jian Jin Shasha Cheng Zezheng Liu Cheng Yang Qingjing Chen Wenquan Liang Kai Li Dawei Kang Zhicong Ouyang Chenfeng Yao Xiaochun Bai Qingchu Li Dadi Jin Bin Huang 2022Bone Research2022,10,2:0
