| 1 | A review on synthesis of graphene,h-BN and MoS2 for energy storage applications:Recent progress and perspectives显示文摘The significance of graphene and its two-dimensional(2D)analogous inorganic layered materials especially as hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)and molybdenum disulphide(MoS2)for“clean energy”applications became apparent over the last few years due to their extraordinary properties.In this review article we study the current progress and selected challenges in the syntheses of graphene,h-BN and MoS2 including energy storage applications as supercapacitors and batteries.Various substrates/catalysts(metals/insulator/semiconducting)have been used to obtain graphene,h-BN and MoS2 using different kinds of precursors.The most widespread methods for synthesis of graphene,h-BN and MoS2 layers are chemical vapor deposition(CVD),plasma-enhanced CVD,hydro/solvothermal methods,liquid phase exfoliation,physical methods etc.Current research has shown that graphene,h-BN and MoS2 layered materials modified with metal oxide can have an insightful influence on the performance of energy storage devices as supercapacitors and batteries.This review article also contains the discussion on the opportunities and perspectives of these materials(graphene,h-BN and MoS2)in the energy storage fields.We expect that this witen review article including recent research on energy storage will help in generating new insights for further development and practical applications of graphene,h-BN and MoS2 layers based materials. | Rajesh Kumar Sumanta Sahoo Ednan Joanni Rajesh Kumar Singh Ram Manohar Yadav Rajiv Kumar Verma Dinesh Pratap Singh Wai Kian Tan Angel Perez del Pino Stanislav A.Moshkalev Atsunori Matsuda | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,11: | 12 |
| 2 | Protection coordination in distribution systems with and without distributed energy resources-a review显示文摘Emission of greenhouse gases and depletion of fossil fuel reserves are two key drivers,which are forcing the mankind to generate the future energy demand from the renewable energy resources.These resources are generally distributed in nature and are directly integrated at distribution levels.Increasing penetration of the distributed energy resources in distribution power networks creates additional operational and control issues.These are mostly regulatory,economical load dispatching,power quality and protection issues.Generally power distribution systems are protected with the help of dedicated over current based protection schemes.But increasing share of distributed energy resources penetration in electric utilities poses a serious threat to the existing protection coordination schemes of the distribution systems.Distributed energy resources connected distribution networks become interconnected in nature and protection coordination schemes,which are designed for unidirectional flow of fault currents become ineffective/non-functional.Therefore,new protection coordination schemes are required for providing the adequate protection coordination for distributed energy resources connected electric power networks.In the available literature,the protection coordination schemes for radial distribution systems and developments in the area of protection coordination are discussed in detail.A thorough review for all these protection coordination schemes for distribution systems with and without distributed energy resources is done in this review article.It includes the analytical and artificial intelligence based techniques application for coordination of protective relays in the distribution systems.The limitations and research gaps in the area of protection coordination schemes are also presented in this review article.The aim of this research paper is to bring all the available research in the area of relay coordination on one platform,so that it will help the emerging researcher to identify the future scope of relay coordination application for distributed energy resources connected distribution systems. | Manohar Singh | 2017 | Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2017,2,1: | 3 |

| 5 | Diversity,Distribution and Prioritization of Fodder Species for Conservation in Kullu District,Northwestern Himalaya,India显示文摘In the Indian Himalayan Region predominantly rural in character, livestock is one of the main sources of livelihood and integral part of the economy. Livestock mostly rely on fodder from wild. The diversity, distribution, utilization pattern, nativity, endemism, rarity, seasonality of availability, nutritive values, perceived economic values and pressure use index of livestock have not been studied. The present study attempts to enumerate 150 species of fodder representing trees (51 spp.), shrubs (54 spp.) and herbs (45 spp.). Poaceae (19 spp.) and Fabaceae (13 spp.) amongst families and Salix (6 spp.), Ficus, Clematis, and Desmodium (5 spp., each) amongst genera are rich in species. Maximum species were found in the 1801 ~ 2600 m zone, and the remaining two zones showed relatively low diversity. Out of the 150 species, 109 are used in summer, 5 winter and 36 throughout year. During rainy season, mostly grasses are used as fodder. Only 83 species are native to the Himalayan region, one species, Strobilanthus atropuroureus is endemic and 35 species are near endemic. The nutritive values of the fodder species were reviewed, and economic values and status of the species were also assessed. The pressure use index of the species was calculated on the basis of cumulative values of the utilization pattern, altitudinal distribution, availability, status, nativity and endemism. Amongst the species, Grewia oppositifoilia, Morus serrata, Indigofera heterantha, Quercus leucotrichphora, Ulmus villosa, U. wallichiana and Aesculus indica showed highest PUI indicating high preference and pressure. Season wise prioritization of the species for different altitudinal zones has been done. Appropriate strategy and action plan have been suggested for the conservation and management of fodder species. | S. S.
