| 1 | Progress of the technique of coal microwave desulfurization显示文摘With the advantages of its fast speed,effective and moderate controllable conditions,desulfurization of coal by microwave has become research focus in the field of clean coal technology.Coal is a homogeneous mixture which consists of various components with different dielectric properties,so their abilities to absorb microwaves are different,and the sulfur-containing components are better absorbers of microwave,which makes them can be selectively heated and reacted under microwave irradiation.There still remain controversies on the principle of microwave desulfurization at present,thermal effects or non-thermal effects.The point of thermal effects of microwave is mainly base on its characters of rapidly and selectly heating.While,in view of non-thermal effect,direct interactions between the microwave electromagnetic field and sulfur containing components are proposed.It is a fundamental problem to determine the dielectric properties of coal and the sulfur-containing components to reveal the interaction of microwave and sulfur-containing compounds.However,the test of dielectric property of coal is affected by many factors,which makes it difficult to measure dielectric properties accurately.In order to achieve better desulfurization effect,the researchers employ methods of adding chemical additives such as acid,alkali,oxidant,reductant,or changing the reaction atmosphere,or combining with other methods such as magnetic separation,ultrasonic and microorganism.Researchers in this field have also put forward several processes,and have obtained a number of patents.Obscurity of microwave desulfurization mechanism,uncertainties in qualitative and quantitative analysis of sulfur-containing functional groups in coal,and the lack of special microwave equipment have limited further development of microwave desulfurization technology. | Xiuxiang Tao Ning Xu Maohua Xie Longfei Tang | 2014 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,1: | 15 |

This paper studied a new type of a solid-liquid composite volumetric receiver. The heat transfer in a solid-liquid composite volumetric solar receiver was analyzed using a one-dimensional unsteady simulation model of the solid-liquid receiver. The model included absorption of the incident solar radiation by the glass window, the silicon carbide porous ceramic heat absorber panel and the water. The results were verified against experimental data for a volumetric receiver and the error did not exceed 10%. | 7 | Multi-Component and Multi-Point Trace Gas Sensing in Wavelength Modulation Spectroscopy Based on Wavelength Stabilization显示文摘Multi-component and multi-point trace gas sensing in the wavelength modulation spectroscopy is demonstrated based on the frequency-division multiplexing and time-division multiplexing technology.A reference photodetector is connected in series with a reference gas cell with the constant concentration to measure the second-harmonics peak of the components for wavelength stabilization in real time.The central wavelengths of the distributed feedback lasers are locked to the target gas absorption centers by the reference second-harmonics signal using a digital proportional-integral-derivative controller.The distributed feedback lasers with different wavelengths and modulation frequencies are injected into the gas cell to achieve multi-components gas measurement by the frequency-division multiplexing technology.In addition,multi-point trace gas sensing is achieved by the time-division multiplexing technology using a photoswitch and a relay unit.We use this scheme to detect methane(CH4)at 1650.9 nm and water vapor(H2O)at 1368.597 nm as a proof of principle with the gas cell path length of 10 cm.The minimum detection limits achieved for H2O and CH4 are 1.13 ppm and 11.85 ppm respectively,with three-point gas cell measurement;thus 10.5-fold and 10.1-fold improvements are achieved in comparison with the traditional wavelength modulation spectroscopy.Meanwhile,their excellent R-square values reach 0.9983 and 0.99564 for the concentration ranges of 500 ppm to 2000 ppm and 800 ppm to 2700 ppm,respectively. | Zongliang WANG Jun CHANG Huishan YU Cunwei TIAN Hao ZHANG Xiukun ZHANG Longfei TANG Qinduan ZHANG Yiwen FENG | 2019 | Photonic Sensors2019,9,4: | 2 |

| 13 | Genetic Analysis of Structural Styles in the Makran Accretionary Wedge–Insight from Physical Simulations显示文摘The Makran accretionary wedge has the smallest subduction angle among any accretionary prism in the world. The factors controlling the spacing and morphological development of its deep thrust faults, as well as the formation mechanism of shallow normal faults, remain unclear. Meanwhile, the factors affecting the continuity of plane faults must be comprehensively discussed. Clarifying the development characteristics and deformation mechanisms of the Makran accretionary wedge is crucial to effectively guide the exploration of gas hydrate deposits in the area. This study aims to interpret seismic data to identify typical structures in the Makran accretionary wedge, including deep imbricate thrust faults, shallow and small normal faults, wedge-shaped piggyback basins, mud diapirs with fuzzy and disorderly characteristics of reflection, décollements with a northward tilt of 1° – 2°, and large seamounts. Physical simulation-based experiments are performed to comprehensively analyze the results of the plane, section, and slices of the wedge. Results reveal that the distances between and shapes of thrust faults in the deep parts of the Makran accretionary wedge are controlled by the bottom décollement. The uplift of the thrust fault-related folds and the upwelling of the mud diapirs primarily contribute to the formation of small normal faults in the shallow part of the area. The mud diapirs originate from plastic material at the bottom, while those that have developed in the area near the trench are larger. | 14 | Novel dual inhibitors against FP-2 and PfDHFR as potential antimalarial agents: Design, synthesis and biological evaluation显示文摘Resistance to malaria parasites has quickly developed to almost all used antimalarial drugs. Cysteine protease falcipain-2(FP-2) and Plasmodium falciparum dihydrofolate reductase(PfDHFR) have crucial roles, which are absolutely necessary, in the parasite life cycle. In this study, based on the uniform pharmacophores of reported PfDHFR inhibitors and the first-generation dual inhibitors against FP-2 and PfDHFR, we identified a novel series of dual inhibitors through fragments assembly. Lead optimization led to the identification of 14, which showed potent inhibition against FP-2 and PfDHFR enzyme(IC_(50)= 6.8 + 1.8 mmol/L and IC_(50)= 8.8 + 0.3 mmol/L) and P. falciparum 3D7 strain(IC50= 2.9mmol/L).Additionally, 14 exhibited more potent inhibition to the proliferation of chloroquine-resistant P.falciparum Dd2 strain(IC_(50)= 1.1 mmol/L) than pyrimethamine(IC_(50)>10 mmol/L), and 14 displayed micromolar inhibitory activities against two clinical isolated strains Fab9(IC_(50)= 2.6 mmol/L) and GB4(IC_(50)= 1.0 mmol/L). | 16 | Electrochemical Evaluation of Tumor Development via Cellular Interface Supported CRISPR/Cas Trans-Cleavage显示文摘Evaluating tumor development is of great importance for clinic treatment and therapy.It has been known that the amounts of sialic acids on tumor cell membrane surface are closely associated with the degree of cancerization of the cell.So,in this work,cellular interface supported CRISPR/Cas trans-cleavage has been explored for electrochemical simultaneous detection of two types of sialic acids,i.e.,N-glycolylneuraminic acid(Neu5Gc)and N-acetylneuraminic acid(Neu5Ac).Specifically,PbS quantum dot-labeled DNA modified by Neu5Gc antibody is prepared to specifically recognize Neu5Gc on the cell surface,followed by the binding of Neu5Ac through our fabricated CdS quantum dot-labeled DNA modified by Sambucus nigra agglutinin.Subsequently,the activated Cas12a indiscriminately cleaves DNA,resulting in the release of PbS and CdS quantum dots,both of which can be simultaneously detected by anodic stripping voltammetry.Consequently,Neu5Gc and Neu5Ac on cell surface can be quantitatively analyzed with the lowest detection limits of 1.12 cells/mL and 1.25 cells/mL,respectively.Therefore,a ratiometric electrochemical method can be constructed for kinetic study of the expression and hydrolysis of Neu5Gc and Neu5Ac on cell surface,which can be further used as a tool to identify bladder cancer cells at different development stages.Our method to evaluate tumor development is simple and easy to be operated,so it can be potentially applied for the detection of tumor occurrence and development in the future. | Liangfen Cheng Fuhan Yang Longfei Tang Lelin Qian Xu Chen Feng Guan Juan Zhang Genxi Li | 2022 | Research2022,,3: | 0 |
| 17 | Evaluation of Effects of Tea Saponin on Behavior, Growth and Development of Cylas formicarius (Coleoptera: Brentidae)显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to expand the insect resistance spectrum of tea saponin, and its control effect on Cylas formicarius and the potential as an insecticide for pest control were explored. [Methods] The olfactory avoidance rate of C. formicarius to tea saponin aqueous solution was determined by Y-type olfactometer;the feeding avoidance rate of C. formicarius to tea saponin was determined by the selective method;the antifeedant rate of C. formicarius to tea saponin was determined by non-selective method;and the development duration and mortality of C. formicarius under the influence of tea saponin were determined by artificial feeding method. [Results] C. formicarius had no significant olfactory tendency to every concentration of tea saponin, and the olfactory avoidance rate of 20.0% tea saponin aqueous solution was only 9.14%. Tea saponin had a feeding avoidance effect on C. formicarius, and the avoidance rate increased with the increase of tea saponin concentration. At 6 h, the feeding avoidance rates of 0.5%, 1.0%, 5.0%, 10.0% and 20.0% tea saponin on C. formicarius were 58.14%, 77.77%, 88.23%, 95.00% and 97.65 %, respectively;and the feeding avoidance effect at 6 h was significant, and the feeding avoidance rate was higher than that of 1 h. Tea saponin had a significant antifeedant effect on C. formicarius, and the longer the feeding time, the higher the antifeedant rate. At 72 h, the antifeedant rates of 0.5%, 1.0%, 5.0%, 10.0 % and 20.0% tea saponin to C. formicarius were 63.01%, 67.54%, 97.14 %, 96.42% and 98.57%, respectively. The larval development duration of C. formicarius was shortened with the increase of tea saponin concentration, and the larval death occurred. The development duration of larvae under the influence of 1.0% tea saponin was the shortest, which was 4.01 d shorter than that of the control, and the mortality was the highest, which was 26.65%. [Conclusions] Tea saponin had neither olfactory avoidance effect nor olfactory attracting effect to C. formicarius, but had obvious feeding avoidance effect and strong antifeedant effect.
