1U–Pb ages and Hf isotopes for detrital zircons from quartzite in the Paleoproterozoic Songshan Group on the southwestern margin of the North China Craton显示文摘In situ U-Pb dating and Lu-Hf isotopic analysis were carried out for detrital zircons from quartzite in the Paleoproterozoic Songshan Group on the southern margin of the North China Craton (NCC). The re- sults provide further constraints on the crustal formation and evolution history of NCC. Four 207Pb/206Pb age populations were obtained from 99 analyses, with clusters at ~3.40 Ga, 2.77―2.80 Ga, ~2.50 Ga and 2.34 Ga, respectively. The 3.40 Ga old zircons have similar Hf isotopic compositions to those from Ar- chean rocks in the Jidong and Anshan areas of NCC. However, crustal remnants older than 3.6 Ga have been identified in the southern margin of NCC, the South China Craton, the northwestern part of the Qinling Orogen and its adjacent area. Thus, it is not easy to trace the source rock from which the 3.40 Ga detrital zircons were derived. It can be inferred that the crustal remnants older than 3.40 Ga might have been widely distributed in the North China Craton. The 2.77―2.80 Ga zircons make up a relatively small proportion and have the highest εHf (t) values (up to 6.1±1.6), consistent with the Hf isotopic composition of the depleted mantle at 2.83 Ga. Their single-stage Hf model age of 2.83 Ga is close to their crystallized age, suggesting that their source rocks were extracted from the contemporaneous depleted mantle. The ~2.50 Ga zircon grains constitute about 85% of the total grain population and their Hf isotopic compositions indicate major growth of juvenile crust at ~2.50 Ga but minor reworking of ancient crust. 2A telomere-to-telomere gap-free reference genome of watermelon and its mutation library provide important resources for gene discovery and breeding显示文摘Watermelon,Citrullus lanatus,is the world's third largest fruit crop.Reference genomes with gaps and a narrow genetic base hinder functional genomics and genetic improvement of watermelon.Here,we report the assembly of a telomere-to-telomere gap-free genome of the elite watermelon inbred line G42 by incorporating high-coverage and accurate long-read sequencing data with multiple assembly strategies.All 11 chromosomes have been assembled into single-contig pseudomolecules without gaps,representing the highest completeness and assembly quality to date.The G42 reference genome is 369321829 bp in length and contains 24205 predicted protein-coding genes,with all 22 telomeres and 11 centromeres characterized.Furthermore,we established a pollen-EMS mutagenesis protocol and obtained over 200000M1 seeds from G42.In a sampling pool,48 monogenic phenotypic mutations,selected from 223M1and 78 M2 mutants with morphological changes,were confirmed.The average mutation density was 1 SNP/1.69Mband1 indel/4.55 Mb per M1 plant and 1SNP/1.08Mb and 1 indel/6.25 Mb per M2 plant.Taking advantage of the gap-free G42 genome,8039 mutations from 32 plants sampled from M1 and M2 families were identified with 100%accuracy,whereas only 25% of the randomly selected mutations identified using the 97103v2 reference genome could be confirmed.Using this library and the gap-free genome,two genes responsible for elongated fruit shape and male sterility(CiMs1)were identified,both caused by a single basechange from G to A.The validated gap-free genome and its EMS mutation library provide invaluable resources for functional genomics and genetic improvement of watermelon.Yun Deng Shoucheng Liu Yilin Zhang Jingsheng Tan Xiaopeng Li Xiao Chu Binghua Xu Yao Tian Yudong Sun Bosheng Li YunbiXu Xing Wang Deng Hang He Xingping Zhang 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,8:9
3Preparation and Mechanical Properties of-SiC Nanoparticle Reinforced Aluminum Matrix Composite by a Multi-step Powder Metallurgy Process显示文摘β-SiC nanoparticle reinforced Al matrix(nano-SiCp/Al) composite was prepared by a multi- step powder metallurgy strategy including presureless sintering, hot compacting process and hot extrusion. The microstructures of the as-prepared composites were observed by scanning electronic microscopy(SEM), and the mechanical properties were characterized by tensile strength measurement and Brinell hardness test. The experimental results revealed that the tensile strength of the composite with the addition of 5wt%-SiC nanoprticles could be increased to 215 MPa, increasing by 110% compared with pure Al matrix. Comparative experiments reflected that the-SiC nanoprticles showed significant reinforcement effect than traditional-SiC micro-sized particles. 4Synthesis,insecticidal and acaricidal activities of novel 2-arylpyrroles显示文摘To search for novel 2-arylpyrroles with unique biological activities,a series of novel 2-arylpyrrole derivatives were designed and synthesized,and their structures were characterized by 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy,MS spectrometry,and elemental analysis.Their insecticidal activities against Lepidopteran pests (e.g.Mythimna separata) and acaricidal activities against mites (e.g.Tetranychus urticae) were evaluated.The results of bioassays indicate that some of these title compounds exhibited excellent insecticidal and acaricidal activities.For example,4-bromo-1-((chloromethoxy)methyl)-2-(4-chloro phenyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrrole-3-carbonitrile (6a),4-bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-((2-fluoroethoxy)-methyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrrole-3-carbonitrile (6d) showed insecticidal activity against Mythimna separata and 4-bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)1-((isopropoxymethoxy)methyl)-5-(trifluoro methyl)pyrrole-3-carbonitrile (7d) showed acaricidal activity against Tetranychus urticae.They were more effective than Chlorfenapyr,which has been the only commercialized member of a new class of chemicals of 2-arylpyrroles.LIU AiPing TANG Ming YU ShuYing LIU XingPing WANG XiaoGuang PEI Hui WU DaoXin HU Li OU XiaoMing HUANG MingZhi 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,1:5

6CFD simulation study of the effect of baffles on the fluidized bed for hydrogenation of silicon tetrachloride显示文摘In this study,the effect of channel baffles and louver baffles on the flow pattern in the large-scale industrial fluidized beds was studied by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)methods.Then,the effect of flow pattern on the chemical reaction performance was studied for the first time.Simulation results showed that the gas velocity distributed more uniformly,solid particles dispersed more homogeneously and aggregation scarcely occurred in the fluidized bed with louver baffles than that with channel baffles.The residence time distribution indicated that louver baffles remarkably suppressed gas back-mixing in comparison with channel baffles.The reasonable agreements of pressure distribution and reaction results between the simulation in the bed with channel baffles and the data on a large-scale industrial apparatus demonstrated the accuracy of the CFD model.The predicted conversion of SiCl_(4) in the bed with louver baffles(27.44%)was higher than that with channel baffles(22.69%),indicating that louver baffles markedly improved the performance of the fluidized bed.This study could provide useful information for future structural improvements of baffles in large-scale fluidized beds.Ning Liu Xingping Liu Fumin Wang Feng Xin Mingshuai Sun Yi Zhai Xubin Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,5:2

12Study of Fractal Characteristics of the Cementation Index in Shale Gas显示文摘The description of pores and fracture structures is a consistently important issue and certainly a difficult problem, especially for shale or tight rocks. However, the exploitation of so-called unconventional energy, such as shale methane and tight-oil, has become more and more dependent on an understanding of the inner structure of these unconventional reservoirs. The inner structure of porous rocks is very difficult to describe quantitatively using normal mathematics, but fractal geometry, which is a powerful mathematical tool for describing irregularly-shaped objects, can be applied to these rocks. To some degree, the cementation index and tortuosity can be used to describe the complexity of these structures. The cementation index can be acquired through electro-lithology experiments, but, until now, tortuosity could not be quantitatively depicted. This research used the well-logging curves of a gas shale formation to reflect the characteristics of the rock formations, and the changes in the curves to indicate the changes of the rock matrix, the pores, the connections among the pores, the permeability, and the fluid type. The curves that are affected most by the rock lithology, such as gamma ray, acoustic logging, and deep resistivity curves, can provide significant information about the micro-or nanostructure of the rocks. If the rock structures have fractal characteristics, the logging curves will also have fractal properties. Based on the definition of a fractal dimension and the Hausdorff dimension, this paper presents a new methodology for calculating the fractal dimensions of logging curves. This paper also reveals the deep meaning of the rock cementation index, m, through the Hausdorff dimension, and provides a new equation to calculate this parameter through the resistivity and porosity of the formation. Although it represents a very important relationship between the saturation of hydrocarbons with pores and resistivity, the Archie formula was not available for shale and tight rock. The major reason for this was an incorrect understanding of the cementation index, and the calculation of saturation used a single m value from the bottom to the top of the well. Unfortunately, this processing method is clearly inappropriate for the intensely heterogeneous material that is shale and tight rock. 17Influences of Post-fires on Subsequent Population of Japanese Pine Sawyer Beetles, Monochamus alternatus Hope (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in Masson Pine Forests显示文摘[Objective]Both fire and insect outbreaks are considered as important natural disturbance factors in many forest ecosystems,yet few studies have addressed the effects of fires on subsequent insect outbreaks.[Method]In this paper,tree mortality,larval density and vertical distribution were measured through field investigation and sampling method to evaluate the short-term response of Japanese pine sawyer beetle,Monochamus alternatus Hope to Masson pine,Pinus massoniana Lamb.in the second year after the fire in Jiangxi Province,China.[Results]compared with unburned Masson pine forest,burned Masson pine forest suffered from higher tree mortality and more pine trees were attacked by M.alternatus.Burned Masson pine tended to harbor much higher larval density further up along the trunk than unburned pine trees,and most individuals distributed in the middle section and middle-lower section of the trunk.[Significance]The results confirmed that Masson pine forest after being damaged by non-lethal fires were more susceptible to attacks by Japanese pine sawyer beetles,displaying higher population density and higher vertical distribution position.The study will provide an important guideline for the managers of Masson pine forests suffering from fires and pest invaded areas.PAN Youliang CHANG Xiangqi LI Qiang LI Hongzheng CHEN Yuansheng LIU Xingping 2021生物灾害科学2021,44,2:0
18Analysis of functional hub genes indicates DLGAP5 is linked to lung adenocarcinoma prognosis显示文摘Introduction:The difficulty in treating lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)is caused by a shortage of knowledge about the biological mechanisms and a lack of treatment choices.Objectives:The aim of this study was to identify a valuable molecular target for the treatment of LUAD.Methods:Using multiple databases,we screened for hub genes in LUAD using Cytoscape and explored the expression and prognosis of DLG associated protein 5(DLGAP5)in LUAD.We investigated the genetic variation,functional enrichment,and epigenetic activity of DLGAP5.Furthermore,we evaluated the relationship between the tumor microenvironment(TME)and DLGAP5.Results:Our study identified 10 hub genes in LUAD:CDC45,KIAA0101,DLGAP5,CDT1,NCAPG,CCNB1,CDCA5,CDC20,KIF11,and AURKA.We discovered that DLGAP5 was overexpressed and associated with poor prognosis in LUAD.DLGAP5 exhibited an overall genetic variation frequency of 2%,and its DNA promoter was hypomethylated in LUAD(p<0.05).The expression of DLGAP5 in LUAD showed a positive correlation with the majority of N6-methyladenosine(m6A)-methylation genes.Additionally,DLGAP5 was primarily associated with the cell cycle in LUAD.Notably,there was a significant favorable association between DLGAP5 and CD274,CTLA4,HAVCR2,and LAG3 in LUAD.Conclusion:DLGAP5 may be a therapeutic target for LUAD,as it affects cancer cells proliferation and development through the regulation of cell-cycle checkpoints and modulation of immune cell infiltration and immune checkpoints in the TME.HAOSHENG ZHENG RUIJUN LIN WEIJIE CAI YUZHEN ZHENG XINGPING YANG ZUI LIU FEI QIN YONGJIE CAI XIANYU QIN HONGYING LIAO 2023BIOCELL2023,47,11:0
19Watermelon domestication was shaped by stepwise selection and regulation of the metabolome显示文摘Although crop domestication has greatly aided human civilization,the sequential domestication and regulation of most quality traits remain poorly understood.Here,we report the stepwise selection and regulation of major fruit quality traits that occurred during watermelon evolution.The levels of fruit cucurbitacins and flavonoids were negatively selected during speciation,whereas sugar and carotenoid contents were positively selected during domestication.Interestingly,fruit malic acid and citric acid showed the opposite selection trends during the improvement.We identified a novel gene cluster(CGC1,cucurbitacin gene cluster on chromosome 1)containing both regulatory and structural genes involved in cucurbitacin biosynthesis,which revealed a cascade of transcriptional regulation operating mechanisms.In the CGC1,an allele caused a single nucleotide change in Cl ERF1 binding sites(GCC-box)in the promoter of Cl Bh1,which resulted in reduced expression of Cl Bh1 and inhibition of cucurbitacin synthesis in cultivated watermelon.Functional analysis revealed that a rare insertion of 244 amino acids,which arose in C.amarus and became fixed in sweet watermelon,in Cl OSC(oxidosqualene cyclase)was critical for the negative selection of cucurbitacins during watermelon evolution.This research provides an important resource for metabolomics-assisted breeding in watermelon and for exploring metabolic pathway regulation mechanisms.Pingli Yuan Congping Xu Nan He Xuqiang Lu Xingping Zhang Jianli Shang Hongju Zhu Chengsheng Gong Hanhui Kuang Tang Tang Yong Xu Shuangwu Ma Dexi Sun Weiqin Zhang Muhammad J.Umer Jian Shi Alisdair R.Fernie Wenge Liu Jie Luo 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,3:0
20Comparison of Photosynthetic Physiological Characteristics and Yield of Watermelon Varieties with Diff erent Resistance to Fusarium Wilt显示文摘With the continuous development of facilities and horticulture, the area of vegetable planting in facilities increased year by year. Watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris Schrad) as the main cultivars within the facility, the continuous cropping problem is very serious, resulting in continuous cropping obstacles become increasingly obvious, the incidence of fusarium wilt increased year by year. Grafted watermelon roots developed to improve the growth of grafted roots of the conditions, resulting in robust plant growth. At the same time, the use of diff erent purposes of the rootstock can make watermelon in diff erent soil conditions under normal growth, such as the use of low temperature, drought, salt tolerance, barren and other characteristics of the rootstock. Secondly, the rootstock of the strong absorption of water absorption capacity, to promote the growth of grafted watermelon plants strong, large watermelon fruit, high yields. In addition, grafted watermelon seedlings grow fast early, for early maturing cultivation and overcome the seedless watermelon early growth slow defects is extremely favorable. So the use of pumpkin as a watermelon grafting rootstock, can eff ectively improve the eff ect of watermelon resistance to Fusarium wilts. And provide the theoretical basis and scientific basis for the further study of photosynthetic characteristics, disease resistance breeding and eff ective control of watermelon. In this experiment, the watermelon varieties with diff erent resistance to fusarium wilt were selected, and the anti-fusarium wilt watermelon was studied systematically. There are changes in physiological characteristics during growth and development.
