| 1 | The spatial distribution of forest carbon sinks and sources in China显示文摘Forest ecosystems play an important role in the global carbon cycle.The implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC) and the Kyoto Protocol has made the study of forest ecosystem carbon cycling a hot topic of scientific research globally.This paper utilized Chinese national forest inventory data sets(for the periods 1984-1988 and 1999-2003),the vegetation map of China(1:1000000),and the spatially explicit net primary productivity(NPP) data sets derived with the remote sensing-based light use efficiency model(CASA model).We quantitatively estimated the spatial distribution of carbon sinks and sources of forest vegetation(with a resolution of 1 km) using the spatial downscaling technique.During the period 1984 to 2003 the forest vegetation in China represented a carbon sink.The total storage of carbon increased by 0.77 PgC,with a mean of 51.0TgCa 1.The total carbon sink was 0.88PgC and carbon source was 0.11 PgC during the study period.The carbon sink and carbon source of forest vegetation in China showed a clear spatial distribution pattern.Carbon sinks were mainly located in subtropical and temperate regions,with the highest values in Hainan Province,Hengduan mountain ranges,Changbai mountain ranges in Jilin,and south and northwest of the Da Hinggan Mountains;carbon sources were mainly distributed from the northeast to southwestern areas in China,with the highest values mainly concentrated in southern Yunnan Province,central Sichuan Basin,and northern Da Hinggan Mountains.Increase in NPP was strongly correlated with carbon sink strength.The regression model showed that more than 80% of the variation in the modeled carbon sinks in Northeast,Northern,Northwest and Southern China were explained by the variation in NPP increase.There was a strong relationship between carbon sink strength and forest stand age. | LIU ShuangNa ZHOU Tao WEI LinYan SHU Yang | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,14: | 27 |
| 2 | Shift control method for the local time at descendi ngnode based on sun-synchronous orbit satellite显示文摘This article analyzes the shift factors of the descending node local time for sun-synchronous satellites and proposes a shift control method to keep the local time shift within an allowance range. It is found that the satellite orbit design and the orbit injection deviation are the causes for the initial shift velocity, whereas the atmospheric drag and the sun gravitational perturbation produce the shift acceleration. To deal with these shift factors, a shift control method is put forward, through such methods as orbit variation design, orbit altitude, and inclination keeping control. | 3 | Bacillus licheniformis PF9 improves barrier function and alleviates inflammatory responses against enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli F4 infection in the porcine intestinal epithelial cells显示文摘Background:Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli(ETEC)F4 commonly colonizes the small intestine and releases enterotoxins that impair the intestinal barrier function and trigger inflammatory responses.Although Bacillus licheniformis(B.licheniformis)has been reported to enhance intestinal health,it remains to be seen whether there is a functional role of B.licheniformis in intestinal inflammatory response in intestinal porcine epithelial cell line(IPEC-J2)when stimulated with ETEC F4.Methods:In the present study,the effects of B.licheniformis PF9 on the release of pro-inflammation cytokines,cell integrity and nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)activation were evaluated in ETEC F4-induced IPEC-J2 cells.Results:B.licheniformis PF9 treatment was capable of remarkably attenuating the expression levels of inflammation cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-8,and IL-6 during ETEC F4 infection.Furthermore,the gene expression of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)-mediated upstream related genes of NF-κB signaling pathway has been significantly inhibited.These changes were accompanied by significantly decreased phosphorylation of p65 NF-κB during ETEC F4 infection with B.licheniformis PF9 treatment.The immunofluorescence and western blotting analysis revealed that B.licheniformis PF9 increased the expression levels of zona occludens 1(ZO-1)and occludin(OCLN)in ETEC F4-infected IPEC-J2 cells.Meanwhile,the B.licheniformis PF9 could alleviate the injury of epithelial barrier function assessed by the trans-epithelial electrical resistance(TEER)and cell permeability assay.Interestingly,B.licheniformis PF9 protect IPEC-J2 cells against ETEC F4 infection by decreasing the gene expressions of virulence-related factors(including luxS,estA,estB,and elt)in ETEC F4.Conclusions:Collectively,our results suggest that B.licheniformis PF9 might reduce inflammation-related cytokines through blocking the NF-κB signaling pathways.Besides,B.licheniformis PF9 displayed a significant role in the enhancement of IPEC-J2 cell integrity. | Qiao Li Linyan Li Yanhong Chen Changning Yu Paula Azevedo Joshua Gong Chengbo Yang | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 4 |
| 4 | Synthesis,characterization and cell imaging properties of rare earth compounds based on hydroxamate ligand显示文摘Six binuclear rare earth compounds were synthesized through the ligand of 4-Bromo-N-hydroxy-Nmethyl-benzamide(sH_2 bha). Compounds 1-3 are isomorphous, and compound 1 is crystallized in the monoclinic system with the P2_1/c space group. Compounds 4 and 5 are isomorphous, and compound 4 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. Compound 6 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. The compounds were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and IR spectroscopy. The fluorescence spectrum in the visible area shows characteristic peaks of Eu, Tb, and Dy compounds. The efficiency of Eu compound on the viability of PC3 cells was assessed using CCK8 assays. From the CCK8 results, ionic concentration may have a great effect on PC3 cells' proliferation. Eu compound shows red fluorescence in the cytoplasm of PC3 cell. | 5 | Identifying absorbable bioactive constituents of Yupingfeng Powder acting on COVID-19 through integration of UPLC-Q/TOF-MS and network pharmacology analysis显示文摘Objective:Yupingfeng Powder(YPF),a kind of preventative patent medicine,is chosen for treatment of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)due to its high frequency application in respiratory tract diseases,such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,asthma,respiratory tract infections,and pneumonia,with the advantage of reducing the relapse rate and the severity.However,the active components of YPF and the mechanisms of components affecting COVID-19 are unclear.This study aimed to determine active constituents and elucidate its potential mechanisms.Methods:Ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry(UPLCQ/TOF-MS)and liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(LC-QQQ-MS)were used to determine the components and absorbable constituents of YPF.Secondly,TCMSP,Drugbank,Swiss and Pharm Mapper were used to search the targets of absorbable bioactive constituents of YPF,and the targets of COVID-19 were identified based on Gene Cards and OMIM databases.STRING database was used to filter the possible inter-protein interactions.Thirdly,Gene Ontology(GO)enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathways analysis were performed to identify molecular function and systemic involvement of target genes.Results:A total of 61 components of YPF and 36 absorbable constituents were identified through UPLC-Q/TOF-MS.Wogonin,prim-O-glucosylcimifugin,5-O-methylvisamminol,astragalosideⅣand 5-Omethylvisamminol(hydroxylation)were vital constituents for the treatment of COVID-19,and RELA,TNF,IL-6,MAPK14 and MAPK8 ere recognized as key targets of YPF.The major metabolic reactions of the absorbed constituents of YPF were demethylation,hydroxylation,sulfation and glucuronidation.GO and KEGG pathway analysis further showed that the most important functions of YPF were T cell activation,response to molecule of bacterial origin,cytokine receptor binding,receptor ligand activity,cytokine activity,IL-17 signaling pathway,Chagas disease,lipid and atherosclerosis,etc.Conclusion:The approach of combining UPLC-Q/TOF-MS with network pharmacology is an effective tool to identify potentially bioactive constituents of YPF and its key targets on treatment of COVID-19. | Linyan Wang Zhongyan Du Yang Guan Bo Wang Yanling Pei Lizong Zhang Mingsun Fang | 2022 | Chinese Herbal Medicines2022,14,2: | 3 |

| 12 | Residual Feature Attentional Fusion Network for Lightweight Chest CT Image Super-Resolution显示文摘The diagnosis of COVID-19 requires chest computed tomography(CT).High-resolution CT images can provide more diagnostic information to help doctors better diagnose the disease,so it is of clinical importance to study super-resolution(SR)algorithms applied to CT images to improve the reso-lution of CT images.However,most of the existing SR algorithms are studied based on natural images,which are not suitable for medical images;and most of these algorithms improve the reconstruction quality by increasing the network depth,which is not suitable for machines with limited resources.To alleviate these issues,we propose a residual feature attentional fusion network for lightweight chest CT image super-resolution(RFAFN).Specifically,we design a contextual feature extraction block(CFEB)that can extract CT image features more efficiently and accurately than ordinary residual blocks.In addition,we propose a feature-weighted cascading strategy(FWCS)based on attentional feature fusion blocks(AFFB)to utilize the high-frequency detail information extracted by CFEB as much as possible via selectively fusing adjacent level feature information.Finally,we suggest a global hierarchical feature fusion strategy(GHFFS),which can utilize the hierarchical features more effectively than dense concatenation by progressively aggregating the feature information at various levels.Numerous experiments show that our method performs better than most of the state-of-the-art(SOTA)methods on the COVID-19 chest CT dataset.In detail,the peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)is 0.11 dB and 0.47 dB higher on CTtest1 and CTtest2 at×3 SR compared to the suboptimal method,but the number of parameters and multi-adds are reduced by 22K and 0.43G,respectively.Our method can better recover chest CT image quality with fewer computational resources and effectively assist in COVID-19. | Kun Yang Lei Zhao Xianghui Wang Mingyang Zhang Linyan Xue Shuang Liu Kun Liu | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6: | 1 |

| 15 | Evaluating the effectiveness of using ClO_2 bleaching as substitution of traditional Cl_2 on PCDD/F reduction in a non-wood pulp and paper mill using reeds as raw materials显示文摘The effectiveness of ClO_2 bleaching as a replacement for conventional Cl_2 bleaching,which is intensively practiced in developing countries,to reduce polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)in non-wood pulp and paper mills has not been field tested.The first field study was performed to investigate PCDD/F variations when ClO_2 bleaching was used as a substitute for conventional Cl_2 bleaching in a non-wood pulp and paper mill.It was found that the PCDD/F toxic equivalents(TEQs)in solid and effluent samples were approximately 1.3–14.9 times lower when ClO_2 bleaching was used instead of the conventional Cl_2 bleaching.2,3,7,8-Substituted tetrachlorinated dibenzofurans(2,3,7,8-TCDF)were the dominant contributors to total PCDD/F TEQs in samples from the investigated mill when using conventional Cl_2 bleaching.The formation amounts of 2,3,7,8-TCDF were reduced from 1.56–2.76 pg TEQ/g to 0.02–0.32 pg TEQ/g in solid samples when ClO_2 bleaching was used instead of the conventional Cl_2 bleaching.The replacement of Cl_2 with ClO_2 might decrease the chlorination reactions of dibenzofuran as potential precursors,and thus reduce the formation amounts of 2,3,7,8-TCDF.The results could provide important knowledge for suggesting the best available technique for PCDD/F reduction for non-wood pulp and paper mills in developing countries. | Lili Yang Liping Fang Linyan Huang Yuyang Zhao Guorui Liu | 2018 | Green Energy & Environment2018,3,3: | 0 |

| 17 | Multi-Classification of Polyps in Colonoscopy Images Based on an Improved Deep Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘Achieving accurate classification of colorectal polyps during colonoscopy can avoid unnecessary endoscopic biopsy or resection.This study aimed to develop a deep learning model that can automatically classify colorectal polyps histologically on white-light and narrow-band imaging(NBI)colonoscopy images based on World Health Organization(WHO)and Workgroup serrAted polypS and Polyposis(WASP)classification criteria for colorectal polyps.White-light and NBI colonoscopy images of colorectal polyps exhibiting pathological results were firstly collected and classified into four categories:conventional adenoma,hyperplastic polyp,sessile serrated adenoma/polyp(SSAP)and normal,among which conventional adenoma could be further divided into three sub-categories of tubular adenoma,villous adenoma and villioustublar adenoma,subsequently the images were re-classified into six categories.In this paper,we proposed a novel convolutional neural network termed Polyp-DedNet for the four-and six-category classification tasks of colorectal polyps.Based on the existing classification network ResNet50,Polyp-DedNet adopted dilated convolution to retain more high-dimensional spatial information and an Efficient Channel Attention(ECA)module to improve the classification performance further.To eliminate gridding artifacts caused by dilated convolutions,traditional convolutional layers were used instead of the max pooling layer,and two convolutional layers with progressively decreasing dilation were added at the end of the network.Due to the inevitable imbalance of medical image data,a regularization method DropBlock and a Class-Balanced(CB)Loss were performed to prevent network overfitting.Furthermore,the 5-fold cross-validation was adopted to estimate the performance of Polyp-DedNet for the multi-classification task of colorectal polyps.Mean accuracies of the proposed Polyp-DedNet for the four-and six-category classifications of colorectal polyps were 89.91%±0.92%and 85.13%±1.10%,respectively.The metrics of precision,recall and F1-score were also improved by 1%∼2%compared to the baseline ResNet50.The proposed Polyp-DedNet presented state-of-the-art performance for colorectal polyp classifying on white-light and NBI colonoscopy images,highlighting its considerable potential as an AI-assistant system for accurate colorectal polyp diagnosis in colonoscopy. | Shuang Liu Xiao Liu Shilong Chang Yufeng Sun Kaiyuan Li Ya Hou Shiwei Wang Jie Meng Qingliang Zhao Sibei Wu Kun Yang Linyan Xue | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6: | 0 |
| 18 | miR-199a-5p from bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell exosomes promotes the proliferation of neural stem cells by targeting GSK-3β显示文摘Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell(BMSC)-derived exosomes are a promising therapeutic agent for human disease,but their effects on neural stem cells(NSCs)subject to spinal cord ischaemia-reperfusion injury(SCIRI)remain unknown.Here,we examine the impact of miR-199a-5p-enriched exosomes derived from BMSCs on NSC proliferation.We establish a rat model of aortic cross-clamping to induce SCIRI in vivo and a primary NSC model of oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation(OGD/R)to simulate SCIRI in vitro.CCK8,EdU,and BrdU assays are performed to evaluate the proliferation of NSCs.Hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)staining is used to determine the number of surviving neurons.The Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan(BBB)scale and inclined plane test(IPT)are used to evaluate hind limb motor function.DiO-labelled exosomes are efficiently internalized by NSCs and increase ectopic amounts of miR-199a-5p,which promotes the proliferation of NSCs.In contrast,exosomes derived from miR-199a-5p-depleted BMSCs exert fewer beneficial effects.MiR-199a-5p targets and negatively regulates glycogen synthase kinase 3β(GSK-3β)and increases nuclearβ-catenin and cyclin D1 levels.miR-199a-5p inhibition reduces the total number of EdU-positive NSCs after OGD/R,but the GSK-3βinhibitor CHIR-99021 reverses this effect.In vivo,intrathecal injection of BMSC-derived exosomes increases the proliferation of endogenous spinal cord NSCs after SCIRI.In addition,more proliferating NSCs are found in rats intrathecally injected with exosomes overexpressing miR-199a-5p.In summary,miR-199a-5p in BMSC-derived exosomes promotes NSC proliferation via GSK-3β/β-catenin signaling. | Yi Yang Yuanyuan Li Shaoqiong Zhang Linyan Cao Yansong Zhang Bo Fang | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,5: | 0 |

| 20 | Using MsfNet to Predict the ISUP Grade of Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma in Digital Pathology Images显示文摘Clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC)represents the most frequent form of renal cell carcinoma(RCC),and accurate International Society of Urological Pathology(ISUP)grading is crucial for prognosis and treatment selection.This study presents a new deep network called Multi-scale Fusion Network(MsfNet),which aims to enhance the automatic ISUP grade of ccRCC with digital histopathology pathology images.The MsfNet overcomes the limitations of traditional ResNet50 by multi-scale information fusion and dynamic allocation of channel quantity.The model was trained and tested using 90 Hematoxylin and Eosin(H&E)stained whole slide images(WSIs),which were all cropped into 320×320-pixel patches at 40×magnification.MsfNet achieved a micro-averaged area under the curve(AUC)of 0.9807,a macro-averaged AUC of 0.9778 on the test dataset.The Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM)visually demonstrated MsfNet’s ability to distinguish and highlight abnormal areas more effectively than ResNet50.The t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding(t-SNE)plot indicates our model can efficiently extract critical features from images,reducing the impact of noise and redundant information.The results suggest that MsfNet offers an accurate ISUP grade of ccRCC in digital images,emphasizing the potential of AI-assisted histopathological systems in clinical practice. | Kun Yang Shilong Chang Yucheng Wang Minghui Wang Jiahui Yang Shuang Liu Kun Liu Linyan Xue | 2024 | Computers, Materials & Continua2024,78,1: | 0 |
