1Cd3(C3N3S3)2 coordination polymer/graphene nanoarchitectures for enhanced photocatalytic H2O2 production under visible light显示文摘For a long time, there has been global concern over the environment and energy problems. Recently, the problems, which have brought about serious effect on the global living condition, have been in the ‘‘spotlight' and given impetus to the universal's efforts to head for the same direction: stem the worst warming and strive for the renewable energy source. Hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) is undoubtedly a good choice,which holds the promise as a clean, efficient, safe and transferrable energy carrier. Octahedral coordination polymer, Cd_3(C_3N_3S_3)_2, was found to be a robust photocatalyst for H_2O_2 generation under visible light irradiation. To further improve the H_2O_2 generation efficiency, adhering the octahedron to reduced graphene(rGO) was applied as the strategy herein. The study shows that by adhering Cd_3(C_3N_3S_3)_2to rGO, the formation of H_2O_2 is 2.5-fold enhanced and its deformation is concurrently suppressed. 2Growth mechanism of palladium clusters on rutile TiO_2 (110) surface显示文摘Oxide-supported transition metal systems have been the subject of enormous interest due to the improvement of catalytic properties relative to the separate metal.Thus in this paper,we embark on a systematic study for Pd n (n=1-5) clusters adsorbed on TiO2 (110) surface based on DFT-GGA calculations utilizing periodic supercell models.A single Pd adatom on the defect-free surface prefers to adsorb at a hollow site bridging a protruded oxygen and a five-fold titanium atom along the [110] direction,while Pd dimer is located on the channels with the Pd-Pd bond parallel to the surface.According to the transition states (TSs) search,the adsorbed Pd trimer tends to triangular growth mode,rather than linear mode,while the Pd4 and Pd5 clusters prefer three-dimensional (3D) models.However,the oxygen vacancy has almost no influence on the promotion of Pd n cluster nucleation.Additionally,of particular significance is that the Pd-TiO2 interaction is the main driving force at the beginning of Pd nucleation,whereas the Pd-Pd interaction gets down to control the growth process of Pd cluster as the cluster gets larger.It is hoped that our theoretical study would shed light on further designing high-performance TiO2 supported Pd-based catalysts.Weina Zhao Huaxiang Lin Yi Li Yongfan Zhang Xin Huang Wenkai Chen 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,5:3

6Identification of rare PTCH1 nonsense variant causing orofacial cleft in a Chinese family and an up-to-date genotype- phenotype analysis显示文摘The Patched 1(PTCH1)gene encodes a membrane receptor involved in the Hedge-hog(Hh)signaling pathway,an abnormal state of which may result in congenital defects or hu-man tumors.In this study,we conducted whole-exome sequencing on a three-generation Chinese family characterized with variable penetrance of orofacial clefts.A rare heterozygous variant in the PTCH1 gene(c.2833C>T p.R945X)was identified as a disease-associated mutation.Structural modeling revealed a truncation starting from the middle of the second extracellular domain of PTCH1 protein.This may damage its ligand recognition and sterol transportation abilities,thereby affecting the Hh signaling pathway.Biochemical assays indi-cated that the R945X protein had reduced stability compared to the wild-type in vitro.In addi-tion,we reviewed the locations and mutation types of PTCH1 variants in individuals with clefting phenotypes,and analyzed the associations between clefts and locations or types of variants within PTCH1.Our findings provide further evidence that PTCH1 variants result in or-ofacial clefts,and contributed to genetic counseling and clinical surveillance in this family.Wenjie Zhong Huaxiang Zhao Wenbin Huang Mengqi Zhang Qian Zhang Yue Zhang Chong Chen Zulihumaer Nueraihemaiti Dilifeire Tuerhong Huizhe Huang Gulibaha Maimaitili Feng Chen Jiuxiang Lin 2021Genes & Diseases2021,8,5:1

9A novel FZD6 mutation revealed the cause of cleft lip and/or palate in a Chinese family显示文摘Cleft lip and/or palate(CL/P)is a most common craniofacial birth defect which has multifactorial etiology.In our study,we aimed to discover the underlying etiological gene variation in a Chinese family diagnosed as non-syndromic CL/P(NSCL/P).The blood sample of the proband and her parents were detected by whole exome sequencing.The Mendelian inheritance pattern,allele frequency,variation location,function analysis and literature search were applied to filtrate and screen the mutation.Besides,the candidates were confirmed by Sanger sequencing.We meanwhile explored the conservative analysis and protein homology simulation.As a result,a start-lost mutation c.1A>GAtg/Gtg in the Frizzled-6(FZD6)gene predicting p.Met1 was detected.The variation has not been reported before and was predicted to be harmful.The alteration caused missing of two starting amino acids that are evolutionarily conserved for FZD6 protein.Moreover,the specific structure of the mutant protein obviously changed according to the results of the homologous model.In conclusion,the results suggest c.1A>GAtg/Gtg in the FZD6(NM_001164616)might be the genetic etiology for non-syndromic CL/P in this pedigree.Furthermore,this finding provided new etiologic information,supplementing the evidence that FZD6 is a strong potential gene for CL/P.Jieni Zhang Huaxiang Zhao Wenbin Huang Fengqi Song Wenjie Zhong Mengqi Zhang Yunfan Zhang Zhibo Zhou Jiuxiang Lin Feng Chen 2020Genes & Diseases2020,7,3:0
10PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF DOXORUBICIN-LOADED MAGNETIC ANTICANCER NANOPARTICLES显示文摘Doxorubicin(ADM)-loaded magnetic anticancer nanoparticles,using Fe3O4 as core, doxorubicin as model drug and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as matrix, were prepared by inverse emulsion polymerization. The experimental results showed that the average diameter of Fe3O4 particles was 19.8nm. The X-ray diffraction indicated that the prepared Fe3O4 particle was pure cubic Fe3O4. The results obtained by SEM showed the magnetic nanoparticles under optimal operating condition had a smooth spherical surface , LLS showed an average size of 78.7nm. 11THE PREPARATION OF DOXORUBICIN-POLYVINYLPYRROLIDONE-NANOPARTICLES BY INVERSE EMULSION POLYMERIZATION显示文摘Doxorubicin-loaded nanoparticles,using doxorubicin(ADM)as model drug and vinylpyrrolidone as matrix,were prepared by inverse emulsion polymerization in the paper.The nanoparticles were characterized by telescope electron microscopy(TEM),laser light scattering technique(LLS)and infrared spectrum(IR).LLS test showed that the optimal prepared ADM-loaded nanoparticles had an average size 18.8nm and a narrow size distribution between 15nm and 32nm,which was consistent with the result obtained by TEM.And IR results indicated that the nanoparticles consisted of ADM and polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP).LV Fengjiao LIN Huaxiang XU Xiaoping CHEN Xiaogeng 2006Chinese Journal of Reactive Polymers2006,15,1:0
12Rare loss-of-function variants in FLNB cause non-syndromic orofacial clefts显示文摘Orofacial clefts (OFCs) are the most common congenital craniofacial disorders, of which the etiology is closely related to rare coding variants. Filamin B (FLNB) is an actin-binding protein implicated in bone formation. FLNB mutations have been identified in several types of syndromic OFCs and previous studies suggest a role of FLNB in the onset of non-syndromic OFCs (NSOFCs). Here, we report two rare heterozygous variants (p.P441T and p.G565R) in FLNB in two unrelated hereditary families with NSOFCs. Bioinformatics analysis suggests that both variants may disrupt the function of FLNB. In mammalian cells, p.P441T and p.G565R variants are less potent to induce cell stretches than wild type FLNB, suggesting that they are loss-of-function mutations. Immunohistochemistry analysis demonstrates that FLNB is abundantly expressed during palatal development. Importantly, Flnb^(−/−) embryos display cleft palates and previously defined skeletal defects. 13A novel index system describing program runtime characteristics for workload consolidation显示文摘Workload consolidation is a common method to improve the resource utilization in clusters or data centers. In order to achieve efficient workload consolidation, the runtime characteristics of a program should be taken into con-sideration in scheduling. In this paper, we propose a novel index system for efficiently describing the program runtime characteristics. With the help of this index system, programs can be classified by the following runtime characteristics: 1) dependence to multi-dimensional resources including CPU, disk I/O, memory and network I/O;and 2) impact and vulnerability to resource sharing embodied by resource usage and resource sensitivity. In order to verify the effectiveness of this novel index system in workload consolidation, a scheduling strategy, Sche-index, using the new index system for workload consolidation is proposed.
