2Role of Co Content on Densification and Microstructure of WC–Co Cemented Carbides Prepared by Selective Laser Melting显示文摘WC–Co cemented carbides, well-known as the conventional tooling materials, have not been successfully produced by one step additive manufacturing processes such as selective laser melting(SLM) yet. The microstructure evolution as well as WC grain growth behavior has rarely been investigated in detail during SLM process. In this study, the WC–Co cemented carbides with different Co contents(12–32 wt%) were prepared by optimized SLM processes for comparative investigation of densification behavior, microstructure characterization and mechanical property. The increase in Co content in feedstock carbide granules can improve the densification behavior during SLM process. The SLM processed WC-12 Co shows larger average WC grain size and higher percentage of coarser WC grains as compared with both WC-20 Co and WC-32 Co. The microstructure characterization, combined with finite element simulation, shows the WC grain growth mechanisms include agglomeration and dissolution-deposition of WC during SLM process and agglomeration of WC is an important mechanism especially for WC–Co cemented carbides with Co content as low as 12 wt%. 3Effect of MgO promoter on Ni-based SBA-15 catalysts for combined steam and carbon dioxide reforming of methane显示文摘A series of Ni/SBA-15 catalysts with Ni contents ranging from 5 wt% to 15 wt%, as well as another series of 10%Ni/MgO/SBA-15 catalysts, in which the range of the MgO content was from 1 wt% to 7 wt%, were prepared, and their catalytic performances for the reaction of combined steam and carbon dioxide reforming of methane were investigated in a continuous flow microreactor. The structures of the catalysts were characterized using the XRD, H2-TPR and CO2-TPD techniques. The results indicated that the CO selectivity for this reaction was very close to 100%, and the H2/CO ratio of the product gas could be controlled by changing the H2O/CO2 molar ratio of the feed gas. The simultaneous and plentiful existing of steam and CO2 had a significant influence on the catalytic performance of the 10%Ni/SBA-15 catalyst without modification. After reacting at 850 °C for 120 h over this catalyst, the CH4 conversion dropped from 98% to 85%, and the CO2 conversion decreased from 86% to 53%. However, the 10%Ni/3%MgO/SBA-15 catalyst exhibited a much better catalytic performance, and after reacting for 620 h, the CO2 conversion over this catalyst dropped from 92% to around 77%, while the CH4 conversion was not decreased. Oxidation of the Ni0 species as well as carbon deposition during the reaction were the main reasons for the deactivation of the catalyst without modification. 5Graphene-driving strain engineering to enable strain-free epitaxy of AlN film for deep ultraviolet light-emitting diode显示文摘The energy-efficient deep ultraviolet(DUV)optoelectronic devices suffer from critical issues associated with the poor quality and large strain of nitride material system caused by the inherent mismatch of heteroepitaxy.In this work,we have prepared the strain-free AlN film with low dislocation density(DD)by graphene(Gr)-driving strain-pre-store engineering and a unique mechanism of strain-relaxation in quasi-van der Waals(QvdW)epitaxy is presented.The DD in AlN epilayer with Gr exhibits an anomalous sawtooth-like evolution during the whole epitaxy process.Gr can help to enable the annihilation of the dislocations originated from the interface between AlN and Gr/sapphire by impelling a lateral two-dimensional growth mode.Remarkably,it can induce AlN epilayer to pre-store sufficient tensile strain during the early growth stage and thus compensate the compressive strain caused by hetero-mismatch.Therefore,the low-strain state of the DUV light-emitting diode(DUV-LED)epitaxial structure is realized on the strain-free AlN template with Gr.Furthermore,the DUV-LED with Gr demonstrate 2.1 times enhancement of light output power and a better stability of luminous wavelength compared to that on bare sapphire.An in-depth understanding of this work reveals diverse beneficial impacts of Gr on nitride growth and provides a novel strategy of relaxing the vital requirements of hetero-mismatch in conventional heteroepitaxy.Hongliang Chang Zhetong Liu Shenyuan Yang Yaqi Gao Jingyuan Shan Bingyao Liu Jingyu Sun Zhaolong Chen Jianchang Yan Zhiqiang Liu Junxi Wang Peng Gao Jinmin Li Zhongfan Liu Tongbo Wei 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5:1

9Photostable lysosomal imaging of living cell with hyperspectral stimulated Raman scattering microscopy using a probe based on bisarylbutadiyne显示文摘We designed a lysosome-selective Raman probe by conjugating bisphenylbutadiyne with morpholine, a well-known lysosome targeting moiety. This probe, named Lyso-BADY, has a Raman peak 28 times more intense than that of 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine. Lysosome in living cells was successfully visualized by hyperspectral stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy with this extracellular probe. Further study showed that the Raman signal of Lyso-BADY remained steady and strong even after a prolonged irradiation time. 10Response of revegetation to climate change with meso- and micro-scale remote sensing in an arid desert of China显示文摘The revegetation protection system(VPS)on the edge of the Tengger Desert can be referred to as a successful model of sand control technology in China and even the world,and there has been a substantial amount of research on revegetation stability.However,it is unclear how meso-and micro-scale revegetation activity has responded to climatic change over the past decades.To evaluate the relative influence of climatic variables on revegetation activities in a restored desert ecosystem,we analysed the trend of revegetation change from 2002 to 2015 using a satellite-derived normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)dataset.The time series of the NDVI data were decomposed into trend,seasonal,and random components using a segmented regression method.The results of the segmented regression model indicate a changing trend in the NDVI in the VPS,changing from a decrease(−7×10−3/month)before 2005 to an increase(0.3×10−3/month)after 2005.We found that precipitation was the most important climatic factor influencing the growing season NDVI(P<0.05),while vegetation growth sensitivity to water and heat varied significantly in different seasons.In the case of precipitation reduction and warming in the study area,the NDVI of the VPS could still maintain an overall slow upward trend(0.04×10−3/month),indicating that the ecosystem is sustainable.Our findings suggest that the VPS has been successful in maintaining stability and sustainability under current climate change conditions and that it is possible to introduce the VPS in similar areas as a template for resistance to sand and drought hazards.Guang Song BingYao Wang JingYao Sun YanLi Wang XinRong Li 2021Research in Cold and Arid Regions2021,13,1:0

12Variation of soil physical-chemical characteristics in salt-affected soil in the Qarhan Salt Lake,Qaidam Basin显示文摘Soil salinization has adverse effects on the soil physical-chemical characteristics.However,little is known about the changes in soil salt ion concentrations and other soil physical-chemical characteristics within the Qarhan Salt Lake and at different soil depths in the surrounding areas.Here,we selected five sampling sites(S1,S2,S3,S4,and S5)alongside the Qarhan Salt Lake and in the Xidatan segment of the Kunlun Mountains to investigate the relationship among soil salt ion concentrations,soil physical-chemical characteristics,and environmental variables in April 2019.The results indicated that most sites had strongly saline and very strongly saline conditions.The main salt ions present in the soil were Na^(+),K^(+),and Cl^(-).Soil nutrients and soil microbial biomass(SMB)were significantly affected by the salinity(P<0.05).Moreover,soil salt ions(Na^(+),K^(+),Ca2+,Mg^(2+),Cl^(-),CO_(3)^(2-),SO_(4)^(2-),and HCO_(3)^(-))were positively correlated with electrical conductivity(EC)and soil water content(SWC),but negatively related to altitude and soil depth.Unlike soil salt ions,soil nutrients and SMB were positively correlated with altitude,but negatively related to EC and SWC.Moreover,soil nutrients and SMB were negatively correlated with soil salt ions.In conclusion,soil nutrients and SMB were mainly influenced by salinity,and were related to altitude,soil depth,and SWC in the areas from the Qarhan Salt Lake to the Xidatan segment.These results imply that the soil quality(mainly evaluated by soil physical-chemical characteristics)is mainly influenced by soil salt ions in the areas surrounding the Qarhan Salt Lake.Our results provide an accurate prediction of how the soil salt ions,soil nutrients,and SMB respond to the changes along a salt gradient.The underlying mechanisms controlling the soil salt ion distribution,soil nutrients,and SMB in an extremely arid desert climate playa should be studied in greater detail in the future.HUI Rong TAN Huijuan LI Xinrong WANG bingyao 2022Journal of Arid Land2022,14,3:0
13Additives enhancing supported amines performance in CO_(2)capture fromair显示文摘The utilization of supported amines as adsorbents in direct air capture(DAC)has been demonstrated to be a promising strategy for the reduction of CO_(2)emissions.To improve the performance of amine-based adsorbents,the incorporation of additives has been widely adopted.In the present study,we conduct a comprehensive comparison of seven additives on tetraethylenepentamine-impregnated mesoporous silica as a representative amine-based adsorbent.The results indicate thatminor molecularweight additiveswith hydroxyl groups show improved adsorption-desorption performance and increase oxidative stability.A proposed mechanism for these improvements is the combined physical and chemical promotion effects of hydroxyl groups.Through a comprehensive review of existing literature,it is found that the effects of additives on amine-based adsorbents are dependent on factors,such as additive type,pristine adsorbent properties,incorporation method,and testing conditions.Based on these findings,it is recommended that future DAC systems prioritize the use of hydroxyl-containing additives,whereas higher CO_(2)concentration and temperature capture may benefit from the incorporation of additives without hydroxyl groups.These conclusions are expected to contribute to the design of efficient adsorbents for CO_(2)capture.Yaozu Wang Yihe Miao Bingyao Ge Zhijun He Xuancan Zhu Shanke Liu Jia Li Lijun Yu 2023SusMat2023,3,3:0
14Okara Cellulose Nanofibrils Produced by Pretreatment with Sustainable Deep Eutectic Solvent Coupled with Various Mechanical Treatments显示文摘In this study,a green,environmentally friendly method for rapid cellulose nanofribril(CNF)preparation with a significant cost advantage was developed.Pretreatment with a deep eutectic solvent(DES)synthesized from oxalic acid dihydrate and choline chloride(ChCl-O)was combined with various mechanical treatment methods to produce okara CNFs from agricultural waste,with different diameter distributions.The results showed that high-speed stirring produced CNFs with an average diameter of 27 nm.This method was advantageous because it consumed about 94%less energy than traditional high-pressure homogenization method.The DES recovery rate was more than 90%,and DES served as a highly effective treatment,indicating that DES pretreatment is an economical,convenient,and effective strategy for okara CNF preparation.Peiyi Li Haozhe Lei Boxing Jian Ruiyan Liu Miaomiao Zhou Yumeng Wang Hezhen Liu Yun Wang Bingyao Zhou 2022Paper And Biomaterials2022,7,2:0
15The role of Cu crystallographic orientations towards growing superclean graphene on meter-sized scale显示文摘Chemical vapor deposition(CVD)-grown graphene films on Cu foils,exhibiting fine scalability and high quality,are still suffering from the adverse impact of surface contamination,i.e.,amorphous carbon.Despite the recent successful preparation of superclean graphene through Cu-vapor-assisted reactions,the formation mechanism of amorphous carbon remains unclear,especially with regard to the functions of substrates.Herein,we have found that the crystallographic orientations of underlying metal substrates would determine the cleanness of graphene in such a way that slower diffusion of active carbon species on asformed graphene-Cu(100)surface is the key factor that suppresses the formation of contamination.The facile synthesis of clean graphene is achieved on the meter-sized Cu(100)that is transformed from the polycrystalline Cu foils.Furthermore,a clean surface of graphene on Cu(100)ensures the reduction of transfer-related polymer residues,and enhanced optical and electrical performance,which allows for versatile applications of graphene in biosensors,functioning as flexible transparent electrodes.This work would offer a promising material platform for the fundamental investigation and create new opportunities for the advanced applications of high-quality graphene films.Xiaoting Liu Jincan Zhang Wendong Wang Wei Zhao Heng Chen Bingyao Liu Mengqi Zhang Fushun Liang Lijuan Zhang Rui Zhang Ning Li Yuexin Zhang Yuchen Liu Kaicheng Jia Luzhao Sun Yixuan Zhao Peng Gao Qinghong Yuan Li Lin Hailin Peng Zhongfan Liu 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:0
