2Surface Partial Discharge Characteristics of Oil-paper Insulation Under Combined AC-DC Voltage显示文摘The valve side windings of converter transformers bear AC, DC, impulse, and reversal-polarity voltages during operation, which could result in serious insulation problems of the equipment. By performing experiments with surface discharge model of oil-paper insula- tion at 80 ℃ under combined AC-DC voltage for 200 h, we studied the spectrums and statistical parameters of partial discharges at different discharge stages. Furthermore, some fingerprint parameters were calculated in order to estimate the development situation of par- tial discharge, while the characteristic gases dissolved in the transformer oil were measured by gas chromatography. The surface discharges in the experiments were observed using a high speed camera, and a full discharge process could be marked off into four stages as follows. ①The elementary stage. When a partial discharge occurs near electrodes, electrical charges are injected into the region near electrodes and causing bubble generation. ②Due to their high resistivity and low dielectric constant, the bubbles would bare the major part of the voltage applied to samples. Therefore, discharge happens inside the small bubbles, and it emits a lot of light. ③Micromolecules of gas are produced in discharge, and further ionization in the transformer oil takes place simultaneously when high-energy electrons collide with oil molecules. ④The carrier charge moves forward to electrodes driven by the applied electric field, till they neutralize with the charge from electrodes, and hence discharge channels are formed subsequently.SHA Yanchao ZHOU Yuanxiang NIE Dexin WU Zhirong DENG Jiangang LU Licheng 2013高电压技术2013,39,8:5
3A mini-review on the modeling of volatile organic compound adsorption in activated carbons: Equilibrium, dynamics, and heat effects显示文摘The research on the adsorption equilibria,kinetics,and increase in process temperature of the volatile organic compound(VOC)adsorption in porous materials ensures safe production,thereby reducing production costs and improving separation efficiency.Therefore,it is critical in predicting the entire adsorption process based on minimal or no experimental input of the adsorbate and adsorbent.We discuss,in this review,the factors that affect the adsorption performance of VOCs in activated carbons,including the adsorption equilibrium,adsorption kinetics,and exotherm during adsorption.Subsequently,the existing prediction models are summarized and compared concerning the adsorption equilibrium,adsorption kinetics,and exothermic process of adsorption.We then propose a new prediction model based on intermolecular interaction and provide an outlook toward the design and manipulation of efficient adsorbents for the VOC system.Shanshan Wang Liangliang Huang Yumeng Zhang Licheng Li Xiaohua Lu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,3:4
4The 2020–2021 prolonged La Niña evolution in the tropical Pacific显示文摘The evolution of sea surface temperature(SST)in the tropical Pacific during 2020–2021 indicates a second-year cooling in late 2021 again,following the 2020 La Niña event.Its physical explanations are still lacking,and there is a clear need to understand the underlying processes involved.Observational data and reanalysis products are used to describe the characteristics and spatiotemporal evolution of upper-ocean thermal anomalies;an intermediate coupled model(ICM)is also used to perform numerical experiments to confirm these observation-based inferences.The evolution of subsurface thermal anomalies is critically important to that of SST in the central-eastern equatorial Pacific;the effects of the former on the latter can be well represented by the temperature of subsurface waters entrained into the mixed layer(Te),a field that reflects a subsurface forcing on SST.The SST evolution is sensitively dependent on the intensities of the local effect associated with Te anomalies in the eastern equatorial Pacific and the remote effect associated with subsurface anomalies from the western Pacific.During early-and mid-2021,a competition was present between these local and remote effects associated with Te anomalies.When the remote warming effect dominates the local cooling effect,the cold SST condition in the east is likely to turn into neutral and warm conditions;otherwise,it tends to continue.In addition,the negative Te anomalies were sustained and enhanced by off-equatorial processes due to equatorial wave reflections at the eastern boundary associated with the 2020 La Niña event.The SST evolution in mid-2021 corresponded to a situation in which the warming effect associated with positive subsurface thermal anomalies from the west were not strong enough to counteract the local cooling effect associated with negative anomalies in the east.In due course,cold SST anomalies in the east developed again and the second-year cooling reoccurred in late 2021,with a turning point in June 2021.Modeling experiments support these arguments and indicate that the intensity of subsurface thermal effect on SST,as represented by Te anomalies,needs to be adequately depicted for coupled models to capture the 2021 second-year cooling conditions in the tropical Pacific.Chuan GAO Maonan CHEN Lu ZHOU Licheng FENG Rong-Hua ZHANG 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,12:3
5Core-shell structured 1,4-benzoquinone@TiO_2 cathode for lithium batteries显示文摘Organic carbonyl compounds are considered as promising candidates for lithium batteries due to their high capacity and environmental friendliness. However, they suffer from serious dissolution in the electrolyte, leading to fast capacity decay. Here we report core-shell structured 1,4-benzoquinone@titanium dioxide(BQ@TiO_2) composite as cathode for lithium batteries. The composite cathode can deliver a high discharge capacity of 441.2 mA h/g at 50 m A/g and a high capacity retention of 80.7% after 100 cycles. The good cycling performance of BQ@TiO_2 composite can be attributed to the suppressed dissolution of BQ,which results from the physical confinement effect of TiO_2 shell and the strong interactions between BQ and TiO_2. Moreover, the combination of ex situ infrared spectra and density functional theory calculations reveals that the active redox sites of BQ are carbonyl groups. 7A methodology to achieve the basis function for the expansion of sound speed profile显示文摘In order to evaluate the reliability and applicability of the Empirical Orthogonal Functions(EOFs)in the acoustic inversion of sound speed profile(SSP)and reduce EOF's dependence on the sample data,a methodology is proposed for the achievement of the basis functions for SSP's expansion.By analyzing the oceanographic dynamics which is the main cause of the SSP's variation,the basis functions are obtained naming the Hydrodynamic Normal Modes(HNMs).The HNM basis functions are almost the same as those derived from the EOF method,while HNMs has less dependence on the amount of the sample data.HNMs method has a physically meaningful interpretation,and it could give out the physical parameters which determine the basis functions for the expansion of SSP,and this makes it possible to analyze and evaluate the trustiness and applicability of EOFs.SONG Wenhua HU Tao GUO Shengming MA Li LU Licheng 2014Chinese Journal of Acoustics2014,33,3:2
8Effective femtosecond laser shock peening on a Mg-3Gd alloy at low pulse energy 430 μJ of 1 kHz显示文摘In this paper,microstructure evolution and hardness of Mg-3 Gd alloy treated by femtosecond(fs)laser shock peening(LSP)with direct and confined ablation m odes were investigated in detail.Under a relatively low pulse energy of 430μJ with a repetition of 1 kHz,the surface hardness of sample has been enhanced by 70%effectively.Comp a r e d with ns-LSP with pulse fluence of 71.7J/cm2,fs-LSP with pulse fluence of 34.2 J/cm2 is superior in the hardness increment,both of which are in the same order of magnitude.A distinct grain refinement of surface layer has been discovered and results in the increase of hardness.Nonuse of absorption and confining layers and the employment of the industry commercial fs laser with high repetition can inspire big potential L S P application in special metal material.©2019 Published by Elsevier B.V.on behalf of Chongqing University.Chenghao Lu Licheng Ge Bing Zhu Yangxin Li Xianfeng Chen Xiaoqin Zeng Yuping Chen 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,3:2

14An OSGi-based flexible and adaptive pervasive cloud infrastructure显示文摘There is a trend that diferent computing paradigms such as cloud computing,pervasive,and mobile computing are converging with each other.Due to this convergence,there arise unprecedented complexities,such as huge number of computing devices,flexibilities and adaptation of service infrastructure(infrastructure elasticity)for fitting dynamics of large smart city applications,expectations of powerful computing and storage capabilities on handhold devices,and so on.Therefore,a supporting infrastructure is needed,which can flexibly switch services at run time and can be used to enhance capabilities for small devices through component/service migrations.In this paper,we propose an elastic open service gateway initiative(OSGi)-based pervasive cloud(OSGi-PC)infrastructure which can make use of both the cloud computing capabilities and the component flexibilities from OSGi.OSGi-PC provides flexible management of component migrations between small devices themselves and powerful nodes in between,which is remaining a critical challenge for enabling mobile clouds.We have evaluated the OSGi-PC in terms of performance for adaptive service provision,and power consumption during service adaptation,performance and power consumption for component migrations in diferent scenarios,which show the usability of OSGi-PC.ZHANG WeiShan CHEN LiCheng LIU Xin LU QingHua ZHANG PeiYing YANG Su 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,3:1

18Performance analysis of source ranging by use of virtual receiver technique under different frequency bands显示文摘The traditional matched field processing localization need complicated computation to get the replica field and has high dependence on environment parameters and acoustic field model.To overcome the shortcoming,virtual receiver technique is used for source ranging.A virtual receiver is constructed by correlating the two signals of the guide source and the objective source received by a vertical line array.Then,the slope of the interference striation of the virtual field is estimated using relevant signal processing method.Combining with the waveguide invariant β,the range of the objective source is determined.Through the numerical simulations and data processing collected from the experiment carried out in the South China Sea in 2004,the virtual receiver technique for broadband source ranging under the slopebottom shallow water environment is discussed.As the frequency increases,the frequency bands should be broadened to obtain complete interference striation for good ranging results.In data processing,the receiving array spacing is too large to promise the orthogonality of the modes as the frequency increases and ranging results become worse.YAO Meijuan MA Li LU Licheng GUO Shengming 2015Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,4:1
