1Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)显示文摘In recent years,as living standards have continued to improve,the number of diabetes patients in China,along with the incidence of complications associated with the disease,has been increasing.Among these complications,diabetic foot disease is one of the main causes of disability and death in diabetic patients.Due to the differences in economy,culture,religion and level of medical care available across different regions,preventive and treatment methods and curative results for diabetic foot vary greatly.In multidisciplinary models built around diabetic foot,the timely assessment and diagnosis of wounds and appropriate methods of prevention and treatment with internal and external surgery are key to clinical practice for this pathology.In 2019,under the leadership of the Jiangsu Medical Association and Chinese Diabetes Society,the writing group for the Guidelines on multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and management of diabetic foot disease(2020 edition)was established with the participation of scholars from the specialist areas of endocrinology,burn injury,vascular surgery,orthopedics,foot and ankle surgery and cardiology.Drawing lessons from diabetic foot guidelines from other countries,this guide analyses clinical practices for diabetic foot,queries the theoretical basis and grades and gives recommendations based on the characteristics of the pathology in China.This paper begins with assessments and diagnoses of diabetic foot,then describes treatments for diabetic foot in detail,and ends with protections for high-risk feet and the prevention of ulcers.This manuscript covers the disciplines of internal medicine,surgical,nursing and rehabilitation and describes a total of 50 recommendations that we hope will provide procedures and protocols for clinicians dealing with diabetic foot.Aiping Wang Guozhong Lv Xingbo Cheng Xianghua Ma Wei Wang Jianchao Gui JiHu Meng Lu Guoping Chu Jin’an Chen Hao Zhang Yiqiu Jiang Yuedong Chen Wengbo Yang Lin Jiang Houfa Geng Rendong Zheng Yihui Li Wei Feng Boey Johnson Wenjuan Wang Dalong Zhu Yin Hu 2020Burns & Trauma2020,8,1:34
2Identification of long-range transport pathways and potential sources of PM2.5 and PM10 in Beijing from 2014 to 2015显示文摘Trajectory clustering, potential source contribution function(PSCF) and concentration-weighted trajectory(CWT) methods were applied to investigate the transport pathways and identify potential sources of PM_(2.5)and PM_(10) in different seasons from June 2014 to May 2015 in Beijing.The cluster analyses showed that Beijing was affected by trajectories from the south and southeast in summer and autumn. In winter and spring, Beijing was not only affected by the trajectories from the south and southeast, but was also affected by trajectories from the north and northwest. In addition, the analyses of the pressure profile of backward trajectories showed that backward trajectories, which have important influence on Beijing, were mainly distributed above 970 h Pa in summer and autumn and below 950 h Pa in spring and winter. This indicates that PM_(2.5)and PM_(10) were strongly affected by the near surface air masses in summer and autumn and by high altitude air masses in winter and spring. Results of PSCF and CWT analyses showed that the largest potential source areas were identified in spring, followed by winter and autumn,then summer. In addition, potential source regions of PM_(10) were similar to those of PM_(2.5). There were a clear seasonal and spatial variation of the potential source areas of Beijing and the airflow in the horizontal and vertical directions. 6Development of a static test apparatus for evaluating the performance of three PM2.5 separators commonly used in China显示文摘PM2.5 separator directly affects the accuracy of PM2.5 sampling.The specification testing and evaluation for PM2.5 separator is particularly important,especially under China’s wide variation of terrain and climate.In this study,first a static test apparatus based on polydisperse aerosol was established and calibrated to evaluate the performance of the PM2.5 separators.A uniform mixing chamber was developed to make particles mix completely.The aerosol concentration relative standard deviations of three test points at the same horizontal chamber position were less than 0.57%,and the particle size distribution obeyed logarithmic normal distribution with an R2 of 0.996.The flow rate deviation between the measurement and the set point flow rate agreed to within±1.0%in the range of-40 to 50℃.Secondly,the separation,flow and loading characteristics of three cyclone separators(VSCC-A,SCC-A and SCC112)were evaluated using this system.The results showed that the 50%cutoff sizes(D50)of the three cyclones were 2.48,2.47 and 2.44μm when worked at the manufacturer’s recommended flow rates,respectively.The geometric standard deviation(GSD)of the capture efficiency of VSCCA was 1.23,showed a slightly sharper than SCC-A(GSD=1.27),while the SCC112 did not meet the relevant indicator(GSD=1.2±0.1)with a GSD=1.44.The flow rate and loading test had a great effect on D50,while the GSD remained almost the same as before.In addition,the maintenance frequency under different air pollution conditions of the cyclones was summarized according to the loading test.Peng Du Jianguo Liu Huaqiao Gui Jiaoshi Zhang Tongzhu Yu Jie Wang Yin Cheng Yihuai Lu Yawei Yao Qiang Fu ChihChieh Chen 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,1:9
7Therapeutic Potential of Naja Naja Atra Venom in A Rat Model of Diabetic Nephropathy显示文摘Objective To study the protective effects of naja naja atra venom (NNAV) in a rat model of diabetic nephropathy (DN). Methods The rat diabetes model was induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ). Thirty-two model rats were randomly divided into one DN group (n=8) and three treatment groups (n=8 each) that received NNAV at doses of 30, 90, or 270 μg/(kg day) via oral gavage, another eight rats as normal controls. After 12 weeks, all rats were sacrificed and the changes in serum and urine biological index levels were determined by colorimetric assay. Microalbumin (mALB), N-acetyl-β- glucosaminidase (NAG) and cystatin C (CysC) concentrations were measured by ELISA. Renal tissues were sliced for pathological and immunohistochemical observations. Results Comparied with the DN group, serum glucose was decreased by 31.04%, total cholesterol 21.96%, triglyceride 23.78%, serum creatinine 19.83%, blood urea nitrogen 31.28%, urinary protein excretion 45.42%, mALB 10.42%, NAG 20.65%, CysC 19.57%, whereas albumin increased by 5.55%, high-density lipoprotein–cholesterol 59.09%, creatinine clearance 19.05% in the treatment group by NNAV administration at dose of 90 μg/(kg day). NNAV also reduced the levels of malondialdehyde in serum (22.56%) and kidney tissue (9.79%), and increased superoxide dismutase concentration in serum (15%) and decreased it in renal tissue (8.85%). In addition, under light microscopy kidney structure was improved and glomerular hypertrophy decreased by 8.29%. As shown by immunohistochemistry, NNAV inhibited transforming growth factor-β1 by 6.70% and nuclear actor-κB by 5.15%. 8The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE) mission: An overview显示文摘The Chinese Hα Solar Explorer(CHASE), dubbed “Xihe”—Goddess of the Sun, was launched on October 14, 2021 as the first solar space mission of China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE mission is designed to test a newly developed satellite platform and to acquire the spectroscopic observations in the Hα waveband. The Hα Imaging Spectrograph(HIS)is the scientific payload of the CHASE satellite. It consists of two observational modes: raster scanning mode and continuum imaging mode. The raster scanning mode obtains full-Sun or region-of-interest spectral images from 6559.7 to 6565.9 ? and from 6567.8 to 6570.6 ? with 0.024 ? pixel spectral resolution and 1 min temporal resolution. The continuum imaging mode obtains photospheric images in continuum around 6689 ? with the full width at half maximum of 13.4 ?. The CHASE mission will advance our understanding of the dynamics of solar activity in the photosphere and chromosphere. 10Synergistic anti-inflammatory and osteogenic n-HA/resveratrol/chitosan composite microspheres for osteoporotic bone regeneration显示文摘The development of functional materials for osteoporosis is ultimately required for bone remodeling.However,grafts were accompanied by increasing pro-inflammatory cytokines that impaired bone formation.In this work,nano-hydroxyapatite(n-HA)/resveratrol(Res)/chitosan(CS)composite microspheres were designed to create a beneficial microenvironment and help improve the osteogenesis by local sustained release of Res.Study of in vitro release confirmed the feasibility of n-HA/Res/CS microspheres for controlled Res release.Notably,microspheres had anti-inflammatory activity evidenced by the decreased expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α,IL-1βand iNOS in RAW264.7 cells in a dose dependent manner.Further,enhanced adhesion and proliferation of BMSCs seeded onto microspheres demonstrated that composite microspheres were conducive to cell growth.The ability to enhance osteo-differentiation was supported by up-regulation of Runx2,ALP,Col-1 and OCN,and substantial mineralization in osteogenic medium.When implanted into bone defects in the osteoporotic rat femoral condyles,enhanced entochondrostosis and bone regeneration suggested that the n-HA/Res/CS composite microspheres were more favorable for impaired fracture healing.The results indicated that optimized n-HA/Res/CS composite microspheres could serve as promising multifunctional fillers for osteoporotic bone defect/fracture treatment.Limei Li Mali Yu Yao Li Qing Li Hongcai Yang Meng Zheng Yi Han Di Lu Sheng Lu Li Gui 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,5:6
11A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 12An Ensemble Approach for Emotion Cause Detection with Event Extraction and Multi-Kernel SVMs显示文摘In this paper, we present a new challenging task for emotion analysis, namely emotion cause extraction.In this task, we focus on the detection of emotion cause a.k.a the reason or the stimulant of an emotion, rather than the regular emotion classification or emotion component extraction. Since there is no open dataset for this task available, we first designed and annotated an emotion cause dataset which follows the scheme of W3 C Emotion Markup Language. We then present an emotion cause detection method by using event extraction framework,where a tree structure-based representation method is used to represent the events. Since the distribution of events is imbalanced in the training data, we propose an under-sampling-based bagging algorithm to solve this problem. Even with a limited training set, the proposed approach may still extract sufficient features for analysis by a bagging of multi-kernel based SVMs method. 13Dynamic extending nonlinear H_∞ control and its application to hydraulic turbine governor显示文摘There exists a large class of nonlinear systems with uncertainties, such as hydrau- lic turbine governors, whose robust control problem is hard to solve by means of the existing robust control approaches. For this class of systems, this work pre- sents a dynamic extending H∞ controller via both differential geometry and H∞ the- ory. Furthermore, based on differential game theory, it has been verified that the proposed control strategy has robustness in the sense that the disturbance can be attenuated effectively because the L2-gain from the disturbance input to the regu- lation output signal could be reduced to any given level. Thirdly, a robust control strategy for hydraulic turbine governor is designed according to the proposed ex- tending H∞ control method, and has been developed into a real control equipment. 14Dynamics of Rodent and Rodent-borne Disease during Construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir from 1997 to 2012显示文摘Objective To investigate the impact of impoundment and active public health interventions on rodent populations and rodent-borne diseases in the Three Gorges reservoir region from 1997 to 2012. Methods Surveillance data from 1997 to 2012 were extracted from the Public Health Surveillance System of The Three Gorges established in 1997. Temporal changes in the incidences of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS) and leptospirosis, rodent density, pathogen-carrying rates, and their correlations were analyzed. Results The average indoor and outdoor rodent densities decreased overall from 1997 to 2012. The average densities decreased by 47.72%(from 4.38% to 2.29%) and 39.68%(from 4.41% to 2.66%), respectively, after impoundment(2003-2012) compared with before impoundment(1997-2002). The average annual incidence rates of HFRS and leptospirosis were 0.29/100,000 and 0.52/100,000, respectively, and decreased by 85.74%(from 0.68/100,000 to 0.10/100,000) and 95.73%(from 1.47/100,000 to 0.065/100,000), respectively, after impoundment compared with before impoundment. Incidences of HFRS and leptospirosis appear to be positively correlated with rodent density in the reservoir area. Conclusion This study demonstrated that rodent density and incidences of rodent-borne diseases decreased and were maintained at low levels during construction of the Three Gorges dam. 15Experimental free-space quantum secure direct communication and its security analysis显示文摘We report an experimental implementation of free-space quantum secure direct communication based on single photons.The quantum communication scheme uses phase encoding,and the asymmetric Mach–Zehnder interferometer is optimized so as to automatically compensate phase drift of the photons during their transitions over the free-space medium.At a 16 MHz pulse repetition frequency,an information transmission rate of 500 bps over a 10 m free space with a mean quantum bit error rate of 0.49%±0.27%is achieved.The security is analyzed under the scenario that Eve performs the collective attack for single-photon state and the photon number splitting attack for multi-photon state in the depolarizing channel.Our results show that quantum secure direct communication is feasible in free space.DONG PAN ZAISHENG LIN JIAWEI WU HAORAN ZHANG ZHEN SUN DONG RUAN LIUGUO YIN AND GUI LU LONG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,9:5

19Laboratory-based Surveillance and Clinical Profile of Sporadic HEV Infection in Shanghai,China显示文摘The study aimed to describe the epidemiological,virological and clinical features of sporadic HEV infection in eastern China.A total of 6112 patient sera were tested for anti-HEV IgG or anti-HEV IgM during one consecutive year(between August 2018 and July 2019).HEV RNA presence was evaluated by RT-PCR and HEV sequences were phylogenetically analyzed.Clinical features of confirmed HEV-infected patients were delineated.The sero-positivity rate of anti-HEV IgG maintained stable around 40%,while an obvious winter spike of anti-HEV IgM prevalence was observed.A total of 111 patients were confirmed of HEV viremia by molecular diagnosis.Subtype 4d was predominant.Phylogenetic analyses suggest that certain strains circulate across species and around the country.Subjects with confirmed current HEV infection had a high median age(58 years)and males were predominant(62.2%).Most patients presented with jaundice(75.7%)and anorexia(68.0%).Significantly elevated levels of liver enzymes and bilirubin were observed.Remarkably,the baseline bilirubin level was positively correlated with illness severity.Pre-existing HBV carriage may deteriorate illness.The clinical burden caused by locally acquired HEV infection is increasing.Surveillance should be enforced especially during the transition period from winter to spring.Patients with higher level of bilirubin at disease onset had slower recovery from HEV infection.Jie Lu Qing Li Jiayuan Jiang Ziqiang Li Peiyun Wang Zike Sheng Rongtao Lai Huijuan Zhou Wei Cai Hui Wang Qing Guo Honglian Gui Qing Xie 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,4:4
20Role of EGFL7/EGFR-signaling pathway in migration and invasion of growth hormone-producing pituitary adenomas显示文摘Currently, the primary therapeutic strategy for most growth hormone-producing pituitary adenomas(GHPA) is surgery. Due to the invasiveness of GHPA, high recurrence has limited the benefit of complete adenoma removal surgery. Epidermal growth factor-like domain 7(EGFL7) is a secreted factor implicated in tumor angiogenesis, growth, invasiveness and metastasis in GHPA. Herein, we observed that the expression level of EGFL7 and p-EGFR in invasive GHPAwas much higher than that of non-invasive GHPA. The overexpression of EGFL7 was positively correlated with activation of EGFR(p-EGFR). Noticeably, EGFL7 knockdown significantly inhibited activation of EGFR signaling cascades, including p-ERGR, p-AKT and p-ERK. Further studies showed that EGFL7 knockdown or pharmacological inhibition of EGFR-pathway, using EGFR inhibitor Tyrphostin AG-1478, significantly suppressed migration and invasion of GH3 and GT1-1 cells.
