2Intrusion detection based on system calls and homogeneous Markov chains显示文摘A novel method for detecting anomalous program behavior is presented, which is applicable to host-based intrusion detection systems that monitor system call activities. The method constructs a homogeneous Markov chain model to characterize the normal behavior of a privileged program, and associates the states of the Markov chain with the unique system calls in the training data. At the detection stage, the probabilities that the Markov chain model supports the system call sequences generated by the program are computed. A low probability indicates an anomalous sequence that may result from intrusive activities. Then a decision rule based on the number of anomalous sequences in a locality frame is adopted to classify the program's behavior. The method gives attention to both computational effciency and detection accuracy, and is especially suitable for on-line detection. 3Efficacy of platinum in advanced triple-negative breast cancer with germline BRCA mutation determined by next generation sequencing显示文摘Objective:To compare the efficacy of platinum-and non-platinum-based regimens as first-line treatment for advanced triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)and analyze the relationship between their efficacy and BRCA gene status.Methods:Retrospectively analyze clinical data of 220 patients diagnosed pathologically with advanced TNBC and treated at the Department of Breast Oncology,Peking University Cancer Hospital from 2013 to 2018 and evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy.A total of 114 patients had BRCA1/2 gene tested by next generation sequencing(NGS)using peripheral blood,and we analyzed the correlation between their efficacy and BRCA1/2 gene status.Results:Non-platinum-based chemotherapy(NPCT)was administered to 129 and platinum-based chemotherapy(PBCT)to 91 study patients.The clinical benefit rate(CBR)and median progression-free survival(PFS)were not statistically different between NPCT and PBCT groups.The median overall survival(OS)was 30.0 and 22.5 months for PBCT and NPCT group,respectively[P=0.090,hazard ratios(HR)=0.703].BRCA status was assessed in 114 patients,14 of whom had deleterious germline BRCA1/2(g BRCA)mutations(seven in each group).In PBCT group,the CBR was 85.7%and 35.1%for patients with and without deleterious g BRCA mutations,respectively(P=0.039).The median PFS were 14.9 and 5.3 months and median OS were 26.5 and 15.5 months for patients with and without deleterious g BRCA mutations,respectively(P=0.001,P=0.161,respectively).Patients in PBCT group had significantly greater rates of grade 3-4 anemia(5.5%vs.0%)and thrombocytopenia(8.8%vs.0%),whereas palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia(12.4%vs.0%)and peripheral neuropathy(8.6%vs.1.1%)occurred more frequently in NPCT group.Conclusions:Platinum-based regimens are more effective in patients with deleterious g BRCA mutations,but no difference in patients without BRCA gene mutations,so non-platinum is an option in patients without BRCA gene mutations considering the toxicity and side effect.And we recommend that patients with advanced TNBC should have BRCA gene test.Nan Wang Kun Li Wenfa Huang Weiyao Kong Xiaoran Liu Weijie Shi Feng Xie Hanfang Jiang Guohong Song Lijun Di Quanren Wang Jianjun Yu Huiping Li 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2:7
4Progress of the injection laser system of SG-Ⅱ显示文摘A high power laser system was used to drive the ignition of inertial confinement fusion(ICF), of which the high energy,the uniform focal spot, the accurate laser waveform, and the synchronization between the laser beams are key parameters.To accomplish this, global laser characteristics control should be assured, which was the main purpose of the injection laser system. 5Auxin response factor 6A regulates photosynthesis,sugar accumulation,and fruit development in tomato显示文摘Auxin response factors(ARFs)are involved in auxin-mediated transcriptional regulation in plants.In this study,we performed functional characterization of SlARF6A in tomato.SlARF6A is located in the nucleus and exhibits transcriptional activator activity.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased chlorophyll contents in the fruits and leaves of tomato plants,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A decreased chlorophyll contents compared with those of wild-type(WT)plants.Analysis of chloroplasts using transmission electron microscopy indicated increased sizes of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-overexpressing plants and decreased numbers of chloroplasts in SlARF6A-downregulated plants.Overexpression of SlARF6A increased the photosynthesis rate and accumulation of starch and soluble sugars,whereas knockdown of SlARF6A resulted in opposite phenotypes in tomato leaves and fruits.RNA-sequence analysis showed that regulation of SlARF6A expression altered the expression of genes involved in chlorophyll metabolism,photosynthesis and sugar metabolism.SlARF6A directly bound to the promoters of SlGLK1,CAB,and RbcS genes and positively regulated the expression of these genes.Overexpression of SlARF6A also inhibited fruit ripening and ethylene production,whereas downregulation of SlARF6A increased fruit ripening and ethylene production.SlARF6A directly bound to the SAMS1 promoter and negatively regulated SAMS1 expression.Taken together,these results expand our understanding of ARFs with regard to photosynthesis,sugar accumulation and fruit development and provide a potential target for genetic engineering to improve fruit nutrition in horticulture crops.Yujin Yuan Xin Xu Zehao Gong Yuwei Tang Mengbo Wu Fang Yan Xiaolan Zhang Qian Zhang Fengqing Yang Xiaowei Hu Qichen Yang Yingqing Luo Lihua Mei Wenfa Zhang Cai-Zhong Jiang Wangjin Lu Zhengguo Li Wei Deng 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:3

7Stability control of multi-parameter adaptive wireless communication systems based on multi-Lyapunov function显示文摘With the occurrence of burst interference,bit error rate( BER) stability of the wireless communication system( WCS) always degrades significantly. To cope with it,a stability control algorithm is proposed,utilizing the stability theory of switched systems,which is specifically applicable for multi-parameter adaptive WCS with spectrum sensing ability,and it is capable of stabilizing BER within a reasonable range. Firstly,WCS is modeled as a switched system. Then,based on the multi-Lyapunov function,controlling rules are presented to enable the switched system to satisfy stable condition asymptotically. 9A multi-target stance detection based on Bi-LSTM network with position-weight显示文摘In the task of multi-target stance detection,there are problems the mutual influence of content describing different targets,resulting in reduction in accuracy.To solve this problem,a multi-target stance detection algorithm based on a bidirectional long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)network with position-weight is proposed.First,the corresponding position of the target in the input text is calculated with the ultimate position-weight vector.Next,the position information and output from the Bi-LSTM layer are fused by the position-weight fusion layer.Finally,the stances of different targets are predicted using the LSTM network and softmax classification.The multi-target stance detection corpus of the American election in 2016 is used to validate the proposed method.The results demonstrate that the Bi-LSTM network with position-weight achieves an advantage of 1.4%in macro average F1 value in the comparison of recent algorithms.徐翼龙 Li Wenfa Wang Gongming Huang Lingyun 2020High Technology Letters2020,26,4:1

12Flexible top-illuminated organic photodetector using an ultrathin-metal-based transparent electrode显示文摘Top-illuminated structure facilitates the integration of organic photodetectors(OPDs)into high-resolution flexible wearable light detection systems by allowing the OPDs to be deposited on the bottom readout circuit.However,constructing this structure poses a challenge as it demands metallic electrodes with both high optical transparency and high electrical conductivity.But to achieve practical sheet resistances,most semitransparent metallic electrodes tend to reflect a large portion of incident light instead of allowing it to be absorbed by the photoactive layer of the OPDs.This,in turn,results in reduced photocurrent generation.To address this issue,a semiconducting germanium(Ge)film is introduced into a sliver(Ag)film,effectively reducing its reflectivity by lessening scattering.The Ge film also changes how the Ag film grows,further reducing its absorption by lowering the critical thickness needed for forming a continuous film.This approach yields a 10 nm metallic electrode with a transmittance of 70%,a reflectivity of 12%,and a sheet resistance of 35.5Ω/□.Using this metallic electrode,flexible OPDs exhibit a high photo-to-dark current ratio of 2.9×10^(4)and improved mechanical properties.This finding highlights the benefits of the top-illuminated structure,which effectively reduces losses caused by waveguided modes of the incident light.YUANHE WANG XINYI LI SHIHAO LIU LETIAN ZHANG WENFA XIE 2023Photonics Research2023,11,12:0
13LD-pumped gas-cooled multislab Nd:glass laser amplification to joule level显示文摘We demonstrate a laser diode end-pumped helium gas-cooled multislab Nd:glass laser amplifier. The design and thermal management of the proposed laser amplifier are discussed. The thermally induced wavefront aberration of the slabs was also measured and compared with simulation results. A small-signal single-pass longitudinal gain of 1.8 was measured with a pump energy of 7.3 J. 14Using machine learning algorithms to estimate stand volume growth of Larix and Quercus forests based on national-scale Forest Inventory data in China显示文摘Estimating the volume growth of forest ecosystems accurately is important for understanding carbon sequestration and achieving carbon neutrality goals.However,the key environmental factors affecting volume growth differ across various scales and plant functional types.This study was,therefore,conducted to estimate the volume growth of Larix and Quercus forests based on national-scale forestry inventory data in China and its influencing factors using random forest algorithms.The results showed that the model performances of volume growth in natural forests(R^(2)=0.65 for Larix and 0.66 for Quercus,respectively)were better than those in planted forests(R^(2)=0.44 for Larix and 0.40 for Quercus,respectively).In both natural and planted forests,the stand age showed a strong relative importance for volume growth(8.6%–66.2%),while the edaphic and climatic variables had a limited relative importance(<6.0%).The relationship between stand age and volume growth was unimodal in natural forests and linear increase in planted Quercus forests.And the specific locations(i.e.,altitude and aspect)of sampling plots exhibited high relative importance for volume growth in planted forests(4.1%–18.2%).Altitude positively affected volume growth in planted Larix forests but controlled volume growth negatively in planted Quercus forests.Similarly,the effects of other environmental factors on volume growth also differed in both stand origins(planted versus natural)and plant functional types(Larix versus Quercus).These results highlighted that the stand age was the most important predictor for volume growth and there were diverse effects of environmental factors on volume growth among stand origins and plant functional types.Our findings will provide a good framework for site-specific recommendations regarding the management practices necessary to maintain the volume growth in China's forest ecosystems.Huiling Tian Jianhua Zhu Xiao He Xinyun Chen Zunji Jian Chenyu Li Qiangxin Ou Qi Li Guosheng Huang Changfu Liu Wenfa Xiao 2022Forest Ecosystems2022,9,3:0

16Attenuation of Telomerase Activity by siRNA Targeted Telomerase RNA Leads to Apoptosis and Inhibition of Proliferation in Human Renal Carcinoma Cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE Telomerase is an attractive molecular target for cancer therapy because the activation of telomerase is one of the key steps in cell immortalization and carcinogenesis. RNA interference using small-interfering RNA (siRNA) has been demonstrated to be an effective method for inhibiting the expression of a given gene in human cells. The aim of the present study was to investigate whether inhibition of telomerase activity by siRNA targeted against human telomerase RNA (hTR) can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptotic cell death in human renal carcinoma cells (HRCCs). METHODS The siRNA duplexes for hTR were synthesized and 786-0 HRCCs were transfected with different concentrations of hTR-siRNA. The influence on the hTR mRNA level, telomerase activity, as well as the effect on cell proliferation and apoptosis was examined. RESULTS Anti-hTR siRNA treatment of HRCCs resulted in specific reduction of hTR mRNA and inhibition of telomerase activity. Additionally, significant inhibition of proliferation and induction of apoptosis were observed. CONCLUSION siRNA against the hTR gene can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis by blocking telomerase activity of HRCCs. 17Research on cognitive load evaluation with subjective method in manual assembly显示文摘Subjective scales have different kinds of applicability in diverse fields.This study intends to implement a quantitative approach to determine the applicability of subjective scales in manual as-sembly work and evaluate the cognitive load of assembly workers.A multi-scale research paradigm based on subjective evaluation method is proposed.Three typical task stages are extracted from the process of assembly work.The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index(NASA-TLX)scale,PAAS scale and Workload Profile Index Ratings(WP)scale are selected for the design of 3×3 multi-factor mixed experiment.The power spectrum density(PSD)characteris-tics of electroencephalogram(EEG)are utilized to identify the difficulty levels of the three task sta-ges.The relevant indicators of scale applicability are assessed.The results show that in terms of sensitivity,NASA-TLX scale reaches the highest sensitivity(F=999.137,P=0<0.05).In terms of validity,NASA-TLX scale possesses the best concurrent validity(P=0.0255<0.05).In terms of diagnosticity,NASA-TLX scale based on 6 dimensions takes on the best diagnostic performance.In terms of subject acceptability,WP scale performs the worst.According to the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)model,the applicability scores of NASA-TLX scale,PAAS scale and WP scale are determined as 3,2.55 and 1.6714,respectively.Therefore,NASA-TLX scale is regarded as the most suitable subjective evaluation questionnaire for assembly workers,which is also an effective quantitative evaluation method for the cognitive load of assembly workers.任彬 ZHOU Qinyu LI Qibing LUO Wenfa 2023High Technology Letters2023,29,4:0
18A graph theory model using human nature structure显示文摘A graph theory model of the human nature structure( GMH) for machine vision and image/graphics processing is described in this paper. Independent from the motion and deformation of contours,the human nature structure( HNS) embodies the most basic movement characteristics of the body. The human body can be divided into basic units like head,torso,and limbs. Using these basic units,a graph theory model for the HNS can be constructed. GMH provides a basic model for human posture processing,and the outline in the perspective projection plane is the body contour of an image.
