2Shallow Genetic Structure of Pholis fangi in Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea Inferred from mt DNA Control Region显示文摘Pholis fangi is an ecologically important fish species inhabiting Chinese coastal waters of Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. To investigate the genetic diversity and population genetic structure of P. fangi, a fragment of 487 bp in the first hypervariable region (HVR-1) of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) control region was sequenced for 181 individuals collected from Bohai Sea and Yel- low Sea. A total of 18 polymorphic sites were detected, which defined 25 haplotypes. A moderate level of haplotype diversity (h = 0.7052) and a low level of nucleotide diversity (π= 0.0028) were detected. Both the phylogenetic tree and the haplotype network showed no significant genealogical structure difference among sampling locations. Pairwise FST comparison and hierarchical mo- lecular variance analysis (AMOVA) revealed that no significant genetic structure difference existed throughout the investigated re- gions, suggesting a high gene exchange among different populations. The results of neutrality test and mismatch distribution analysis indicated that a late Pleistocene population expansion (38000 127000 years ago) happened. 3Effect of Plasticizer Poly(Ethylene Glycol)on the Crystallization Properties of Stereocomplex-Type Poly(Lactide Acid)显示文摘The effects of the plasticizer poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) on crystallization properties of equimolar poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)/poly(D-lactide)(PDLA) blends were investigated. Formation of the stereocomplex-type poly(lactide acid)(sc-PLA) crystallites was confirmed by Wide-angle X-ray diffraction(WAXD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) analyses. Sc-PLA crystallites without any homochiral poly(lactide acid)(hc-PLA) formed, as the result of the incorporation of the plasticizer PEG(more than or equal to 10%(wt)) at a processing temperature(240 ℃). Moreover, when the MW of PEG reached 1 000 g × mol–1, the crystallizability of stereocomplex crystallites was the best. Isothermal crystallization kinetics further revealed that PEG could accelerate the crystallization rate of sc-PLA, with the optimum crystallization kinetic parameters being obtained at 10%(wt) PEG. Several crystallization kinetics equations were applied to describe the effect of PEG on the crystallization behavior of sc-PLA. 4Effects of Injection Angles and Aperture Ratios on Film Cooling Performance of Sister Holes显示文摘In this paper,to analyze the influences of the injection angles and aperture ratios (AR) of the primary hole and the side hole on the film cooling performance of a flat plate model,pressure sensitive paint (PSP) technology was used to study the forward and backward jet of a single hole and four sister holes,and a numerical simulation was supplemented to explore the flow structure of the sister holes.The sister holes had a better film cooling performance than the cylindrical hole at all blowing ratios (BR).The backward jet of the primary hole or the side hole could increase the spanwise film coverage of the sister hole.In this study,with the primary hole featuring a backward jet and the side hole featuring a forward jet,the film cooling performance was the best,11.9 times higher than the areal mean film cooling efficiency of the cylindrical hole when AR=1 and BR=1.5.At a low blowing ratio,the counter-rotating vortex pair (CRVP) of the side hole could suppress the strength of the CRVP of the primary hole.At a high blowing ratio,when the primary hole featured a backward jet and the side hole featured a forward jet,the CRVP of the side hole had the optimal performance for suppressing the CRVP of the primary hole.LI Mingchun HE Yeguang LI Rundong YANG Tianhua 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,2:1

9Formation and growth mechanisms of ultrafine particles in sludge-incineration flue gas显示文摘Atmospheric particulate matter with diameter<2.5μm now makes up much of the air pollution in China,but it is the ultrafine particles(UFPs)with diameter<90 nm that are of particular interest.This is because UFPs are strongly linked with human health for two reasons:they contain a variety of hazardous substances and they can deeply penetrate human respiratory systems.Therefore,scanning electron microscopy combined with X-ray dispersive energy spectrometry was used to characterize the morphology and surface texture,as well as the elemental composition of 60 UFPs.The UFPs was generated in a sewage sludge-incineration power plant in Zhejiang Province.This was done to determine the microstructure of the ultrafine particles and to follow the evolution of particle surface elemental composition with increasing particle size.Then,a comparison of the characteristic time for nucleation,condensation and coagulation was done to estimate the dominant mechanism.The results show that the UFPs have generally irregular shapes(cotton-like,irregular balls,sheets,etc.)and that they usually aggregate to form a mass.With increase in the size of a UFP,the mass fraction of the elements presents clearly changed:Na,K and Fe gradually decreased;while Ca,Si and Al,as well as the heavy metals Cu,Zn and Ni increased.Characteristic time estimation is a convenient and effective tool for identifying the predominant mechanisms during combustion.In this study,calculations of characteristic time were used to reveal a mechanism of vaporization,nucleation,condensation and coagulation,which drives the formation and growth of ultrafine particles.Yanlong Li Jiaqi Man Zhengquan Fang Yunbin Zhao Feng Wang Rundong Li 2019Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2019,1,2:1
10Versatile optical manipulation of trions,dark excitons and biexcitons through contrasting exciton-photon coupling显示文摘Various exciton species in transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs),such as neutral excitons,trions(charged excitons),dark excitons,and biexcitons,have been individually discovered with distinct light-matter interactions.In terms of valley-spin locked band structures and electron-hole configurations,these exciton species demonstrate flexible control of emission light with degrees of freedom(DOFs)such as intensity,polarization,frequency,and dynamics.However,it remains elusive to fully manipulate different exciton species on demand for practical photonic applications.Here,we investigate the contrasting light-matter interactions to control multiple DOFs of emission light in a hybrid monolayer WSe2-Ag nanowire(NW)structure by taking advantage of various exciton species.These excitons,including trions,dark excitons,and biexcitons,are found to couple independently with propagating surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs)of Ag NW in quite different ways,thanks to the orientations of transition dipoles.Consistent with the simulations,the dark excitons and dark trions show extremely high coupling efficiency with SPPs,while the trions demonstrate directional chiral-coupling features.This study presents a crucial step towards the ultimate goal of exploiting the comprehensive spectrum of TMD excitons for optical information processing and quantum optics.Zhe Li Xin-Yuan Zhang Rundong Ma Tong Fu Yan Zeng Chong Hu Yufeng Cheng Cheng Wang Yun Wang Yuhua Feng Takashi Taniguchi Kenji Watanabe Ti Wang Xiaoze Liu Hongxing Xu 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,12:0
11Fine-grained phosphors for red-emitting mini-LEDs with high efficiency and super-luminance显示文摘Mini-LED backlights,combining color conversion materials with blue mini-LED chips,promise traditional liquid crystal displays(LCDs)with higher luminance,better contrast,and a wider color gamut.However,as color conversion materials,quantum dots(QDs)are toxic and unstable,whereas commercially available inorganic phosphors are too big in size to combine with small mini-LED chips and also have strong size-dependence of quantum efficiency(QE)and reliability.In this work,we prepare fine-grained Sr_(2)Si_(5)N_(8):Eu^(2+)-based red phosphors with high efficiency and stability by treating commercially available phosphors with ball milling,centrifuging,and acid washing.The particle size of phosphors can be easily controlled by milling speed,and the phosphors with a size varying from 3.5 to 0.7 mm are thus obtained.The samples remain the same QE as the original ones(~80%)even when their particle size is reduced to 3.2-3.5 mm,because they contain fewer surface suspension bond defects.More importantly,SrBaSi_(5)N_(8):Eu^(2+)phosphors show a size-independent thermal quenching behavior and a zero thermal degradation.We demonstrate that red-emitting mini-LEDs can be fabricated by combining the SrBaSi_(5)N_(8):Eu^(2+)red phosphor(3.5 mm in size)with blue mini-LED chips,which show a high external quantum efficiency(EQE)of above 31%and a super-high luminance of 34.3 Mnits.It indicates that fine and high efficiency phosphors can be obtained by the proposed method in this work,and they have great potentials for use in mini-LED displays.Yu KANG Shuxing LI Rundong TIAN Guangzhu LIU Haorui DONG Tianliang ZHOU Rong-Jun XIE 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,9:0
12Study on Application Technology for Tissue Culture and Propagation of Tagetes patula L.显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the tissue culture and propagation technology in Tagetes patula L. [Method] By using tissue culture technology, different mass fractions of 6-BA and NAA were added to MS medium to compare the effect of different culture medium on the rapid propagation of T. patula L. [Result] Shoot tips or stem segments of T. patula L. were used as explants for tissue culture with an appropriate sterilization time of 8 min; differentiation effect of shoot tips was better than that of stem segments; callus generation rate was high with the high content of growth regulators; MS medium containing 0.1 mg/L NAA and 1.5 mg/L 6-BA was used for subculture proliferation with a subculture period of 4 weeks; rooting rate of plantlet was the maximum (97%) in 1/2MS medium containing 0.2 mg/L NAA, and the root system was relatively developed. 13Highly efficient recovery of waste LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) cathode materials using a process involving pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy显示文摘Substantial environmental and economic benefits can be achieved by recycling used lithium-ion batteries. Hydrometallurgy is often employed to recover waste LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) cathode materials. As Ni, Co and Mn are transition metals, they exhibit similar properties;therefore, separating them is difficult. Thus, most researchers have focused on leaching processes, while minimal attention has been devoted to the separation of valuable metals from waste LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) cathode materials. Herein, we propose an environment-friendly, gentle process involving the usage of pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy to gradually leach valuable metals and effectively separate them. Interestingly, Li is recovered through a reduction roasting and water leaching process using natural graphite powder, Ni and Co are recovered through ammonia leaching and extraction processes and Mn is recovered through acid leaching and evaporation–crystallization processes. Results show that ~87% Li, 97.01% Co, 97.08% Ni and 99% Mn can be leached using water, ammonia and acid leaching processes. The result obtained using the response surface methodology shows that the concentration of (NH4)2SO3 is a notable factor affecting the leaching of transition metals. Under optimal conditions, ~97.01% Co, 97.08% Ni and 0.64% Mn can be leached out. The decomposition of LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z)O_(2) is a two-step process. 15High-throughput genome editing in rice with a virus-based surrogate system显示文摘With the widespread use of clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated nuclease(Cas) technologies in plants, large-scale genome editing is increasingly needed. Here, we developed a geminivirus-mediated surrogate system, called Wheat Dwarf Virus-Gate(WDV-surrogate), to facilitate high-throughput genome editing.WDV-Gate has two parts: one is the recipient callus from a transgenic rice line expressing Cas9 and a mutated hygromycin-resistant gene(HygM) for surrogate selection;the other is a WDV-based construct expressing two single guide RNAs(sgRNAs) targeting HygM and a gene of interest, respectively. We evaluated WDV-Gate on six rice loci by producing a total of 874 T_0 plants. Compared with the conventional method, the WDV-Gate system, which was characterized by a transient and high level of sgRNA expression, significantly increased editing frequency(66.8% vs. 90.1%), plantlet regeneration efficiency(2.31-fold increase), and numbers of homozygous-edited plants(36.3%vs. 70.7%). Large-scale editing using pooled sg RNAs targeting the SLR1 gene resulted in a high editing frequency of 94.4%, further demonstrating its feasibility. We also tested WDVGate on sequence knock-in for protein tagging.By co-delivering a chemically modified donor DNA with the WDV-Gate plasmid, 3xFLAG peptides were successfully fused to three loci with an efficiency of up to 13%. 17Microwave assisted synthesis of PQ-GDY@NH_(2)-UIO-66(Zr) for improved photocatalytic removal of NOx under visible light显示文摘Pyrazinoquinoxaline-based graphdiyne (PQ-GDY) contains a fixed number of sp-sp2hybridized carbon atoms and pyrazine-like sp2hybridized N atoms.In this paper,NH_(2)-UIO-66(Zr) on PQ-GDY substrate was successfully constructed with the help of microwaveassisted heating.PQ-GDY surface acts as a microwave antenna under microwave irradiation to rapidly absorb microwave energy and form hot spots (hot spot effect),which facilitates the formation of well-dispersed NH2-UIO-66(Zr) with good crystallinity.Transient absorption spectra show that high hole transport property of PQ-GDY can accelerate the migration of photogenerated holes from NH2-UIO-66(Zr) to PQ-GDY and greatly reduce the recombination rate of photogenerated electrons and holes due to the strong interaction between PQ-GDY and NH2-UIO-66(Zr).Under visible light (λ≥420 nm),PQ-GDY@NH_(2)-UIO-66(Zr) shows high photocatalytic stability and high NO_(x)removal rate up to 74%,which is 44% higher than that of primitive NH_(2)-UIO-66(Zr).At the same time,it inhibits the formation of toxic byproducts (NO2) and limits its concentration to a low level.Qingyu Yang Shuangjun Li Rui Liang Lei Gao Shao Zhang Junfen Jia Yiran Liu Rundong Lyv Guisheng Li Shengxiong Xiao Dieqing Zhang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,12:0
18Modeling detector response function of alpha particles for neutron depth profiling显示文摘The energy spreading of recorded ions is influenced by straggling,geometrical acceptance angles and detector energy resolution effects in neutron depth profiling(NDP)and a symmetric Gaussian function model was customarily applied before.In addition,the spectra of mono-energetic alpha particles show a well known asymmetric shape as well when measured by silicon detectors.This article presents a physical model predicting the observed energy spectrum of a sample ion with target nuclides in prearranged depths.It is expressed as the convolution of a Gaussian function with a left-hand double-exponential function.Experiment showed that the predicted ions spectrum derived from the asymmetric model matches the observed energy spectrum.Therefore,the model can be applied to produce matrix for inversion of NDP spectrum.DOU HaiFeng LI RunDong XU JiaYun YUAN Shu TANG FengPing YANG Xin 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,1:0
