2Mesenchymal stem cells: Molecular characteristics and clinical applications显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are non-hematopoietic stem cells with the capacity to differentiate into tissues of both mesenchymal and non-mesenchymal origin. MSCs can differentiate into osteoblastic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic lineages, although recent studies have demonstrated that MSCs are also able to differentiate into other lineages, including neuronal and cardiomyogenic lineages. Since their original isolation from the bone marrow, MSCs have been successfully harvested from many other tissues. Their ease of isolation and ex vivo expansion combined with their immunoprivileged nature has made these cells popular candidates for stem cell therapies. These cells have the potential to alter disease pathophysiology through many modalities including cytokine secretion, capacity to differentiate along various lineages, immune modulation and direct cell-cell interaction with diseased tissue. Here we first review basic features of MSC biology including MSC characteristics in culture, homing mechanisms, differentiation capabilities and immune modulation. 4Perioperative chemotherapy for resectable gastric cancer:MAGIC and beyond显示文摘Over the last 15 years, there have been major advances in the multimodal treatment of gastric cancer, in large part due to several phase Ⅲ studies showing the treatment benefits of neoadjuvant and adjuvantchemotherapy and chemoradiation protocols. The objective of this editorial is to review the current highlevel evidence supporting the use of chemotherapy, chemoradiation and anti-HER2 agents in both the neoadjuvant and adjuvant settings, as well as to provide a clinical framework for use of this data based on our own institutional protocol for gastric cancer. Major studies reviewed include the SWOG/INT 0116, Medical Research Council Adjuvant Gastric Infusional Chemotherapy(MAGIC), CLASSIC, ACTS-GC, Adjuvant Chemoradiation Therapy in Stomach Cancer(ARTIST) and Trastuzumab for Gastric Cancer trials. Although these studies have demonstrated that multiple approaches in terms of the timing and therapy for gastric cancer are effective, no standard of care is widely accepted and questions regarding the optimal timing of chemotherapy, the benefit of radiotherapy, the minimum required extent of lymphadenectomy and optimal chemotherapy regimen still exist. Protocols from the upcoming ARTIST Ⅱ, CRITICS, TOPGEAR, Neo-AEGIS and MAGIC-B studies are outlined, and results from these studies will provide critical information regarding optimal timing and treatment regimen. 9热处理豆粕饲喂生长猪的氨基酸消化率显示文摘为测定热处理对豆粕(SBM)表观回肠消化率和标准回肠消化率(SID)的影响,本试验将常规去壳豆粕(48.5%蛋白)分成4组,一份未经额外热处理,一份在125℃下高压蒸汽处理15 min,一份在125℃下高压蒸汽处理30 min,另一份在125℃下烘箱烘干30 min。制定四种豆粕-玉米淀粉型日粮配方,且每个配方只能使用上述四种豆粕中的一种,作为每种日粮中唯一氨基酸来源。用无氮日粮配方来估算基础内源性氨基酸损失。分别在初始体重为(25.3±2.0)kg的10头阉公猪回肠末端安装一个T-型瘘管。采用5×5拉丁方设计法,将试验猪分成5个日粮处理组,5个重复处理周期。每个处理周期持续7 d,在第6天和第7天收集回肠食糜。试验结果表明,随着高压蒸汽处理时间(0~30 min)的延长,蛋白质和所有氨基酸的表观回肠消化率和标准回肠消化率呈线性降低(P<0.01)。糠氨酸含量和豆粕样品的颜色表明高压蒸汽处理导致豆粕产生美拉德反应。然而,125℃烘箱干燥30min并未改变豆粕中蛋白和氨基酸标准回肠消化率,也没有改变SBM的糠氨酸含量(P>0.10),且烘箱处理的样品颜色表明该样品并未受到热处理破坏。总之,热蒸汽处理时间从0 min增至30 min,高压蒸汽处理豆粕的氨基酸消化率呈线性降低,降低原因很可能是由于125℃高压蒸汽处理导致豆粕产生美拉德反应。González-Vega J C Kim B G Htoo J K Lemme A Stein H H 2015中国饲料2015,,24:8
10室内TDR试验监测石灰矿渣加固粘性土的物理化学反应过程(英文)显示文摘石灰矿渣和水泥矿渣常用于加固道路基层的粘性土。目前现场一般采用未加固土的最大干密度和最优含水率来评价加固土的压实施工质量。但是粘性土掺加了石灰后,发生了复杂的物理化学反应,使得其压实特性与未加固土有很大的不同。采用时域反射计监测石灰加固土内的物理化学反应过程。试验时将不同石灰矿渣掺和量和含水率的Orchard粘土通过标准击实试验夯实于击实筒中,用TDR监测其中的物理化学反应,针式贯入仪监测强度的增长。试验发现,电导率和介电常数的变化反应了土中的离子交换和硬化反应的过程。初始电导率(1d之内)的减小揭示了石灰矿渣的掺和量的大小,而长期电导率的减小揭示了强度的增长。试验表明,时域反射计技术可用于评价石灰加固土的施工质量。陈仁朋 DAITA R K DRNEVICH V P KIM D H 2006岩土工程学报2006,28,2:7

12Redefining Budd-Chiari syndrome:A systematic review显示文摘AIM:To re-examine whether hepatic vein thrombosis(HVT)(classical Budd-Chiari syndrome)and hepatic vena cava-Budd Chiari syndrome(HVC-BCS)are the same disorder.METHODS:A systematic review of observational studies conducted in adult subjects with primary BCS,hepatic vein outflow tract obstruction,membranous obstruction of the inferior vena cava(IVC),obliterative hepatocavopathy,or HVT during the period of January2000 until February 2015 was conducted using the following databases:Cochrane Library,CINAHL,MEDLINE,Pub Med and Scopus.RESULTS:Of 1299 articles identified,26 were included in this study.Classical BCS is more common in women with a pure hepatic vein obstruction(49%-74%).HVCBCS is more common in men with the obstruction often located in both the inferior vena cava and hepatic veins(14%-84%).Classical BCS presents with acute abdominal pain,ascites,and hepatomegaly.HVC-BCS presents with chronic abdominal pain and abdominalwall varices.Myeloproliferative neoplasms(MPN)are the most common etiology of classical BCS(16%-62%)with the JAK2V617-F mutation found in 26%-52%.In HVCBCS,MPN are found in 4%-5%,and the JAK2V617-F mutation in 2%-5%.Classical BCS responds well to medical management alone and 1st line management of HVC-BCS involves percutaneous recanalization,with few managed with medical management alone.CONCLUSION:Systematic review of recent data suggests that classical BCS and HVC-BCS may be two clinically different disorders that involve the disruption of hepatic venous outflow.Naomi Shin Young H Kim Hao Xu Hai-Bin Shi Qing-Qiao Zhang Jean Paul Colon Pons Ducksoo Kim Yi Xu Fei-Yun Wu Samuel Han Byung-Boong Lee Lin-Sun Li 2016World Journal of Hepatology2016,8,16:6
13Drug eluting biliary stents to decrease stent failure rates:Areview of the literature显示文摘Biliary stenting is clinically effective in relieving both malignant and non-malignant obstructions. However, there are high failure rates associated with tumor ingrowth and epithelial overgrowth as well as internally from biofilm development and subsequent clogging. Within the last decade, the use of prophylactic drug eluting stents as a means to reduce stent failure has been investigated. In this review we provide an overview of the current research on drug eluting biliary stents. 144-1BB signaling activates glucose and fatty acid metabolism to enhance CD8^(+) T cell proliferation显示文摘4-1BB(CD137)is a strong enhancer of the proliferation of CD8^(+)T cells.Since these cells require increased production of energy and biomass to support their proliferation,we hypothesized that 4-1BB signaling activated glucose and fatty acid metabolism.We found that treatment with agonistic anti-4-1BB mAb promoted the proliferation of CD8^(+)T cells in vitro,increasing their size and granularity.Studies with a glycolysis inhibitor and a fatty acid oxidation inhibitor revealed that CD8^(+)T cell proliferation required both glucose and fatty acid metabolism.Anti-4-1BB treatment increased glucose transporter 1 expression and activated the liver kinase B1(LKB1)-AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)-acetyl-CoA carboxylase(ACC)signaling pathway,which may be responsible for activating the metabolism of glucose and fatty acids.We also examined whether blocking glucose or fatty acid metabolism affected cell cycle progression and the anti-apoptotic effect of 4-1BB signaling.The increase of anti-apoptotic factors and cyclins in response to anti-4-1BB treatment was completely prevented by treating CD8^(+)T cells with the fatty acid oxidation inhibitor,etomoxir,but not with the glycolysis inhibitor,2-deoxy-D-glucose.We conclude that anti-4-1BB treatment activates glucose and fatty acid metabolism thus supporting the increased demand for energy and biomass,and that fatty acid metabolism plays a crucial role in enhancing the cell cycle progression of anti-CD3-activated CD8^(+)T cells in vitro and the anti-apoptotic effects of 4-1BB signaling on these cells.Beom K Choi Do Y Lee Don G Lee Young H Kim Seon-Hee Kim Ho S Oh Chungyong Han Byoung S Kwon 2017Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,9:6

17柔性直流输电并网风电厂的低电压穿越能力改进(英文)显示文摘To achieve active control of the AC voltage magnitude of wind power plant(WPP)collector network and improve the fault ride-through(FRT)capability,an FRT scheme based on feed forward DC voltage control is presented for voltage source converter-high voltage direct current(VSC-HVDC)connected offshore WPPs.During steady state operation,an open loop AC voltage control is implemented at the WPP-side VSC of the HVDC system so that any possible control interactions between WPP-side VSC and VSC of wind turbine are minimized.Whereas during any grid fault,a dynamic AC voltage reference is made according to both the DC voltage error and AC active current from the WPP collector system,thus ensuring fast and robust FRT of the VSC-HVDC-connected offshore WPPs.Under the unbalanced fault condition in the host power system,the resulting oscillatory DC voltage is directly used in the VSC AC voltage controller at the WPP side so that the WPP collector system voltage also reflects the unbalance in the main grid.Time domain simulations are performed to verify the efficacy of the FRT scheme based on the proposed feed forward DC voltage control.Simulation results show satisfactory FRT responses of the VSC-HVDC-connected offshore WPP under balanced and unbalanced faults in the host power system,as is shown under a serious fault in the WPP collector network.Ranjan SHARMA Qiuwei WU Seung Tae CHA Kim Hφj JENSEN Tony Wederberg RASMUSSEN Jacob ΦSTERGAARD 2015电力系统自动化2015,39,3:4
18Fecal lactoferrin accurately reflects mucosal inflammation in inflammatory bowel disease显示文摘BACKGROUND Studies have demonstrated a potential role for fecal biomarkers such as fecal calprotectin(FC)and fecal lactoferrin(FL)in monitoring inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)-Crohn's disease(CD)and ulcerative colitis(UC).However,their correlation to endoscopic scores,disease severity and affected intestinal surface has not been extensively investigated.AIM To correlate FL,and for comparison white blood cell(WBC)and C-reactive protein(CRP),with endoscopic scores,disease extent and location in CD and UC.METHODS Retrospective analysis in 188 patients who had FL,CRP and WBC determined within 30 d of endoscopy.Disease location,disease extent(number of intestinal segments involved),disease severity(determined by endoscopic scores),timing of FL testing in relation to colonoscopy,as well as the use of effective fast acting medications(steroids and biologics)between colonoscopy and FL measurement,were recorded.RESULTS In 131 CD and 57 UC patients,both CRP and FL-but not WBC-distinguished disease severity(inactive,mild,moderate,severe).In patients receiving fastacting(steroids or biologics)treatment in between FL and colonoscopy,FL showed a higher correlation to endoscopic scores when tested before vs after the procedure(r=0.596,P<0.001,vs r=0.285,P=0.15 for the Simple Endoscopic Score for CD;and r=0.402,P=0.01 vs r=0.054 P=0.84 for Disease Activity Index).Finally,FL was significantly correlated with the diseased mucosal surface(colon-ileocolon>small bowel)and the number of inflamed colon segments.CONCLUSION FL and CRP separated disease severity categories with FL showing lower discriminating P-values.FL showed a close correlation with the involved mucosal surface and with disease extent and was more closely correlated to endoscopy when determined before the procedure–this indicating that inflammatory activity changes associated with therapy might be rapidly reflected by FL levels.FL can accurately and timely characterize intestinal inflammation in IBD.Marrieth G Rubio Kofi Amo-Mensah James M Gray Vu Q Nguyen Sam Nakat Douglas Grider Kim Love James H Boone Dario Sorrentino 2019World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pathophysiology2019,10,5:4
19BK nephropathy in the native kidneys of patients with organ transplants: Clinical spectrum of BK infection显示文摘Nephropathy secondary to BK virus, a member of the Papoviridae family of viruses, has been recognized for some time as an important cause of allograft dysfunction in renal transplant recipients. In recent times, BK nephropathy(BKN) of the native kidneys has being increasingly recognized as a cause of chronic kidney disease in patients with solid organ transplants, bone marrow transplants and in patients with other clinical entities associated with immunosuppression. In such patients renal dysfunction is often attributed to other factors including nephrotoxicity of medications used to prevent rejection of the transplanted organs. Renal biopsy is required for the diagnosis of BKN. Quantitation of the BK viral load in blood and urine are surrogate diagnostic methods. The treatment of BKN is based on reduction of the immunosuppressive medications. Several compounds have shown antiviral activity, but have not consistently shown to have beneficial effects in BKN. In addition to BKN, BK viral infection can cause severe urinary bladder cystitis, ureteritis and urinary tract obstruction as well as manifestations in other organ systems including the central nervous system, the respiratory system, the gastrointestinal system and the hematopoietic system. BK viral infection has also been implicated in tumorigenesis. The spectrum of clinical manifestations from BK infection and infection from other members of the Papoviridae family is widening. 20Power management unit chip design for automobile active-matrix organic light-emitting diode display module显示文摘A power management unit (PMU) chip supplying dual panel supply voltage, which has a low electro-magnetic interference (EMI) characteristic and is favorable for miniaturization, is designed. A two-phase charge pump circuit using external pumping capacitor increases its pumping current and works out the charge-loss problem by using bulk-potential biasing circuit. A low-power start-up circuit is also proposed to reduce the power consumption of the band-gap reference voltage generator. And the ring oscillator used in the ELVSS power circuit is designed with logic devices by supplying the logic power supply to reduce the layout area. The PMU chip is designed with MagnaChip’s 0.25 μm high-voltage process.
