| 1 | LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating and phenocryst EPMA of dikes, Guocheng, Jiaodong Peninsula: Implications for North China Craton lithosphere evolution显示文摘Widespread dike swarm, including diorite-, monzonite-porphyry and lamprophyre, intruded in the al- tered breccia gold deposits along basin marginal faults, Guocheng, Jiaodong Peninsula. Petrography exhibits biotite enclaves in amphibole phenocrysts and the presence of acicular apatites in these dikes. Electron probe microanalyses (EPMA) show that the amphibole and clinopyroxene phenocryst’s mantle in diorite porphyry and lamprophyre respectively has sharply higher MgO (Mg#) and Cr2O3 contents in contrast to their cores. The plagioclase phenocryst in monzonite porphyry has reverse zoning. These results indicate that the magma mixing between mantle-derived mafic and crust-derived felsic magmas occurred in the original process of the dikes. Zircon cathodoluminescence (CL) images show well-developed magmatic oscillatory zones and the acquired LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages are 114±2 Ma (MSDW=1.5) for monzonite porphyry (GS1) and 116±1 Ma (MSDW=0.8) for diorite porphyry (GS2), respectively. Earlier magmatic events in the northwest Jiaodong Peninsula represented by some inherited or captured zircons also occur in these dikes. Magmatic zircons from GS1 and GS2 display consistent chondrite-normalized REE patterns and Nb/Ta values, implying that they may share a similar or same source. HREE enrichment and obvious negative Eu anomalies of these zircons preclude garnet presented in their source. Our results, combined with preciously pub- lished data, indicate that dike intrusion and gold mineralization among quartz vein, altered tectonite and altered breccia gold deposits are broadly contemporaneous throughout the Jiaodong Peninsula. | 2 | A versatile photodetector assisted by photovoltaic and bolometric effects显示文摘The advent of low-dimensional materials with peculiar structure and superb band properties provides a new canonical form for the development of photodetectors.However,the limited exploitation of basic properties makes it difficult for devices to stand out.Here,we demonstrate a hybrid heterostructure with ultrathin vanadium dioxide film and molybdenum ditelluride nanoflake.Vanadium dioxide is a classical semiconductor with a narrow bandgap,a high temperature coefficient of resistance,and phase transformation.Molybdenum ditelluride,a typical two-dimensional material,is often used to construct optoelectronic devices.The heterostructure can realize three different functional modes:(i)the p-n junction exhibits ultrasensitive detection(450 nm-2μm)with a dark current down to 0.2 pA and a response time of 17μs,(ii)the Schottky junction works stably under extreme conditions such as a high temperature of 400 K,and(iii)the bolometer shows ultrabroad spectrum detection exceeding 10μm.The flexible switching between the three modes makes the heterostructure a potential candidate for next-generation photodetectors from visible to longwave infrared radiation(LWIR).This type of photodetector combines versatile detection modes,shedding light on the hybrid application of novel and traditional materials,and is a prototype of advanced optoelectronic devices. | Wei Jiang Tan Zheng Binmin Wu Hanxue Jiao Xudong Wang Yan Chen Xiaoyu Zhang Meng Peng Hailu Wang Tie Lin Hong Shen Jun Ge Weida Hu Xiaofeng Xu Xiangjian Meng Junhao Chu Jianlu Wang | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Early Paleozoic adakite in the Liuyuan area from the Beishan orogenic belt,NW Gansu Province:Petrogenesis and implication for tectonic setting显示文摘The Liuyuan area,which is located on the southern margin of the Beishan orogenic belt,develops abundant Early Paleozic granitoids.SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating yielded a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age of 421±8 Ma for the Liuyuan granodiorite(Zhao Zehui et al.,2007),implying its Late Silurian intrusion.Geochemical compositions showed that the Liuyuan granodiorite is characterized by high SiO2(65.01%-67.31%),A12O3(17.17%-18.05%) and Na2O(Na2O/K2O=1.67-1.87) but low Mg# contents calculated as 100×Mg2+/(Mg2++∑Fe2+) from 28.77 to 31.15,as well as being enriched in Sr(472×10-6-517×10-6) but depleted in Yb(1.2×10-6-1.42×10-6) and Y(12.8×10-6-14×10-6).The REEs are characterized by right-inclined patterns with LREE enrichment,HREE depletion and slightly negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.91-0.97).Major and trace elements indicate that the granodiorite is an adakite.The Nb/Ta values of the granodiorite vary from 10.80 to 18.01 and Nb/U from 6.32 to 10.09,both lying between the values of the crust and the mantle.The rock has low εNd(t) values(-2.5--0.8) and high ISr(0.706321-0.706495).Geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions indicate that the Liuyuan granodiorite is possibly derived from partial melting of thickening lower crust,related to mantle underplating.The Yb-Ta and Y+Nb-Rb discriminant diagrams imply the Liuyuan granodiorite intruded in a local extensional tectonic setting during late collision.Combined with previous studies on geochronology,geochemistry and tectonic setting of granitoids,we interprete that the constraint of this adakite in the Liuyuan area indicates that the tectonic setting may have transformed from collision to extension during the Early Devonian. | Li, Yanjun Wei, Junhao Tan, Jun Fu, Lebing Liu, Xuntao Kong, Lingjun Jiang, Yongjian Shi, Wenjie | 2011 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,2: | 2 |

| 5 | Quantification constraints on time gap for comagmatic gold deposits:Evidence from chronological statistics显示文摘The time gap between diagenesis and mineralization (TGDM) for comagmatic gold deposits (CGD) plays an important role in confirming the genetic relationship between gold deposits and their related intrusions. With the help of preciously published isotopic ages of some typical gold deposits and their related rocks in China,the authors have discussed and quantified the distribution characteristics and scope of the TGDM. Statistical analyses and Kolmogorov tests showed that mineralizing events are either contemporaneous with or slightly postdate their cognate magma. The TGDM conforms with normal distributions at a 0.05 confidence level and clusters between 0 and 16.0 Ma with a mean of 7.0 Ma. Thus,if the TGDM of CGD is less than 16.0 Ma,it is reasonable to consider,with the aid of other evidence,the possibility of its comagmatic genetic affiliation. | 9 | VEGFR2 inhibition hampers breast cancer cell proliferation via enhanced mitochondrial biogenesis显示文摘Objective:Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),apart from its predominant roles in angiogenesis,can enhance cancer cell proliferation,but its mechanisms remain elusive.The purpose of the present study was therefore to identify how VEGF regulates cancer cell proliferation.Methods:VEGF effects on cancer cell proliferation were investigated with the VEGF receptor 2 inhibitor,Ki8751,and the breast cancer cell lines,MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231,using flow cytometry,mass spectrometry,immunoblotting,and confocal microscopy.Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s multiple comparison test.Results:VEGF blockade by Ki8751 significantly reduced cancer cell proliferation,and enhanced breast cancer cell apoptosis.Mass spectrometric analyses revealed that Ki8751 treatment significantly upregulated the expression of mitochondrial proteins,suggesting the involvement of mitochondrial biogenesis.Confocal microscopy and flow cytometric analyses showed that Ki8751 treatment robustly increased the mitochondrial masses of both cancer cells,induced endomitosis,and arrested cancer cells in the high aneuploid phase.VEGFR2 knockdown by sh RNAs showed similar effects to those of Ki8751,confirming the specificity of Ki8751 treatment.Enhanced mitochondrial biogenesis increased mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation and stimulated reactive oxygen species(ROS)production,which induced cancer cell apoptosis.Furthermore,Ki8751 treatment downregulated the phosphorylation of Akt and PGC1α,and translocated PGC1αinto the nucleus.The PGC1αalterations increased mitochondrial transcription factor A(TFAM)expression and subsequently increased mitochondrial biogenesis.Conclusions:VEGF enhances cancer cell proliferation by decreasing Akt-PGC1α-TFAM signaling-mediated mitochondrial biogenesis,ROS production,and cell apoptosis.These findings suggested the anticancer potential of Ki8751 via increased mitochondrial biogenesis and ROS production. | Hao Ni Min Guo Xuepei Zhang Lei Jiang Shuai Tan Juan Yuan Huanhuan L Cui Yanan Min Junhao Zhang Susanne Schlisio Chunhong Ma Wangjun Liao Monica Nister Chunlin Chen Shuijie Li Nailin Li | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1: | 0 |
| 10 | Optical control of transverse motion of ionization injected electrons in a laser plasma accelerator显示文摘We demonstrate an all-optical method for controlling the transverse motion of an ionization injected electron beam in a laser plasma accelerator by using the transversely asymmetrical plasma wakefield. The laser focus shape can control the distribution of a transversal wakefield. When the laser focus shape is changed from circular to slanted elliptical in the experiment, the electron beam profiles change from an ellipse to three typical shapes. The three-dimensional particlein-cell simulation result agrees well with the experiment, and it shows that the trajectories of these accelerated electrons change from undulating to helical. | 11 | Collimated gamma rays from laser wakefield accelerated electrons显示文摘Betatron radiation from laser wakefield accelerated electrons and X-rays scattered off a counter-propagating relativistic electron bunch arecollimated and hold the potential to extend the energy range to hard X-ray or gamma ray band. The peak brightness of these incoherent radiations could reach the level of the brightest synchrotron light sources in the world due to their femtosecond pulse duration and source sizedown to a few micrometers. In this article, the principle and properties of these radiation sources are briefly reviewed and compared. Then wepresent our recent progress in betatron radiation enhancement in the perspective of both photon energy and photon number. The enhancement istriggered by using a clustering gas target, arousing a second injection of a fiercely oscillating electron bunch with large charge or stimulating aresonantly enhanced oscillation of the ionization injected electrons. | 12 | LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating of the Kunlunguan A-type granites in Guangxi Province,South China and its geological significance显示文摘The Kunlunguan biotite granite pluton, located in the southwestern part of the Nanling Mesozoic granite belt, is controlled by the NW-trending Nandan-Kunlunguan deep fault. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating yielded a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age of 93.0±1 Ma (MSDW=1.7) for the main part of the pluton, implying its Late Creta-ceous intrusion. The Kunlunguan body is a high-K calc-alkaline rock characterized by high silicon, alkali and alu-minum, and low phosphorus and titanium. SiO2 contents of the Kunlunguan body range from 68.13% to 72.61% and K2O/Na2O ratios from 1.28 to 1.87. A/CNK values vary from 0.76 to 1.42, indicating a metaluminous to intensively peraluminous character. The rocks are enriched in Ga, Rb, Th, U and Pb but depleted in Ba, Nb, Sr, P and Ti. The REEs are characterized by remarkable negative Eu anomalies (Eu/Eu*=0.53-0.73) and exhibit right-inclined 'V'-shaped patterns with LREE enrichment. Petrology, major and trace elements data all indicate that the pluton is aluminous A-type granite which intruded in a post-collisional extensional tectonic setting. It is related to back-arc extension, reflecting high-angle subduction of the paleo-Pacific plate, caused by northward movement of the Indian plate.
