1Geochemical characteristics of natural gas from mud volcanoes in the southern Junggar Basin显示文摘A number of mud volcanoes exist in the southern Junggar Basin. To date few systematic studies on natural gas geochemistry of mud volcanoes have been conducted in China. In June 1991 and August 2010, the authors investigated the mud volcanoes in the southern Junggar Basin twice, and the mud volcanism weakened gradually as seen from the variations such as the decrease of gas pressure and output, the downthrow and dry up of the mud pool. The volcanic intensity was significantly weaker than that in Taiwan. The natural gas from the mud volcanoes in the southern Junggar Basin has similar geochemical characteristics, indicating the same source or origin. The main component of the mud volcano gas is alkane gas with contents of 91.15%-97.49%, and the gas is high-quality commercial gas since methane dominates in the alkane. The 13C1 values are 49.1‰--40.6‰, which are in accordance with the peak 13C1 frequency of mud volcano gas around the world, and the alkane gas displays positive carbon isotopic series, i.e., 13C1< 13C2< 13C3, suggesting typical thermogenic origin. The helium in the mud volcano gas is typically crust-derived due to the low R/Ra values of 0.011-0.054. The mud volcano gas is coal-derived since the 13C2 values are all greater than 28‰, and C1/C1-4 and 13C1 values are in accordance with those of natural gas derived from the Lower-Middle Jurassic coal-measures. 2Molecular characterization and expression analysis of a chicken-type lysozyme gene from housefly (Musca domestica)显示文摘Lysozymes can hydrolyze bacteria and play an important role in animal digestion and innate immunity. The cDNA of a chicken-type lysozyme gene (Mdlys) was cloned from housefly (Musca domestica). The 484 bp full-length cDNA contains a 426 bp open reading frame (ORF) that encodes MdLys of 141 amino acids. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the MdLys was similar to chicken-type lysozymes. Spatio-temporal expression of Mdlys was analyzed by RT-PCR. The Mdlys transcript can be detected in both midgut and fat body and was expressed at a relatively lower level at the embryo stage. Mdlys mRNA was upregulated 2 h post bacterial challenge, main-tained for 2 to 6 h, and slightly declined from 12 to 24 h post-injection. Western blot analysis showed that MdLys was highly expressed in midgut and was also detected in the hemolymph and fat body. MdLys expression was slightly increased in midgut after challenging with Escherichia coli or Staphylococcus aureus. Its expression was also slightly increased in the fat body after challenging with S. aureus, but no obvious change occurred after E. coli challenge. MdLys expression in the hemolymph was not affected by bacterial challenge. In the developmental stages, MdLys expression levels had no obvious change from the first instar to the pupae stage. There was also no varia-tion under 24 h starvation stress. Recombinant MdLys displayed inhibitory activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. 3Radio Channel Measurements and Analysis at 2.4/5GHz in Subway Tunnels显示文摘There is an increasing demand on wireless communications in subway tunnels to provide video surveillance and sensory data for security,maintenance and train control,and to offer various communication or entertainment services(e.g.,Internet,etc.) to passengers as well.The wireless channel in tunnels is quite unique due to the confined space and the waveguide effects.Therefore,modeling the radio channel characteristics in tunnels is critically important for communication systems design or optimization.This paper investigates the key radio channel characteristics of a subway tunnel at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz,such as the path loss,root mean square(RMS) delay spread,channel stationarity,Doppler shift,and channel capacity.The field measurements show that channel characteristics in tunnels are highly location-dependent and there exist abundant components in Doppler shift domain.In the straight section of the subway tunnel,the measured path loss exponents are close to1.6,lower than that in free space.LI Jinxing ZHAO Youping ZHANG Jing JIANG Rui TAO Cheng TAN Zhenhui 2015China Communications2015,12,1:9

5Bibliometric analysis and system review of vehicle routing optimization for emergency material distribution显示文摘Determining the optimal vehicle routing of emergency material distribution(VREMD)is one of the core issues of emergency management,which is strategically important to improve the effectiveness of emergency response and thus reduce the negative impact of large-scale emergency events.To summarize the latest research progress,we collected 511VREMD-related articles published from 2010 to the present from the Scopus database and conducted a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer software.Subsequently,we cautiously selected 49 articles from these publications for system review;sorted out the latest research progress in model construction and solution algorithms;and summarized the evolution trend of keywords,research gaps,and future works.The results show that domestic scholars and research organizations held an unqualified advantage regarding the number of published papers.However,these organizations with the most publications performed poorly regarding the number of literature citations.China and the US have contributed the vast majority of the literature,and there are close collaborations between researchers from both countries.The optimization model of VREMD can be divided into single-,multi-,and joint-objective models.The shortest travel time is the most common optimization objective in the single-objective optimization model.Several scholars focus on multiobjective optimization models to consider conflicting objectives simultaneously.In recent literature,scholars have focused on the impact of uncertainty and special events(e.g.,COVID-19)on VREMD.Moreover,some scholars focus on joint optimization models to optimize vehicle routes and central locations(or material allocation)simultaneously.Solution algorithms can be divided into two primary categories,i.e.,mathematical planning methods and intelligent evolutionary algorithms.The branch and bound algorithm is the most dominant mathematical planning algorithm,while genetic algorithms and their enhancements are the most commonly used intelligent evolutionary algorithms.It is shown that the nondominated sorting genetic algorithmⅡ(NSGA-Ⅱ)can effectively solve the multiobjective model of VREMD.To further improve the algorithm’s performance,researchers have proposed improved hybrid intelligent algorithms that combine the advantages of NSGA-Ⅱand certain other algorithms.Scholars have also proposed a series of optimization algorithms for specific scenarios.With the development of new technologies and computation methods,it will be exciting to construct optimization models that consider uncertainty,heterogeneity,and temporality for large-scale real-world issues and develop generalized solution approaches rather than those applicable to specific scenarios.Jinxing Shen Kun Liu Changxi Ma Yongpeng Zhao Chuwei Shi 2022Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2022,9,6:5
6An initial discussion on major controlling factors on formation of coal-formed large-medium sas fields显示文摘The so-called 'large-medium gas field' means a gas field with proven reserves equal to or larger than 100×108 m3. Up to 1997, 23 coal-formed great-medium fields are discovered in China, excluding two in Taiwan Province. Their proven reserves take 50.9% in total natural gas reserves. Therefore, the coal-formed great-medium gas field plays a decisive role in natural gas reserves and the study of their controlling factors is very important both in theory and in practice. 8Three-dimensional reconstruction of Picea wilsonii Mast. pollen grains using automated electron microscopy显示文摘Three-dimensional electron microscopy(3 D-EM) has attracted considerable attention because of its ability to provide detailed information with respect to developmental analysis. However, large-scale high-resolution 3 D reconstruction of biological samples remains challenging. Herein, we present a 3 D view of a Picea wilsonii Mast. pollen grain with 100 nm axial and38.57 nm lateral resolution using AutoCUTS-SEM(automatic collector of ultrathin sections-scanning electron microscopy). We established a library of 3,127 100 nm thick serial sections of pollen grains for preservation and observation, demonstrating that the protocol can be used to analyze large-volume samples. After obtaining the SEM images, we reconstructed an entire pollen grain comprising 734 serial sections. The images produced by 3D reconstruction clearly revealed the main components of the P.wilsonii pollen grain, i.e., two sacci and pollen corpus, tube cell, generative cell, and two degenerated prothallial cells, and their internal organization. In addition, we performed a quantitative analysis of the different pollen grain cells, including sacci, and found that there were 202 connections within a saccus SEM image. 10NIR-to-NIR UCL/T_1-weighted MR/CT multimodal imaging by NaYbF_4:Tm@NaGdF_4:Yb-PVP upconversion nanoparticles显示文摘Multimodal imaging nanoprobes are urgently sought because they can integrate different imaging function into individual nanoplatform and provide more comprehensive and accurate information for the diagnosis of early-stage tumor.Lanthanide-based upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs) are regarded as promising nanoplatforms to fabricate these probes.Herein,we firstly developed the active core-active shell structured NaYbF_4:Tm@NaGdF_4:Yb-PVP UCNPs with the average diameter of 13.23±0.96 nm as multimodal imaging probes.These water-dispersible nanoprobes presented excellent near-infrared to near-infrared(NIR-to-NIR) upconversion luminescence(UCL) performance,which is favorable for optical bioimaging due to deeper tissue penetration and autofluorescence reduction.After coated with the NaGdF_4:Yb active shell,the UCL emission intensity at 800 nm increased by 7.2 times.These nanoprobes exhibited a desirable longitudinal relaxivity(r_1=3.58 L/(mmol s)) and strong X-ray attenuation property(58.84 HU L/g).The cytotoxicity assessment,histology analysis and biodistribution study revealed that NaYbF_4:Tm@NaGdF_4:Yb-PVP UCNPs had relatively low cytotoxicity and negligible organ toxicity.These UCNPs were applied for NIR-to-NIR UCL imaging in vivo.More importantly,the detection of small tumor was successfully achieved under T_1-weighted MRI and CT imaging modalities after intravenous injection of these UCNPs.These results revealed that NaYbF_4:Tm@NaGdF_4:Yb-PVP UCNPs could serve as promising NIR-to-NIR UCL/MRI/CT trimodal imaging probes.Tao Wang Min Yang Jiahui Huang Yanzhi Zhao Honglei Wang Shuang Leng Jinxing Chen Guoying Sun Jianhua Liu 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,13:2

13Preparation of nitrogen doped clews-like carbon materials and their application as the electrode in supercapacitor显示文摘In this work, nitrogen doped clews-like carbon materials were successfully fabricated through hydrothermal polymerization method, followed by post treatment that integrated the carbonization,activation and post-nitrogen doping into one process. This preparation method can form particular hierarchical porous structure without using any sacrificial templates. The experimental results show that the nitrogen doped clews-like hierarchical porous carbon materials possess a relatively high specific surface area of 815 m^2/g with the nitrogen content of 10.58 at%. The electrochemical properties show that the resulting sample delivers 258 F/g at a 0.5 A/g and excellent capacity retention of 79% at 20 A/g. 18Global COVID-19 Pandemic Waves: Limited Lessons Learned Worldwide over the Past Year显示文摘The occurrence of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)was followed by a small burst of cases around the world;afterward,due to a series of emergency non-pharmaceutical interventions(NPIs),the increas-ing number of confirmed cases slowed down in many countries.However,the lifting of control measures by the government and the public’s loosening of precautionary behaviors led to a sudden increase in cases,arousing deep concern across the globe.arousing deep concern across the globe.This study evaluates the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in countries and territories worldwide from January 2020 to February 2021.According to the time-varying reproduction number(R(t))of each country or territory,the results show that almost half of the countries and territories in the world have never controlled the epidemic.Among the countries and territories that had once contained the occurrence,nearly half failed to maintain their prevention and control,causing the COVID-19 pandemic to rebound across the world—resulting in even higher waves in half of the rebounding countries or territories.This work also proposes and uses a time-varying country-level transmission risk score(CTRS),which takes into account both R(t)and daily new cases,to demonstrate country-level or territory-level transmission potential and trends.Time-varying hierarchical clustering of time-varying CTRS values was used to successfully reveal the countries and territories that contributed to the recent aggravation of the global pandemic in the last quarter of 2020 and the beginning of 2021,and to identify countries and territories with an increasing risk of COVID-19 transmission in the near future.Furthermore,a regression analysis indicated that the introduction and relaxation of NPIs,including workplace closure policies and stay-at-home requirements,appear to be associated with recent global transmission changes.In conclu-sion,a systematic evaluation of the global COVID-19 pandemic over the past year indicates that the world is now in an unexpected situation,with limited lessons learned.Summarizing the lessons learned could help in designing effective public responses for constraining future waves of COVID-19 worldwide.Yongyue Wei Jinxing Guan Xiao Ning Yuelin Li Liangmin Wei Sipeng Shen Ruyang Zhang Yang Zhao Hongbing Shen Feng Chen 2022Engineering2022,8,6:1
