A review of topology optimization for additive manufacturing:Status and challenges显示文摘Topology optimization was developed as an advanced structural design methodology to generate innovative lightweight and high-performance configurations that are difficult to obtain with conventional ideas.Additive manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing technique building asdesigned structures via layer-by-layer joining material, providing an alternative pattern for complex components. The integration of topology optimization and additive manufacturing can make the most of their advantages and potentials, and has wide application prospects in modern manufacturing. This article reviews the main content and applications of the research on the integration of topology optimization and additive manufacturing in recent years, including multi-scale or hierarchical structural optimization design and topology optimization considering additive manufacturing constraints.Meanwhile, some challenges of structural design approaches for additive manufacturing are discussed, such as the performance characterization and scale effects of additively manufactured lattice structures, the anisotropy and fatigue performance of additively manufactured material, and additively manufactured functionally graded material issues, etc. It is shown that in the research of topology optimization for additive manufacturing, the integration of material, structure, process and performance is important to pursue high-performance,multi-functional and lightweight production. This article provides a reference for further related research and aerospace applications. | Jihong ZHU Han ZHOU Chuang WANG Lu ZHOU Shangqin YUAN Weihong ZHANG | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,1: | 33
Multi-scale design and optimization for solid-lattice hybrid structures and their application to aerospace vehicle components显示文摘By integrating topology optimization and lattice-based optimization,a novel multi-scale design method is proposed to create solid-lattice hybrid structures and thus to improve the mechanical performance as well as reduce the structural weight. To achieve this purpose,a two-step procedure is developed to design and optimize the innovative structures.Initially, the classical topology optimization is utilized to find the optimal material layout and primary load carrying paths.Afterwards, the solid-lattice hybrid structures are reconstructed using the finite element mesh based modeling method. And lattice-based optimization is performed to obtain the optimal crosssection area of the lattice structures. Finally, two typical aerospace structures are optimized to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed optimization framework. The numerical results are quite encouraging since the solid-lattice hybrid structures obtained by the presented approach show remarkably improved performance when compared with traditional designs. | Chuang WANG Jihong ZHU Manqiao WU Jie HOU Han ZHOU Lu MENG Chenyang LI Weihong ZHANG | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,5: | 14
The secretion profile of mesenchymal stem cells and potential applications in treating human diseases显示文摘Mesenchymal stromal/stem cells(MSCs)possess multi-lineage differentiation and self-renewal potentials.MSCs-based therapies have been widely utilized for the treatment of diverse inflammatory diseases, due to the potent immunoregulatory functions of MSCs.An increasing body of evidence indicates that MSCs exert their therapeutic effects largely through their paracrine actions.Growth factors, cytokines, chemokines, extracellular matrix components, and metabolic products were all found to be functional molecules of MSCs in various therapeutic paradigms. These secretory factors contribute to immune modulation, tissue remodeling, and cellular homeostasis during regeneration. In this review,we summarize and discuss recent advances in our understanding of the secretory behavior of MSCs and the intracellular communication that accounts for their potential in treating human diseases. | Yuyi Han Jianxin Yang Jiankai Fang Yipeng Zhou Eleonora Candi Jihong Wang Dong Hua Changshun Shao Yufang Shi | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 6
TXNDC5 synergizes with HSC70 to exacerbate the inflammatory phenotype of synovial fibroblasts in rheumatoid arthritis through NF-κB signaling显示文摘The upregulated expression of thioredoxin domain-containing protein 5(TXNDC5)is associated with rheumatoid arthritis in patients and model mice. However, the underlying mechanism by which TXNDC5 influences the pathological activation of rheumatoid arthritis synovial fibroblasts(RASFs)remains unknown. In this study,we show that TXNDC5 expression in RASFs and their cytokine production are significantly upregulated in response to LPS,TNF-αand IL-6,but suppressed by transfection with TXNDC5-siRNA.TXNDC5 is further validated as the direct target of NF-κB signaling.Mechanistically,TXNDC5 directly interacts with heat shock cognate 70 protein(HSC70)to sequester it in the cytoplasm, and HSC70 silencing exerts the same effects as TXNDC5 on the biological activity of RASFs(for example, decreased cell viability, invasion and cytokine production).Furthermore,HSC70 activates NF-κB signaling by destabilizing IκBβprotein in the absence of LPS or facilitating its nuclear translocation in the presence of LPS.Importantly,TXNDC5 can also regulate the activity of NF-κB signaling in a HSC70-IκBβ-dependent manner.Taken together,by linking HSC70 and NF-κB signaling,TXNDC5 plays a pro-inflammatory role in RASFs,highlighting a potential approach to treat RA by blocking the TXNDC5/HSC70 interaction. | Lin Wang Hongyan Dong Guanhua Song Rui Zhang Jihong Pan Jinxiang Han | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,7: | 5
Outline of Metallogenic Regularity of Bauxite Deposits in China显示文摘Among the abundant aluminum ore resources in China, bauxite is dominated, which is mainly distributed in 19 provinces and regions, including Shanxi, Henan, Guizhou and Guangxi. The major deposit type of bauxite is paleo-weathering crust sedimentary type, and the other one is the accumulation type. The main metallogenic period is the late Paleozoic Era followed by the Cenozoic Era. The metallogenic tectonic background is characterized by a cratonic environment. This paper summarizes the bauxite metallogenic regularity based on the characteristics of bauxite resources, bauxite deposit type, bauxite metallogenic belt and metallogenic series in China, and 15 bauxite metallogenic belts, 8 bauxite metallogenic series and 7 bauxite ore concentrated areas were identified in the study. This paper also provides a theoretical basis for the evaluation of the potential of bauxite resources. | GAO Lan LI Jihong WANG Denghong XIONG Xiaoyun YI Chengwei HAN Meizhi | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,6: | 4
Earthquake Electromagnetic Precursor Anomalies Detected by a New Ground-based Observation Network显示文摘It is a debated topic if there are any observable precursor anomalies prior to the earthquake(EQ hereafter)and if the stronger EQ can be successfully predicted.During last few decades quite a lot of observable electromagnetic(EM)precursors were published by using techniques equipped in either satellites or on ground-based stations. But there are only a few cases that the shortterm precursor anomalies of EM field before earthquakes were observed by using alternate EM fields on ground. This paper will present a new EM observation network built in recent years and show a new finding of EM field with the variation of a one-year cycle observed using the network. As an example, the short-term precursor anomalies of apparent resistivity before the Yangbi EQ(Ms 5.1)occurred on March 27,2017 in Yunnan Province will be studied. The observed anomalous phenomena indicate that the anomaly before the EQ can be captured only if reasonable effective methods including sophisticated analytical techniques are used, and it is believed that continuously observed data on the fixed observation network for a long time is an effective means for studying anomalies that appeared before earthquakes. This network can also play an important role in studying the EM environment from space. | Bing HAN Guoze ZHAO Lifeng WANG Ji TANG Yaxin BI Yan ZHAN Xiaobin CHEN Qibin XIAO Jihong ZHANG | 2021 | Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2021,4,1: | 3
Competing endogenous RNA screening based on long noncoding RNA-messenger RNA co-expression profile in Hepatitis B virus-associated hepatocarcinogenesis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To profile the liver cancer specific long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs) and competing endogenous RNA(ce RNA) networks of Hepatitis B virus(HBV)-associated hepatocarcinogensis(HCG) and to examine the effect of compound K on the expression of identified ce RNA networks.METHODS: Based on lnc RNA and messenger RNA(m RNA) microarray data of HBV-associated liver cancer, the current study profiles the cancer specific lnc RNAs and ce RNA networks of HBV-associated HCG through comprehensive application of Reg RNA 2, mi RTar Base and Pearson correlation coefficient analysis. Compound K-treated liver cancer cells were harvested for analysis of transcriptional levels of both enoyl-Co A hydratase and 3-hydroxyacyl Co A dehydrogenase(EHHADH)-AS1 and ENTPD5.RESULTS: The results revealed that 11 Encyclopedia of DNA Elements annotated lnc RNAs were differentially expressed in the process of HBV-associated HCG. Among these lnc RNAs, 95 potential ce RNA networks with highly positively correlated expression profiles between the interacting lnc RNAs and m RNAs(Pearson correlation coefficient ≥ 0.7) were constructed. Of note, two HBV-associated ce RNA networks, EHHADH-AS1-hsa-mi R-4459-ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 5 and LINC01018-hsa-mi RNA-574-5p-glucose-6-phosphatase catalytic subunit, with Pearson correlation coefficient ≥ 0.9, may play a critical role in hepatocellular carcinoma development, which was supported by experimental evidence. Interestingly, compound K, an intestinal bacterial metabolite of ginseng protopanaxadiol saponin, which has been proven to promote apoptosis of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells, was found to impede the down-regulation of EHHADH-AS1 in several liver cancer cell lines including Hep G3 B, Huh-7 and plc/prf/5 cells.CONCLUSION: Comprehensive application of co-expression network analysis and prediction of RNA interaction may be a feasible strategy to unravel the potential ce RNA networks involved in the process of human diseases. | Wen Quan Yang Yao Chen Xianhua Pan Xiaodong Han Qi Wang Dong Deng Youcai Li Xiaohui Yan Jun Zhou Jihong | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,4: | 3
Regulation of cholesterol homeostasis in health and diseases:from mechanisms to targeted therapeutics显示文摘Disturbed cholesterol homeostasis plays critical roles in the development of multiple diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases(CVD),neurodegenerative diseases and cancers, particularly the CVD in which the accumulation of lipids(mainly the cholesteryl esters)within macrophage/foam cells underneath the endothelial layer drives the formation of atherosclerotic lesions eventually.More and more studies have shown that lowering cholesterol level, especially low-density lipoprotein cholesterol level, protects cardiovascular system and prevents cardiovascular events effectively.Maintaining cholesterol homeostasis is determined by cholesterol biosynthesis,uptake,efflux,transport,storage,utilization,and/or excretion. All the processes should be precisely controlled by the multiple regulatory pathways.Based on the regulation of cholesterol homeostasis, many interventions have been developed to lower cholesterol by inhibiting cholesterol biosynthesis and uptake or enhancing cholesterol utilization and excretion.Herein,we summarize the historical review and research events, the current understandings of the molecular pathways playing key roles in regulating cholesterol homeostasis, and the cholesterol-lowering interventions in clinics or in preclinical studies as well as new cholesterol-lowering targets and their clinical advances.More importantly,we review and discuss the benefits of those interventions for the treatment of multiple diseases including atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases, obesity, diabetes, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, osteoporosis and virus infection. | Yajun Duan Ke Gong Suowen Xu Feng Zhang Xianshe Meng Jihong Han | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9: | 3
Optimal Active Defence Using Dynamic Multi-Stage Signalling Game显示文摘Nowadays, security defence of network uses the game theory, which mostly applies complete information game model or even the static game model. To get closer to the actual network and defend actively, we propose a network attack-defence game model by using signalling game, which is modelled in the way of dynamic and incomplete information. We improve the traditional attack-defence strategies quantization method to meet the needs of the network signalling game model. Moreover, we give the calculation of the game equilibrium and analyse the optimal defence scheme. Finally, we analyse and verify effectiveness of the model and method through a simulation experiment. | ZHANG Hengwei LI Tao WANG Jindong HAN Jihong | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,S2: | 2
Compound Danshen Dripping Pill inhibits hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure in ApoE and LDLR dual deficient mice via multiple mechanisms显示文摘Heart failure is the leading cause of death worldwide.Compound Danshen Dripping Pill(CDDP)or CDDP combined with simvastatin has been widely used to treat patients with myocardial infarction and other cardiovascular diseases in China. However, the effect of CDDP on hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure is unknown. We constructed a new model of heart failure induced by hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis in apolipoprotein E(ApoE)and LDL receptor(LDLR)dual deficient(ApoE^(–/–)LDLR^(–/–))mice and investigated the effect of CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin on the heart failure.CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin inhibited heart injury by multiple actions including anti-myocardial dysfunction and anti-fibrosis.Mechanistically,both Wnt and lysine-specific demethylase 4A(KDM4A)pathways were significantly activated in mice with heart injury.Conversely,CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin inhibited Wnt pathway by markedly up-regulating expression of Wnt inhibitors. While the anti-inflammation and anti-oxidative stress by CDDP were achieved by inhibiting KDM4A expression and activity. In addition,CDDP attenuated simvastatin-induced myolysis in skeletal muscle.Taken together, our study suggests that CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin can be an effective therapy to reduce hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure. | Yanfang Yang Ke Feng Liying Yuan Yuxin Liu Mengying Zhang Kaimin Guo Zequn Yin Wenjia Wang Shuiping Zhou He Sun Kaijing Yan Xijun Yan Xuerui Wang Yajun Duan Yunhui Hu Jihong Han | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,3: | 2

One-Pot Three-Dimensional Printing Robust Self-Supporting MnO_(x)/Cu-SSZ-13 Zeolite Monolithic Catalysts for NH_(3)-SCR显示文摘Honeycomb cordierite coated with Cu-SSZ-13 zeolite is widely used for the selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x) with NH_(3)(NH_(3)-SCR)to reduce pollutants from vehicle emissions. However, conventional honeycomb catalysts fabricated via coating techniques are limited by low zeolite loadings, loss of the deposited zeolites, and complicated preparation processes.Herein,a facile,one-step three-dimensional(3D)printing strategy is developed to construct MnO_(x)/Cu-SSZ-13 monolithic catalysts with excellent catalytic performance for NH_(3)-SCR.Iron-containing halloysite nanotubes(Fe-HNTs)are introduced as printing ink additives to ensure mechanical stability and modulate the NH_(3)-SCR performance of monolithic catalysts in high temperature conditions. In situ incorporation of Mn into the Cu-SSZ-13 zeolite monoliths during the 3D printing process boosts the mechanical strength of the monolithic structures from 2.54 MPa to 4.33 MPa as well as broadens the temperature window(165-550℃)of the catalysts for NH_(3)-SCR with NO_(x) conversion of above 80%.Such robust multicomponent-integrated 3D-printed selfsupporting catalysts not only possess high zeolite loading and excellent catalytic activity, but also avoid complicated manufacturing processes, which contrasts with conventional honeycomb catalysts fabricated by extrusion coupled with coating. | Yingzhen Wei Mengyang Chen Xiaoyu Ren Qifei Wang Jinfeng Han Wenzheng Wu Xiangguang Yang Shuang Wang Jihong Yu | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,5: | 1
Security Defence Policy Selection Method Using the Incomplete Information Game Model显示文摘Nowadays, the network defence policy selection using game model of incomplete information ignores the type of the defender, which quantifies cost simply, resulting in unreasonable defence policies selection. Aiming at the problem, we use Bayesian game theory to model the active defence policy selection. We take the types of both the attacker and the defender into consideration. Besides, the traditional quantization method is enhanced. Then, we calculate the equilibrium of static Bayesian game. Based on the analysis of the equilibrium, we select the optimal defence policy through the prediction for attackers' actions. The paper calculates the defence effectiveness of defence policies and provides a defence policies selection algorithm. Ultimately, we present an example to verify the effectiveness of the method and model proposed in the paper. | ZHANG Hengwei YU Dingkun WANG Jindong HAN Jihong WANG Na | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,S2: | 1

Enhancement of red upconversion emission intensity of Ho^(3+) ions in NaLuF4:Yb^(3+)/Ho^(3+)/Ce^(3+)@NaLuF_(4) core-shell nanoparticles显示文摘The red upconversion emission of Ho^(3+)ions,in the optical window of biological tissue, exhibits excellent prospects in biological applications. This study aims to enhance the red upconversion emission intensity of Ho^(3+)ions in NaLuF_(4):20%Yb^(3+)/2%Ho^(3+)/12%Ce^(3+) nanoparticles through building different core–shell structures with different excitation wavelengths.A significantly enhanced red upconversion emission with a higher red-to-green ratio was successfully obtained in NaLuF_(4):20%Yb^(3+)/2%Ho^(3+)/12%Ce^(3+)@NaLuF_(4) core–shell nanoparticles by introducing the Yb^(3+)and Yb^(3+)/Nd^(3+)ions into the NaLuF_(4) shell, with enhancement of the red emission occurring when Yb^(3+)and Nd^(3+)ions in the shell transfer more excitation energy to the Ho^(3+)ions.Investigation of the red emission enhancement mechanism is based on spectral characteristics and lifetimes. We examined the synergistic effect of dual-wavelength co-excitation NaLuF_(4):20%Yb^(3+)/2%Ho^(3+)/12%Ce^(3+)@NaLuF_(4):10%Yb^(3+)/15%Nd^(3+)core–shell nanoparticles to establish optimal excitation conditions. It is hoped that this method, using red upconversion emission core–shell nanoparticles with multi-mode excitation, can provide new ways to expand the applications of rare-earth luminescent materials in biomedicine and anti-counterfeiting. | Wei Gao Xiaotong Cheng Yu Xing Shanshan Han Binhui Chen Qingyan Han Xuewen Yan Jihong Liu Lin Liu Jun Dong | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,4: | 1
