1Preparation and properties of novel PIPD fibers显示文摘Poly[2, 6-diimidazo (4,5-b:4’,5’-e) pyridinylene-1,4(2,5-dihydroxy) phenylen] (PIPD) was synthesized and the obtained PIPD/ PPA dope was directly spun into fibers via a dry-jet wet-spinning process for the first time. The obtained polymers were mainly characterized by ATR-FTIR and dynamic contact angle analysis. FTIR spectrum of the PIPD fibers indicates that the product was consistent with the target product. The contact angle measurements show that the wetting process of water on PIPD fibers is apparently faster than that on PBO fibers. The axial compression bending test indicates that PIPD fibers showed larger compressive strength compared with that of PBO fibers under the same axial compressive load. 2Introduction of fluorin into PBO polymer chains:Toward higher thermal stability and lower dielectric constant显示文摘A series of novel fluorinated benzoxazole polymers (6FPBO's) with high thermal stability and low dielectric constant were synthesized by copolymerization of 1,3-diamino-4, 6-dihydroxybenzene dihy-drochloride (DAR), 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid (PTA) and various amount of 4'4- (hexafluoroisopro-pylidene) bis (benzoic acid) (BIS-B-AF) in the medium of polyphosphoric acid (PPA). 6FPBO fibers were then obtained via dry-jet wet-spinning technique and characterized by means of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), single fiber tensile testing machine and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). FTIR spectrum of 6FPBO fibers indicated that the fluorine groups had been incorporated into PBO molecular chains successfully. TGA curves revealed that 6FPBO fibers possessed high thermal stability just as pure PBO fibers. 4Abundance and diversity of ammonia-oxidizing archaea in response to various habitats in Pearl River Delta of China, a subtropical maritime zone显示文摘Ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA) are widely considered key to ammonia oxidation in various environments.However,little work has been conducted to simultaneously investigate the abundance and diversity of AOA as well as correlations between archaeal amoA genotypes and environmental parameters of different ecosystems at one district.To understand the abundance,diversity,and distribution of AOA in Pearl River Delta of China in response to various habitats,the archaeal amoA genes in soil,marine,river,lake,hot spring and wastewater treatment plant(WWTP) samples were investigated using real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR and clone libraries.Our analyses indicated that the diversity of AOA in various habitats was different and could be clustered into five major clades,i.e.,estuary sediment,marine water/sediment,soil,hot spring and Cluster 1.Phylogenetic analyses revealed that the structure of AOA communities in similar ecological habitats exhibited strong relation.The canonical correspondence method indicated that the AOA community structure was strongly correlated to temperature,pH,total organic carbon,total nitrogen and dissolved oxygen variables.Assessing AOA amoA gene copy numbers,ranging from 6.84 × 106 to 9.45 × 107 copies/g in dry soil/sediment,and 6.06 × 106 to 2.41 × 107 copies/L in water samples,were higher than ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB) by 1-2 orders of magnitude.However,AOA amoA copy numbers were much lower than AOB in WWTP activated sludge samples.Overall,these studies suggested that AOA may be a major contributor to ammonia oxidation in natural habitats but play a minor role in highly aerated activated sludge.The result also showed the ratio of AOA to AOB amoA gene abundance was positively correlated with temperature and less correlated with other environmental parameters.New data from our study provide increasing evidence for the relative abundance and diversity of ammonia-oxidizing archaea in the global nitrogen cycle.Zhixin Li Wenbiao Jin Zhaoyun Liang Yangyang Yue Junhong Lv 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:3

6Effect of coagulation temperature on structures and properties of poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (DHPBO) fibers during dry-jet wet-spinning process显示文摘The effect of coagulation temperature on the morphology, microstructures and mechanical properties of dihydroxy poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (DHPBO) fibers was investigated during dry-jet wet- spinning process, in which the coagulation bath concentration and drawn ratio were kept as 10 wt% of PPA in water and 1.7, respectively. The structures and mechanical properties of the as-spun DHPBO fibers were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM, and single fiber tensile testing. 7Synthesis of 1,8-naphthalimide-based fluorescent nano-probes and their application in pH detection显示文摘Two kinds of fluorescent nano-probes(pH-A and pH-B) with different diameters for the determination of H+concentration, based on photo-induced electron transfer mechanism, were synthesized through click reaction. In which 1,8-naphthalimide was employed as the fluorophore and N,N-dimethylethylenediamine as the receptor. The effects of particle size and linker length on the photophysical properties of the probe were studied. The results revealed that the nano-probes were more sensitive toward pH with increasing particle size. The fluorescence intensity at 529 nm(I529) of the nano-probe p H-A of 120 nm exhibited good linear relationship with solution's pH in the range of 6–8.
