1Intra-continental back-arc basin inversion and Late Carboniferous magmatism in Eastern Tianshan,NW China:Constraints from the Shaquanzi magmatic suite显示文摘The Yamansu belt,an important tectonic component of Eastern Tianshan Mountains,of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt,NW China hosts many Fe-(Cu)deposit.In this study,we present new zircon U-Pb geochronology and geochemical data of the volcanic rocks of Shaquanzi Formation and diorite intrusions in the Yamansu belt.The Shaquanzi Formation comprises mainly basalt,andesite/andesitic tuff,rhyolite and sub-volcanic diabase with local diorite intrusions.The volcanic rocks and diorites contain ca.315-305 Ma and ca.298 Ma zircons respectively.These rocks show calc-alkaline affinity with enrichment in large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs),light rare-earth elements(LREEs),and depletion in high field strength elements(HFSEs)in primitive mantle normalized multi-element diagrams,which resemble typical back-arc basin rocks.They show depleted mantle signature with ε_(Nd)(t)ranging from+3.1 to +5.6 for basalt;+2.1 to+4.7 for andesite;-0.2 to+1.5 for rhyolite and the ε_(Hf)(t)ranges from-0.1 to +13.0 for andesites;+5.8 to +10.7 for andesitic tuffs.We suggest that the Shaquanzi Formation basalt might have originated from a depleted,metasomatized lithospheric mantle source mixed with minor(3-5%)subduction-derived materials,whereas the andesite and rhyolite could be fractional crystallization products of the basaltic magma.The Shaquanzi Formation volcanic rocks could have formed in an intracontinental back-arc basin setting,probably via the southward subduction of the Kangguer Ocean beneath the Middle Tianshan Massif.The Yamansu mineralization belt might have undergone a continental arc to back-arc basin transition during the Late Carboniferous and the intra-continental back-arc basin might have closed in the Early Permian,marked by the emplacement of dioritic magma in the Shaquanzi belt.Hongjun Jiang Jinsheng Han Huayong Chen Yi Zheng Wanjian Lu Gang Deng Zhixiong Tan 2017Geoscience Frontiers2017,8,6:11

4Two-dimensional self-organization of 1-nonanethiol-capped gold nanoparticles显示文摘A two-dimensional (2D) ordered hexagonal close-packed structure, formed by 1-nonanethiol-capped gold nanoparticles, is reported. The structure was constructed only by dipping the gold nanoparticle colloidal solution on flat substrate. The gold nanoparticles were synthesized as follows: First, AuCl4-1 was transferred from aqueous solution to toluene by the phase-transfer reagent of tetraoc-tylanunonium bromide. Then it was reduced with aqueous sodium borohydride in the presence of a given amount of 1-nonanethiol molecules which was used to control the nu-cleation and growth of the gold nanoparticles for the desired size. The experimental techniques, such as UV-Vis, FT-IR, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), were employed to characterize the obtained product. 5Baicalin inhibits colistin sulfate-induced apoptosis of PC12 cells显示文摘Baicalin,a type of flavonoid extracted from the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis georgi,has been shown to effectively inhibit cell apoptosis.Therefore,we assumed that baicalin would suppress colistin sulfate-induced neuronal apoptosis.PC12 cells exposed to colistin sulfate(62.5–500μg/mL)for 24 hours resulted in PC12 cell apoptosis.In addition,caspase-3 activity,lactate dehydrogenase level and free radical content increased in a dose-dependent manner.Subsequently,PC12 cells were pretreated with baicalin(25,50 and 100μg/mL),and exposed to 125μg/mL colistin sulfate.Cell morphology markedly changed,and cell viability increased.Moreover,caspase-3 activity,lactate dehydrogenase level and free radical content decreased.Results indicated that baicalin inhibited colistin sulfate-induced PC12 cell apoptosis by suppressing free radical injury,and reducing caspase-3 activity and lactate dehydrogenase activity.Hong Jiang Pengfei Lv Jichang Li Hongjun Wang Tiezhong Zhou Yingzi Liu Wei Lin 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,28:4
6Pathological features of COVID-19-associated lung injury:a preliminary proteomics report based on clinical samples显示文摘The COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as a global health emergency due to its association with severe pneumonia and relative high mortality.However,the molecular characteristics and pathological features underlying COVID-19 pneumonia remain largely unknown.To characterize molecular mechanisms underlying COVID-19 pathogenesis in the lung tissue using a proteomic approach,fresh lung tissues were obtained from newly deceased patients with COVID-19 pneumonia.After virus inactivation,a quantitative proteomic approach combined with bioinformatics analysis was used to detect proteomic changes in the SARS-CoV-2-infected lung tissues.We identified significant differentially expressed proteins involved in a variety of fundamental biological processes including cellular metabolism,blood coagulation,immune response,angiogenesis,and cell microenvironment regulation.Several inflammatory factors were upregulated,which was possibly caused by the activation of NF-κB signaling.Extensive dysregulation of the lung proteome in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection was discovered.Our results systematically outlined the molecular pathological features in terms of the lung response to SARS-CoV-2 infection,and provided the scientific basis for the therapeutic target that is urgently needed to control the COVID-19 pandemic.Ling Leng Ruiyuan Cao Jie Ma Danlei Mou Yunping Zhu Wei Li Luye Lv Dunqin Gao Shikun Zhang Feng Gong Lei Zhao Bintao Qiu Haiping Xiang Zhongjie Hu Yingmei Feng Yan Dai Jiang Zhao Zhihong Wu Hongjun Li Wu Zhong 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:4

8ETCM v2.0:An update with comprehensive resource and rich annotations for traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘Existing traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)-related databases are still insufficient in data standardization,integrity and precision,and need to be updated urgently.Herein,an Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine version 2.0(ETCM v2.0,http://gffzz3ff3e9d9e9f64aa3hbqxuvvxqbbcp66f9.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/ETCM2/front/#/)was constructed as the latest curated database hosting 48,442 TCM formulas recorded by ancient Chinese medical books,9872 Chinese patent drugs,2079 Chinese medicinal materials and 38,298 ingredients.To facilitate the mechanistic research and new drug discovery,we improved the target identification method based on a two-dimensional ligand similarity search module,which provides the confirmed and/or potential targets of each ingredient,as well as their binding activities.Importantly,five TCM formulas/Chinese patent drugs/herbs/ingredients with the highest Jaccard similarity scores to the submitted drugs are offered in ETCM v2.0,which may be of significance to identify prescriptions/herbs/ingredients with similar clinical efficacy,to summarize the rules of prescription use,and to find alternative drugs for endangered Chinese medicinal materials.Moreover,ETCM v2.0 provides an enhanced Java Script-based network visualization tool for creating,modifying and exploring multi-scale biological networks.ETCM v2.0 may be a major data warehouse for the quality marker identification of TCMs,the TCM-derived drug discovery and repurposing,and the pharmacological mechanism investigation of TCMs against various human diseases.Yanqiong Zhang Xin Li Yulong Shi Tong Chen Zhijian Xu Ping Wang Meng Yu Wenjia Chen Bing Li Zhiwei Jing Hong Jiang Lu Fu Wenjing Gao Yanhua Jiang Xia Du Zipeng Gong Weiliang Zhu Hongjun Yang Haiyu Xu 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6:3

10Multiple-Stage Mineralization in the Huayangchuan U-REE-Mo-Cu-Fe Ore Belt of the Qinling Orogen,Central China:Geological and Re-Os Geochronological Constraints显示文摘The Huayangchuan ore belt is located in the western segment of Xiaoqinling Orogen in the southern margin of the North China Craton(NCC),and hosts voluminous magmatism and significant U-REE-Mo-Cu-Fe polymetallic mineralization.However,geochronological framework of the various mineralization phases in this region is poorly understood.Here,we present new Re-Os isochron ages on magnetite from the Caotan Fe deposit(2 675 ± 410 Ma,MSWD = 0.55),and on pyrite from the Jialu REE deposit(2 127 ± 280 Ma,MSWD = 1.9) and Yuejiawa Cu deposit(418 ± 23 Ma,MSWD =11.5),and Re-Os weighted average model age on pyrite from the Taoyuan Mo-U deposit(235 ± 14 Ma,MSWD = 0.17).These ages,combined with regional geology and mineralization ages from other deposits,suggest that mineralization in the Huayangchuan ore belt lasted from the Neoarchean to the Late Mesozoic.The mineralization corresponds to regional tectono-magmatic events,including the Neoarchean alkali magmatism(REE mineralization),Paleoproterozoic plagioclase-amphibolite emplacement(Fe mineralization),Paleoproterozoic pegmatite magmatism(U mineralization),Paleozoic Shangdan oceanic slab subduction-related arc magmatism(Cu mineralization),Early Mesozoic Paleo-Tethys Ocean subduction-related arc magmatism(Mo-U mineralization),and Late Mesozoic Paleo-Pacific oceanic plate subduction direction change-related Mo(-Pb) mineralization.We proposed that the Huayangchuan ore belt has undergone prolonged metallogenic evolution,and the magmatism and associated mineralization were controlled by regional geodynamic events.Hongjun Jiang Chunsi Yang Dequan Wang Hui Zheng Jie Li Huayong Chen 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,1:2
11Scattered seeding of CAR T cells in solid tumors augments anticancer efficacy显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor T cell(CAR T) therapy was a milestone in the treatment of relapsed and refractory B cell malignancies. However, beneficial effects of CAR T cells have not been obtained in solid tumors yet. Herein, we implement a porous microneedle patch that accommodates CAR T cells and allows in situ penetration-mediated seeding of CAR T cells when implanted in the tumor bed or in the post-surgical resection cavity. CAR T cells loaded in the pores of the microneedle tips were readily escorted to the tumor in an evenly scattered manner without losing their activity. Such microneedle-mediated local delivery enhanced infiltration and immunostimulation of CAR T cells as compared to direct intratumoral injection. 16Prevention and Treatment of Chinese Herbal Preparation Yinqiaotiangan against Pathologic Model of Streptococcus suis Serotype II in Kunming Mice显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the antimicrobial effect of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan against Streptococcus suis serotype II in vivo.[Method] The prevention and treatment tests were conducted with Kunming mice weighing about 18-22 g. In the prevention test,Kunming mice were inoculated with Streptococcus suis serotype II and simultaneously taken orally 0.5,1.0 and 2.0 g/ml Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan respectively for continuous 3 d,once a day; the incidence rate,mortality rate and protective rate were detected after 7 d. In the treatment test,Kunming mice were inoculated with Streptococcus suis serotype II to establish the Streptococcus suis serotype II pathogenic model,and then taken orally 0.5,1.0 and 2.0g / ml Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan respectively for continuous 3d,twice a day; the mortality rate,cure rate and effective rate were detected after 7d.[Result] Results of the prevention test showed that the protective rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly higher than that in control group ( P<0.01) ,while the incidence rate and mortality rate were extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.01) . Results of the treatment test showed that the incidence rate in experimental groups was extremely significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.01) ,the cure rate in 0.5 g / ml group was extremely significantly higher than that in 1.0 g/ ml group and 2.0 g / ml group (P<0.01) ,the effective rate in 0.5 g / ml group was significantly higher than that in 1.0 g / ml group and 2.0 g / ml group (P<0.05) ,with no significant difference from the positive group (P>0.05) .[Conclusion] The pathologic model of Streptococcus suis serotype II could be effectively prevented and treated by oral intake of low dose of Chinese herbal preparation Yinqiaotiangan in Kunming mice.Hong JIANG Shuhong HUANG Hongjun WANG Tiezhong ZHOU Zhuohui MA 2013Agricultural Biotechnology2013,2,1:1
