| 1 | Preparation of Mullite Whiskers and Their Enhancement Effect on Ceramic Matrix Composites显示文摘Mullite whiskers were facilely prepared by sintering kyanite at high temperature, with the addition of AlF3·3H2O. The as-prepared whiskers have been characterized systematically in terms of phase composition, morphology, and structure. Results showed that the morphology and size of mullite whiskers were strongly depended on the content of AlF3·3H2O and sintering temperature. At temperatures in the range of 1 100 to 1 500 ℃ with 4 wt% addition of AlF3·3H2O, the well-shaped mullite whiskers were obtained. For an instance, the mullite whiskers with 5-10 μm in length and 0.1-0.2 μm in cross-section could be formed at 1 400 ℃, with 4 wt% addition of AlF3·3H2O. | 2 | Cold hardiness estimation of Pinus densiflora var. zhangwuensis based on changes in ionic leakage, chlorophyll fluorescence and other physiological activities under cold stress显示文摘Pinus densiflora var. zhangwuensis grows fast,and its drought and salinity resistance are better than Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica. We compared cold hardiness and mechanisms of cold hardiness between the two species, to provide a theoretical basis for promoting and applying P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis in cold regions. A cold stress experiment was carried out on 3-year-old plantlets of P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis and P. sylvestris var. mongolica after hardening at five temperature regimes, 5,-10,-20,-40, and-60℃, respectively. Some indices of needle samples for both species were measured, such as relative conductivity(REL), maximum photochemical efficiency(F_v/F_m), malondialdehyde(MDA), catalase(CAT), proline(Pro), soluble sugar(SS), and stomata density. REL and MDA values of both species after hardening had the same trend of increasing, but the trend was opposite in F_v/F_mvalue with increasing cold stress. Compared with P. sylvestris var. mongolica, the P. densiflora var. zhangwuensis had smaller increases in REL and MDA,and a smaller decline in F_v/F_mduring cold stress. Compared to the control, REL growth of P. densiflora var.zhangwuensis and P. sylvestris var. mongolica at-60℃ were 0.41 and 0.60, and MDA growth was 29.94 mol g^-1FW and 47.80 mol g^-1FW, and F_v/F_mdeclines were 0.08 and 0.27. Half-lethal temperatures(LT_50) calculated by logistic equation for P. densiflora var. zhangwuensis and P.sylvestris var. mongolica were-58.23 and-50.34℃,respectively. These data suggest that cold resistance of P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis is stronger than that of P.sylvestris var. mongolica. Cold-resistance mechanisms of the two species differed. In response to cold stress, P.sylvestris var. mongolica had strong osmotic adjustment ability because of higher Pro and SS content, while P.densiflora var. zhangwuensis had strong antioxidant ability due to stronger CAT activity. | 3 | Cylindrical vector beam fiber laser with a symmetric two-mode fiber coupler显示文摘We demonstrate a passively mode-locked all-fiber laser generating cylindrical vector beams(CVBs)only using a symmetric two-mode fiber optical coupler(TMF-OC)for both high-order mode excitation and splitting.Theoretical analyses show that for a symmetric TMF-OC with appropriate taper diameter,the second-order mode can be excited and coupled into output tap with high purity due to the effective index difference of different modes.Based on the fabricated TMF-OC,the passively mode-locked fiber laser delivers pulsed CVBs at a center wavelength of 1564.4 nm with 3 d B linewidth of 11.2 nm,pulse duration of 2.552 ps,and repetition rate of3.96 MHz.The purity of both radially and azimuthally polarized beams is estimated to be over 91%.Due to simple fabrication method of the TMF-OC and high purity of the generated CVBs,this mode-locked CVB fiber laser with all-fiber configuration has potential applications in optical trapping,optical communications,material processing,etc. | YANG XU SU CHEN ZHIQIANG WANG BING SUN HONGDAN WAN ZUXING ZHANG | 2019 | Photonics Research2019,7,12: | 5 |

| 7 | Spatio-temporal Differentiation of Residential Land for Coastal Town: A Case Study of Dalian Jinshitan显示文摘Based on SPOT5 satellite remote sensing images and land use data in five time phases covering the period 1988–2012, the distribution characteristics, spatial differentiation processes, and driving mechanisms affecting the residential land of the Jinshitan Tourist Resort were studied. The work included a combination of GIS technology, adoption of the differentiation index D, and the multi-group differentiation-measure model D(m). The results provided a basis for the following conclusions: 1) From 1988 to 2012, the degree of differentiation of the rural residential land first decreased, and then increased. The general residential, commercial residential and garden-house land-types all showed declining trends, of which the garden-house type presented the most intense volatility. 2) The overall background of the traditional residential land type was gradually replaced by a new residential land type, and the total area of residential land increased year by year, significantly improving the overall residential conditions. The areas of the new residential land type showed growth, and were increasingly widely distributed in the coastal tourist resorts, transportation corridors, and scenic areas. 3) Government policy, social differentiation, market mechanisms, and individual choices(along with other factors) were mutually promoted, although still restrained. | 8 | 老年代谢综合征患者血清胃饥饿素、抵抗素水平与轻度认知功能障碍的相关性显示文摘目的探讨老年代谢综合征(MS)患者血清胃饥饿素、抵抗素水平与轻度认知功能障碍(MCI)的相关性。方法选取2016年6月至2018年10月该院诊治的老年MS患者108例作为研究对象。MS患者根据是否合并MCI分为MS组(n=63)和MS+MCI组(n=45)。选取同期体检健康者50例作为对照组。比较各组间基本资料、胃饥饿素、抵抗素及简易智力状态检查量表(MMSE)评分,并进行Pearson相关性分析和Logistic多元逐步回归分析。结果三组间的性别比例、年龄、受教育年限、吸烟、舒张压、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05),相较于对照组,MS+MCI组与MS组体质量指数(BMI)、收缩压、血清总胆固醇(TC)、三酰甘油(TG)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、空腹血糖、抵抗素均显著增高,胃饥饿素降低(P<0.05);MS+MCI组BMI、TG、LDL-C、抵抗素均显著高于MS组,胃饥饿素低于MS组(P<0.05)。MS+MCI组MMSE评分显著高于MS组和对照组(P<0.05)。经过Pearson相关性分析,BMI、TG、LDL-C、抵抗素与MS+MCI组患者MMSE呈负相关(P<0.05),胃饥饿素与MS+MCI组患者MMSE呈正相关(P<0.05)。经Logistic多元逐步回归分析,BMI、TG、LDL-C、抵抗素、胃饥饿素是MS患者发生MCI的预警因素。结论血清胃饥饿素、抵抗素与MS患者的MCI密切相关,可能成为早期MCI的生物学标志物。 | 凡利敏 周春美 段海宇 刘军慧 WU Hongdan | 2020 | 国际检验医学杂志2020,41,3: | 2 |
| 9 | Synergistic Effect of Carbon Nanotubes and Layered Double Hydroxides on the Mechanical Reinforcement of Nylon-6 Nanocomposites显示文摘Synergistic effect in network formation of nylon-6(PA6) nanocomposites containing one dimensional(1D) multi-walled carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and two dimensional(2D) layered double hydroxide(LDH) platelets on improving the mechanical properties has been studied. Mechanical tests show that, with incorporation of 1 wt% LDHs and 0.5 wt% CNTs, the tensile modulus, the yield strength as well as the hardness of the ternary composite are greatly improved by about 230%, 128% and 110% respectively, as compared with neat PA6. This is mainly attributed to the unique, strong interactions between the CNTs and the LDHs as well as the jammed network-like structure thus formed between the nanofillers, as confirmed by the morphological observations. | 16 | Experimental study on the physico-mechanical properties of Tamusu mudstone — A potential host rock for high-level radioactive waste in Inner Mongolia of China显示文摘Tamusu mudstone, located in Bayin Gobi Basin in Inner Mongolia of China, has been selected as a potential host rock for high-level radioactive waste(HLW) disposal in China. A series of tests has been carried out, including X-ray diffraction(XRD) tests, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) tests, disintegration tests, permeability tests and triaxial compression tests, to estimate the physico-mechanical properties of Tamusu mudstone in this work. The mineral composition of Tamusu mudstone was analyzed and it was considered as a stable rock due to its low disintegration rate, i.e. approximately 0.11%after several wet/dry cycles. Based on the results of permeability test, it was found that Tamusu mudstone has a low permeability, with the magnitude of about 10—20m^(2). The low permeability makes the mudstone well prevent nuclide migration and diffusion, and might be influenced by temperature.The triaxial tests show that Tamusu mudstone is a stiff mudstone with high compressive strength, which means that the excavation disturbed zone would be smaller compared to other types of mudstone due to construction and operation of HLW repositories. | 20 | Transcriptomic response to ammonia-N stress in the hepatopancreas of swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus显示文摘The swimming crab Portunus trituberculatus is an important farmed species in China.Ammonia-N represents a major physiological challenge for crab culture and the hepatopancreas plays a major role in physiological adaptation processes.To better understand the molecular mechanism of the crab in response to ammonia-N stress,we performed a transcriptome analysis in the hepatopancreas of P.trituberculatus challenged with ammonia-N stress(5 mg/L),using the high-throughput sequencing technology.In total,52,280 unigenes were obtained from the hepatopancreas of P.trituberculatus,with an average length of 678 bp.Functional categorization and pathways showed some diiferentially expressed genes were involved in amino acid and nucleobase metabolism,energy metabolism,antioxidation,immune response,reproduction,moulting and material transport.The differential expression patterns of eight randomly selected annotated genes were validated by quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR).Results revealed a substantial number of genes modified by ammonia-N stress and a few significant ammonia acclimation pathways,which will serve as an invaluable resource for revealing the molecular basis of physiological adaptation mechanism in P.trituberculatus. | Lingjun Si Luqing Pan Hongdan Wang Xin Zhang | 2020 | Marine Life Science & Technology2020,2,2: | 0 |
