| 1 | High-resolution records of Holocene from the Shuangchi Maar Lake in Hainan Island显示文摘The results of sedimentary characteristics, grain-size, clay mineral, C/N and pollen analysis reveal the evolution history of the Shuangchi Maar Lake of Hainan Island as well as the short-term climate variations in tropical areas. It is testified that the Maar sediment system was sensitive in recording the rapid climate changes in the Holocene. These multidisciplinary results demonstrate that the thermal maximum in the Holocene climate lasted from 7200 to 2700 aBP, with several abrupt ephemeral vibrations occurring between 7250-6120 aBP and at around 4460, 3850 and 2700 aBP. In the late Holocene, particularly at ~2700 aBP, a distinct environmental change indicating an important climate transition in the tropical eastern Asia was recorded, probably responding to the enhancement of ENSO phenomena in the Pacific Ocean. | 2 | Detrital Zircon U-Pb Geochronologyof Sinian–Cambrian Strata in the Eastern Guangxi Area, China显示文摘The Eastern Guangxi area locates in the southwestern part of the transition zone between Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks, which is an important region because the boundary between two blocks probablycrosses there. We determined LA-ICPMS U-Pb ages for detrital zircons extracted from three sandstone samples in the Sinian-Cambrian strata in this region. The resulting ages are in the range of the Archeozoic and Neoproterozoic, with three notable concentrates at 991 Ma, 974 Ma, and 964 Ma, all of which are coeval to the Grenvillian magmatic activity. The new age distribution is similar to the data reported in the Precambrian strata of the adjacent southwestern Cathaysia Block, suggesting that most of our detrital zircons are likely derived from the Cathaysia Block. Combined with others' research, we are more inclined to accept the opinion that there was not an ocean basin between the two blocks during the Sinian-Cambrian period in Eastern Guangxi area if the timing of collision is the Early Neoproterzoic. But if the timing of collision is the Early Paleozoic, we conclude that Luzhai uplift(i.e., the uplift between Guilin-Yongfu faultand Lipu fault) beyond the west of Dayaoshan regoin might be one part of southwestern sedimentation boundary of Cathaysia Block and Yangtze Block. | 6 | Locating Famous Tea’s Picking Point Based on Shi-Tomasi Algorithm显示文摘To address the difficulty of locating the picking point of a tea sprout during the intelligent automatic picking of famous tea,this study proposes a method to obtain information on the picking point on the basis of the ShiTomasi algorithm.This method can rapidly identify a tea sprout’s picking point and obtain its coordinates.Images of tea sprouts in a tea garden were collected,and the G-B component of tea sprouts was segmented using the Otsu algorithm.The region of interest was set with the lowest point of its contour as the center.The characteristics of tea buds and branches in the area were extracted,and the Otsu algorithm was used for a second segmentation of tea sprout images.The tea buds were segmented using the improved Zhang algorithm.The branch feature binary image was used to refine the skeleton,and the Shi-Tomasi algorithm was used to detect the corners of the skeleton and calculate and mark the picking points of the shoots.Sixty sets of samples were tested.The test identified 1,042 effective shoots for tender buds,and 887 picking points were marked,with a success rate of 85.12%,thereby verifying the effectiveness of the method and providing a theoretical reference for the visual positioning of the automatic picking of famous tea. | Lei Zhang Lang Zou Chuanyu Wu Jianneng Chen Heping Chen | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,10: | 0 |
