3Milling Force Model for Aviation Aluminum Alloy: Academic Insight and Perspective Analysis显示文摘Aluminum alloy is the main structural material of aircraft,launch vehicle,spaceship,and space station and is processed by milling.However,tool wear and vibration are the bottlenecks in the milling process of aviation aluminum alloy.The machining accuracy and surface quality of aluminum alloy milling depend on the cutting parameters,material mechanical properties,machine tools,and other parameters.In particular,milling force is the crucial factor to determine material removal and workpiece surface integrity.However,establishing the prediction model of milling force is important and difficult because milling force is the result of multiparameter coupling of process system.The research progress of cutting force model is reviewed from three modeling methods:empirical model,finite element simulation,and instantaneous milling force model.The problems of cutting force modeling are also determined.In view of these problems,the future work direction is proposed in the following four aspects:(1)high-speed milling is adopted for the thin-walled structure of large aviation with large cutting depth,which easily produces high residual stress.The residual stress should be analyzed under this particular condition.(2)Multiple factors(e.g.,eccentric swing milling parameters,lubrication conditions,tools,tool and workpiece deformation,and size effect)should be considered comprehensively when modeling instantaneous milling forces,especially for micro milling and complex surface machining.(3)The database of milling force model,including the corresponding workpiece materials,working condition,cutting tools(geometric figures and coatings),and other parameters,should be established.(4)The effect of chatter on the prediction accuracy of milling force cannot be ignored in thin-walled workpiece milling.(5)The cutting force of aviation aluminum alloy milling under the condition of minimum quantity lubrication(mql)and nanofluid mql should be predicted.Zhenjing Duan Changhe Li Wenfeng Ding Yanbin Zhang Min Yang Teng Gao Huajun Cao Xuefeng Xu Dazhong Wang Cong Mao Hao Nan Li Gupta Munish Kumar Zafar Said Sujan Debnath Muhammad Jamil Hafiz Muhammad Ali 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,1:7
4Human-induced landslide on a high cut slope: a case of repeated failures due to multi-excavation显示文摘The paper attempts to represent a case of repeated failures on a high cut slope due to multi-excavation. The characteristics of each failure induced by excavation are analyzed through geological investigation, and then a geological model at different failure stages is proposed. The geological analysis shows that the excavation-induced repeated failures are related to the exposure of the weak bedding plane and the toe unloading of the cut slope. Numerical modeling is conducted based on a sequential method, taking into account the main failure stages of cut slope. The simulation results fairly coincide with the practical phenomena observed in field. It is shown that the decrease in normal stress of displaced mass on cut slope will induce the increase in shear stress in bedding planes and that at the toe of the cut slope. 5Critical function of DNA methyltransferase 1 in tomato development and regulation of the DNA methylome and transcriptome显示文摘DNA methylation confers epigenetic regulation on gene expression and thereby on various biological processes.Tomato has emerged as an excellent system to study the function of DNA methylation in plant development.To date,regulation and function of DNA methylation maintenance remains unclear in tomato plants.Here,we report the critical function of tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)Methyltransferase 1(Sl MET1)in plant development and DNA methylome and transcriptome regulation.Using CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing,we generated slmet1 mutants and observed severe developmental defects with a frame-shift mutation,including small and curly leaves,defective inflorescence,and parthenocarpy.In leaf tissues,mutations in Sl MET1 caused CG hypomethylation and CHH hypermethylationon a whole-genome scale,leading to a disturbed transcriptome including ectopic expression of many RIN target genes such as ACC2 in leaf tissues,which are normally expressed in fruits.Neither the CG hypomethylation nor CHH hypermethylation in the slmet1 mutants is related to tissue culture.Meanwhile,tissue culture induces non-CG hypomethylation,which occurs more frequently at gene regions than at TE regions.Our results depict Sl MET1-and tissue culture-dependent tomato DNA methylomes,and that Sl MET1 is required for maintaining a normal transcriptome and normal development of tomato.Yu Yang Kai Tang Tatsiana U Datsenka Wenshan Liu Suhui Lv Zhaobo Lang Xingang Wang Jinghui Gao Wei Wang Wenfeng Nie Zhaoqing Chu Heng Zhang Avtar K HANDa Jian-Kang Zhu Huiming Zhang 2019Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2019,61,12:3
6Distributed Contact Plan Design for Multi-Layer Satellite-Terrestrial Network显示文摘In multi-layer satellite-terrestrial network, Contact Graph Routing(CGR) uses the contact information among satellites to compute routes. However, due to the resource constraints in satellites, it is extravagant to configure lots of the potential contacts into contact plans. What's more, a huge contact plan makes the computing more complex, which further increases computing time. As a result, how to design an efficient contact plan becomes crucial for multi-layer satellite network, which usually has a large scaled topology. In this paper, we propose a distributed contact plan design scheme for multi-layer satellite network by dividing a large contact plan into several partial parts. Meanwhile, a duration based inter-layer contact selection algorithm is proposed to handle contacts disruption problem. The performance of the proposed design was evaluated on our Identifier/Locator split based satellite-terrestrial network testbed with 79 simulation nodes. 7Spatiotemporal patterns of the forage-livestock balance in the Xilin Gol steppe,China:implications for sustainably utilizing grassland-ecosystem services显示文摘Understanding the spatiotemporal patterns of the forage-livestock balance is imperative for regionally arranging animal husbandry production while ensuring sustainable grassland-ecosystem service use.The Xilin Gol steppe is an important native grassland resource in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,China.This study aimed to elucidate the dynamics of the forage-livestock balance in the Xilin Gol steppe during the period 2000–2015.We evaluated the forage production and corresponding livestock carrying capacity(LCC)in the growing seasons of 2000–2015 using remote sensing data and field surveys.The spatiotemporal patterns of the forage-livestock balance were then assessed at regional,city(including city,county and banner),and village scales using statistical and household survey data.The results showed that both forage production and LCC decreased in the Xilin Gol steppe from east to west.During the period 2000–2015,the regional average forage production and corresponding LCC fluctuated without following a distinct trend,but were consistent with the variations in precipitation.The forage-livestock balance varied with time,space,and scale.At the regional scale,steppes were overgrazed in the early 2000s,but a forage-livestock balance or even grazing potential was achieved in other years.At the city scale,approximately half of the region exhibited a'forage-livestock balance'since 2000.However,about half of the region still experienced overgrazing,which mainly located in the southwest sandy zones.Such changes may have been affected by the variations in grassland quality,forage production,compensation payment,and so on.We suggest a location-specific management scheme for grazing constraints,ecological compensation payment,and industry development to aid in harmonizing animal husbandry and environmental restoration,while promoting sustainable development goals by 2030.QU Yingbo ZHAO Yuanyuan DING Guodong CHI Wenfeng GAO Guanglei 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,2:2

15Precisely quantifying bulk transition metal valence evolution in conventional battery electrode by inverse partial fluorescence yield显示文摘Precisely quantifying transition metal(TM) redox in bulk is a key to understand the fundamental of optimizing cathode materials in secondary batteries. At present, the commonly used methods to probe TM redox are hard X-ray absorption spectroscopy(hXAS) and soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy(sXAS).However, they are both facing challenges to precisely quantify the valence states of some transition metals such as Mn. In this paper, Mn-L iPFY(inverse partial fluorescence yield) spectra extracted from Mn-L m RIXS(mapping of resonant inelastic X-ray scattering) is adopted to quantify Mn valence states. Mn-L i PFY spectra has been considered as a bulk-sensitive, non-distorted probe of TM valence states.However, the exact precision of this method is still unclear in quantifying practical battery electrodes.Herein, a series of LiMn_(2)O_(4) electrodes with different charge and discharge states are prepared. Based on their electrochemical capacity(generally considered to be very precise), the precision of Mn iPFY in quantifying bulk Mn valence state is confirmed, and the error range is unraveled. 18Dual-responsive nanoparticles with transformable shape and reversible charge for amplified chemo-photodynamic therapy of breast cancer显示文摘Herein, we designed a dual-response shape transformation and charge reversal strategy with chemo-photodynamic therapy to improve the blood circulation time, tumor penetration and retention,which finally enhanced the anti-tumor effect. In the system, hydrophobic photosensitizer chlorin e6(Ce6), hydrophilic chemotherapeutic drug berberrubine(BBR) and matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) response peptide(PLGVRKLVFF) were coupled by linkers to form a linear triblock molecule BBR-PLGVRKLVFF-Ce6(BPC), which can self-assemble into nanoparticles. Then, positively charged BPC and polyethylene glycol-histidine(PEG-His) were mixed to form PEG-His@BPC with negative surface charge and long blood circulation time. Due to the acidic tumor microenvironment, the PEG shell was detached from PEG-His@BPC attributing to protonation of the histidine, which achieved charge reversal, size reduction and enhanced tumor penetration. At the same time, enzyme cutting site was exposed, and the spherical nanoparticles could transform into nanofibers following the enzymolysis by MMP-2, while BBR was released to kill tumors by inducing apoptosis. Compared with original nanoparticles, the nanofibers with photosensitizer Ce6 retained within tumor site for a longer time.
