2Amorphous Co-B/Al nanocomposites prepared by electroless coating technique and their excellent catalytic activity显示文摘To improve the catalytic activity of amorphous Co-B alloys, Co-B coated aluminum (Co-B/Al) nanocomposites were prepared by electroless coating technique and evaluated as additives for the catalytic performance of ammonium perchlorate (AP) and AP-based solid state propellants. X-ray diffractometry (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), inductive coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) as well as strand burner method were employed to characterize the crystal phase, morphologies, chemical composition, and catalytic activity of the as-synthesized material. The results show that a continuous layer of about 100 nm amorphous Co72.6B27.4 covers the surfaces of Al particles. 3Role of VEGF-A/C and CCR-7 in the enhanced metastasis of A549 cells induced by 2 and 4 Gy X-rays in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Radiotherapy is a common strategy in treating lung cancer.Accumulating evidence suggested that radiotherapy has the potential to promote the metastasis and invasion of carcinoma cells.In this study,we aimed to testify the role of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and C-C chemokine receptor-7(CCR-7)in the metastasis of human adenocarcinoma A549 cells in vivo and in vitro.Nude mice were injected with A549 cells irradiated by 0,2 and 4 Gy X-rays,respectively.Quantitative detections of VEGF-A/C and CCR-7 mRNA from lung sample were performed by real-time RT-PCR.Small interfering RNA(siRNA)transfection technology was further used to testify the role of the genes in the metastasis of A549 cells.VEGF and CCR-7mRNA could only be detected 10 weeks post injection in vivo when visible tumor foci scattered in lung.In addition,VEGF-A/C mRNA expressed significantly higher in mice injected with A549 cells irradiated by 2 and 4 X-rays than those with 0 Gy X-rays irradiation.On the other hand,A549 cells with or without X-rays irradiation transfected with VEGF siRAN and CCR-7 siRNA showed a dramatic decrease of invasiveness compared to normal A549 cells with or without irradiation.The migration indexes were?0.7,?0.48,?0.34 and?0.32 for A549 cells with CCR-7 siRNA,VEGF siRNA,X-rays combined CCR-7 siRNA and X-rays combined VEGF-siRNA respectively.These results demonstrated that X-rays could promote the metastasis of A549 cells,and VEGF-A/C and CCR-7 mRNA were closely related to the metastasis of A549 cells in vivo and in vitro.LV Jin JIANG QiSheng SONG XiuJun WANG CuiLan GUO LiJie WANG SiNian LI FengSheng HU WenWei 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,5:4
4Motor relearning program and Bobath method improve motor function of the upper extremities in patients with stroke显示文摘BACKGROUND: In the natural evolution of cerebrovascular disease, unconscious use of affected extremity during drug treatment and daily life can improve the function of affected upper extremity partially, but it is very slow and also accompanied by the formation of abnormal mode. Therefore, functional training should be emphasized in recovering the motor function of extremity. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of combination of motor relearning program and Bobath method on motor function of upper extremity of patients with stroke. DESIGN: Comparison of therapeutic effects taking stroke patients as observation subjects. SETTING: Department of Neurology, General Hospital of Beijing Jingmei Group. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 120 stroke patients, including 60 males and 60 females, averaged (59±3) years, who hospitalized in the Department of Neurology, General Hospital of Beijing Jingmei Group between January 2005 and June 2006 were recruited. The involved patients met the following criteria: Stroke attack within 2 weeks; diagnosis criteria of cerebral hemorrhage or infarction made in the 4th National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference; confirmed by skull CT or MRI; Informed consents of therapeutic regimen were obtained. The patients were assigned into 2 groups according to their wills: rehabilitation group and control group, with 30 males and 30 females in each group. Patients in rehabilitation group averaged (59±2)years old, and those in the control group averaged (58±2)years old. METHODS: ① Patients in two groups received routine treatment in the Department of Neurology. When the vital signs of patients in the rehabilitation group were stable, individualized treatment was conducted by combined application of motor relearning program and Bobath method. Meanwhile, training of activity of daily living was performed according to the disease condition changes of patients at different phases, including the nursing and instruction of body posture, the maintenance of good extremity position, bed exercise, bedside sit up and sitting position balance, sit up exercise, dynamic and static balance exercise, walking exercise, active training and passive training. The strength, time and speed of training were increased gradually according to their physical abilities. Patients were trained 45 to 60 minutes once, 5 times a week, within 2 weeks. ② Evaluation criteria of therapeutic effect: The motor function of upper extremity was evaluated by Fugl-Meyer method on the day of beginning and end of treatment. Higher points indicated better function of upper extremity. ③ t test and paired t test were used for comparing the difference of intergroup and intragroup measurement data, respectively. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Changes in Fugl-Meyer scoring of two groups before and after treatment. RESULTS: Totally 120 stroke patients participated in the final analysis. Before treatment, Fugl-Meyer scoring was close between rehabilitation group and control group [(14.47±2.38),(14.16±2.39) points, P > 0.05]; Fugl-Meyer scoring of rehabilitation group after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment and that of control group[(37.93±2.67),(18.36±2.43) points, t =11.053, 5.408, P < 0.01]; There were no significant differences in Fugl-Meyer scoring between before treatment in the control group and control group (P > 0.05). 5PITPNC1 promotes the thermogenesis of brown adipose tissue under acute cold exposure显示文摘Brown adipose tissue (BAT) plays an essential role in non-shivering thermogenesis. The phosphatidylinositol transfer protein, cytoplasmic 1 (PITPNC1) is identified as a lipid transporter that reciprocally transfers phospholipids between intracellular membrane structures. However, the physiological significance of PITPNC1 and its regulatory mechanism remain unclear. Here, we demonstrate that PITPNC1 is a key player in thermogenesis of BAT. While Pitpnc1^(−/−) mice do not differ with wildtype mice in body weight and insulin sensitivity on either chow or high-fat diet, they develop hypothermia when subjected to acute cold exposure at 4℃. The Pitpnc1^(−/−) brown adipocytes exhibit defective β-oxidation and abnormal thermogenesis-related metabolism pathways in mitochondria. The deficiency of lipid mobilization in Pitpnc1^(−/−) brown adipocytes might be the result of excessive accumulation of phosphatidylcholine and a reduction of phosphatidic acid. 6Risk factors for progressive ischemic stroke: A retrospective analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND:Progressive ischemic stroke has higher fatality rate and disability rate than common cerebral infarction,thus it is very significant to investigate the early predicting factors related to the occurrence of progressive ischemic stroke,the potential pathological mechanism and the risk factors of early intervention for preventing the occurrence of progressive ischemic stroke and ameliorating its outcome. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the possible related risk factors in patients with progressive ishcemic stroke,so as to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of progressive ishcemic stroke. DESIGN:A retrospective analysis. SETTING:Department of Neurology,General Hospital of Beijing Coal Mining Group. PARTICIPANTS:Totally 280 patients with progressive ischemic stroke were selected from the Department of Neurology,General Hospital of Beijing Coal Mining Group from March 2002 to June 2006,including 192 males and 88 females,with a mean age of(62±7) years old. They were all accorded with the diagnostic standards for cerebral infarction set by the Fourth National Academic Meeting for Cerebrovascular Disease in 1995,and confired by CT or MRI,admitted within 24 hours after attack,and the neurological defect progressed gradually or aggravated in gradients within 72 hours after attack,and the aggravation of neurological defect was defined as the neurological deficit score decreased by more than 2 points. Meanwhile,200 inpatients with non-progressive ischemic stroke(135 males and 65 females) were selected as the control group. METHODS:After admission,a univariate analysis of variance was conducted using the factors of blood pressure,history of diabetes mellitus,fever,leukocytosis,levels of blood lipids,fibrinogen,blood glucose and plasma homocysteine,cerebral arterial stenosis,and CT symptoms of early infarction,and the significant factors were involved in the multivariate non-conditional Logistic regression analysis. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Results of the univariate analysis of variance of the factors related to progressive ischemic stroke;Results of the multivariate regression analysis. RESULTS:All the 480 patients were involved in the analysis of results. ① Results of the univariate analysis variance:There were significantly more patients with fever,leukocytosis,history of diabetes mellitus,cerebral arterial stenosis and CT symptoms of early infarction in the progressive ischemic stroke group than in the control group(P < 0.01);The levels of blood glucose and fibrinogen in the progressive ischemic stroke group were significantly higher than those in the control group,while the level of blood pressure was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05-0.01). ② Results of the multivariate Logistic regression analysis:The independent predicting factors for progressive ischemic stroke were history of diabetes mellitus,fever,leukocytosis,cerebral arterial stenosis,CT symptoms of early infarction,blood glucose and blood pressure(OR =2.61,2.96,3.79,1.03,3.57,2.68,95% CI 0.92-3.59,P < 0.05-0.01). 7HPLC and GC methods development for the analysis of key intermediate for synthesis of dicamba显示文摘The microreactor based hydroxylation process of 1,2,4-trichlorobezene for producing 2,5-dichlorphenol,the key intermediate of dicamba,is energy efficient and cost effective.But the 2,5-dicholorphneol is present in a mixed state after production.The reaction mixture contained the main by-product 2,4-dichlorophneol,low-content by-product 3,4-dichlorophneol,and other impurities.The difficulty in separation and analysis limits the application of this process widely.The current work aimed at establishing effective analysis methods by gas chromatography(GC)and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The GC method was not able to separate 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol completely,but the developed HPLC method worked efficiently.The linear correlation coefficients of 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol were both higher than 0.999,and the average recovery was 100.33% for 2,5-dichlorophenol and 100.13% for 2,4-dichlorophenol,respectively.The relative standard deviations from precision tests were both less than 1%.The contents of 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol were determined with external standard method.The HPLC method has the advantages of simple operation,good separation efficiency,high accuracy and precision,and was successfully applied for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of 2,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4-dichlorophenol of the sample solution.Zhenming Zhang He Zhao Xiaohui Wang Weiming Ni Fengsheng Gao Jianrong Wang Minjin Liu Yongli Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5:2

18Salt-assisted Low Temperature Solid State Synthesis of High Surface Area CoFe_2O_4 Nanoparticles显示文摘A novel salt-assisted low temperature solid state method using CoCl2·6H2O, FeCl3·6H2O and NaOH as pre-cursor and using NaCl as a dispersant to synthesize high surface area CoFe2O4 nanoparticles, has been investigated. The effects of the molar ratio of added salt and calcination temperature on the characteristics of the products were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and Brunauer, Emmett and Teller (BET) surface area analysis.
