| 1 | Tissue level microstructure and mechanical properties of the femoral head in the proximal femur of fracture patients显示文摘This study aims to investigate the regional variations of trabecular morphological parameters and mechanical parameters of the femoral head,as well as to determine the relationship between trabecular morphological and mechanical parameters.Seven femoral heads from patients with fractured proximal femur were scanned using a micro-CT system.Each femoral head was divided into 12 sub-regions according to the trabecular orientation.One 125 mm^3 trabecular cubic model was reconstructed from each sub-region.A total of 81 trabecular models were reconstructed,except three destroyed sub-regions from two femoral heads during the surgery.Trabecular morphological parameters,i.e.trabecular separation(Tb.Sp),trabecular thickness(Tb.Th),specific bone surface(BS/B V),bone volume fraction(BV/TV),structural model index(SMI),and degree of anisotropy(DA) were measured.Micro-finite element analyses were performed for each cube to obtain the apparent Young's modulus and tissue level von Mises stress distribution under 1%compressive strain along three orthogonal directions,respectively.Results revealed significant regional variations in the morphological parameters(P<0.05).Young's moduli along the trabecular orientation were significantly higher than those along the other two directions.In general,trabecular mechanical properties in the medial region were lower than those in the lateral region.Trabecular mechanical parameters along the trabecular orientation were significantly correlated with BS/BV,BV/TV,Tb.Th,and DA.In this study,regional variations of microstructural features and mechanical properties in the femoral head of patients with proximal femur fracture were thoroughly investigated at the tissue level.The results of this study will help to elucidate the mechanism of femoral head fracture for reducing fracture risk and developing treatment strategies for the elderly. | Linwei Lü Guangwei Meng He Gong Dong Zhu Jiazi Gao Yubo Fan | 2015 | Acta Mechanica Sinica2015,31,2: | 4 |
| 2 | Thermal deformation behavior and microstructure of nuclear austenitic stainless steel显示文摘Gleeble-1500D thermal simulation tester was employed in the hot-compression investigation of as-cast nuclear 304 austenitic stainless steel under conditions: deformation temperature 950―1200℃; deformations 30% and 50%; deformation rates 0.01 and 0.1 s?1. The results show that the flow stress decreases with temperature rise under the same strain rate and deformation, that the flow stress increases with deformation under the same temperature and strain rate, and that the flow stress increases with strain rate under the same temperature condition, i.e., work hardening becomes distinct. | 4 | Wind-wave affected phosphate loading variations and their relationship to redox condition in Lake Taihu显示文摘Variation of wind speed and the physico-chemical parameters, such as dissolved phosphate, ferrous and manganese in lake water were observed on site. Together with the chemistry analysis and simulated experiment in lab, the change of phosphate concentration in lake water was analyzed. The variation of ferrous/phosphate ratio explained that along with the enhancement of wind-wave effect and the oxidation ability of lake water, the effects of co-precipitation and removal of dissolved phosphate and iron in the lake water were reinforced. The ferrous/phosphate ratio in pore water was less than 2.0, demonstrating that the dissolved phosphate can be released into the overlying water. But, in the lake water, the stability of phosphate was controlled by the water dynamics.The phosphate release experiment showed that molecular release was only part of the whole and the direct discharge of phosphate in the pore water was also a part. | 5 | Stressed carbon nanotube devices for high tunability,high quality factor, single mode GHz resonators显示文摘The emerging applications of nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) inground-state cooling, quantum manipulation, communication devices, etc., callfor a nanoresonator with high frequency, quality factor, and tunability, as wellas easy integration. Here we show that such a nanoresonator can be achievedby using a unique assembly technique that transfers the stressed inner shell ofcarbon nanotubes (CNTs) to a self-aligned device geometry. The as-fabricatednanoresonator shows excellent comprehensive performance, i.e., high frequency(2-3 GHz), high tunability (80-110 MHz/V), high quality factor (3×10^4), andsingle mode operation. The defect-free nature of the inner shell of the CNTgives rise to a high quality factor, and the preloaded tension improves theresonant frequency and tunability. | 8 | Local Electroretinogram and Pattern Visual Evoked Potential in Maculopathies显示文摘Purposes: To observe the characteristics of local electroretinogram (LERG) in normal subjects and patients with maculopathies, and to evaluate the applied worth of LERG and pattern visual evoked potential (PVEP) in maculopathies. Methods: LERGs at 5° and 15° macular regions were recorded from 27 normal subjects (54 eyes). The factors of age, different eyes and stimulate areas for LERG influence were observed. Meanwhile, the LERG and PVEP were recorded from 25 patients (35 eyes) with maculopathies for making contrast study. Results: In normal subjects, there was no significant influence of age to LERG. As the stimulated areas increased, the a- and b-wave amplitudes of LERG increased. In the patients with maculopathies, the a- and b-wave amplitudes of LERG at 5°, 10°and 15° macular regions were significantly lowered and the mean values of P1 latency were prolonged and N1-P1 amplitudes of VEP were lowered, comparing with the control group. The experimental reaction cross sections of 12 C + 12 C were analyzed within the MOL by a χ 2 -fitting procedure. The effects of the nuclear deformation on the reaction cross sections are studied. The reliable structure of 12 C is deduced. | 10 | Influence of Psychological Contract on Customer Loyalty to Drugstores显示文摘Objective To discuss the influence of the two-way psychological contract on customer loyalty to drugstores, and to put forward some suggestions for managers of drugstores to improve the customer loyalty based on the facts that drugstores have to give emphasis to such problems as how to keep their customers and improve customer loyalty due to the influence factors, such as the rich channels of drug purchase, the individualization of the demands for drug purchase and the strict requirements for the quality of service on the basis of psychological contract theory. Methods A total of 241 valid questionnaires were distributed in Shenyang to collect data and the data was analyzed by SPSS 24.0. Results and Conclusion The data analysis show that the transaction type and relational psychological contract of both drugstore employee’s and customer’s responsibility performance have significant influence on customers loyalty, and the transaction psychological contract of employee’s responsibility performance has the greatest impact on customers loyalty.
