| 2 | Two birds with one stone:Amine-functionalized MSNs@Eu(OH)CO_(3) nanoprobe for efficient dissolution-enhanced afterglow bioassay显示文摘ABSTRACT The efficient detection of tumor markers is crucial to early cancer diagnosis and monitoring.Here,we propose a unique“two birds with one stone”dissolution-enhanced afterglow bioassay based on amino-functionalized mesoporous SiO2 nanoparticles(MSNs-NH2)encapsulated Eu(OH)CO_(3)nanoprobes.These nanoprobes(i)stably conjugate to the antibody and(ii)are highly soluble in the acidic enhancer solution,and provide a high Eu3+concentration.The released Eu3+ions further activate the photochemical afterglow system to determine the alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)levels in clinical serum samples.Without the use of a real-time excitation source,the interference of autofluorescence and scattering from blood can be avoided.The demonstrated limit of detection(LOD)for AFP was as low as 0.12 ng·mL^(−1).This covalently connected dissolution-enhanced luminescent bioassay(DELBA)and novel afterglow system shows tremendous potential for ultrasensitive and rapid clinical diagnosis. | Fuying Zhang Donghao Hu Xianlong Su Zhengdao Hong Wei Feng Ming Xu Fuyou Li | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,9: | 1 |
| 3 | Carbon Fibers for Bioelectrochemical:Precursors,Bioelectrochemical System,and Biosensors显示文摘Carbon fibers(CFs)demonstrate a range of excellent properties including(but not limited to)microscale diameter,high hardness,high strength,light weight,high chemical resistance,and high temperature resistance.Therefore,it is necessary to summarize the application market of CFs.CFs with good physical and chemical properties stand out among many materials.It is believed that highly fibrotic CFs will play a crucial role.This review first introduces the precursors of CFs,such as polyacrylonitrile,bitumen,and lignin.Then this review introduces CFs used in BESs,such as electrode materials and modification strategies of MFC,MEC,MDC,and other cells in a large space.Then,CFs in biosensors including enzyme sensor,DNA sensor,immune sensor and implantable sensor are summarized.Finally,we discuss briefly the challenges and research directions of CFs application in BESs,biosensors and more fields. | Donghao Li Yimeng Feng Fengxiang Li Jingchun Tang Tao Hua | 2023 | Advanced Fiber Materials2023,5,3: | 0 |
| 4 | LARGE-SCALE FARMING BENEFITS SOIL ACIDIFICATION ALLEVIATION THROUGH IMPROVED FIELD MANAGEMENT IN BANANA PLANTATIONS显示文摘Large-scale farming by agricultural land transfers has been increasingly promoted in recent years,but the possible impacts on crop production,especially cash crops,and soil acidification remain unclear.This study obtained data for 110 banana plantations in Long’an County,China,and categorized them into small(<0.67 ha),medium(0.67−6.7 ha),and large(>6.7 ha)to determine banana cultivation,nutrient management,and soil acidification rates on farms of the three sizes.Banana yield per unit area significantly increased with increased farm size,and large farms had the highest average yield(48.9 t·ha^(−1))with the least variation.Despite a significant increase in organic fertilizer and base cation inputs,nitrogen(N)surplus did not differ significantly with increasing farm size.With large farms,actual soil acidification rate was significantly lower by 19.1 to 24.0 keq·ha^(−1)·yr^(−1);however,potential soil acidification rate increased with increased overuse of phosphorus.Overall,larger banana plantations used fewer mineral N fertilizers reducing the rate of soil acidification and increasing the H+buffering provided by organic fertilizers.It is concluded that larger farms deliver the dual benefits of higher,less variable banana yield and mitigation of soil acidification by substituting organic N for mineral N fertilizers,supporting sustainable soil management and food production. | Donghao XU Jiangzhou ZHANG Yajuan LI Shiyang LI Siyang REN Yuan FENG Qichao ZHU Fusuo ZHANG | 2023 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2023,10,1: | 0 |
