| 1 | Stable carbon and hydrogen isotopes of gases from the large tight gas fields in China显示文摘By the end of the year 2010,a total of 15 large tight gas fields have been found in China,located in the Ordos,Sichuan,and Tarim basins.The annual production and total reserves of these fields in 2010 were 222.5×108and 28657×108m3,respectively,accounting for 23.5%and 37.3%,respectively,of the total annual production and reserves of natural gases in China.They took a major part of all natural gas production and reserves in China.According to the analyses of 81 gas samples,the stable carbon and hydrogen isotopic compositions of tight gases in China have following characteristics:(1)Plots of 13C1-13C2-13C3,13C1-C1/C2+3and 13C1-13C2demonstrate the coal-derived origin of tight gases in China;(2)For the primary alkane gases,both carbon and hydrogen isotopic values increase with increasing molecular mass,i.e.,13C1<13C2<13C3<13C4and2H1<2H2<2H3;(3)The isotopic differences of 13C2-13C1,13C3-13C1,2H2-2H1and 2H3-2H1decrease with increasing Ro(%)and C1/C1–4;(4)There are seven causes for the carbon and hydrogen isotopic reversal,however,the carbon and hydrogen isotopic reversal of tight gases in China is caused mainly by multiple stages of gas charge and accumulation. | DAI JinXing NI YunYan HU GuoYi HUANG ShiPeng LIAO FengRong YU Cong GONG DeYu WU Wei | 2014 | Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1: | 17 |
| 2 | Detection and fine-mapping of SC7 resistance genes via linkage and association analysis in soybean显示文摘Soybean mosaic virus(SMV) disease is one of the most serious and broadly distributed soybean(Glycine max(L.) Merr.) diseases. Here, we combine the advantages of association and linkage analysis to identify and fine-map the soybean genes associated with resistance to SMV strain SC7.A set of 191 soybean accessions from different geographic origins and 184 recombinant inbred lines(RILs) derived from Kefeng No.1(resistant) Nannong 1138-2(susceptible) were used in this study. The SC7 resistance genes were previously mapped to a 2.65 Mb region on chromosome 2 and a 380 kb region on chromosome 13. Among 19 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) detected via association analysis in the study, the SNP BARC-021625-04157 was located in the2.65 Mb region, and the SNP BARC-041671-08065 was located near the 380 kb region; three genes harboring the SNPs were probably related to SC7 resistance. The resistance gene associated with BARC-021625-04157 was then finemapped to a region of approximately 158 kb on chromosome2 using 184 RILs. Among the 15 genes within this region, one NBS-LRR type gene, one HSP40 gene and one serine carboxypeptidase-type gene might be candidate SC7 resistance genes. | 3 | Oral health in China: from vision to action显示文摘Chinese president Xi Jinping made clear at the National Health and Wellness Conference that health is the prerequisite for people's all-around development and a precondition for the sustainable development of China. Oral health is an indispensable component of overall health in humans. However, the long neglect of oral health in overall health agendas has made oral diseases an increasing concern. With this perspective, we described the global challenges of oral diseases, with an emphasis on the challenges faced by China. We also described and analyzed the recently released health policies of the Chinese government, which aim to guide midterm and long-term oral health promotion in China. More importantly, we called for specific actions to fulfill the larger goal of oral health for the nation. The implementation of primordial prevention efforts against oral diseases, the integration of oral health into the promotion of overall health, and the management of oral diseases in conjunction with other chronic non-communicable diseases with shared risk factors were highly recommended. In addition, we suggested the reform of standard clinical residency training, the development of domestic manufacturing of dental equipment and materials, the revitalization traditional Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, and integration of oral health promotion into the Belt and Road Initiative. | 6 | Estimation of carbon and nitrogen contents in citrus canopy by low-altitude remote sensing显示文摘The study aimed to investigate the fast and nondestructive method for detecting carbon and nitrogen content in citrus canopy.The multispectral imagery of Tarocco blood orange(Citrus sinensis L.Osbeck)plant canopy was obtained by a multispectral camera array mounted at an eight-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)flying at an altitude of 100 m above the canopy in Wanzhou District of Chongqing Municipality,China.Average spectral reflectance data of the whole canopy,mature leaf areas and young leaves areas were extracted from the imagery.Two spectral pre-processing methods,multiplicative scatter correction(MSC)and standard normal variable(SNV),and two modeling methods,the partial least squares(PLS)and the least squares support vector machine(LS-SVM),were adopted and compared for their prediction accuracy of total content of nitrogen,soluble sugar and starch in the leaves.The results showed that,based on the spectral data extracted from the mature leaves in the multispectral imagery,the PLS model based on the original spectrum obtained a Rp(correlation coefficient)of 0.6469 and RMSEP(root mean squares error of prediction)of 0.1296,suggested that it was the best for the prediction of total nitrogen content;the PLS model based on MSC(multiplicative scatter correction)spectrum pre-processing was the best for predicting total soluble sugar content(Rp=0.6398 and RMSEP=8.8891);and the LS-SVM model based on MSC was the best for the starch content prediction(Rp=0.6822 and RMSEP=14.9303).The prediction accuracy for carbon and nitrogen contents based on the spectral data extracted from the whole canopy and the young leaves were lower than that from the mature leaves.The results indicate that it is feasible to estimate the carbon and nitrogen contents by low-altitude airborne multispectral images. | Liu Xuefeng Lyu Qiang He Shaolan Yi Shilai Hu Deyu Wang Zhitao Xie Rangjin Zheng Yongqiang Deng Lie | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5: | 2 |

| 19 | HIV-1 Protein Tat_(1–72) Impairs Neuronal Dendrites via Activation of PP1 and Regulation of the CREB/BDNF Pathway显示文摘Despite the success of combined antiretroviral therapy in recent years, the prevalence of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-associated neurocognitive disorders in people living with HIV-1 is increasing, significantly reducing the healthrelated quality of their lives. Although neurons cannot be infected by HIV-1, shed viral proteins such as transactivator of transcription(Tat) can cause dendritic damage. However, the detailed molecular mechanism of Tat-induced neuronal impairment remains unknown. In this study, we first showed that recombinant Tat(1–72 aa) induced neurotoxicity in primary cultured mouse neurons. Second, exposure to Tat_(1–72) was shown to reduce the length and number of dendrites in cultured neurons. Third, Tat_(1–72)(0–6 h) modulates protein phosphatase 1(PP1) expression and enhances its activity by decreasing the phosphorylation level of PP1 at Thr320. Finally, Tat_(1–72)(24 h) downregulates CREB activity and CREBmediated gene(BDNF, c-fos, Egr-1) expression.
