| 1 | Evaluation of mercury speciation and removal through air pollution control devices of a 190 MW boiler显示文摘Air pollution control devices(APCDs) are installed at coal-fired power plants for air pollutant regulation.Selective catalytic reduction(SCR) and wet flue gas desulfurization(FGD) systems have the co-benefits of air pollutant and mercury removal.Configuration and operational conditions of APCDs and mercury speciation affect mercury removal efficiently at coal-fired utilities.The Ontario Hydro Method(OHM) recommended by the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) was used to determine mercury speciation simultaneously at five sampling locations through SCR-ESP-FGD at a 190 MW unit.Chlorine in coal had been suggested as a factor affecting the mercury speciation in flue gas;and low-chlorine coal was purported to produce less oxidized mercury(Hg2+) and more elemental mercury(Hg0 ) at the SCR inlet compared to higher chlorine coal.SCR could oxidize elemental mercury into oxidized mercury when SCR was in service,and oxidation efficiency reached 71.0%.Therefore,oxidized mercury removal efficiency was enhanced through a wet FGD system.In the non-ozone season,about 89.5%-96.8% of oxidized mercury was controlled,but only 54.9%-68.8% of the total mercury was captured through wet FGD.Oxidized mercury removal efficiency was 95.9%-98.0%,and there was a big difference in the total mercury removal efficiencies from 78.0% to 90.2% in the ozone season.Mercury mass balance was evaluated to validate reliability of OHM testing data,and the ratio of mercury input in the coal to mercury output at the stack was from 0.84 to 1.08. | Chengli Wu Yan Cao Zhongbing Dong Chinmin Cheng Hanxu Li Weiping Pan | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,2: | 13 |

| 3 | Geology and geochemistry of the Bingdaban ophiolitic mélange in the boundary fault zone on the northern Central Tianshan Belt,and its tectonic implications显示文摘The properties and tectonic significance of the fault bound zone on the northern margin of the Central Tianshan belt are key issues to understand the tectonic framework and evolutionary history of the Tianshan Orogenic Belt. Based on the geological and geochemical studies in the Tianshan orogenic belt, it is suggested that the ophiolitic slices found in the Bingdaban area represent the remaining oceanic crust of the Early Paleozoic ocean between the Hazakstan and Zhungaer blocks. Mainly com-posed of basalts, gabbros and diabases, the ophiolites were overthrust onto the boundary fault be-tween the Northern Tianshan and Central Tianshan belts. The major element geochemistry is charac-terized by high TiO2 (1.50%-2.25%) and MgO (6.64%-9.35%), low K2O (0.06%-0.41%) and P2O5 (0.1%-0.2%), and Na2O>K2O as well. Low ΣREE and depletion in LREE indicate that the original magma was derived from a depleted mantle source. Compared with a primitive mantle, the geochemistry of the basalts from the Bingdaban area is featureded by depletion in Th, U, Nb, La, Ce and Pr, and unfrac-tionated in HFS elements. The ratios of Zr/Nb, Nb/La, Hf/Ta, Th/Yb and Hf/Th are similar to those of the typical N-MORB. It can be interpreted that the basalts in the Bingdaban area were derived from a de-pleted mantle source, and formed in a matured mid-oceanic ridge setting during the matured evolu-tionary stage of the Northern Tianshan ocean. In comparison with the basalts, the diabases from the Bingdaban area show higher contents of Al2O3, ∑REE and HFS elements as well as unfractionated incompatible elements except Cs, Rb and Ba, and about 10 times the values of the primitive mantle. Thus, the diabases are thought to be derived from a primitive mantle and similar to the typical E-MORB. The diabases also have slight Nb depletion accompanying no apparent Th enrichment compared with N-MORB. | 7 | Soliton formation and spectral translation into visible on CMOS-compatible 4H-silicon-carbide-oninsulator platform显示文摘Recent advancements in integrated soliton microcombs open the route to a wide range of chip-based communication,sensing,and metrology applications.The technology translation from laboratory demonstrations to real-world applications requires the fabrication process of photonics chips to be fully CMOS-compatible,such that the manufacturing can take advantage of the ongoing evolution of semiconductor technology at reduced cost and with high volume.Silicon nitride has become the leading CMOS platform for integrated soliton devices,however,it is an insulator and lacks intrinsic second-order nonlinearity for electro-optic modulation.Other materials have emerged such as AlN,LiNbO_(3),AlGaAs and GaP that exhibit simultaneous second-and third-order nonlinearities.Here,we show that silicon carbide(SiC)--already commercially deployed in nearly ubiquitous electrical power devices such as RF electronics,MOSFET,and MEMS due to its wide bandgap properties,excellent mechanical properties,piezoelectricity and chemical inertia--is a new competitive CMOS-compatible platform for nonlinear photonics.High-quality-factor microresonators(Q=4×10^(6))are fabricated on 4H-SiC-on-insulator thin films,where a single soliton microcomb is generated.In addition,we observe wide spectral translation of chaotic microcombs from near-infrared to visible due to the second-order nonlinearity of SiC.Our work highlights the prospects of SiC for future low-loss integrated nonlinear and quantum photonics that could harness electro-opto-mechanical interactions on a monolithic platform. | Chengli Wang Jin Li Ailun Yi Zhiwei Fang Liping Zhou Zhe Wang Rui Niu Yang Chen Jiaxiang Zhang Ya Cheng Junqiu Liu Chun-Hua Dong Xin Ou | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,12: | 1 |

| 9 | DNA crosslinking and recombination-activating genes 1/2(RAG1/2)are required for oncogenic splicing in acute lymphoblastic leukemia显示文摘Background:Abnormal alternative splicing is frequently associated with carcinogenesis.In B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(B-ALL),double homeobox 4 fused with immunoglobulin heavy chain(DUX4/IGH)can lead to the aberrant production of E-26 transformation-specific family related gene abnormal transcript(ERGalt)and other splicing variants.However,the molecular mechanism underpinning this process remains elusive.Here,we aimed to know how DUX4/IGH triggers abnormal splicing in leukemia.Methods:The differential intron retention analysis was conducted to identify novel DUX4/IGH-driven splicing in B-ALL patients.X-ray crystallography,small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),and analytical ultracentrifugation were used to investigate how DUX4/IGH recognize double DUX4 responsive element(DRE)-DRE sites.The ERGalt biogenesis and B-cell differentiation assays were performed to characterize the DUX4/IGH crosslinking activity.To check whether recombination-activating gene 1/2(RAG1/2)was required for DUX4/IGH-driven splicing,the proximity ligation assay,co-immunoprecipitation,mammalian two hybrid characterizations,in vitro RAG1/2 cleavage,and shRNA knock-down assays were performed.Results:We reported previously unrecognized intron retention events in Ctype lectin domain family 12,member A abnormal transcript(CLEC12Aalt)and chromosome 6 open reading frame 89 abnormal transcript(C6orf89alt),where also harbored repetitive DRE-DRE sites.Supportively,X-ray crystallography and SAXS characterization revealed that DUX4 homeobox domain(HD)1-HD2 might dimerize into a dumbbell-shape trans configuration to crosslink two adjacent DRE sites.Impaired DUX4/IGH-mediated crosslinking abolishes ERGalt,CLEC12Aalt,and C6orf89alt biogenesis,resulting in marked alleviation of its inhibitory effect on B-cell differentiation.Furthermore,we also observed a rare RAG1/2-mediated recombination signal sequence-like DNA edition in DUX4/IGH target genes.Supportively,shRNA knock-down of RAG1/2 in leukemic Reh cells consistently impaired the biogenesis of ERGalt,CLEC12Aalt,and C6orf89alt.Conclusions:All these results suggest that DUX4/IGH-driven DNA crosslinking is required for RAG1/2 recruitment onto the double tandem DRE-DRE sites,catalyzing V(D)J-like recombination and oncogenic splicing in acute lymphoblastic leukemia. | Hao Zhang Nuo Cheng Zhihui Li Ling Bai Chengli Fang Yuwen Li Weina Zhang Xue Dong Minghao Jiang Yang Liang Sujiang Zhang Jianqing Mi Jiang Zhu Yu Zhang Sai-Juan Chen Yajie Zhao Xiang-Qin Weng Weiguo Hu Zhu Chen Jinyan Huang Guoyu Meng | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,11: | 0 |
| 10 | Effect of reduction-oxidation treatment on structure and catalytic properties of ordered mesoporous Cu-Mg-Al composite oxides显示文摘Ordered mesoporous Cu–Mg–Al composite oxides were synthesized via the one-pot evaporation-induced self-assembly strategy. Using this method, copper was first homogeneously incorporated into the ordered mesoporous spinel matrix. After H2 reduction treatment,according to X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) results, copper existed as metallic nanoparticles with the size of 6–10 nm that well decorated the parent mesoporous skeleton. The metallic nanoparticles were then re-oxidized to copper oxide when exposed to air or during CO oxidation reaction at low temperatures. Thus, copper migrated from bulk spinel phase to the surface after the reduction–oxidation treatment. Moreover, the copper on the surface was re-incorporated into the bulk spinel phase by further thermaltreatment at much higher temperature in the presence of air. The correlation between the state of copper in the mesoporous composite oxides and the catalytic performance toward CO oxidation was studied.
