| 1 | Discrimination of the rare medicinal plant Dendrobium officinale based on naringenin, bibenzyl, and polysaccharides显示文摘The aim of this study was to establish a method for discriminating Dendrobium officinale from four of its close relatives Dendrobium chrysanthum, Dendrobium crystallinum, Dendrobium aphyllum and Dendrobium devonianum based on chemical composition analysis. We analyzed 62 samples of 24 Dendrobium species. High performance liquid chromatography analysis confirmed that the four low molecular weight compounds 4′,5,7-trihydroxyflavanone (naringenin), 3,4-dihydroxy-4′,5-dime- thoxybibenzyl (DDB-2), 3′,4-dihydroxy-3,5′-dimethoxybibenzyl (gigantol), and 4,4′-dihydroxy-3,3′,5-trimethoxybibenzyl (moscatilin), were common in the genus. The phenol-sulfuric acid method was used to quantify polysaccharides, and the monosaccharide composition of the polysaccharides was determined by gas chromatography. Stepwise discriminant analysis was used to differentiate among the five closely related species based on the chemical composition analysis. This proved to be a simple and accurate approach for discriminating among these species. The results also showed that the polysaccharide content, the amounts of the four low molecular weight compounds, and the mannose to glucose ratio, were important factors for species discriminant. | 3 | ICESat/GLAS-derived changes in the water level of Hulun Lake, Inner Mongolia, from 2003 to 2009显示文摘Hulun Lake is the largest freshwater lake innorthern Inner Mongolia and even minor changes in itslevel may have major effects on the ecology of the lake andthe surrounding area. In this study, we used high-precisionelevation data for the interval from 2003-2009 measuredby the Geoscience Laser Altimetry System (GLAS) onboard the Ice, Cloud, and land Elevation Satellite (ICESat)to assess annual and seasonal water level variations ofHulun Lake. The altimetry data of 32 satellite tracks wereprocessed using the RANdom SAmple Consensus algo-rithm (RANSAC) to eliminate elevation outliers, andsubsequently the Normalized Difference Water Index(NDWI) was used to delineate the area of the lake. From2003-2009, the shoreline of Hulun Lake retreatedwestwards, which was especially notable in the southernpart of the lake. There was only a small decrease in waterlevel, from 530.72 m to 529.22 m during 2003-2009, anaverage rate of 0.08 m/yr. The area of the lake decreased ata rate of 49.52 km^2/yr, which was mainly the result of theshallow bathymetry in the southern part of the basin. Thedecrease in area was initially rapid, then much slower, andfinally rapid again. Generally, the lake extent and waterlevel decreased due to higher temperatures, intenseevaporation, low precipitation, and decreasing runoff.And their fluctuations were caused by a decrease in intra-annual temperature, evaporation, and a slight increase inprecipitation. Overall, a combination of factors related toclimate change were responsible for the variations of thewater level of Hulun Lake during the study interval. | 4 | The Changes in Guilin Paddy Soil Organic Matter and Rice Yield under Long-Term Fertilization显示文摘Rational fertilization is an important measure to increase crop yield and soil fertility. Through analysis,this paper aims to master the change characteristics of soil organic matter and rice yield under different fertilizer treatments,in order to provide an important reference for the sustainable use of soil and effective fertilization. Long-term( 19 years) rice crop rotation experiments in waterloggogenic paddy soil were conducted to investigate the change trend of crop grain yield and soil organic matter with time,reveal the dynamic characteristics and relationship between main fertility factors and crop yields using comparative analysis at three sites with conventional fertilization and non-fertilization in Guilin. The results showed that compared with previous years,the rice yield increased by 53% under the fertilization treatment and degreased by 66% under the control. Over the years,the average soil organic matter( SOM) content under fertilization treatment was 23% higher than under CK treatment. | 5 | Detection of QTL and QTN and candidate genes for oil content in soybean using a combination of four-way-RIL and germplasm populations显示文摘Soybean is a source of edible oil for humans and provides a third of the vegetable oil consumed worldwide.Increasing seed oil content in seeds is thus a key objective in soybean breeding.In the present study,a four-way recombinant inbred line(FW-RIL)population comprising 144 lines,planted in 10 environments,and a germplasm panel of 455 accessions,planted in two environments,were used to collect oil-content phenotypes.First,59 quantitative trait loci(QTL)were detected in the FW-RIL population by inclusive complete interval mapping on a linkage map consisting of 2232 single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers.Also in the FW-RILs,44 quantitative trait nucleotides(QTNs)were detected by association analysis using 109,676 SNP markers and fivemethods of multi-locus genome-wide association study.Second,77 QTN were detected by association analysis in the germplasm panel using 63,306 markers.Comparison of the QTL and QTN suggested four QTN controlling oil content.Pathway analysis was performed on genes in attenuation regions of these four QTN,and two candidate genes involved in the synthesis or metabolism of soybean oil were identified.These findings provide useful information about the genetics of oil content and may contribute to its genetic improvement by marker-assisted selection. | Xiyu Li Kaixin Zhang Xu Sun Shanshan Huang Jiajing Wang Chang Yang Mahfishan Siyal Chao Wang Chunlan Guo Xiping Hu Wen-Xia Li Hailong Ning | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,5: | 2 |
| 6 | Effects of Coupling Treatment of Acid and Aluminum under Soilless Culture on Water Content of Ginkgo biloba L.显示文摘In this experiment,two-factor 7-level uniform design scheme was applied.Separate treatment of each factor was performed for single effect test.Then,it analyzed the effects of acid and aluminum stress under soilless culture on the water content of plant during the growth of Ginkgo biloba L.seedlings,so as to provide a theoretical basis for studying the connection between plant water and physiological stress.The results showed that the water content of G.biloba plants declined with the decrease of p H,but the water content of G.biloba plants declined with the increase in the concentration of aluminum treatment,indicating that the stronger the acid and aluminum stress,the lower the water content of the plants,affecting the normal absorption of water content of G.biloba plants,accordingly leading to lack of water.According to the analysis of the degree of influence on the water content,p H is the first factor influencing the growth of G.biloba plants.If p H is lower than 3.5,G.biloba plants will not growth,while p H is higher than 5.0,aluminum has no significant effect on the water content of G.biloba plants.In conclusion,the water content of G.biloba plants can be used as an essential indicator for acid and aluminum stress. | Qiuliang YU Huilan SU Chunlan CHEN Zhongfang LI | 2018 | Asian Agricultural Research2018,10,7: | 1 |
