| 3 | Multiple Dolomitization and Fluid Flow Events in the Precambrian Dengying Formation of Sichuan Basin, Southwestern China显示文摘The Precambrian Dengying Formation is a set of large-scale, extensively dolomitized, carbonate reservoirs occurring within the Sichuan Basin. Petrographic and geochemical studies reveal dolomitization was a direct result of precipitation by chemically distinct fluids occurring at different times and at different intensities. Based on this evidence, dolomitization and multiple fluid flow events are analyzed, and three types of fluid evolution models are proposed. Results of analysis show that Precambrian Dengying Formation carbonates were deposited in a restricted peritidal environment(630–542 Ma). A high temperature and high Mg^(2+) concentration seawater was a direct result of dolomitization for the micrite matrix, and for fibrous aragonite in primary pores. Geochemical evidence shows low δ^(18)O values of micritic dolomite varying from-1.29‰ to-4.52‰ PDB, abundant light rare earth elements(REEs), and low dolomite order degrees. Microbes and meteoric water significantly altered dolomite original chemical signatures, resulting in algal micritic dolomite and the fine-grained, granular, dolosparite dolomite having very negative δ^(18)O values. Finely crystalline cement dolomite(536.3–280 Ma) and coarsely crystalline cement dolomite have a higher crystallization degree and higher order degree. The diagenetic sequence and fluid inclusion evidence imply a linear correlation between their burial depth and homogenization temperatures, which closely resemble the temperature of generated hydrocarbon. Compared with finely crystalline dolomite, precipitation of coarsely crystalline dolomite was more affected by restricted basinal fluids. In addition, there is a trend toward a more negative δ^(18)O value, higher salinity, higher Fe and Mn concentrations, REE-rich. Two periods of hydrothermal fluids are identified, as the exceptionally high temperatures as opposed to the temperatures of burial history, in addition to the presence of high salinity fluid inclusions. The early hydrothermal fluid flow event was characterized by hot magnesium-and silicon-rich fluids, as demonstrated by the recrystallized matrix dolomite that is intimately associated with flint, opal, and microcrystalline quartz in intergranular or intercrystalline pores. This event was likely the result of a seafloor hydrothermal chimney eruption during Episode I of the Tongwan Movement(536.3±5.5 Ma). In contrast, later hydrothermal fluids, which caused precipitation of saddle dolomite, were characterized by high salinity(15–16.05 wt% NaCl equivalent) and homogenization temperatures(250 to 265°C), δ^(18)O values that were more enriched, and REE signatures. Geochemical data and the paragenetic sequence indicate that this hydrothermal fluid was related to extensive Permian large igneous province activity(360–280 Ma). | 6 | A reactive oxygen species burst causes haploid induction in maize显示文摘Haploid induction (HI) is an important tool in crop breeding. Phospholipase A1 (ZmPLA1)/NOT LIKE DAD (NLD)/MATRILINEAL (MTL) is a key gene controlling HI in maize;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. In this study, to dissect why loss of ZmPLA1 function could mediate HI we performed a comprehensive multiple omics analysis of zmpla1 mutant anthers by integrating transcriptome, metabolome, quantitative proteome, and protein modification data. Functional classes of significantly enriched or differentially abundant molecular entities were found to be associated with the oxidative stress response, suggesting that a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst plays a critical role in HI. In support of this, we further discovered that a simple chemical treatment of pollen with ROS reagents could lead to HI. Moreover, we identified ZmPOD65, which encodes a sperm-specific peroxidase, as a new gene controlling HI. | 9 | Development of a gaseous and solid-state hybrid system for stationary hydrogen energy storage显示文摘Hydrogen can serve as a carrier to store renewable energy in large scale.However,hydrogen storage still remains a challenge in the current stage.It is difficult to meet the technical requirements applying the conventional storage of compressed gaseous hydrogen in high-pressure tanks or the solid-state storage of hydrogen in suitable materials.In the present work,a gaseous and solid-state(G-S)hybrid hydrogen storage system with a low working pressure below 5 MPa for a 10 kW hydrogen energy storage experiment platform is developed and validated.A Ti-Mn type hydrogen storage alloy with an effective hydrogen capacity of 1.7 wt%was prepared for the G-S hybrid hydrogen storage system.The G-S hybrid hydrogen storage tank has a high volumetric hydrogen storage density of 40.07 kg H_(2)m^(-3) and stores hydrogen under pressure below5 MPa.It can readily release enough hydrogen at a temperature as low as-15C when the FC system is not fully activated and hot water is not available.The energy storage efficiency of this G-S hybrid hydrogen storage system is calculated to be 86.4%-95.9%when it is combined with an FC system.This work provides a method on how to design a G-S hydrogen storage system based on practical demands and demonstrates that the G-S hybrid hydrogen storage is a promising method for stationary hydrogen storage application. | Haizhen Liu Li Xu Yu Han Xin Chen Peng Sheng Shumao Wang Xiantun Huang Xinhua Wang Chenglin Lu Hui Luo Shixuan He Zhiqiang Lan Jin Guo | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,4: | 2 |
| 10 | Two-dimensional vanadium carbide for simultaneously tailoring the hydrogen sorption thermodynamics and kinetics of magnesium hydride显示文摘Magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))is a potential material for solid-state hydrogen storage.However,the thermodynamic and kinetic properties are far from practical application in the current stage.In this work,two-dimensional vanadium carbide(V_(2)C)MXene with layer thickness of 50−100 nm was fist synthesized by selectively HF-etching the Al layers from V_(2)AlC MAX phase and then introduced into MgH_(2) to improve the hydrogen sorption performances of MgH_(2).The onset hydrogen desorption temperature of MgH_(2) with V_(2)C addition is significantly reduced from 318℃ for pure MgH_(2) to 190℃,with a 128℃ reduction of the onset temperature.The MgH_(2)+10 wt%V_(2)C composite can release 6.4 wt%of H_(2) within 10 min at 300℃ and does not loss any capacity for up to 10 cycles.The activation energy for the hydrogen desorption reaction of MgH_(2) with V_(2)C addition was calculated to be 112 kJ mol^(−1) H_(2) by Arrhenius’s equation and 87.6 kJ mol^(−1) H_(2) by Kissinger’s equation.The hydrogen desorption reaction enthalpy of MgH_(2)+10 wt%V_(2)C was estimated by van’t Hoff equation to be 73.6 kJ mol^(−1) H_(2),which is slightly lower than that of the pure MgH_(2)(77.9 kJ mol^(−1) H_(2)).Microstructure studies by XPS,TEM,and SEM showed that V_(2)C acts as an efficient catalyst for the hydrogen desorption reaction of MgH_(2).The first-principles density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrated that the bond length of Mg−H can be reduced from 1.71A for pure MgH_(2) to 2.14A for MgH_(2) with V_(2)C addition,which contributes to the destabilization of MgH_(2).This work provides a method to significantly and simultaneously tailor the hydrogen sorption thermodynamics and kinetics of MgH_(2) by two-dimensional MXene materials. | Chenglin Lu Haizhen Liu Li Xu Hui Luo Shixuan He Xingqing Duan Xiantun Huang Xinhua Wang Zhiqiang Lan Jin Guo | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,4: | 2 |

| 14 | Evaporation Stage of Paleo-saline Lake in the Sichuan Basin, China: Insight from Fluid inclusions in Halite显示文摘Sichuan Basin is one of the most important marine–salt forming basins in China. The Simian and Triassic have a large number of evaporites. The Triassic strata have found a large amount of polyhalite and potassium-rich brine. However, no soluble potassium salt deposit were found. In this study, the halite in well Changping 3 which is located at the eastern part of the Sichuan basin was studied using the characteristics, hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of the fluid inclusion in halite to reconstruct the paleoenvironment. The salt rocks in well Changping 3 can be divided into two types: grey salt rock and orange salt rock. The result shows that the isotopic composition of the halite fluid inclusion is distinct from the global precipitation line reflecting that the salt formation process is under strong evaporation conditions and the climate is extremely dry. | 15 | Impact behaviors of poly-lactic acid based biocomposite reinforced with unidirectional high-strength magnesium alloy wires显示文摘A novel poly-lactic acid(PLA) based biocomposite reinforced with unidirectional high-strength magnesium alloy(Mg-alloy) wires for bone fracture fixation was fabricated by hot-compressing process. The macroscopical and microscopical impact behaviors of the biocomposite were investigated using impact experiments and finite element method(FEM), respectively. The results indicated that the biocomposite had favorable impact properties due to the plastic deformation behavior of Mg-alloy wires during impact process. While the content of Mg-alloy wires reached20 vol%, the impact strength of the composite could achieve 93.4 k J/m2, which is approximate 16 times larger than that of pure PLA fabricated by the same process. According to FEM simulation results, the complete destruction life of the composites during impact process increased with increasing volume fraction of Mg-alloy wires, indicating a high impact-bearing ability of the composite for bone fracture fixation.Simultaneously, the energy absorbed by Mg-alloy wires in the composites had a corresponding increase. | 16 | Effect of manipulation on cartilage in rats with knee osteoarthritis based on the Rho-associated protein kinase/LIM kinase 1/Cofilin signaling pathways显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of manipulation treatment on knee osteoarthritis rats and the effect on Rho-associated protein kinase(ROCK)/LIM-kinase1(LIMK1)/Cofilin signaling pathway.METHOD:Fifty Specific pathogen Free Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=8 each):blank group,model group,manipulation group,celecoxib group,and manipulation combined with celecoxib group(MC group).The osteoarthritis model was established by injecting 0.2 m L 4%papain into the articular disc of the rats.After successfully establishing the model,we treated the manipulation group with pushing manipulation using one-finger-meditation to the Neixiyan(EX-LE4),Waixiyan(EX-LE5),Xuehai(SP10),Liangqiu(ST34),and Zusanli(ST36)acupoints for 10 min each time.Also,the celecoxib group was gavaged with 24 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1 )celecoxib,while the MC group was treated using both of these two methods.After four weeks,the cartilage of the right femur was removed for hematoxylin-eosin staining of the cartilage tissue.The expressions of interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in serum were observed using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Besides,we detected the expressions of ROCK,LIMK1,Phospho-LIM-kinase1(Phospho-LIMK1),Cofilin,and Phospho-Cofilin by Western blot.RESULTS:Compared to the model group,the manipulation group,celecoxib group,and MC group all exhibited superior results concerning pathological morphologic changes of cartilage,as observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining and calculated using the Mankin score.Besides,in contrast to the blank group,the model group exhibited elevated serum levels of IL-1βand TNF-α(P<0.01),while the expression of ROCK,LIMK1,Phospho-LIMK1,Cofilin,and Phospho-Cofilin in cartilage were all higher(P<0.01).Also,the serum levels of IL-1βand TNF-αin each treatment group were lower(P<0.01)than in the model group.Moreover,there were lower expressions of ROCK,LIMK1,Phospho-LIMK1,Cofilin,and Phospho-Cofilin in cartilage in the manipulation group and the MC group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the expression of ROCK,LIMK1,PhosphoLIMK1,Cofilin,and Phospho-Cofilin in cartilage in the celecoxib group were not statistically different(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:In this study,we established that manipulation has a better curative effect than celecoxib.Manipulation inhibits the development of cytoskeleton damage in cartilage and slows articular degeneration by regulating the expression of related proteins in the cytoskeletal signaling pathway. | GUO Xiao YANG Yunhao LIAO Dongmei PANG Fang YANG Zhixue ZHU Zhengwei LUO Ao TANG Chenglin | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,2: | 1 |

| 18 | Viral metagenomics analysis of feces from coronary heart disease patients reveals the genetic diversity of the Microviridae显示文摘Recent studies have declared that members of the ss DNA virus family Microviridae play an important role in multiple environments, as they have been found taking a dominant position in the human gut. The aim of this study was to analyze the overall composition of the gut virome in coronary heart disease(CHD) patients, and try to discover the potential link between the human gut virome and CHD. Viral metagenomics methods were performed to detect the viral sequences in fecal samples collected from CHD inpatients and healthy persons as controls. We present the analysis of the virome composition in these CHD patients and controls. Our data shows that the virome composition may be linked to daily living habits and the medical therapy of CHD.Virgaviridae and Microviridae were the two dominant types of viruses found in the enteric virome of CHD patients. Fourteen divergent viruses belonging to the family Microviridae were found, twelve of which were grouped into the subfamily Gokushovirinae, while the remaining two strains might represent two new subfamilies within Microviridae, according to the phylogenetic analysis. | 19 | Characteristics and exploration targets of Chang 7 shale oil in Triassic Yanchang Formation, Ordos Basin, NW China显示文摘The geological characteristics and enrichment laws of the shale oil in the third submember of the seventh member of Triassic Yanchang Formation(Chang 7_(3)) in the Ordos Basin were analyzed by using the information of core observations, experiments and logging, and then the exploration potential and orientation of the Chang 7_(3) shale oil were discussed. The research findings are obtained in three aspects. First, two types of shale oil, i.e. migratory-retained and retained, are recognized in Chang 7_(3). The former is slightly better than the latter in quality. The migratory-retained shale oil reservoir is featured with the frequent interbedding and overlapping of silty-sandy laminae caused by sandy debris flow and low-density turbidity current and semi-deep-deep lacustrine organic-rich shale laminae. The retained shale oil reservoir is composed of black shale with frequent occurrence of bedding and micro-laminae. Second, high-quality source rocks provide a large quantity of hydrocarbon-rich high-quality fluids with high potential energy. The source-reservoir pressure difference provides power for oil accumulation in thin interbeds of organic-poor sandstones with good seepage conditions and in felsic lamina, tuffaceous lamina and bedding fractures in shales. Hydrocarbon generation-induced fractures, bedding fractures and microfractures provide high-speed pathways for oil micro-migration. Frequent sandstone interlayers and felsic laminae provide a good space for large-scale hydrocarbon accumulation, and also effectively improve the hydrocarbon movability. Third, sand-rich areas around the depression are the main targets for exploring migratory-retained shale oil. Mature deep depression areas are the main targets for exploring retained oil with medium to high maturity.
