1Deep imitation reinforcement learning for self-driving by vision显示文摘Deep reinforcement learning has achieved some remarkable results in self-driving.There is quite a lot of work to do in the area of autonomous driving with high real-time requirements because of the inefficiency of reinforcement learning in exploring large continuous motion spaces.A deep imitation reinforcement learning(DIRL)framework is presented to leam control policies of self-driving vehicles,which is based on a deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm(DDPG)by vision.The DIRL framework comprises two components,the perception module and the conttol module,using imitation learning(IL)and DDPG,respectively;The perception module employs the IL network as an encoder which processes an image into a low-dimensional feature vector.This vector is then delivered to the control module which outputs control commands.Meanwhile,the actor network of the DDPG is initialized with the trained IL network to improve exploration efficiency.In addition,a reward function for reinforcement learning is defined to improve the stability of self-driving vehicles,especially on curves.DIRL is verified by the open racing car simulator(TORCS),and the results show that the correct control strategy is learned successfully and has less training time.Qijie Zou Kang Xiong Qiang Fang Bohan Jiang 2021CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2021,6,4:1
2Regulation of rhizosphere microenvironment by rice husk ash for reducing the accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in rice显示文摘It is important to reduce Cd and As content in brown rice in contaminated paddy soils.We conducted research on the effects of rice husk ash (RHA) on the Cd and As in the rhizosphere microenvironment (soil,porewater,and iron plaque) and measured the Cd,As,and Si content in rice plants.The main elements in RHA were Si (29.64%) and O (69.17%),which had the maximum adsorption capacity for Cd was 42.49 mg/kg and for As was 18.62 mg/kg.Soil pH and available Si content increased,while soil available Cd and As decreased following application of 0.5%–2%RHA.RHA promote the transformation of Cd to insoluble fraction,while As was transformed from a poorly soluble form to a more active one.RHA reduced Cd content and increased Si content in porewater,and reduced As only at the later rice growth stages.RHA increased the amount of iron plaque,thereby decreasing the Cd content in iron plaque,while increased the As content in it.Cd and inorganic As content in brown rice were decreased,to 0.31 mg/kg and 0.18 mg/kg,respectively.The decrease of Cd in brown rice was due to the decrease of Cd mobility in soil,thereby reducing root accumulation,while the decrease of As in brown rice was affected by the transport from roots to stems.Therefore,RHA can be considered as a safe and efficient in-situ remediation amendment for Cd and As co-contaminated paddy soil.Yi Jiang Ya Liu Xuantao Yi Peng Zeng Bohan Liao Hang Zhou Jiaofeng Gu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
3Quantifying compliance with COVID-19 mitigation policies in the US: A mathematical modeling study显示文摘The outbreak of COVID-19 disrupts the life of many people in the world.In response to this global pandemic,various institutions across the globe had soon issued their prevention guidelines.Governments in the US had also implemented social distancing policies.However,those policies,which were designed to slow the spread of COVID-19,and its compliance,have varied across the states,which led to spatial and temporal heterogeneity in COVID-19 spread.This paper aims to propose a spatio-temporal model for quantifying compliance with the US COVID-19 mitigation policies at a regional level.To achieve this goal,a specific partial differential equation(PDE)is developed and validated with shortterm predictions.The proposed model describes the combined effects of transboundary spread among state clusters in the US and human mobilities on the transmission of COVID-19.The model can help inform policymakers as they decide how to react to future outbreaks.Nao Yamamoto Bohan Jiang Haiyan Wang 2021Infectious Disease Modelling2021,6,1:0
4N^(6)-methyladenosine demethylase ALKBH5:a novel regulator of proliferation and differentiation of chicken preadipocytes显示文摘Previous studies have reported that the N^(6)-methyladenosine demethylase ALKBH5 can regulate adipogenesis in humans.However,its function in birds remains unclear.In this study we aimed to explore the expression and function of the ALKBH5 gene in chicken adipose tissue.The results showed that ALKBH5 is widely expressed in various chicken tissues,and the expression of ALKBH5 is relatively higher in abdominal adipose tissue.In addition,the expression of ALKBH5 in abdominal adipose tissue of lean broilers is higher than that in fat broilers at 2 and 3 weeks of age.Moreover,the proliferation and differentiation of preadipocytes are associated with reduced and increased expression of ALKBH5,respectively.We also found that ALKBH5 knockout promotes preadipocyte proliferation,as evidenced by an increase in cell viability,DNA replication activity,G_(1)-S cell cycle progression,and the expressions of Ki67 and PCNA.Furthermore,after knockout of ALKBH5,the lipid droplet accumulation and the expression of PPAR_(γ),A-FABP,and FAS are reduced significantly.Thus,our results indicated that ALKBH5 is a novel regulator of proliferation and differentiation of chicken preadipocytes.Qi Zhang Bohan Cheng Haixu Jiang Huili Zhang Hui Li 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,1:0
5Regulated deficit irrigation:an effective way to solve the shortage of agricultural water for horticulture显示文摘The deficient agricultural water caused by water shortage is a crucial limiting factor of horticultural production.Among many agricultural water-saving technologies,regulated deficit irrigation(RDI)has been proven to be one of the effective technologies to improve water use efficiency and reduce water waste on the premise of maintaining the quality of agricultural products.RDI was first reported more than 40years ago,although it has been applied in some areas,little is known about understanding of the implementation method,scope of application and detailed mechanism of RDI,resulting in the failure to achieve the effect that RDI should have.This review refers to the research on RDI in different crops published in recent years,summarizes the definition,equipment condition,function,theory illumination,plant response and application in different crops of RDI,and looks forward to its prospect.We expect that this review will provide valuable guidance for researchers and producers concerned,and support the promotion of RDI in more horticultural crops.Bohan Yang Peining Fu Jiang Lu Fengwang Ma Xiangyu Sun Yulin Fang 2022Stress Biology2022,2,1:0
6Electronic Characteristics of Perylene Diimide Anion Radical and Dianion Films by Quantitative Doping显示文摘Due to their unique physicochemical properties,the anion radical and dianion of perylene diimide derivatives(PDIs)recently attracted significant attention for organic semiconductors.However,the impact of packing structure and the radical content for carrier transport in the solid state still need to be determined.Bringing the electron-withdrawing groups is an effective strategy for enablingπ−πstacking distance.Here,bay-tetrachloro-substituted PDI(B-4Cl-PDI)anion radical and dianion films were fabricated quantitatively doped with N_(2)H_(4)·H_(2)O.The radical contents were quantitatively calculated by absorption spectra in different doping ratios.The X-ray powder diffraction patterns showed that the anion radical presented a crystalline structure,and dianion aggregates exhibited an amorphous structure.With precise manipulation of the radical content,the anion radical aggregates and dianion aggregates showed the maximum electrical conductivity value of 0.024 and 0.0018 S/cm,respectively.The experiment results show that doping level and aggregate structure play a crucial role in electronic transport properties.JIA Yanhua JIANG Qinglin WANG Bohan YANG Jiaji ZHANG Jiang MA Yuguang 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,2:0
7Ammonia volatilization and availability of Cu,Zn induced by applications of urea with and without coating in soils显示文摘Ammonia volatilization and the distribution of Cu and Zn were investigated in two types of soil treated with coated and uncoated urea.The rate of ammonia volatilization in two weeks after fertilizing with coated urea was 8% in soil 1 (soil derived from river alluvial deposits in Dongting Lake Plain) and 5.15% in soil 2 (red soil derived from quaternary red clay),about half the rates observed when fertilizing with common urea,implying that the hydrolysis speed of the coated urea was lower than for common urea,and that the coated urea can increase nitrogen use efficacy.As for the availability of Cu and Zn,their concentrations decreased in the first week after fertilization,and then increased,which was contrary to the effect of treatment on soil pH.For example,when the pH was 7.99,there was 0.79mg/kg exchangeable Cu and 0.85mg/kg exchangeable Zn in the soil derived from river alluvial deposits in Dongting Lake Plain.However,the concentrations of exchangeable Cu and Zn were generally lower for the common urea treatments than those with the coated urea because the peak pH for the common urea treatment was greater.The concentrations of these elements correlated well with pH in the range 4-8 in second order polynomial fits.Zhaohui Jiang Qingru Zeng Boqing Tie Bohan Liao Hejie Pi Xiaoyou Feng Yulin Sun 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,1:0
