| 1 | Preparation and Arc Breakdown Behavior of Nanocrystalline W-Cu Electrical Contact Materials显示文摘Nanostructured (NS) W-Cu composite powder was prepared by mechanical alloying (MA), and nanostructured bulk ofW-Cu contact material was fabricated by hot pressed sintering in an electrical vacuum furnace. The microstructure,electric conductivity, hardness, breakdown voltage and arcing time of NS W-Cu alloys were measured and comparedto conventional W-Cu alloys prepared by powder metallurgy. The results show that microstructural refinement anduniformity can improve the breakdown behavior, the electric arc stability and the arc extinction ability of nanos-tructured W-Cu contacts materials. | 3 | Influence of torrefaction pretreatment on biomass gasification technology显示文摘Torrefaction is a slow pyrolysis process that is carried out in the relatively low temperature range of 220-300°C.The influence of torrefaction as a pretreatment on biomass gasification technology was investigated using a bench-scale torrefaction unit,a bench-scale laminar entrained-flow gasifier,and the analysis techniques TGA-FTIR and low temperature nitrogen adsorption.A series of experiments were performed to examine the characteristics of the torrefaction process,the properties of torrefaction products,and the effects of torrefaction on gas composition,cold gas efficiency and gasification efficiency.The results showed that during the torrefaction process the moisture content of biomass were reduced,and the wood fiber structure of the material was destroyed.This was beneficial to storage,transport and subsequent treatments of biomass in large scale.For solid products,torrefaction increased the energy density,decreased the oxygen/carbon ratio,and created a more complex pore structure.These improved the syngas quality and cold gas efficiency.Combustible gases accounted for about 50% of non-condensable gaseous torrefaction products.Effective use of the torrefaction gases can save energy and improve efficiency.Overall,biomass torrefaction technology has good application prospects in gasification processes. | CHEN Qing ZHOU JinSong LIU BingJun MEI QinFeng LUO ZhongYang | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,14: | 6 |
| 4 | Preparation of polymer-supported hydrated ferric oxide based on Donnan membrane effect and its application for arsenic removal显示文摘In the present study a novel technique was proposed to prepare a polymer-supported hydrated ferric oxide (D201-HFO) based on Donnan membrane effect by using a strongly basic anion exchanger D201 as the host material and FeCl3-HCl-NaCl solution as the reaction environment. D201-HFO was found to exhibit higher capacity for arsenic removal than a commercial sorbent Purolite ArsenX. Furthermore, it presents favorable adsorption selectivity for arsenic removal from aqueous solution, as well as satis- factory kinetics. Fixed-bed column experiments showed that arsenic sorption on D201-HFO could re- sult in concentration of this toxic metalloid element below 10 μg/L, which was the new maximum con- centration limit set recently by the European Commission and imposed by the US EPA and China. | 6 | Soybean hairy roots produced in vitro by Agrobacterium rhizogenes-mediated transformation显示文摘Soybean is one of the world's most important oil and protein crops. Efficient transformation is a key factor for the improvement of soybean by genetic modification. We describe an optimized protocol for the Agrobacterium rhizogenes-mediated transformation of soybean and the induction of hairy root development in vitro. Cotyledons with 0.5-cm hypocotyls were cut from 5-day-old seedlings and used as explants. After infection and co-cultivation,hairy roots were produced in induction culture medium after 10–12 days. Using this method, 90%–99% of the infected explants of five different cultivars produced hairy roots within one month. Observations using reporter constructs showed that 30%–60% of the hairy roots induced were transformed. | 9 | Validation and modification of the AJCC 8th TNM staging system for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in a Chinese cohort:A nationwide pancreas data center analysis显示文摘Objective:To validate the 8 th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer(AJCC)staging system for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)in a Chinese cohort of radically resected patients and to develop a refined staging system for PDAC.Methods:Data were collected from the China Pancreas Data Center(CPDC)for patients with resected PDAC in 2016 and 2017,and cancer-specific survival(CSS)was evaluated using the Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test.Univariate and multivariate analyses based on Cox regression were performed to identify prognostic factors.The recursive partitioning analysis(RPA),Kaplan-Meier method,and log-rank test were performed on the training dataset to generate a proposed modification for the 8 th TNM staging system utilizing the preoperative carbohydrate antigen(CA)19-9 level.Validation was performed for both staging systems in the validation cohort.Results:A total of 1,676 PDAC patients were retrieved,and the median CSS was significantly different between the 8 th TNM groupings,with no significant difference in survival between stage IB and IIA.The analysis of T and N stages demonstrated a better prognostic value in the N category.Multivariate analysis showed that the preoperative serum CA19-9 level was the strongest prognostic indicator among all the independent risk factors.All patients with CA19-9>500 U/mL had similar survival,and we proposed a new staging system by combining IB and IIA and stratifying all patients with high CA19-9 into stage III.The modified staging system had a better performance for predicting CSS than the 8 th AJCC staging scheme.Conclusions:The 8 th AJCC staging system for PDAC is suitable for a Chinese cohort of resected patients,and the N category has a better prognostic value than the T category.Our modified staging system has superior accuracy in predicting survival than the 8 th AJCC TNM staging system. | Hao Hu Chang Qu Bingjun Tang Weikang Liu Yongsu Ma Yiran Chen Xuehai Xie Yan Zhuang Hongqiao Gao Xiaodong Tian Yinmo Yang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4: | 3 |

| 16 | Flexible,stretchable,and transparent InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells/polyacrylamide hydrogel-based light emitting diodes显示文摘Visualization is a direct,efficient,and simple interface method to realize the interaction between human and machine,whereas the flexible display unit,as the major bottleneck,still deeply hinders the advances of wearable and virtual reality devices.To obtain flexible optoelectronic devices,one of the effective methods is to transfer a high-efficient and long-lifetime inorganic optoelectronic film from its rigid epitaxial substrate to a foreign flexible/soft substrate.Additionally,piezo-phototronic effect is a fundamental theory for guiding the design of flexible optoelectronic devices.Herein,we demonstrate a flexible,stretchable,and transparent InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells(MQWs)/polyacrylamide(PAAM)hydrogel-based light emitting diode coupling with the piezo-phototronic effect.The quantum well energy band and integrated luminous intensity(increased by more than 31.3%)are significantly modulated by external mechanical stimuli in the device.Benefiting from the small Young's modulus of hydrogel and weak Van der Waals force,the composite film can endure an extreme tensile condition of about 21.1%stretching with negligible tensile strains transmitted to the InGaN/GaN MQWs.And the stable photoluminescence characteristics can be observed.Moreover,the hydrogen-bond adsorption and excellent transparency of the hydrogel substrate greatly facilitate the packaging and luminescence of the optoelectronic device.And thus,such a novel integration scheme of inorganic semiconductor materials and organic hydrogel materials would help to guide the robust stretchable optoelectronic devices,and show great potential in emerging wearable devices and virtual reality applications. | Jiwei Chen Jiangwen Wang Keyu Ji Bing Jiang Xiao Cui Wei Sha Bingjun Wang Xinhuan Dai Qilin Hua Lingyu Wan Weiguo Hu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 1 |
| 17 | Integration of phospholipid-drug complex into self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system to facilitate oral delivery of paclitaxel显示文摘Self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system(SNEDDS) has emerged as a promising platform to improve oral absorption of drugs with poor solubility and low permeability. However,large polarity molecules with insufficient lipid solubility,such as paclitaxel(PTX),would suffer from inferior formulation of SNEDDS due to poor compatibility. Herein,phospholipid-drug complex(PLDC) and SNEDDS were integrated into one system to facilitate oral delivery of PTX. First,PTX was formulated into PLDC in response to its inferior physicochemical properties. Then,the prepared PLDC was further formulated into SNEDDS by integrating these two drug delivery technologies into one system(PLDC-SNEDDS). After PLDC-SNEDDS dispersed in aqueous medium,nanoemulsion was formed immediately with an average particle size of ~30 nm. Furthermore,the nanomulsion of PLDC-SNEDDS showed good colloidal stability in both HCl solution(0.1 mol/l,p H 1.0) and phosphate buffer solution(PBS,p H 6.8). | 18 | Size distribution of individuals in the population of Asterias amurensis(Echinodermata: Asteroidea) and its reproductive cycle in China显示文摘To obtain baseline information on the size distribution of individuals in the population and reproductive features of sea star Asterias amurensis, monthly surveys of the population were carried out from May to December 2010 and March to May 2015 in coastal waters off Yantai, China. Spawning period was predicted by gonad and pyloric caeca indices as well as anatomical and histological methods. In the A. amurensis population, both large individuals(>143 mm) and small ones(<42 mm) were present in all sampling months. The population size structure was driven by the appearance of big cohorts of individuals less than 55 mm from May to August. The appearance of small individuals in all months suggested a prolonged spawning period at other sites in this bay or sea stars growing slowly because of food shortage. An arm length is a good predictor to wet body weight for A.amurensis. The development of gonad was relative slow from May to September but rapidly reached a peak of20.95 in October 2010, and then dropped remarkably, indicating its spawning lasted from October to November.The same phenomenon was found from March to May 2015, suggesting another spawning during March to May,which was also verified by the results of histologic analysis on ovary. The gonad index(GI) and pyloric caeca index(PCI) tended to show a negative relationship.
