1Studies on diversity of higher fungi in Yunnan, southwestern China:A review显示文摘Yunnan is exceedingly rich in higher fungi(Ascomycota and Basidiomycota). Given that the number of fungi(including lichens) occurring in a given area is, as Hawksworth suggested, roughly six times that of local vascular plants, a total of approximately 104,000 fungal species would be expected in Yunnan.However, to date only about 6000 fungal species, including roughly 3000 species of higher fungi, have been reported from the province. Although studies on Yunnan's fungi started in the late nineteenth century, significant progress has been made only in the last forty-five years. Over the first twenty-five years of this period, studies on fungal diversity in this area have largely been about taxonomy based on morphological characters and partially on geographical distribution. Over the past twenty years, the combination of both morphological and molecular phylogenetic approaches has become the preferred method to help understand the diversity and evolution of higher fungi. This review focuses on our current knowledge of how geological, geographical, and ecological factors may have contributed to the diversity patterns of higher fungi in Yunnan. 2Molecular phylogenetic analyses redefine seven major clades and reveal 22 new generic clades in the fungal family Boletaceae显示文摘Mushrooms in the basidiomycete family Boletaceae are ecologically and economically very important.However,due to the morphological complexity and the limited phylogenetic information on the various species and genera of this fungal family,our understanding of its systematics and evolution remains rudimentary.In this study,DNA sequences of four genes(nrLSU,tef1-α,rpb1,and rpb2)were newly obtained from ca.200 representative specimens of Boletaceae.Our phylogenetic analyses revealed seven major clades at the subfamily level,namely Austroboletoideae,Boletoideae,Chalciporoideae,Leccinoideae,Xerocomoideae,Zangioideae,and the Pulveroboletus Group.In addition,59 genus-level clades were identified,of which 22 were uncovered for the first time.These 22 clades were mainly placed in Boletoideae and the Pulveroboletus Group.The results further indicated that the characters frequently used in the morphology-based taxonomy of Boletaceae,such as basidiospore ornamentation,the form of the basidioma,and the stuffed pores each had multiple origins within the family,suggesting that the use of such features for high-level classification of Boletaceae should be de-emphasized and combined with other characters.Gang Wu Bang Feng Jianping Xu Xue-Tai Zhu Yan-Chun Li Nian-Kai Zeng MdIqbal Hosen Zhu L.Yang 2014Fungal Diversity2014,,6:4
3CRISPR/Cas9-mediated mutagenesis at microhomologous regions of human mitochondrial genome显示文摘Genetic manipulation of mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)could be harnessed for deciphering the gene function of mitochondria;it also acts as a promising approach for the therapeutic correction of pathogenic mutation in mtDNA.However,there is still a lack of direct evidence showing the edited mutagenesis within human mtDNA by clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats-associated protein 9(CRISPR/Cas9).Here,using engineered CRISPR/Cas9,we observed numerous insertion/deletion(InDel)events at several mtDNA microhomologous regions,which were triggered specifically by double-strand break(DSB)lesions within mtDNA.InDel mutagenesis was significantly improved by sgRNA multiplexing and a DSB repair inhibitor,iniparib,demonstrating the evidence of rewiring DSB repair status to manipulate mtDNA using CRISPR/Cas9.These findings would provide novel insights into mtDNA mutagenesis and mitochondrial gene therapy for diseases involving pathogenic mtDNA.Bang Wang Xiujuan Lv Yufei Wang Zhibo Wang Qi Liu Bin Lu Yong Liu Feng Gu 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,9:3

5Preparation of Novel Side-chain Pseudopolyrotaxanes Consisting of Cucurbituril[6] and Polyamine Salts显示文摘Pseudorotaxane monomer (VBCB) containing cucurbitutil[6] (CB[6]) and N1-(4- vinylbenzyl)-1,4-diaminobutane dihydrochloride (VBDADC) is obtained by self-assembly of cucurbituril[6] with VBDADC in water and then polymerized using potassium persulfate (KPS) as initiator to give novel water-soluble side-chain cucurbituril[6]-based pseudopolyrotaxane (PVBCB). The chemical structures of PVBCB, VBCB and VBDADC are confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectra and elemental analysis. 12TiO_2-assisted photo-catalysis degradation process of dye chemicals显示文摘The photo\|catalytic degradation pathway and degradation products of methylene blue, rhodamine B, methyl orange, and malachite green in aqueous TiO 2 suspension irradiated by high pressure mercury lamp by means of UV\|visible absorption spectra and ion chromatography were investigated. The photo\|catalysis degradation of dye solutions with charges was greatly effected by pH value owing to the electrostatic model. The photo\|degradation rate of dyes anion increased with the decrease of pH value, in contrast, the photo\|degradation rate of dyes cation increased with the increase of pH value. And the absorption peaks diminished with a blue shift. After illuminated for 30 minutes, a part of dye chemicals were completely mineralized and transferred into inorganic species including chloride ion, ammonium ion, nitrate ion, sulfate ion. And the addition of 100 mmol/L H 2O 2 promoted the formation of inorganic species. In this study, the quantity of ammonium ion was much more than that of nitrate ion. That indicated the formation of nitrate is from ammonium. The purification rate of COD in four kinds of dye solution was 71.7%—88.7%. 204-6 Measurement of the Ratio of C3+ and O4+ Ions Produced by ECR Source to Prepare a Laser Cooling Experiment at Storage Rings显示文摘The cooling of heavy ions can provide high-quality beams that are especially important for high-precisionexperimental nuclear and atomic physics. The laser cooling of relativistic C3+ ion beams at the experimental coolerstorage ring (CSRe) is being currently prepared at Institute of Modern Physics (IMP) in Lanzhou. An electroncyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS) will be used to produce C3+ ion beams. Meanwhile, O4+ ions could alsobe produced due to residual gas because of the same mass-to-charge ratio. Therefore, both C3+ and O4+ ion beamswill be injected and circulate in a storage ring during the laser cooling experiment at the same time.
