1Online recognition of the multiphase flow regime显示文摘The key reasons that the present method cannot be used to solve the industrial multi- phase flow pattern recognition are clarified firstly. The prerequisite to realize the online recognition is proposed and recognition rules for partial flow pattern are obtained based on the massive experimental data. The standard templates for every flow regime feature are calculated with self-organization cluster algorithm. The multi-sensor data fusion method is proposed to realize the online recognition of multiphase flow regime with the pressure and differential pressure signals, which overcomes the severe influence of fluid flow velocity and the oil fraction on the recognition. The online recognition method is tested in the practice, which has less than 10 percent measurement error. 5Effect of esculetin on bone metabolism in ovariectomized rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the effect of an esculetin formulation(at 97.4% purity) on osteoporosis, and to investigate the potential underlying molecular mechanism(s).METHODS: Sixty specific pathogen free-grade female Wistar rats were randomly assigned to three groups: blank control(n = 12), sham(n = 12), and model(n = 36). The model group were bilaterally ovariectomized. The sham group had the tissue surrounding the ovaries removed, while the ovaries were retained. After 3 months, the model group was randomly divided into three subgroups: OVX(n = 12), positive control(n = 12), and esculetin(n =12). The positive control group and the esculetin group were intragastrically administered diethylstilbestrol(0.046 mgkd^(-1)), respec·kg^(-1)tively,·d^(-1)) or esculetin(384 mgg^(-1) once per day for 6 consecu··-tive days; medication administration was then stopped for 1 d, before being administered for another 6 consecutive days. All rats were treated for 3months. Samples were collected at the end of the treatment period. An Osteocore3 Digital 2D bone densitometer was used to test the bone mineral density, and histomorphometric analysis was performed to measure bone mass, bone formation,and bone resorption. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay analysis was used to measure the serum concentrations of interleukin-6(IL-6), osteoprotegerin(OPG), and receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappa B ligand(RANKL). Immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization were performed to detect the protein and mRNA expressions of OPG and RANKL in osteoblasts and bone marrow stromal cells.RESULTS: Compared with the OVX group, the esculetin group had significantly greater femoral bone mineral density and tibial trabecular bone volume,and significantly smaller trabecular resorption surface. The percentage of trabecular formation surface, average osteoid width, trabecular bone mineralization rate, and cortical bone mineralization rate did not significantly differ between groups. Compared with the sham group, the esculetin group had significantly decreased serum levels of IL-6and RANKL, and significant downregulation of RANKL protein and mRNA expression levels in osteoblasts and bone marrow stromal cells; however, there was no significant difference between groups in OPG.CONCLUSION: Esculetin can increase bone mass by upregulating RANKL expression in osteoblasts and bone marrow stromal cells, and decreasing serum IL-6 concentration. 7Overexpression of PvWOX3a in switchgrass promotes stem development and increases plant height显示文摘Switchgrass(Panicum virgatum L.)is an important perennial,noninvasive,tall ornamental grass that adds color and texture to gardens and landscapes.Moreover,switchgrass has been considered a forage and bioenergy crop because of its vigorous growth,low-input requirements,and broad geography.Here,we identified PvWOX3a from switchgrass,which encodes a WUSCHEL-related homeobox transcription factor.Transgenic overexpression of PvWOX3a in switchgrass increased stem length,internode diameter,and leaf blade length and width,all of which contributed to a 95%average increase in dry weight biomass compared with control plants.Yeast one-hybrid and transient dual-luciferase assays showed that PvWOX3a can repress the expression of gibberellin 2-oxidase and cytokinin oxidase/dehydrogenase through apparently direct interaction with their promoter sequences.These results suggested that overexpression of PvWOX3a could increase gibberellin and cytokinin levels in transgenic switchgrass plants,which promotes cell division,elongation,and vascular bundle development.We also overexpressed PvWOX3a in a transgenic miR156-overexpressing switchgrass line that characteristically exhibited more tillers,thinner internodes,and narrower leaf blades.Double transgenic switchgrass plants displayed significant increases in internode length and diameter,leaf blade width,and plant height but retained a tiller number comparable to that of plants expressing miR156 alone.Ultimately,the double transgenic switchgrass plants produced 174%more dry-weight biomass and 162%more solubilized sugars on average than control plants.These findings indicated that PvWOX3a is a viable potential genetic target for engineering improved shoot architecture and biomass yield of horticulture,fodder,and biofuel crops.Ruijuan Yang Zhenying Wu Chen Bai Zhichao Sun Mengqi Wang Yuzhu Huo Hailing Zhang Yamei Wang Huapeng Zhou Shaojun Dai Wenwen Liu Chunxiang Fu 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1
8Intervention effect of Cigu Xiaozhi prescription(慈菇消脂方)on ceramide lipoapoptosis in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the mechanism of the Chinese medicine Cigu Xiaozhi prescription(慈菇消脂方,CGXZ)in the treatment of the non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)by detoxification and phlegm-reducing,the effect of CGXZ prescription on ceramide-mediated lipid apoptosis in Hep G2 cells with NAFLD.METHODS:The experiment was randomly divided into 6groups:normal control group,model group,CGXZ prescription medicated serum high,medium,and low dose groups,and pioglitazone positive control group.Using 500μmol/L free fatty acid(FFA)mixture to induce Hep G2 cells to establish NAFLD cell model,respectively,with 2%,4%,and 6%concentration of CGXZ prescription medicated serum intervention for 24 h.The changes in organelles and lipid droplet accumulation were observed under the electron microscope.Furthermore,Td T-mediated d UTP Nick-End Labeling method was used to assay hepatocyte apoptosis;Biochemical determination of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase,glutamic oxalacetic transaminase,triglycerides,and FFA levels in Hep G2cells;the content of ceramide was determined by highperformance thin-layer chromatography.Finally,Western Blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR)were used to determine the protein and gene expression levels,such as inducible nitric oxide synthase(i NOS),nuclear factorκB(NF-κB),B cell lymphoma 2(Bcl-2)and Bcl-2-associated X(Bax).RESULTS:Under the electron microscope,the cells in the model group showed moderate-to-severe steatosis,and apoptotic bodies could be seen.The model group had greater improvements in the apoptosis rate(P<0.01),and the levels of ceramide C2 and FFA in the cytoplasm(P<0.01)than the normal control group.The protein expressions of NF-κB,i NOS,and Bax were significantly up-regulated(P<0.05),while the Bcl-2 had no significant change(P>0.05).Compared with the model group,the levels of ceramide C2 and FFA(P<0.01),the protein expressions of NF-κB,i NOS,and Bax(P<0.05)in the CGXZ prescription treatment group and pioglitazone positive control group were significantly decreased;Only the Bcl-2 protein was significantly up-regulated in the high-dose Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).The downregulation of Bax m RNA expression in each Chinese medicine treatment group was significantly better than in the pioglitazone positive control group(P<0.01).CONCLUSIONS:The CGXZ prescription,formulated with the method of detoxification and phlegm,can inhibit lipoapoptosis in the NAFLD cell model by downregulating the levels of ceramide C2 and FFA,which may be achieved by regulating ceramide/i NOS/NF-κB signaling pathway.YANG Shaojun MA Yanhua BAI Zhouxia YU Ye FANG Buwu ZHANG Li WANG Li 2024Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2024,44,1:0
9High-Q collective Mie resonances in monocrystalline silicon nanoantenna arrays for the visible light显示文摘Dielectric optical antennas have emerged as a promising nanophotonic architecture for manipulating the propagation and localization of light.However,the optically induced Mie resonances in an isolated nanoantenna are normally with broad spectra and poor��-factors,limiting their performances in sensing,lasing,and nonlinear optics.Here,we dramatically enhance the��-factors of Mie resonances in silicon(Si)nanoparticles across the optical band by arranging the nanoparticles in a periodic lattice.We select monocrystalline Si with negligible material losses and develop a unique method to fabricate nanoparticle arrays on a quartz substrate.By extinction dispersion measurements and electromagnetic analysis,we can identify three types of collective Mie resonances with��-factors∼500 in the same nanocylinder arrays,including surface lattice resonances,bound states in the continuum,and quasi-guided modes.Our work paves the way for fundamental research in strong light-matter interactions and the design of highly efficient light-emitting metasurfaces.Zhenghe Zhang Pengbo Liu Wanli Lu Ping Bai Bingchang Zhang Zefeng Chen Stefan A.Maier Jaime Gómez Rivas Shaojun Wang Xiaofeng Li 2023Fundamental Research2023,3,5:0
10MoO_(x) nanoclusters on Mo-doped TiO_(2) nanosheets with enhanced singlet oxygen generation and sulfide conversion abilities for photocatalytic aerobic oxidative desulfurization显示文摘Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation desulfurization(PAODS)is a promising and sustainable alternative to conventional,energyintensive desulfurization techniques for petroleum products.However,its development is greatly plagued by the low capability in generating highly reactive oxygen species and sluggish kinetics of sulfide oxidation of reported photocatalysts.Here we report a class of MoO_(x)nanocluster decorated on ultrathin Mo-doped TiO_(2)nanosheet(MoO_(x)/MoTiO)catalyst for efficiently facilitating the photocatalytic aerobic oxidation of sulfides.We demonstrate that MoO_(x)/MoTiO can not only promote the generation of highly reactive singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))but also enhance the aerobic conversion of sulfides,which leads to a record dibenzothiophene oxidation activity of 3.90 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).The multiple experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations collectively reveal that the doped-Mo sites can interact with the photogenerated excitons,enabling directly energy transfer generation of^(1)O_(2)through a new exciton modulation mechanism,and the coordination unsaturated MoO_(x)clusters play the role of co-catalyst to enhance the separation of charge carriers,and effectively catalyze the reaction between sulfides and1O_(2)to form sulfones.Suting Xie Xinyu Zhao Dongxiao Wang Huawei Yang Lixia Yang Liangjiu Bai Donglei Wei Wenxiang Wang Ying Liang Hou Chen Shaojun Guo 2024Science China Chemistry2024,67,1:0

12Particulate Amines in the Background Atmosphere of the Yangtze River Delta,China:Concentration,Size Distribution,and Sources显示文摘Amines are important for new particle formation and subsequent growth in the atmosphere.Consequently,the processes involved are receiving more attention in recent years.Here,we conduct a field observation in order to investigate the atmospheric particulate amines at a background site in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)during the summer of 2018.Four amines in PM_(2.5),i.e.,methylamine(MA),dimethylamine(DMA),diethylamine(DEA),and trimethylamine(TMA),were collected,twice daily and analyzed.During the campaign,our measurements found the concentrations of MA,DMA,DEA,and TMA of 15.0±15.0,6.3±6.9,20.4±30.1,and 4.0±5.9 ng m^-(3),respectively,and the four amines correlated well with each other.The concentration of amines appear to be independent of whether they were collected during the day or night.Both MA and DMA exhibited a bimodal size distribution that had peaks at 0.67 and 1.1μm,suggesting amines preferably distribute on submicron particles.Boundary layer height(BLH),relative humidity,and pH of aerosols were found have a negative relationship with amines,while aerosol liquid water content(ALWC)was found to have a positive relationship with amines.The PMF(positive matrix factorization)source apportionment results showed that the main source of amines in Chongming Island was of anthropogenic origin such as industrial and biomass emission,followed by marine sources including sea salt and marine biogenic sources.Given that the YRD region is still suffering from complex atmospheric pollution and that the knowledge on aerosol amines is still limited,more field studies are in urgent need for a better understanding of the pollution characteristics of amines.Wei DU Xinpei WANG Fengqin YANG Kaixu BAI Can WU Shijie LIU Fanglin WANG Shaojun LV Yubao CHEN Jinze WANG Wenliang LIU Lujun WANG Xiaoyong CHEN Gehui WANG 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,7:0
13Adsorption of sodium oleate at the microfine hematite/aqueous solution interface and its consequences for flotation显示文摘The adsorption of sodium oleate(NaOL)at the microfine hematite/aqueous solution interface was investigated in this paper.Experimental research indicated that negative effects stemmed from the dissolution of the microfine hematite(D50=19.21μm)could be effectively eliminated via the appropriate dosage of NaOL at alkali pH conditions.Solution chemistry calculation and adsorption test results indicated that RCOOand(RCOO)_(2)^(2-) ions were responsible for microfine hematite flotation at pH 8.2.Zeta potential and FTIR measurements confirmed the co-adsorption of molecular and ionic oleate species occurred at pH 8.2.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results further indicated that oleate species interacted with hematite surfaces mainly through chemisorption,giving rise to molecule/colloid formation of oleate and Fe―OL complex compound.Time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS)results demonstrated that oleate species adsorbed onto the hematite surfaces with a thickness of a few nanometers.Furthermore,the normalized peak intensity of C4H7+ions on the hematite sample at pH 8.2 increased remarkably comparing with corresponding result of hematite sample at pH 6.8.The new findings of the present study well revealed the dissolution of microfine hematite and the pH effects on the hematite flotation,as well as the adsorption characteristics of oleate species.Shaojun Bai Jie Li Yunxiao Bi Jiaqiao Yuan Shuming Wen Zhan Ding 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,1:0
