5Water regime-nitrogen fertilizer incorporation interaction:Field study on methane and nitrous oxide emissions from a rice agroecosystem in Harbin, China显示文摘Water regime and nitrogen(N) fertilizer are two important factors impacting greenhouse gases(GHG) emission from paddy field, whereas their effects have not been well studied in cold region. In this study, we conducted a two-year field experiment to study the impacts of water regime and N fertilizer on rice yields and GHG emissions in Harbin, China, a cold region located in high latitudes. Our results showed that intermittent irrigation significantly decreased methane(CH_4) emission compared with continuous flooding, however,the decrement was far lower than the global average level. The N_2O emissions were very small when flooded but peaked at the beginning of the disappearance of floodwater. The N fertilizer treatments increased CH_4 emissions at low level(75 kg N/ha). But both CH_4 and N_2O emissions were uninfluenced at the levels of 150 kg N/ha and 225 kg N/ha. Rice yields increased under intermittent irrigation and were highest at the level of 150 kg N/ha. 7Vegetation dynamics induced by groundwater fluctuations in the lower Heihe River Basin,northwestern China显示文摘Aims Since 2000,the environmental flow controls project has been implemented in the lower Heihe River Basin,a typical arid inland river basin in northwest China,to restore the deteriorated ecological environment in this region.The aim of this study was to explore the impacts of groundwater fluctuations on vegetation dynamics.Our results can be used as a reference for water resources planning and management to maintain proper environmental flows in arid areas.Methods The location(by Global Positioning System)and depth of the monitoring wells,as well as groundwater table depth and salinity were measured in situ at each site from July to August 2009.Based on the measurements of the groundwater table depth and salinity following the implementation of environmental flow controls project(EFCP)in the lower Heihe River Basin,the groundwater fluctuations during the period from 2001 to 2009 were analyzed.Descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation were used to analyze the relationship between vegetation changes and groundwater table fluctuations.Additionally,the spatial distributions of the groundwater table depth and salinity were interpolated using the simple kriging method.Trend analysis was applied to the time series of integrated Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer normalized difference vegetation index data to identify interannual vegetation dynamics.The relationship between vegetation status and groundwater environment was investigated at different spatial scales by analyzing and comparing the time series and trends.Important Findings(i)The groundwater table and salinity increased significantly in most of the study area with spatial heterogeneity.On average,the groundwater table rose;0.5 and 1.5 m in the upper and lower Ejina Basin,respectively,and the groundwater salinity increased across the study area by 0–4%.(ii)A notable correlation between the vegetation status and the groundwater table was revealed when the groundwater table depth fluctuated between 1.8 and 3.5 m,whereas the vegetation did not show an obvious response to groundwater table changes when the groundwater table depth was more than 5–6 m.(iii)Vegetation restoration mainly occurred in riparian areas within 500–1000 m of from natural rivers,where the groundwater table depth varied from 2 to 4 m,and salinity was<5%,whereas vegetation degradation appeared at some locations where groundwater environment had deteriorated.Ping Wang Yichi Zhang Jingjie Yu Guobin Fu Fei Ao 2011Journal of Plant Ecology2011,4,1:10
8Cytocompatibility with osteogenic cells and enhanced in vivo anti-infection potential of quaternized chitosan-loaded titania nanotubes显示文摘Infection is one of the major causes of failure of orthopedic implants. Our previous study demonstrated that nanotube modification of the implant surface, together with nanotubes loaded with quaternized chitosan(hydroxypropyltrimethyl ammonium chloride chitosan, HACC), could effectively inhibit bacterial adherence and biofilm formation in vitro. Therefore, the aim of this study was to further investigate the in vitro cytocompatibility with osteogenic cells and the in vivo anti-infection activity of titanium implants with HACC-loaded nanotubes(NT-H). The titanium implant(Ti), nanotubes without polymer loading(NT), and nanotubes loaded with chitosan(NT-C) were fabricated and served as controls. Firstly, we evaluated the cytocompatibility of these specimens with human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells in vitro.The observation of cell attachment, proliferation, spreading, and viability in vitro showed that NT-H has improved osteogenic activity compared with Ti and NT-C. A prophylaxis rat model with implantation in the femoral medullary cavity and inoculation with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus was established and evaluated by radiographical, microbiological, and histopathological assessments. Our in vivo study demonstrated that NT-H coatings exhibited significant anti-infection capability compared with the Ti and NT-C groups. 10Effect of Interaction of Non-residual Fractions on Adsorption of Atrazine onto Surficial Sediments and Natural Surface Coating Samples显示文摘To quantify the effect of the interaction of non-residual fractions[Fe oxides(Fe), Mn oxide(Mn), organic materials(OMs)] in the surficial sediments and the natural surface coating samples on the adsorption of atrazine(AT), an AT multiple regression adsorption model(AT-MRAM) was developed. The AT-MRAM improves upon the previous AT additional adsorption model(AT-AAM) with superior goodness-of-fit test(adjusted R2=ca.1.000), F-test and t-test(P<0.01), and reveals the effect of the interaction among the components in the surficial sediments(SSs) and na- tural surface coatings samples(NSCSs) on the adsorption of AT, which was neglected by the AT-AAM. Meanwhile, the AT-MRAM was also verified through adsorption experiments of AT and the relative deviation between predicted maximum adsorption of AT and the experimental one is less than 15%. The resulted information shows that Mn is prone to interact with other non-residual components, the total maximum adsorption of AT is inversly proportional to the level of Mn, and Fe and OMs facilitate the adsorption of AT. The results also indicate that the adsorption of AT is not only dominated by Fe, OMs, Fe/OMs, but also restrained by Fe/Mn, Fe/Mn/OMs, with lesser roles attributed to Mn, and the estimated AT distributions among the components do not agree with that previously predicted by the AT-AAM, especially with the relative contribution of Mn to the adsorption of AT, revealing significant contribution of the interactions among non-residual components in controlling the behavior of AT in aquatic environments.LI Yu LI Shan-shan GAO Qian WANG Ao 2011Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2011,27,2:9

12Aging characteristic of Cu-0.6Cr-0.15Zr-0.05Mg-0.02Si alloy containing trace rare earth yttrium显示文摘The aging characteristic of Cu-0.6Cr-0.15Zr-0.05Mg-0.02Si alloy containing trace rare earth yttrium was investigated. The results showed that Cu-0.6Cr-0.15Zr-0.05Mg-0.02Si alloy obtained good comprehensive performance after 80% rolling and then aging at 480℃ for 1 h; the hardness and electrical conductivity reached HV 150 and 85.5% IACS, respectively. Increasing aging temperature accelerated aging precipitation. The time for attaining peak hardness was postponed, the precipitates were finer (2-4 nm), and the interparticle spacing was shorter due to yttrium addition. 13Measurement of Atrazine Adsorption onto Surficial Sediments(Natural Surface Coatings)——New Evidence for the Importance of Fe Oxides显示文摘To reveal the relative contribution of the components,Fe,Mn oxides or organic materials(OMs) in the surficial sediments(SSs),and the natural surface coating samples(NSCSs) to adsorbing atrazine(AT),a selective chemical extraction technique was employed,to remove the different components,and the adsorption characteristics of AT on the SSs and the NSCSs were investigated.The observed adsorptions of AT on the original and extracted SSs and NSCSs were analyzed by nonlinear least squares fitting(NLSF) to estimate the relative contribution of the com-ponents.The results showed that the maximum adsorption of AT on the NSCSs was greater than that in the SSs,be-fore and after extraction treatments,implying that the NSCSs were more dominant than the SSs for organic pollutant adsorption.It was also found that the Fe oxides,OMs,and residues in SSs(NSCSs) facilitated the adsorption of AT,but Mn oxides directly or indirectly restrained the interaction of AT with SSs(NSCSs) particles.The contribution of the Fe oxides to AT adsorption was more than that of OMs;the greatest contribution to AT adsorption on a molar ba-sis was from the Fe oxides in the nonresidual fractions,indicating that the Fe oxides played an important role in con-trolling the environmental behavior of AT in an aquatic environment.LI Yu WANG Ao GAO Qian WANG Xiao-li 2009Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2009,25,1:7

15News Keyword Extraction Algorithm Based on Semantic Clustering and Word Graph Model显示文摘The internet is an abundant source of news every day. Thus, efficient algorithms to extract keywords from the text are important to obtain information quickly. However, the precision and recall of mature keyword extraction algorithms need improvement. TextRank, which is derived from the PageRank algorithm, uses word graphs to spread the weight of words. The keyword weight propagation in Text Rank focuses only on word frequency. To improve the performance of the algorithm, we propose Semantic Clustering TextRank(SCTR), a semantic clustering news keyword extraction algorithm based on TextRank. Firstly, the word vectors generated by the Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers(BERT) model are used to perform k-means clustering to represent semantic clustering. Then, the clustering results are used to construct a TextRank weight transfer probability matrix. Finally,iterative calculation of word graphs and extraction of keywords are performed. The test target of this experiment is a Chinese news library. 17Synergetic and Antagonistic Effects of Cadmium on Adsorption of Atrazine on Surficial Sediments显示文摘Co-contamination of atrazine(AT) and cadmium(Cd) on the surficial sediments(SSs) and natural suface coating samples(NSCSs) was investigated via thermodynamic adsorption experiments. The results show that surface coatings have a stronger ability to adsorb AT owing to their higher active components compared with surficial sediments. Synergetic and antagonistic effects of Cd on the adsorption of AT were observed. Cd at a lower concentra- tion(≤4.0 mg/L) in the solid/liquid phase enhanced AT adsorption onto the surficial sediments(surface coatings), while the adsorption of AT would be inhibited at a Cd concentration of more than 8.0 mg/L: AT coordinates strongly to Cd, and AT-Cd complexes seem to be more strongly adsorbed on sediments than AT alone, and at the adsorption of AT can take place on the sites where Cd has been previously adsorbed and Cd acts as a bridge for the interaction between sediments and AT. With the increase of Cd concentration, the superfluous Cd may hold much more adsorption sites and thus inhibits the adsorption of AT. Meanwhile, the effects of co-existed AT on Cd adsorption on SSs(NSCSs) were insignificant since Cd has a stronger competitive ability to be absorbed on SSs(NSCSs). 20AI_4C_3 Hydration Thermochemical Analysis for Burned Carbon-containing Refractories with Al显示文摘In this paper, X-ray diffractogram analysis and SEM observation of Al4 C3 formed at high temperature from carbon-containing refractories with Al have been carried out.Aluminum added to carbon-containing refractories reacts with C(s)to form Al4 C3(s) gradually during heating from 600 ℃ to 1200℃.It is considered that the interlocked structure of Al4 C3 plate crystals promotes the outstanding increase of hot modulus of rupture of carbon-containing refractories with Al. The HMOR of carbon-containing refractories added with Al additive from 0 to 5wt% increases by 2.8 times being from 6.5MPa to 18.2MPa.After a thermochemical calculation for hydration reaction processes of Al4 C3 and H2O(g), the equilibrium partial pressure chart of H2O(g)in H2O-Al4C3-Al(OH)3 system vs various temperatures has been attained . The H2O (g) partial pressure in the air needed for the Al4 C3 hydration reaction is no more than 10~18 atm at the temperature below 120℃.It is considered that the burned carbon-containing refractories with Al is extremely easy to hydrate and the cracking of burned carbon-containing refractories is generated because that the hydration expansion is 2.11 times during transforming from Al4 C3 to Al(OH)3.The fundamental measure against hydration of the refractories is to insulate the refractories from H2O(g)by various means such as pitch impregnation or other sealing materials.YANG Ding’ao, YU Zhiming and FAN Liuwu( Sanmenxia Polytechnic College, Sanmenxia, Henan 472000, China ) 2003China's Refractories2003,12,1:5
