1Enhanced secondary pollution offset reduction of primary emissions during COVID-19 lockdown in China显示文摘To control the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus(COVID-19),China imposed nationwide restrictions on the movement of its population(lockdown)after the Chinese New Year of 2020,leading to large reductions in economic activities and associated emissions.Despite such large decreases in primary pollution,there were nonetheless several periods of heavy haze pollution in eastern China,raising questions about the well-established relationship between human activities and air quality.Here,using comprehensive measurements and modeling,we show that the haze during the COVID lockdown was driven by enhancements of secondary pollution.In particular,large decreases in NOx emissions from transportation increased ozone and nighttime NO_(3)radical formation,and these increases in atmospheric oxidizing capacity in turn facilitated the formation of secondary particulate matter.Our results,afforded by the tragic natural experiment of the COVID-19 pandemic,indicate that haze mitigation depends upon a coordinated and balanced strategy for controlling multiple pollutants.Xin Huang Aijun Ding Jian Gao Bo Zheng Derong Zhou Ximeng Qi Rong Tang Jiaping Wang Chuanhua Ren Wei Nie Xuguang Chi Zheng Xu Liangduo Chen Yuanyuan Li Fei Che Nini Pang Haikun Wang Dan Tong Wei Qin Wei Cheng Weijing Liu Qingyan Fu Baoxian Liu Fahe Chai Steven JDavis Qiang Zhang Kebin He 2021National Science Review2021,8,2:47
2Effect of Ce doping of TiO_2 support on NH_3-SCR activity over V_2O_5–WO_3/CeO_2–TiO_2 catalyst显示文摘CeO2–TiO2composite supports with different Ce/Ti molar ratios were prepared by a homogeneous precipitation method, and V2O5–WO3/CeO2–TiO2catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NOx with NH3 were prepared by an incipient-wetness impregnation method. These catalysts were characterized by means of BET, XRD, UV–Vis,Raman and XPS techniques. The results showed that the catalytic activity of V2O5–WO3/TiO2 was greatly enhanced by Ce doping(molar ratio of Ce/Ti = 1/10) in the TiO2 support.The catalysts that were predominantly anatase TiO2 showed better catalytic performance than the catalysts that were predominantly fluorite CeO2. The Ce additive could enhance the surface adsorbed oxygen and accelerate the SCR reaction. The effects of O2 concentration, ratio of NH3/NO, space velocity and SO2 on the catalytic activity were also investigated. The presence of oxygen played an important role in NO reduction. 3NH_3-SCR denitration catalyst performance over vanadium–titanium with the addition of Ce and Sb显示文摘Selective catalytic reduction technology using NH3 as a reducing agent(NH3-SCR) is an effective control method to remove nitrogen oxides. TiO2-supported vanadium oxide catalysts with different levels of Ce and Sb modification were prepared by an impregnation method and were characterized by X-ray diffractometer(XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET), Transmission electron microscopy(TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV–Vis DRS), Raman and Hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction(H2-TPR). The catalytic activities of V5 CexS by/TiO2 catalysts for denitration were investigated in a fixed bed flow microreactor. The results showed that cerium, vanadium and antimony oxide as the active components were well dispersed on TiO2, and the catalysts exhibited a large number of d–d electronic transitions, which were helpful to strengthen SCR reactivity. The V5 CexS by/TiO2 catalysts exhibited a good low temperature NH3-SCR catalytic activity. In the temperature range of 210 to 400℃, the V5 CexS by/TiO2 catalysts gave NO conversion rates above 90%. For the best V5Ce35Sb2/TiO2 catalyst, at a reaction temperature of 210℃, the NO conversion rate had already reached 90%. The catalysts had different catalytic activity with different Ce loadings. 4MiR-30a Positively Regulates the Inflammatory Response of Microglia in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis显示文摘Multiple sclerosis(MS) is a classical inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system(CNS). Microglia are the main resident immune cells in the CNS and are closely associated with the pathogenesis of MS.In the present study, we found that mi R-30 a was highly expressed in jellyfish-like microglia in chronic active lesions of MS patients, as well as in the microglia of mice with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE) at the chronic phase. In vitro, the conditioned supernatant of mouse microglia overexpressing miR-30 a promoted the apoptosis of oligodendrocyte precursor cells(OPCs), and inhibited OPC differentiation. In vivo, overexpressing miR-30 a in transplanted microglia exacerbated the progression of EAE.Overexpression and knock-down experiments in primary cultured mouse microglia showed that mi R-30 a increased the expression of IL-1 b and i NOS, which are pro-inflammatory, while inhibiting the expression of Ym-1 and CD206.Mechanistically, mi R-30 a inhibited the expression of Ppargc1 b, which is the co-activator of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma, resulting in pro-inflammatory effects. 5Myt1L Promotes Differentiation of Oligodendrocyte Precursor Cells and is Necessary for Remyelination After Lysolecithin-Induced Demyelination显示文摘The differentiation and maturation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells(OPCs) is essential for myelination and remyelination in the CNS. The failure of OPCs to achieve terminal differentiation in demyelinating lesions often results in unsuccessful remyelination in a variety of human demyelinating diseases. However, the molecular mechanisms controlling OPC differentiation under pathological conditions remain largely unknown. Myt1 L(myelin transcription factor 1-like), mainly expressed in neurons,has been associated with intellectual disability, schizophrenia, and depression. In the present study, we found that Myt1 L was expressed in oligodendrocyte lineage cells during myelination and remyelination. The expression level of Myt1 L in neuron/glia antigen 2-positive(NG^(2+))OPCs was significantly higher than that in mature CC1^+ oligodendrocytes. In primary cultured OPCs,overexpression of Myt1 L promoted, while knockdown inhibited OPC differentiation. Moreover, Myt1 L was potently involved in promoting remyelination after lysolecithin-induced demyelination in vivo. Ch IP assays showed that Myt1 L bound to the promoter of Olig1 and transcriptionally regulated Olig1 expression. 6Cyclin-dependent Kinase 18 Promotes Oligodendrocyte Precursor Cell Differentiation through Activating the Extracellular Signal-Regulated Kinase Signaling Pathway显示文摘The correct differentiation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells(OPCs) is essential for the myelination and remyelination processes in the central nervous system.Determining the regulatory mechanism is fundamental to the treatment of demyelinating diseases. By analyzing the RNA sequencing data of different neural cells, we found that cyclin-dependent kinase 18(CDK18) is exclusively expressed in oligodendrocytes. In vivo studies showed that the expression level of CDK18 gradually increased along with myelin formation during development and in the remyelination phase in a lysophosphatidylcholine-induced demyelination model, and was distinctively highly expressed in oligodendrocytes. In vitro overexpression and interference experiments revealed that CDK18 directly promotes the differentiation of OPCs, without affecting their proliferation or apoptosis. Mechanistically, CDK18 activated the RAS/mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase1/extracellular signal-regulated kinase pathway, thus promoting OPC differentiation. 8Leaf-inspired design of mesoporous Sb_(2)S_(3)/N-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite towards fast sodium storage显示文摘Owing to excellent conductivity and abundant surface terminals,MXene-based heterostructures have been intensively investigated as energy storage materials.However,elaborate design of the structure and composition of MXene-based hybrids towards superior electrochemical performance is still challenging.Herein,we present an ingenious leaf-inspired design for preparing a unique Sb_(2)S_(3)/nitrogen-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene(L-Sb_(2)S_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2))hybrid.In-situ TEM observations reveal that the leaflike Sb_(2)S_(3)nanoparticles with numerous mesopores can well relieve the large volume changes via an inward pore filling mechanism with only 20%outward expansion,whereas highly conductive N-doped Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)nanosheets can serve as the robust mechanical support to reinforce the structural integrity of the hybrid.Benefiting from the structural and constituent merits,the L-Sb_(2)S_(3)/Ti_(3)C_(2)anode fabricated exhibits a fast sodium storage behavior in terms of outstanding rate capability(339.5 mA h g^(-1)at 2,000 mA g^(-1))and high reversible capacity at high current density(358.2 mA h g^(-1)at 1,000 mA g^(-1)after 100 cycles).Electrochemical kinetic tests and theoretical simulation further manifest that the boosted electrochemical performance mainly arises from such a unique leaf-like Sb_(2)S_(3)mesoporous nanostructure with abundant active sites,and enhanced Na^(+)adsorption energy on the heterojunction formed between Sb_(2)S_(3)nanoparticles and Ti_(3)C_2)matrix.Fengyi He Cheng Tang Guanjia Zhu Yadong Liu Aijun Du Qiaobao Zhang Minghong Wu Haijiao Zhang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,6:3
9Investigation of frost heave prevention using permeable subgrade structure显示文摘This paper set up a series of comprehensive targets based on the concept of 'anti-freeze filler', which include reasonable water retention rate, frost heave characteristics, and compaction characteristics of filling material. Then, a type of permeable graded gravel is proposed, suitable for high-speed railway subgrade. A series of in-door water retention, permeability, and frost heave tests were performed under different graded conditions. Water retention, permeability, and frost heave characteristic of different graded filling materials can be determined, in order to define the gradation range of permeable graded gravel. Relying on the frost-heave monitoring record of high speed railway in Northeast China, a series of experimental studies were performed, which included on-site filler production, compaction test, and the anti-frost effect test, in order to improve the production and compaction techniques of permeable graded gravel. 13In-situ conversion growth of carbon-coated MoS_(2)/N-doped carbon nanotubes as anodes with superior capacity retention for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Layered structure MoS_(2) nanosheets have shown great potential for energy storage applications.However,the methodology for elaborately controllable growth of MoS_(2) onto carbonaceous matrix for promoting the electrochemical performance is highly desirable.Herein,a high-effective,all-in-one in-situ conversion growth strategy has been proposed to construct a stable sandwich-type nanostructure.The formation of the optimized C-MoS_(2)/NCNTs product undergoes a dissolution-recrystallization process,in which ultra-thin carbon layer-coated MoS_(2) nanosheets densely assembled onto the surface of polyimide(PI)derived N-doped carbon nanotubes(CNTs).Theoretical simulation reveals that MoS_(2) nanosheets possessing an expanded interlayer spacing of 0.92 nm can greatly reduce the barrier energy of Na ions mitigation.Ac-cordingly,the as-made C-MoS_(2)/NCNTs anode delivers superior cycling stability(82%capacity retention after 400 cycles at 1 A g^(−1))and rate performance(348 mAh g^(−1) at 2 A g^(−1)).The results demonstrate that the expanded MoS_(2) interlayer distance,ultrathin outer carbon coating,and N-doped CNTs matrix together accounts for the outstanding sodium storage capability for the C-MoS_(2)/NCNTs electrode.Yadong Liu Cheng Tang Weiwei Sun Guanjia Zhu Aijun Du Haijiao Zhang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,7:1

17Carbon-coated MoS_(2) nanosheets@CNTs-Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene quaternary composite with the superior rate performance for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘The exploration of advanced MoS_(2)-based electrode materials overcoming their inherent low conductivity and large volume changes is of importance for next-generation energy storage.In this work,we report a simple and high-efficient one-pot hydrothermal approach to prepare a unique and stable 1D/2D heterostructure.In the architecture,ultrathin carbon layer-coated MoS_(2) nanosheets with large expanded interlayer of 1.02 nm are vertically grown onto the Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene and cross-linked carbon nanotubes(CNTs),giving rise to a highly conductive 3D network.The interlayer expanded MoS_(2) nanosheets can greatly facilitate the Na ions/electrons transmission.Meanwhile,the N-doped 1D/2D CNTs-Ti_(3)C_(2) matrix can be used as a strong mechanical support to well relieve the large volume expansion upon cycles.As a combination result of several advantages,the developed quaternary C-MoS_(2)/CNTs-Ti_(3)C_(2) composite anode shows an excellent sodium storage performance(562 mA h g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) after 200 cycles)and rate capability(475 mA h g^(-1) at 2000 mA g^(-1)).The density functional theory calculations further prove that the full combination of layer-expanded MoS_(2) nanosheets and N-doped Ti_(3)C_(2) matrix can significantly enhance the adsorption energy of Na ions,further resulting in the enhancement of sodium storage capabilities.Fengyi He Cheng Tang Yadong Liu Haitao Li Aijun Du Haijiao Zhang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,5:1
18Cidan Capsule in Combination with Adjuvant Transarterial Chemoembolization Reduces Recurrence Rate after Curative Resection of Hepatocellular Carcinoma:A Multicenter,Randomized Controlled Trial显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Cidan Capsule combined with adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) in patients with a high risk of early recurrence after curative resection of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:A multicenter,randomized controlled trial was conducted in patients with high-risk recurrence factors after curative resection of HCC from 9 medical centers between July 2014 and July 2018.Totally249 patients were randomly assigned to TACE with or without Cidan Capsule administration groups by stratified block in a 1:1 ratio.Postoperative adjuvant TACE was given 4-5 weeks after hepatic resection in both groups.Additionally,125 patients in the TACE plus Cidan group were administrated Cidan Capsule(0.27 g/capsule,5 capsules every time,4 times a day) for 6 months with a 24-month follow-up.Primary endpoints included diseasefree survival(DFS) and tumor recurrence rate(TRR).Secondary endpoint was overall survival(OS).Any drugrelated adverse events(AEs) were observed and recorded.Results:As the data cutoff on July 9th,2018,the median DFS was not reached in the TACE plus Cidan group and 234.0 days in the TACE group(hazard ratio,0.420,95%confidence interval,0.290-0.608;P<0.01).The 1-and 2-year TRR in the TACE plus Cidan and TACE groups were 31.5%,37.1%,and 60.8%,63.4%,respectively(P<0.01).Median OS was not reached in both groups.The1-and 2-year OS rates in TACE plus Cidan and TACE groups were 98.4%,98.4%,and 89.5%,87.9%,respectively(P<0.05).The most common grade 3-4 AEs included fatigue,abdominal pain,lumbar pain,and nausea.One serious AE was reported in 1 patient in the TACE plus Cidan group,the death was due to retroperitoneal mass hemorrhage and hemorrhagic shock,and was not related to study drug.Conclusions:Cidan Capsule in combination with TACE can reduce the incidence of early recurrence in HCC patients at high-risk of recurrence after radical hepatectomy and may be an appropriate option in postoperative anti-recurrence treatment.(Registration No.NCT02253511)ZHENG Dong-hai YANG Jia-mei WU Jian-xiong CHENG Shu-qun ZHANG Shao-geng WU Dong LI Aijun FU Xiao-hui LI Xun QI Fu-chen DUAN Wei-hong CHEN Jun-hui YANG Zhi-ying LIANG Lu ZENG Jin-xiong ZHENG Wei-da WU Meng-chao 2023Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2023,29,1:0
19Sanguinarine suppresses cell proliferation, migration and invasion in nasopharyngeal carcinoma via inhibiting mTOR signaling显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To confirm the anti-NPC effect of sanguinarine(SA) through a series of wet experiments.METHODS: NPC cell viability was determined by proliferation experiment. Cell clone formation experiment, cell scratch test, transwell migration and invasion experiment and flow cytometry-based cell apoptosis assay were further performed. In addition, Western blotting was performed to investigate the cell signaling pathway. All the relevant experimental data were statistically processed using SPSS 16.0 software.RESULTS: The results showed that sanguinarine represented a time and dose dependent inhibition effects on NPC cell proliferation including the low differentiated CNE2 cells and high metastatic 5-8F cells, along with the cell cloning ability reduction. In addition, sanguinarine has a certain inhibitory effect on the invasion and migration of NPC cells. Mechanistically, sanguinarine displayed the anti-NPC effects mainly involved into the suppression of m TOR signaling and cell apoptosis, which is closely associated with the tumor growth and metastatic malignancy.
