| 2 | Experimental study on the meso-scale milling of tungsten carbide WC-17.5Co with PCD end mills显示文摘Tungsten carbide is a material that is very difficult to cut,mainly owing to its extreme wear resistance.Its high value of yield strength,accompanied by extreme brittleness,renders its machinability extremely poor,with most tools failing.Even when cutting with tool materials of the highest quality,its mode of cutting is mainly brittle and marred by material cracking.The ductile mode of cutting is possible only at micro leveIs of depth of cut and feed rate.This study aims to investigate the possibility of milling the carbide material at a meso-scale using polycrystaline diamond(PCD)end mills.A series of end milling experiments were performed to study the effects of cutting speed,feed per tooth,and axial depth of cut on performance measures such as cutting forces,surface roughness,and tool wear.To characterize the wear of PCD tools,a new approach to measuring the level of damage sustained by the faces of the cutter's teeth is presented.Analyses of the experimental data show that the effects of all the cutting parameters on the three performance measures are significant.The major damage mode of the PCD end mills is.found to be the intermittent micro-chipping.The progress of tool damage saw a long,stable,and steady period sandwiched between two short,abrupt,and intermittent periods.Cutting forces and surface roughness are found to rise with increments in the three cutting parameters,although the latter shows signs of reduction during the initial increase in cutting speed only.The results of this study find that an acceptable surface quality(average roughness Ra<0.2μm)and tool life(cutting length L>600mm)can be obtained under the conditions of the given cutting parameters.It indicates that milling with PCD tools at a meso-scale is a suitable machining method for tungsten carbides. | Wei Zhao Asif Iqbal Ding Fang Ning He Qi Yang | 2020 | Advances in Manufacturing2020,8,2: | 2 |
| 3 | Morphological and Genetical Variability among Rhizoctonia solani Isolates Causing Sheath Blight Disease of Rice显示文摘Eighteen isolates of Rhizoctonia solani collected from infected rice plants in four different locations of Bangladesh were studied by using morphological characters and molecular markers. Anastomosis study with a reference isolate confirmed that all the isolates belonged to R. solani. Significant variation was observed in sclerotial size, shape and distribution. Un-weighted pair group method with arithmetic mean dendrogram constructed based on the Gower's general similarity coefficient showed that these isolates were grouped into four clusters at the 0.68 similarity coefficent according to morphological characters. Cluster I was a major cluster consisting of 13 isolates, while clusters Ⅱ to Ⅳ consisted of 1 or 2 isolates. Analyses by variable number of tandem repeat and amplified fragment length polymorphism markers showed that the isolates were grouped into five and three clusters at a similarity coefficient of 0.64 and 0.69, respectively. Although most of the variability was found between isolates from different regions as expected, significant variation was observed within the isolates collected from similar agro-ecological regions. | 4 | 腐植酸产品特性及其对真菌和植物生长的影响显示文摘天然腐植酸主要来自风化煤和褐煤等,其产品主要有Pak腐植酸盐、腐植酸盐肥料、PakHumax、Hum-kara和Humide等,它们在使用之前必须了解其功效。本研究比较了4种腐植酸肥料的理化性质、光学特性以及对小麦(栽培品种Sehr)、绿豆(绿豆-54)、玉米(C-12)和田菁种子萌发和生长的影响,同时研究了它们对4种真菌的影响。4种腐植酸肥料的含水量为52%~71.11%,溶解度为30.2%~98.2%,密度为1.67~4.17g/mL,2%腐植酸肥料水溶液pH值为5.39~10.11,EC值为3.140~1.143mS/cm。4种腐植酸肥料的碳含量为22.95%~36.56%、氮含量为0.658%~1.183%,相应的C/N比为30.91~44.16。将4种腐植酸肥料用0.1mol/LNaOH溶液溶解,分离获得腐植酸和黄腐酸,按含碳量计算,含碳量40.3%~77.5%的为腐植酸,含碳量22.5%~59.7%的为黄腐酸。对腐植酸在400nm、500nm、600nm和700nm下的光学性质进行了研究,并对465nm和665nm条件下的吸光度进行测量,计算其比值E4/E6(即消光系数)。结果表明,E4/E6比值变化在3.64~5.48之间,且光密度随着波长的增加而降低,与腐殖质的碳含量具有显著相关性。供试的4株真菌中,根据菌落直径观察,Tricho-dermaharzianum,T.hamatum和Alternariaalternate3种真菌在0.025%腐植酸培养基上生长最好。4种腐植酸肥料对小麦、玉米、绿豆种子萌发都有抑制作用,但对田菁种子萌发具有促进作用;对小麦和玉米的根具有促进生长的作用,同时可以提高小麦和玉米芽的干物质含量,而对绿豆和田菁没有影响。研究发现,巴基斯坦市场上销售的腐植酸肥料差异很大,为保障使用者的利益,对这些肥料进行质量监测十分必要。 | Asma Lodhi Shermeen Tahir Zafar Iqbal Ansar Mahmood Muhammad Akhtar Tariq Mahmood Qureshi Muhammad Yaqub Asif Naeem 董心亮 管天玉 林启美 | 2014 | 腐植酸2014,,2: | 2 |

There is a need for special means to retain lubricant at the tool/sheet interface during forming. To fulfill the stated aim, a porous ceramic film was developed on pure Tisubstrate, and it was done through an electrochemical depsition process known as plasma electrolytic oxidation. The film with preferred pore size could be realized after several attempts by varying the processing parameters. In order to characterize the film, a variety of tests including microstructure, film-substrate bond strength and tribological properties tests were conducted. On-job performance of the film was also examined by forming Ticomponents employing a range of forming conditions. | 17 | Optimization of Abrasive Water Jet Cutting of Ductile Materials显示文摘Full factorial design of experiments was developed in order to investigate the effects of jet pressure, abrasive mixing rate, cutting feed, and plate thickness upon three response variables, surface finish of cutting wear zone, percentage proportion of striation free area, and maximum width of cut. The set of sixteen experiments was performed on each of the following two ductile materials: AISI 4340 (high strength low alloy steel, hardened to 49HRc) and Aluminum 2219. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was performed on experimental data in order to determine the significance of effects of different parameters on the performance measures. It was found that cutting feed and thickness were highly influential parameters, while abrasive mixing rate is influential upon surface roughness only. Strong interaction was found between jet pressure and workpiece material.
