| 1 | Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. | 3 | Empirical Comparisons of Deep Learning Networks on Liver Segmentation显示文摘Accurate segmentation of CT images of liver tumors is an important adjunct for the liver diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases.In recent years,due to the great improvement of hard device,many deep learning based methods have been proposed for automatic liver segmentation.Among them,there are the plain neural network headed by FCN and the residual neural network headed by Resnet,both of which have many variations.They have achieved certain achievements in medical image segmentation.In this paper,we firstly select five representative structures,i.e.,FCN,U-Net,Segnet,Resnet and Densenet,to investigate their performance on liver segmentation.Since original Resnet and Densenet could not perform image segmentation directly,we make some adjustments for them to perform live segmentation.Our experimental results show that Densenet performs the best on liver segmentation,followed by Resnet.Both perform much better than Segnet,U-Net,and FCN.Among Segnet,U-Net,and FCN,U-Net performs the best,followed by Segnet.FCN performs the worst. | Yi Shen Victor S.Sheng Lei Wang Jie Duan Xuefeng Xi Dengyong Zhang Ziming Cui | 2020 | Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,3: | 1 |

| 7 | Characteristics of Self-Healing Microcapsules for Cementitious Composites显示文摘Urea formaldehyde/epoxy resin microcapsules were prepared by an in situ polymerization method and the effect of emulsifier on the syntheses process of the microcapsules was discussed. The surface morphology of the microcapsules was observed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Chemical structure was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). Thermal stability was obtained using simultaneous thermal analysis(STA). The microcapsules were composed of urea-formaldehyde resin shell and epoxy resin core. Emulsifier played an important role in the polymerization process when the core material was packed by pre-polymer, so the effects of different emulsifiers(OP-10, SDS and SDBS) were discussed respectively. Results showed that the particle size of the microcapsules was uniform when SDBS as an emulsifier. Microcapsules showed good thermal stability below 240 ℃ and the initial decomposition temperature of the microcapsules was 265 ℃. The core materials released after microcapsules rupturing, which could be proven by the images of SEM. | 8 | Deep Domain Decomposition Methods:Helmholtz Equation显示文摘This paper proposes a deep-learning-based Robin-Robin domain decomposition method(DeepDDM)for Helmholtz equations.We first present the plane wave activation-based neural network(PWNN),which is more efficient for solving Helmholtz equations with constant coefficients and wavenumber k than finite difference methods(FDM).On this basis,we use PWNN to discretize the subproblems divided by domain decomposition methods(DDM),which is the main idea of DeepDDM.This paper will investigate the number of iterations of using DeepDDM for continuous and discontinuous Helmholtz equations.The results demonstrate that:DeepDDM exhibits behaviors consistent with conventional robust FDM-based domain decomposition method(FDM-DDM)under the same Robin parameters,i.e.,the number of iterations by DeepDDM is almost the same as that of FDM-DDM.By choosing suitable Robin parameters on different subdomains,the convergence rate is almost constant with the rise of wavenumber in both continuous and discontinuous cases.The performance of DeepDDM on Helmholtz equations may provide new insights for improving the PDE solver by deep learning. | Wuyang Li Ziming Wang Tao Cui Yingxiang Xu Xueshuang Xiang | 2023 | Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2023,15,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Mission reliability modeling and evaluation for reconfigurable unmanned weapon system-of-systems based on effective operation loop显示文摘The concept of unmanned weapon system-of-systems(UWSoS)involves a collection of various unmanned systems to achieve or accomplish a specific goal or mission.The mission reliability of UWSoS is represented by its ability to finish a required mission above the baselines of a given mission.However,issues with heterogeneity,cooperation between systems,and the emergence of UWSoS cannot be effectively solved by traditional system reliability methods.This study proposes an effective operation-loop-based mission reliability evaluation method for UWSoS by analyzing dynamic reconfiguration.First,we present a new connotation of an effective operation loop by considering the allocation of operational entities and physical resource constraints.Then,we propose an effective operationloop-based mission reliability model for a heterogeneous UWSoS according to the mission baseline.Moreover,a mission reliability evaluation algorithm is proposed under random external shocks and topology reconfiguration,revealing the evolution law of the effective operation loop and mission reliability.Finally,a typical 60-unmanned-aerial-vehicle-swarm is taken as an example to demonstrate the proposed models and methods.The mission reliability is achieved by considering external shocks,which can serve as a reference for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of UWSoS. | CHEN Zhiwei ZHOU Ziming ZHANG Luogeng CUI Chaowei ZHONG Jilong | 2023 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2023,34,3: | 0 |
