2Physico-Chemical Properties and Enzyme Activities of the Arable Soils in Lhasa,Tibet,China显示文摘An understanding of the physical,chemical,and biological properties of a soil provides a basis for soil use and management.This paper reports the major physico-chemical properties and enzyme activities of the soils of Lhasa's main arable lands and the factors that influence these soil properties.Composite and core samples were taken from the three main arable soil types(alluvial soil,subalpine arable steppe soil,and subalpine arable meadow soil) and were analysed using standard methods.The bulk density and the ventilation porosity ratio of the soils were close to the recommended values for arable lands,and the dominant soil texture was sandy.The soil moisture release rates were arable steppe soil > alluvial soil > arable meadow soil.Soil organic matter content,Cation-Exchange Capacity(CEC),total and available nitrogen content,and catalase activity of the arable meadow soil were higher than those of the alluvial and the arable steppe soils,while soil pH in the arable meadow was lower.Most of the measured properties did not show a significant variance among these three soils.However,the measured indices(apart from the total potassium) indicate that there are notable differences among the three types of soil.The results implied that the utilisation patterns of the arable soil or human activities,such as tillage practices and fertiliser applications,have a substantialeffect on the soil properties in this region.Our results suggest that the cultivation practices in the region have apparently positive impact on the soil organic matter,nutrient contents and bulk density probably due to the sound fertiliser management such as the applications of farmyard manure and chemical fertilisers.However,intense cultivation practices lowered the activity of most soil enzymes.The results demonstrate that the choice of soil management strategy had a significant impact on the soil physicochemical and biological properties in the region studied.WEI Yai ZHOU Zhonghao LIU Gangcai 2012Journal of Mountain Science2012,9,4:2
3LncRNA-m18as1 competitively binds with miR-18a-5p to regulate follicle-stimulating hormone secretion through the Smad2/3 pathway in rat primary pituitary cells显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)are expressed in different species and different tissues,and perform different functions,but little is known about their involvement in the synthesis or secretion of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH).In general,we have revealed lnc RNA-micro RNA(mi RNA)-messenger RNA(m RNA)interactions that may play important roles in rat primary pituitary cells.In this study,a new lncRNA was identified for the first time.First,we analyzed the gene expression of lncRNA-m18as1 in different tissues and different stages by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)and observed the localization of lncRNA-m18as1 with fluorescence in situ hybridization,which indicated that this lncRNA was distributed mainly in the cytoplasm.Next,we used RT-qPCR and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)to analyze the regulation of FSH synthesis and secretion after overexpression or knockdown of lncRNA-m18as1 and found that lncRNA-m18as1 was positively correlated with FSH synthesis and secretion.In addition,mothers against decapentaplegic homolog 2(Smad2)was highly expressed in our sequencing results.We also screened miR-18a-5p from our sequencing results as a miRNA that may bind to lncRNA-m18as1 and Smad2.We used RNA immunoprecipitation-qPCR(RIP-qPCR)and/or dual luciferase assays to confirm that lncRNA-m18as1 interacted with miR-18a-5p and miR-18a-5p interacted with Smad2.Fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)showed that lncRNA-m18as1 and miR-18a-5p were localized mainly in the cytoplasm.Finally,we determined the relationship among lncRNA-m18as1,miR-18a-5p,and the Smad2/3 pathway.Overall,we found that lncRNA-m18as1 acts as a molecular sponge of miR-18a-5p to regulate the synthesis and secretion of FSH through the Smad2/3 pathway.Weidi ZHANG Wenzhi REN Dongxu HAN Guokun ZHAO Haoqi WANG Haixiang GUO Yi ZHENG Zhonghao JI Wei GAO Bao YUAN 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,6:0
4Modeling and Simulation of Hydrogen Energy Storage System for Power-to-gas and Gas-to-power Systems显示文摘By collecting and organizing historical data and typical model characteristics,hydrogen energy storage system(HESS)-based power-to-gas(P2G)and gas-to-power systems are developed using Simulink.The energy transfer mechanisms and numerical modeling methods of the proposed systems are studied in detail.The proposed integrated HESS model covers the following system components:alkaline electrolyzer(AE),highpressure hydrogen storage tank with compressor(CM&H_(2) tank),and proton-exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)stack.The unit models in the HESS are established based on typical U-I curves and equivalent circuit models,which are used to analyze the operating characteristics and charging/discharging behaviors of a typical AE,an ideal CM&H_(2) tank,and a PEMFC stack.The validities of these models are simulated and verified in the MicroGrid system,which is equipped with a wind power generation system,a photovoltaic power generation system,and an auxiliary battery energy storage system(BESS)unit.Simulation results in MATLAB/Simulink show that electrolyzer stack,fuel cell stack and system integration model can operate in different cases.By testing the simulation results of the HESS under different working conditions,the hydrogen production flow,stack voltage,state of charge(SOC)of the BESS,state of hydrogen pressure(SOHP)of the HESS,and HESS energy flow paths are analyzed.The simulation results are consistent with expectations,showing that the integrated HESS model can effectively absorb wind and photovoltaic power.As the wind and photovoltaic power generations increase,the HESS current increases,thereby increasing the amount of hydrogen production to absorb the surplus power.The results show that the HESS responds faster than the traditional BESS in the microgrid,providing a solid theoretical foundation for later wind-photovoltaic-HESS-BESS integration.Jianlin Li Guanghui Li Suliang Ma Zhonghao Liang Yaxin Li Wei Zeng 2023Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2023,11,3:0
5Explainable data transformation recommendation for automatic visualization显示文摘Automatic visualization generates meaningful visualizations to support data analysis and pattern finding for novice or casual users who are not familiar with visualization design.Current automatic visualization approaches adopt mainly aggregation and filtering to extract patterns from the original data.However,these limited data transformations fail to capture complex patterns such as clusters and correlations.Although recent advances in feature engineering provide the potential for more kinds of automatic data transformations,the auto-generated transformations lack explainability concerning how patterns are connected with the original features.To tackle these challenges,we propose a novel explainable recommendation approach for extended kinds of data transformations in automatic visualization.We summarize the space of feasible data transformations and measures on explainability of transformation operations with a literature review and a pilot study,respectively.A recommendation algorithm is designed to compute optimal transformations,which can reveal specified types of patterns and maintain explainability.We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach through two cases and a user study.Ziliang WU Wei CHEN Yuxin MA Tong XU Fan YAN Lei LV Zhonghao QIAN Jiazhi XIA 2023Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,7:0

9Circuit Model with Current Interruption for Hybrid High Voltage DC Circuit Breakers to Achieve Precise Current Experiments显示文摘The current interruption test based on an LC resonance circuit for hybrid DC circuit breakers(HVDC CBs)is widely employed to characterize the current interruption capability of CBs.In order to ensure a high-fidelity replica of the fault current in a high voltage application,this paper first proposes an equivalent model of the test circuit,where not only parasitic resistances but also the threshold voltages and on-state resistances of various semiconductor devices are considered.Moreover,the analytical formula of the test current is derived by including the working principle of the HVDC CB.Secondly,the parameter extraction method,which combines finite element analysis and measurements by an impedance analyzer,is given in this paper.The extracted result implies that,in current interruption transients,equivalent resistances of 500 kV CB are as large as 535 mS,which have a significant influence on current waveforms.Thirdly,the 34 kV/25 kA current interruption test for the 500 kV CB is conducted.The measured results are proved to be consistent with the analytical results obtained from the proposed model,and the relative error is less than 2%.Zhonghao Dongye Lei Qi Bing Ji Xiaoguang Wei Xiang Cui 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,4:0
10Modeling of High-frequency Electromagnetic Oscillation for DC Fault in MMC-HVDC Systems显示文摘DC short-circuit faults pose a hazard to the operation of a modular multilevel converter(MMC)-based high voltage direct current(HVDC)system,necessitating reliable fault clearing solutions with rapid reaction.However,because the parasitic capacitances of the main equipment oscillate with the lumped inductances of the HVDC system,strong electromagnetic oscillations with multiple frequencies occur during clearance transients.These oscillations will disturb the HVDC system’s protection and control systems.Therefore,this paper focuses on the modeling of these oscillations.First,an equivalent circuit for the MMC-based HVDC system is proposed,taking into account the parasitic capacitances of the system’s major components,such as DC reactors,connecting cables,and DC circuit breakers(DCCBs).Second,four distinct oscillation stages are postulated based on action coordination of MMCs and DCCBs,and the associated analytical equations for the oscillation frequencies are derived.Third,a 200 kV MMC-based DC converter station is subjected to an 6ms/6kA pole-to-pole(PTP)short-circuit test.Electromagnetic oscillations have a frequency range of several kHz to several hundreds of kHz.The measured waveforms correspond well with simulated results,including the parasitic characteristics.Additionally,the relative errors between the simulated and measured frequencies are less than 5%.Hong Shen Zhonghao Dongye Lei Qi Muxue Wang Xiangyu Zhang Peng Qiu Xiaoguang Wei 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,3:0
