1Fabrication of 150-nm Al_(0.48)In_(0.52)As/Ga_(0.47)In_(0.53)As mHEMTs on GaAs substrates显示文摘High performance 150-nm gate-length metamorphic Al0.48In0.52As/Ga0.47In0.53 As high electron mobility transistors(mHEMTs) with very good device performance have been successfully fabricated.A T-shaped gate is fabricated by using a combined technique of optical and e-beam photolithography,which is beneficial to decreasing parasitic capacitance and parasitic resistance of the gate.The ohmic contact resistance R c is as low as 0.03 mm when using a novel ohmic contact metal system(Ni/Ge/Ti/Au).The devices exhibit excellent DC and RF performance.A peak extrinsic transconductance of 775 mS/mm and a maximum drain current density of 720 mA/mm are achieved.The unity current gain cut-off frequency(fT) and the maximum oscillation frequency(f max) are 188.4 and 250 GHz,respectively.WU XiaoFeng LIU HongXia LI HaiOu LI Qi HU ShiGang XI ZaiFang ZHAO Jin 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,12:2

19Refractoriness of interferon-beta signaling through NOD1 pathway in mouse respiratory epithelial cells using the anticancer xanthone compound显示文摘AIM:To explore the possibility that nucleotide oligomerization domain 1(NOD1) pathway involved in refractoriness of interferon-β signaling in mouse respiratory epithelial cells induced by the anticancer xanthone compound,5,6-dimethylxanthenone-4-acetic acid(DMXAA).METHODS:C10 mouse bronchial epithelial cells were grown in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum,2 mmol/L glutamine,100 units/mL penicillin,100 g/mL streptomycin.Pathogen-free female BALB/c mice were used to explore the mechanisms of refractoriness of interferon-signaling.Mouse thioglycollate-elicited peritoneal macrophages,bone marrow derived macrophages and bone marrow derived dendritic cells were collected and cultured.The amount of interferon(IFN)-inducible protein-10(IP10/CXCL10),macrophage chemotactic protein(MCP1/CCL2) and interleukin(IL)-6 secreted by cells activated by DMXAA was quantified using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kits according to the instructions of the manufacturers.Total RNA was isolated from cells or nasal epithelium with RNeasy Plus Mini Kit,and cDNA was synthesized.Gene expression was checked using Applied Biosystems StepOne Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction System.Transfection of small interfering RNA(siRNA) control,NOD1 duplexed RNA oligonucleotides,and high-mobility group box 1/2/3(HMGB1/2/3) siRNA was performed using siRNA transfection reagent.RESULTS:DMXAA activates IFN-β pathway with high level of IFN-β dependent antiviral genes including 2',5'-oligoadenylate synthetase 1 and myxovirus resistance 1 in mouse thioglycollate-elicited peritoneal macrophages,bone marrow derived macrophages and bone marrow derived dendritic cells.Activation of IFN-β by DMXAA involved in NOD1,but not HMGB1/2/3 signal pathway demonstrated by siRNA.NOD1 pathway plays an important role in refractoriness of IFN-β signaling induced by DMXAA in mouse C10 respiratory epithelial cells and BALB/c mice nasal epithelia.These data indicate that DMXAA is not well adapted to the intrinsic properties of IFN-β signaling.Approaches to restore sensitivity of IFN-β signaling by find other xanthone compounds may function similarly,could enhance the efficacy of protection from influenza pneumonia and potentially in other respiratory viral infections.CONCLUSION:NOD1 pathway may play an important role in refractoriness of IFN-β signaling in mouse respiratory epithelial cells induced by DMXAA.Zaifang Yu Jarrod D Predina Guanjun Cheng 2013World Journal of Biological Chemistry2013,4,2:0
20Cobalt doping boosted electrocatalytic activity of CaMn3O6 for hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘The development of earth-abundant-metal-based electrocatalysts with high efficiency and long-term stability for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is crucial for the clean and renewable energy application.Herein,we report a molten-salt method to synthesize Co-doped CaMn_(3)O_(6)(CMO)nanowires(NWs)as effective electrocatalyst for HER.The as-obtained CaMn_(3-x)Co_(x)O_(6)(CMCO)exhibits a small onset overpotential of 70 mV,a required overpotential of 140 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2),a Tafel slope of 39 mV·dec^(-1)in 0.1 M HClO_(4),and a satisfying long-term stability.Experimental characterizations combined with density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the obtained HER performance can be attributed to the Co-doping which altered CMO’s surface electronic structures and properties.Considering the simplicity of synthesis route and the abundance of the pertinent elements,the synthesized CMCO shows a promising prospect as a candidate for the development of earth-abundant,metal-based,and cost-effective electrocatalyst with superior HER activity.Our results also establish a strategy of rational design and construction of novel electrocatalyst toward HER by tailoring band structures of transition metal oxides(TMOs).Qun Li Kaisi Liu Siwei Gui Jiabin Wu Xiaogang Li Zaifang Li Hongrun Jin Hui Yang Zhimi Hu Wenxi Liang Liang Huang 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:0
