| 1 | Grain-size evidence for multiple origins of the reticulate red clay in southern China显示文摘Grain-size distributions of the reticulate red clay in Xuancheng, Anhui Province, and Jiujiang, Taihe and Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, are analyzed. The results are as follows: (1) Generally fine and uniform, grain-size charac- teristics of the reticulate red clay in Xuancheng and Jiujiang are much similar, with no >2 mm gravels, 0.30% and 1.14% of >63 μm fraction on average, respectively, and 34.65% and 37.20% of 10―50 μm fraction, which is apparently accumu- lated. The patterns of the grain-size distribution curves of the uppermost yellow-brown earth of the profiles in the two ar- eas much resemble those of the loess in northern China and the Xiashu loess in southeastern China, while the patterns of the other layers also apparently show some attributes inher- ited from the above. The grain-size distribution patterns of the quartz separated from the whole profiles in the areas are almost identical, which could also be compared with those of the loess and the Xiashu loess. All the features above reveal aeolian characteristics of the reticulated red clay in these two areas. (2) The reticulate red clay in Taihe and Ganzhou is much coarser than that in Xuancheng and Jiujiang, with high content of >63 μm fraction and relatively low content of 10―50 μm fraction. The variations in grain-size distribu- tions of the profiles are also observed. The grain-size distri- bution patterns of both the original samples and the quartz of the red clay could hardly be compared with those of the loess and the Xiashu loess. All the features above reveal their alluvial or diluvial origins. (3) The multiple origins of the reticulate red clay in the areas reflect the diversity and com- plexity of the Quaternary environment in southern China. The existence of the reticulate red clay with aeolian charac- teristics brings forth objective evidence for the occurrence of large-scale dust deposition in southern China during the Quaternary glacial periods. | 4 | Effects of Imports and Exports on China's PM2.5 Pollution显示文摘This paper examines the effects o f imports and exports on Chinas PM2.5 pollution using data from 31 provinces during the period 2001-2016.At the aggregate level,our analysis shows that exports have a pollution-generating effect while imports have a pollution-shifting effect on provincial PM2.5 pollution.Cross-sectional analysis reveals that imports and exports exhibit opposite effects on manufacturing and high-tech industries,but demonstrate the same pollution-generating effect for the heavy industry sector.At the regional level,the effects are similar to those at the aggregate level.We also examine the impacts o f other factors on PM2.5 pollution.Our empirical evidence shows that PM2.5 pollution is positively correlated with domestic sales,population density,economic growth,urbanization rate,and transportation,but negatively correlated with energy efficiency and industry structure.This paper suggests that reducing exports and increasing imports will help to reduce PM2.5 pollution. | Zhaohua Li Ziwei Fang Zhuyu Tang | 2020 | China & World Economy2020,28,6: | 1 |

| 18 | Effects of Chinese Herbal Medicine Feed Additives on Growth Performance and Dietary Nutrient Metabolism of Black-bone Chickens显示文摘[Objectives]To study the effects of Chinese herbal medicine feed additives on the growth performance and dietary nutrient metabolic rate of black-one chickens.[Methods]480 pieces of 1-day-old Donglan Black-bone Chickens were selected and divided into 4 groups,with 6 replicates in each group,with 20 pieces in each replicate.Among them,group A was the control group and was fed the basal diet;the groups B,C,and D were the experimental groups,which were separately supplemented with 0.25%,0.50%and 1.00%of Chinese herbal medicine additives in the basal diet,and the experimental period was 70 d.At the end of the feeding experiment,24 experimental chickens with similar body weight were selected from each group,and the same design of the feeding experiment was used to continue to feed the original diet for the metabolic experiment to determine the nutrient metabolic rate.[Results]Except the 50-70 d stage,the average daily gain(ADG)of group B in other stages was increased by 5.00%-9.15%(P<0.05),and the average body weight of group B at 70 d was also increased by 4.86%(P<0.05);the ADG of group C at 36-49,1-49 and 1-70 d and the average individual weight at 70 d were also higher than that of group A by 5.90%,2.66%,2.68%and 2.57%,respectively(P>0.05);at 36-49 d,the average daily feed intake(ADFI)of group A was higher than that of group B by 6.04%(P<0.01),and was also higher than that of groups C and D by 5.12%and 4.13%(P<0.05),respectively;at 1-49 d,the ADFI of group A was higher than that of group C by 2.86%(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the four groups of experimental chickens at each stage(P>0.05);at 22-35 and 1-70 d,the feed to gain ratio(F/G)of group B was 6.32%and 3.41%lower than that of group A(P<0.05),and at 36-49 and 1-49 d,the F/G of group B was even lower;at 36-49 d,the F/G of group C was 10.15%lower than that of group A(P<0.05),and at 1-49 d,it was also lower than that of group A by 5.29%(P<0.01);there was no significant difference between the two groups at other stages.In terms of nutrient metabolism:the three different amounts of this additive have increased the metabolic rate of DM,CP,CF,NFE,CA,Ca,P,TE and other nutrients in the diet to varying degrees,especially the addition of 0.25%and 0.50%had the significant increase.[Conclusions]The addition of 0.25%Chinese herbal medicine additives in the diet can significantly improve the growth performance and main nutrient metabolic rate of Donglan Black-bone Chickens. | Cui YANG Fulin WANG Siqian WU Zhuyue WU Limei QIN Huofu WAN Zhengzhong XIAO Chunhua HUANG Jiahuang YANG Fengying WEI | 2022 | Asian Agricultural Research2022,14,11: | 0 |

The crystal structure comprises discrete neutral Cu(4,4′-bipy)2(H2PO4)2(H2O)2 units. The copper atom,located on the crystallographic twofold axis,is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms of terminal 4,4′-bipy ligands and two water molecules at the equatorial positions,and two dihydrogen phosphate oxygen atoms at the axial positions,forming an elongated octahedron. The complex is a two-dimensional distorted rhomboidal network possessing two kinds of rhomboids with dimensions of ca . 1.6792 nm×0.3203 nm and 1.2778 nm×0.3198 nm,respectively. The two-dimensional networks are stacked parallelly on each other along c -axis to give an extended three-dimensional channel network with an interlayer distance of ca . 0.5030 nm. | 20 | Effect of Dietary Supplementation of Fu-libao and Glutamic Acid on Finishing and Slaughter Performance and Meat Quality of Pigs显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation of Fu-libao and L-glutamic acid on finishing and slaughter performances and meat quality trait of'L(Large Yorkshire)×L(Landrace)'crossbred pigs.[Method]Twelve individuals of L×L crossbred pigs with similar body weight of about 51 kg were selected.The pigs were randomly divided into two groups,three replicates each group,two piglets each replicate.The pigs in control group were fed with conventional diet(control diet),and pigs in treatment group were fed with the control diet added with 0.1%Fu-libao(mainly contained soybean phospholipid)and 0.6%L-glutamic acid.All the pigs were under the same feeding conditions except for different diets during the trial.At the end of the trial,one pig with similar body weight was selected from each replicate for slaughter and determination of meat quality.[Result]Dietary supplementation of Fu-libao and L-glutamic acid had no significant impact on finishing performance of pigs between the two groups(P>0.05),but the back fat thickness of pigs in treatment group was increased(P<0.05).On the contrary,the longissimus muscle(LM)area,meat color and water-holding capacity(WHC)were reduced significantly compared with the control group(P<0.05).However,the contents of glutamic acid,glysine,alanine,threonine,proline,valine and arginine in LM were increased significantly compared with the control group(P<0.05);moreover,the total amino acid and total flavor amino acid contents in LM were increased by 5.85%(P<0.05)and 6.87%(P<0.05)respectively.In addition,the content of intramuscular fat(IMF)in LM was improved from 5.11±0.24(control group)to 8.86±0.52(treatment group)(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Although dietary supplementation of Fu-libao and L-glutamic acid did not increase the finishing and slaughter performances of L×L crossbred pigs,it significantly enhanced the contents of total amino acid,total flavor amino acid and IMF,and significantly improved meat quality. | Yang Cui Luo Sicong Yang Jiahuang Qiu Jinhua Wu Zhuyue | 2020 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2020,12,1: | 0 |
