| 1 | Development of Land Surface Model BCC_AVIM2.0 and Its Preliminary Performance in LS3MIP/CMIP6显示文摘The improvements and validation of several parameterization schemes in the second version of the Beijing Climate Center Atmosphere–Vegetation Interaction Model(BCC_AVIM2.0) are introduced in this study. The main updates include a replacement of the water-only lake module by the common land model lake module(Co LM-lake) with a more realistic snow–ice–water–soil framework, a parameterization scheme for rice paddies added in the vegetation module, renewed parameterizations of snow cover fraction and snow surface albedo to accommodate the varied snow aging effect during different stages of a snow season, a revised parameterization to calculate the threshold temperature to initiate freeze(thaw) of soil water(ice) rather than being fixed at 0°C in BCC_AVIM1.0, a prognostic phenology scheme for vegetation growth instead of empirically prescribed dates for leaf onset/fall, and a renewed scheme to depict solar radiation transfer through the vegetation canopy. The above updates have been implemented in BCC_AVIM2.0 to serve as the land component of the BCC Climate System Model(BCC_CSM). Preliminary results of BCC_AVIM in the ongoing Land Surface, Snow, and Soil Moisture Model Intercomparison Project(LS3 MIP) of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6) show that the overall performance of BCC_AVIM2.0 is better than that of BCC_AVIM1.0 in the simulation of surface energy budgets at the seasonal timescale. Comparing the simulations of annual global land average before and after the updates in BCC_AVIM2.0 reveals that the bias of net surface radiation is reduced from-12.0 to-11.7 W m-2 and the root mean square error(RMSE) is reduced from 20.6 to 19.0 W m-2;the bias and RMSE of latent heat flux are reduced from 2.3 to-0.1 W m-2 and from 15.4 to14.3 W m-2, respectively;the bias of sensible heat flux is increased from 2.5 to 5.1 W m-2 but the RMSE is reduced from 18.4 to 17.0 W m-2. | Weiping LI Yanwu ZHANG Xueli SHI Wenyan ZHOU Anning HUANG Mingquan MU Bo QIU Jinjun JI | 2019 | Journal of Meteorological Research2019,33,5: | 14 |

| 3 | Water dissipation mechanism of residential and office buildings in urban areas显示文摘Indoor humidity directly impacts the health of indoor populations. In arid and semi-arid cities, the buildings indoor humidity is typically higher than outdoors, and the presence of water vapor results from water dissipation inside the buildings. Few studies have explored indoor humidity features and vapor distribution or evaluated water dissipation inside buildings. This study examined temperature and relative humidity(RH) changes in typical residential and office buildings. The results indicate a relatively stable temperature with vary range of ±1°C and a fluctuation RH trend which is similarly to that of water use. We proposed the concept of building water dissipation to describe the transformation of liquid water into gaseous water during water consumption and to develop a building water dissipation model that involves two main parameters: indoor population and total floor area. The simulated values were verified by measuring water consumption and water drainage, and the resulting simulation errors were lower for residential than for office buildings. The results indicate that bathroom vapor accounts for 70% of water dissipation in residential buildings. | 4 | Induced electric fields and plasmonic interactions between a metallic nanotube and a thin metallic film显示文摘We have numerically simulated the induced electric fields and the plasmonic interactions of a metallic nanotube near a thin metallic film. Our study shows that the energies and intensities of the plasmon resonances depend strongly on the aspect ratio (the ratio of the inner to outer radius) of the nanotube as well as the separation between the center of the nanotube and the upper surface of the metallic film and the thickness of the film. The enhancement of the induced electric field of this system reaches as high as 10 4 orders of magnitude and its field distribution is characterized by waveguide-mode resonance. | 5 | Mesoporous iron oxide-silica supported gold catalysts for low-temperature CO oxidation显示文摘Mesoporous iron oxide-silica composite with a high silica content was synthesized by hydrothermal method,and another composite material with a high iron content was obtained by etching part of silica in alkaline solution.Gold catalysts were loaded onto both composites by a deposition-precipitation method,and used for CO oxidation.The samples were characterized by BrumauerEmmet-Teller(BET),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectra(XPS),transmission electron microscope(TEM)and scanning electron microscope(SEM)techniques.Both composites had high specific surface areas and were amorphous.The Au nanoparticles dispersed on the surface of the composites existed in metallic state.Composite with high silica content was not suitable for Au loading,and its supported gold catalyst showed poor performance in catalytic reaction.In contrast,composite with high iron content allowed efficient Au loading,and CO could be oxidized completely at low temperature on its supported gold catalyst.The effects of deposition-precipitation pH values on Au loading and activity of the catalyst were investigated,and the results indicated that Au loading was the highest and the catalyst was the most active for CO oxidation when the synthesis pH was adjusted to 8. | Weidong Zhang Xiaofei Lu Weili Zhou Feng Wu Jinjun Li | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,31: | 3 |

| 7 | OsSRK1,an Atypical S-Receptor-Like Kinase Positively Regulates Leaf Width and Salt Tolerance in Rice显示文摘Receptor-like kinases(RLKs)are important for plant growth,development and defense responses.The S-receptor protein kinases(SRKs),which represent an RLK subfamily,control the selfincompatibility among Brassica species.However,little information is available regarding SRK functions in rice.We identified a gene OsSRK1 encoding an atypical SRK.The transcript of OsSRK1 was induced by abscisic acid(ABA),salt and polyethylene glycol.OsSRK1 localized to the plasma membrane and cytoplasm.Leaf width was increased in OsSRK1-overexpression(OsSRK1-OX)transgenic rice plants,likely because of an increase in cell number per leaf.Furthermore,the expression levels of OsCYCA3-1 and OsCYCD2-1,which encode positive regulators of cell division,were up-regulated in leaf primordium of OsSRK1-OX rice plants relative to those in wild type.Meanwhile,the expression level of OsKRP1,which encodes cell cycle inhibitor,was down-regulated in the OsSRK1-OX plants.Therefore,it is deduced that OsSRK1 regulates leaf width by promoting cell division in the leaf primordium.Additionally,OsSRK1-OX plants exhibited enhanced ABA sensitivity and salt tolerance compared with wild type.These results suggest that OsSRK1 plays important roles in leaf development and salt responses in rice. | ZHOU Jinjun JU Peina ZHANG Fang ZHENG Chongke BAI Bo LI Yaping WANG Haifeng CHEN Fan XIE Xianzhi | 2020 | Rice science2020,27,2: | 2 |
| 8 | Electromagnetic scattering characteristics of coaxial helicopter based on dynamic transformation method显示文摘With the development of coaxial rotors and high-speed helicopters, the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of coaxial helicopters have gradually become a research hotspot. In order to deal with the Radar Cross-Section(RCS) of high-speed rotating rotors or coaxial main rotors, a Dynamic Scattering Method(DSM) based on dynamic process simulation and grid coordinate transformation is presented. Instantaneous electromagnetic scattering from rotors and helicopters is solved using Physical Optics(PO) and Physical Theory of Diffraction(PTD). Important factors are analyzed and discussed in detail, including individual rotor rotation, azimuth, elevation angle,fuselage, pitch angle, and roll angle. The results show that the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of rotor-type components are dynamic and periodic. The dynamic RCS period of a single rotor is related to the dynamic RCS period of the coaxial main rotor. | 13 | Discriminating hydrocarbon generation potential of coaly source rocks and their contribution:a case study from the Upper Paleozoic of Bohai Bay Basin,China显示文摘Although various coaly source rocks widely developed in the Carboniferous-Permian(C-P)of the Bohai Bay Basin,their geochemical characteristics and hydrocarbon generation potential are poorly understood.This study aims to discriminate the contribution of hydrocarbon generation from different C-P coaly source rocks and clarify the differences within generated oils using organic geochemistry,organic petrology,and thermal simulation experiments.The coaly source rocks containt coal clarain and durain,carbonaceous shale,and shale deposited in deltaic and lagoonal environment.The results indicated that clarain,durain,and carbonaceous shale exhibited higher hydrogen index and liquid-gas hydrocarbon yields than lagoonal and deltaic shales,which was mainly associated with the concentrations of sporinite,cutinite,and hydrogen-rich collodetrinite.Aliphatic hydro-carbons originated firom coal and carbonaceous shale presented lower Ts/(Ts+Tm),Ga/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane,18α(H)-oleanane/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane ratios,and higher 17β3(H)21α(H)-C_(30)Morane/17α(H)21β(H)-C_(30)hopane than deltaic lagoonal shales.Parameters of aromatic hydrocarbons generated from five lithologies of coaly source rocks trended as clear group distribution,e.g.,clarain and durain showing lower MNR,DBT/Fluorene(F)ratios and higher DBF/F ratio than coaly shales.The distinct descending trend of hydrocarbon potential is obtained from clarain,durain,carbonaceous shale to lagoonal and deltaic shales,implying dominated the petroleum and natural gas supplement from coal and carbonaceous shale.The difference between aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons provides a significant contribution to analyze the generic relationship between coaly source rock and lacustrine shale.Our results illustrate the importance of coaly source rocks for the in-depth oil-gas exploration of the Bohai Bay Basin and understanding hydrocarbon generation potential of source rocks in coal bearing strata. | Jinjun XU Da LOU Qiang JIN Lixin FU Fuqi CHENG Shuhui ZHOU Xiuhong WANG Chao LIANG Fulai LI | 2021 | Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,4: | 1 |
