1Synthesis of a novel illite@carbon nanocomposite adsorbent for removal of Cr(Ⅵ)from wastewater显示文摘A novel illite@carbon(I@C) nanocomposite adsorbent has been synthesized via a facile hydrothermal carbonization process(HTC) using glucose as carbonaceous source and illite as the carrier.The morphology,microstructure and surface properties of the prepared nanocomposite adsorbent were analyzed by FESEM,TGA,XRD,FT-IR and Zeta potential measurements.Batch experiments were carried out on the adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ) to determine the adsorption properties of the composite.The adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ) onto the I@C nanocomposite was well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm.Compared with the illite and carbon material(SC) separately,the prepared I@C nanocomposite adsorbent exhibited enhanced adsorption performance for Cr(Ⅵ) with a maximum adsorption capacity of 149.25 mg/g,which was higher than that of most reported adsorbents.In addition,the adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic based on the adsorption thermodynamics study.The adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ) by I@C was highly p H-dependent and the optimum adsorption occurred at p H 2.0.The Zeta potential analysis results indicated that the electrostatic interactions between anionic Cr(Ⅵ) and the positively charged surface of the adsorbent might be critical to the adsorption mechanism.This study demonstrated that the I@C nanocomposite should be a promising candidate for a low-cost,environmental friendly and highly efficient adsorbent for the removal of toxic Cr(Ⅵ) from wastewater.Gaofeng Wang Shan Wang Wen Sun Zhiming Sun Shuilin Zheng 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:7

3Pulsed electrohydrodynamic printing of conductive silver patterns on demand显示文摘Pulsed electrohydrodynamic printing(EHDP) is used to fabricate conductive silver patterns with micrometer resolution.The silver ink pendant experiences swelling,pulsation,and ejection under an applied pulse voltage of 20 Hz.The droplet deposition frequency is equal to the applied voltage frequency so that the EHDP can deposit silver ink on demand.A low applied voltage favors uniform and non-scattering silver patterns while a high applied voltage results in ink scattering.Discrete droplets with 45-55 m in diameter and continuous tracks with 60 m in width are generated by using a 110-m-cailber nozzle.The feature size of deposited patterns is about half of the nozzle caliber,and a finer resolution can be achieved with the introduction of smaller nozzle calibers.Furthermore,the appropriate curing condition is investigated for sufficient combustion of ink solvent.The minimum resistivity of 3.3 cm is demonstrated for a continuous track cured at 200°C for 10 min.Eventually,several passive electrical components,such as coated resistors,interdigitated capacitors(6 pF),and spiral inductors(0.6 H),are successfully fabricated.WANG Xiangt XU Lei ZHENG GaoFeng CHENG Wei SUN DaoHeng 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,6:4

5Short-Term Relay Quality Prediction Algorithm Based on Long and Short-Term Memory显示文摘The fraction defective of semi-finished products is predicted to optimize the process of relay production lines, by which production quality and productivity are increased, and the costs are decreased. The process parameters of relay production lines are studied based on the long-and-short-term memory network. Then, the Keras deep learning framework is utilized to build up a short-term relay quality prediction algorithm for the semi-finished product. A simulation model is used to study prediction algorithm. The simulation results show that the average prediction absolute error of the fraction is less than 5%. 8Study on Plasticity Modification for Measuring High Residual Stress by Hole-Drilling Method显示文摘Hole-drilling method is a commonly used method for measuring residual stress. The calibration coefficients in ASTM E837-13 a would cause large errors due to the plasticity deformation of materials. In the study, calibration coefficients were modified in the plasticity deformation stage based on the distortion energy theory. The calibration experiment of calibration coefficients was simulated by the finite element model, and the plasticity modification formulas of 7075 aluminum alloy were obtained. From the results of uniaxial tensile loading test, the measuring errors of high residual stress are significantly reduced from-4.071%~53.440% to-5.140% ~ 0.609% after the plasticity modification. 14Electrohydrodynamic 3D printing of orderly carbon/nickel composite network as supercapacitor electrodes显示文摘Electrohydrodynamic(EHD)3D printing of ca rbon-based materials in the form of orderly networks can have various applications.In this work,microscale carbon/nickel(C-Ni)composite electrodes with controlled porosity have been utilized in electrochemical energy storage of supercapacitors.Polyacrylonitrile(PAN)was chosen as the basic material for its excellent carbonization performance and EHD printing property.Nickel nitrate(Ni(NO_(3))_(2))was incorporated to form Ni nanoparticles which can improve the conductivity and the capacitance performance of the electrode.Well-aligned PAN-Ni(NO_(3))_(2) composite structures have been fabricated and carbonized as C-Ni electrodes with the typical diameter of 9.2±2.1μm.The porosity of the as-prepared C-Ni electrode can be controlled during the EHD process.Electrochemical results show the C-Ni network electrode has achieved a 2.3 times higher areal specific capacitance and 1.7 times higher mass specific capacitance than those of a spin-coated electrode.As such,this process offers a facile and scalable strategy for the fabrication of orderly carbon-based conductive structures for various applications such as energy storage devices and printable electronics.Bing Zhang Jiankang He Gaofeng Zheng Yuanyuan Huang Chaohung Wang Peisheng He Fanping Sui Lingchao Meng Liwei Lin 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,23:1

18Chinese herbal compound Jinsiwei(金思维)improves synaptic plasticity in mice with sporadic Alzheimer’s disease induced by streptozotocin显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Jinsiwei(a patented Chinese herbal compound)on learning and memory impairment,the number of synapses and synaptic plasticity-related structural and functional protein expression in mice with sporadic Alzheimer’s disease(SAD)induced by streptozotocin.METHODS:Seventy-five C57/BL6J male mice were intracerebroventricularly injected with streptozotocin to establish the animal model of SAD.Mice were randomly divided into the model group(MG),donepezil group(DG),and the Jinsiwei high,medium,and low-dose groups(JH,JM,JL).Another fifteen C57/BL6J male mice were injected with artificial cerebrospinal fluid as the control group(CG).The intervention groups were intragastrically administrated with corresponding medicine,while the CG and MG were given 0.5%carboxymethyl cellulose by gavage.After 3 months,the Morris Water Maze test and step-down passive avoidance test were used to assess the learning and memory ability of mice.Synapses in hippocampal CA1 were observed by transmission electron microscope.Immunohistochemistry and western blotting were used to assess the distribution and expression levels of synaptic plasticity-related structural and functional proteins involving drebrin,cofilin,synapsin(syn),and N-methyl D-aspartate receptor subtype 2B(NR2B).RESULTS:The Morris Water Maze results showed that the escape latency in the Jinsiwei intervention groups was significantly shorter than that of the MG.Results of the step-down passive-avoidance test showed that the error times in the Jinsiwei intervention groups were significantly reduced compared with the MG.Transmission electron microscope results showed that the number of synapses in hippocampal CA1 was obviously increased in the Jinsiwei intervention groups compared with the MG.Immunohistochemical and western blotting results revealed that the positive cells and expression levels of drebrin,syn,and NR2B were significantly decreased in the MG and meanwhile cofilin significantly increased,while these changes were reversed after the Jinsiwei treatment.CONCLUSIONS:Jinsiwei can alleviate learning and memory impairments in a mouse model of SAD,increase the number of synapses and enhance synaptic plasticity via rescuing the expression of drebrin,syn,and NR2B and inhibiting cofilin expression.TIAN Meijing HE Yannan ZHENG Mingcui QIN Gaofeng GONG Zhuoyan HUANG Shuaiyang WANG Pengwen 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:0

201D/2D composite subnanometer channels for ion transport:The role of confined water显示文摘As a mass transport media,water is an alternative of organic solvent applied in rechargeable batteries,due to its unique properties,including fast ionic migration,easy-processibility,economic/environmental friendliness,and flame retardancy.However,due to the high activity of water molecules in aqueous electrolytes,the corrosion of metal anode,side reactions,and inferior metal electrodeposition behavior leads to unstable cycling performance,poor Coulombic efficiency(CE),and early-staged failure of batteries.Despite several attempts to regulate the activity of water,migration of ions is sacrificed,due to the limited methods to control the water states.Herein,we developed a subnanoscale confinement strategy based on a nacre-like structure to modulate the activity of water in the solid electrolytes.By tuning the ratio between the two-dimensional(2D)vermiculite and one-dimensional(1D)cellulose nanofibers(CNFs),the capillary size in the 1D/2D structure is altered to achieve a fast Zn^(2+)transport.Our dielectric relaxation and molecular dynamics studies indicate that the enhanced Zn^(2+)conductivity is attributed to the fast water relaxation in the precisely defined 1D/2D capillary.Taking advantage of the regulated activity of the confined water in 2D capillary,the composite vermiculite membrane can suppress the corrosion and side reactions between Zn electrode and water molecular,endowing a reversible Zn^(2+)stripping/plating behavior and a stable cycling performance for 900 h.Based on our confinement strategy to control the water states by 1D/2D structures,this work will open an avenue toward aqueous energy storage devices with excellent reversibility,high safety,and long-term stability.Yuhao Li Xiaorui Jin Xinhai Yan Xinyu Ai Xin Yang Zi-Jian Zheng Kun Huang Gaofeng Zhao Yongan Yang Meiling Wu Kai-Ge Zhou 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
