| 1 | Features analysis on Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the features of the distribution and differentiation ofTraditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndromes in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).METHODS:We collected clinical data on illness course,age,fasting blood glucose,saccharogenic hemoglobin,TCM syndromes,tongue,and pulse of238 DPN patients.Differentiated main syndromes(Yin deficiency and exuberant heat,invasion of spleen by damp-heat,deficiency of both Qi and Yins,and deficiency of both Yin and Yang)and accompanying syndromes(blood stasis and phlegm-dampness)of diabetes were also recorded.The features of DPN syndromes were then analyzed.RESULTS:Among the four main syndromes of diabetes,deficiency of both Yin and Yang was the most common in the 238 DPN patients,of which89%-96%had blood stasis.CONCLUSION:The method of differentiating syndromes of diabetes can be applied to DPN patients.Deficiency of both Yin and Yang,often accompanied by blood stasis,is commonly seen. | Mingdi Li Hao Su Yuyan Xiang Jingyi Zhang Jingjie Zhao Lan Lin | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013，33，5： | 6 |

| 3 | Therapeutic Effect and Mechanism of Caulophyllum robustum Maxim Extract on Adjuvant Arthritis Rats显示文摘[Objectives]To study the anti-inflammation and anti-swelling effect of Caulophyllum robustum Maxim( CRM) extract on secondary lesions of adjuvant arthritis( AA),associated inflammatory factors of AA rats and mice immune function. [Methods]Rats were divided into high,middle and low dose CRM extract groups( 69. 23,34. 61,17. 31 mg/kg),methotrexate group( 0. 68 mg/kg),triptolide group( 7. 88 mg/kg),model group and normal control group. The AA rat model was induced by intradermal injection of Freund's complete adjuvant( FCA). After the AA model was established successfully,the paw swelling of AA rats was observed and recorded. The levels of interleukin-1β( IL-1β),interleukin-4( IL-4),interleukin-10( IL-10),Tumor Necrosis Factor-α( TNF-α),interleukin 17( IL-17),interferon( IFN-γ),granulocyte colony-stimulating factor( G-CSF) and transforming growth factor( TGF-β) in the serum of AA rats were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA). The spleen was removed and weighed for detecting the drug influence on the immune organs.Impacts were observed by gavage administration at different dosages of 25 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg for seven days,adopting carbon granules clearance test,delayed-type hypersensitivity induced by dinitrofluorobenzene( DNFB) coupled with flow cytometry evaluating lymphocytes( CD3^+,CD4^+,CD8^+) activation and serolysin test. [Results] Compared with the model group,the joint swelling,spleen index and inflammatory cytokines( IL-1β,IL-4,IL-10,TNF-α,IL-17,IFN-γ,G-CSF,TGF-β) were reduced significantly( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01). And the activity of CRM was significantly superior to methotrexate and triptergium. Moreover,the results indicated that different dosages of 25 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg of CRM could significantly reduce the carbon granules clearance index( K) and phagocytic index( a),inhibit the phagocytosis of mononuclear macrophages,reduce the mice swelling extent and inhibit DTH in mice induced by DNFB,decrease the quantity of serum hemolysin. Percentage of CD3^+,CD4^+,and the ratio of CD4^+,CD8^+ notably decreased,whereas CD8^+ obviously increased. | 4 | Risk Factors for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus(GDM)in Subsequent Pregnancy Among Women Without GDM History in China:A Multicenter Retrospective Study显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to determine the likelihood of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)in subsequent pregnancy among women without GDM history and to identify risk factors for GDM in subsequent pregnancy.Methods:This retrospective cohort study involved participants who delivered twice in same hospital of 18 research centers when delivered the second baby from January 2018 to December 2018.Finally 6204 women were enrolled and 5180 women without GDM history were analyzed further.Women were categorized as non-GDM or GDM based on the blood glucose values of the subsequent pregnancy,and the characteristics and GDM risk of these groups were compared.A univariate analysis of potential risk factors was performed using the Chi-squared test and/ort-test for qualitative or quantitative variables,respectively.Associations withP values<0.1 were chosen to be included in the multivariate binary logistic regression model.Results:In primary analysis of 6204 women,the incidence of GDM in subsequent pregnancy is 48.9%(490/1002)in women with GDM history and 16.1%(835/5202)in women without GDM history.In a further analysis for 5180 women without GDM at index pregnancy,compared with the non-GDM group,the GDM group had a significantly higher age,prepregnancy body mass index,and blood glucose value at each oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)timepoint(fasting,1 h and 2 h)during the index and subsequent pregnancies,as well as higher weight retention during the interval between the two pregnancies(P<0.001).Age above 35 years in subsequent pregnancy(odds ratio(OR)=1.540,95%confidence interval(CI)=1.257-1.886,P<0.001),macrosomia in index pregnancy(OR=1.749,95%CI=1.277-2.395,P=0.001),OGTT blood glucose values in index pregnancy(fasting,OR=2.487,95%CI=1.883-3.285,P<0.001;1 h,OR=1.142,95%CI=1.051-1.241,P=0.002;2 h,OR=1.290,95%CI=1.162-1.432,P<0.001)and weight retention(OR=1.052,95%CI=1.035-1.068,P<0.001)were independent risk factors for GDM in subsequent pregnancy.Conclusion:For women without GDM history,GDM risk factors including age,macrosomia history,OGTT value,and weight retention,these can be evaluated before a subsequent pregnancy.Early warning and interventions are needed for women at high risk. | Geng Song Yumei Wei Juan Juan Rina Su Jianying Yan Mei Xiao Xianlan Zhao Meihua Zhang Yuyan Ma Haiwei Liu Jingxia Sun Kejia Hu Huixia Yang | 2023 | Maternal-Fetal Medicine2023，5，1： | 1 |

| 6 | Variation in egg size and nestling growth rate in relation to clutch size and laying sequence in great tits Parus major显示文摘The objectives of this study were to examine (1) optimal clutch size in great tits (Parus major) nesting in nest boxes; (2) variation in egg morphology and nestling growth rate with position in the laying sequence; and (3) hatching asynchrony and nestling survival as determined by infrared nest cameras. We collected data from 73 clutches in artificial nest boxes in the Zuojia Natural Preserve area in Jilin Province, China, in 2005 and 2006, using infrared cameras to match laying order to hatching order for four nests. Egg morphology and growth rate were significantly affected by clutch size and position in the laying order. Overall, egg size and growth rate increased with position in the laying order. In general, it was diffcult to detect asynchronous hatching from observations alone, but data from our infrared cameras showed that early-laid eggs tended to hatch before later-laid eggs, leading to hatching asynchrony. However, females invested more into last-laid eggs and nestlings, reducing size asynchrony among the chicks and leading to higher survival rates of nestlings. | 7 | Converting intercalation-type cathode in spent lithium-ion batteries into conversion-type cathode显示文摘The widespread applications of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)generate tons of spent LIBs.Therefore,recycling LIBs is of paramount importance in protecting the environment and saving the resources.Current commercialized LIBs mostly adopt layered oxides such as LiCoO_(2)(LCO)or LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)(NMC)as the cathode materials.Converting the intercalation-type spent oxides into conversion-type cathodes(such as metal fluorides(MFs))offers a valid recycling strategy and provides substantially improved energy densities for LIBs.Herein,two typical Co-based cathodes,LCO and LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622),in spent LIBs were successfully converted to CoF_(2) and(Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z))F_(2) cathodes by a reduction and fluorination technique.The as converted CoF_(2) and(Ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z))F_(2) delivered cell energy densities of 650 and 700 Wh/kg,respectively.Advanced atomic-level electron microscopy revealed that the used LCO and NMC622 were converted to highly phase pure Co metal and Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2) alloys in the used graphite-assisted reduction roasting,simultaneously producing the important product of Li_(2)CO_(3) using only environment friendly solvent.Our study provided a versatile strategy to convert the intercalation-type Co-based cathode in the spent LIBs into conversion-type MFs cathodes,which offers a new avenue to recycle the spent LIBs and substantially increase the energy densities of next generation LIBs. | Dingding Zhu Yong Su Jingzhao Chen Xiangze Ou Xuedong Zhang Wen Xie Yuyan Zhou Yunna Guo Qiushi Dai Peng Jia Jitong Yan Lin Geng Baiyu Guo Liqiang Zhang Yongfu Tang Qiao Huang Jianyu Huang | 2024 | Nano Research2024，17，5： | 0 |

It was found that the exposure of FG cells to abamectin caused the decreases of both cell growth rate and antioxidant enzyme activities,and the increase of intracellular O2- content. It was proposed that the reduction of antioxidant enzyme activities in FG cells caused the accu- mulation of O2- content in FG cells, leading to the change of cell morphology and even the death of cells.
