1A Remote Sensing-based Analysis on the Impact of Wenchuan Earthquake on the Core Value of World Nature Heritage Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuary显示文摘In this study,we used remotely sensed data,GIS modeling,and statistical methods to evaluate the damage caused by the Wenchuan Earthquake (May 12,2008) to the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) habitat in the World Nature Heritage Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuary (WHSGPS) in China.A landscape ecological analysis found increases of landscape heterogeneity,complexity,and fragmentation in the giant panda habitat after the earthquake.A terrain analysis found that slope and elevation are directly associated with the distribution of the damaged areas.As slope and elevation increase,the size of the damaged area keeps increase until to a peak,and then starts to drop.The total area of the damaged vegetation in our study area is 114.26 km 2,accounting for 3.78% of the study area;30.46% of that 114.26 km 2 is located in the Core Zone of WHSGPS.There are 18.57km 2 of the damaged vegetation located in the identified suitable giant panda habitat,accounting for 1.75% of the total area of suitable giant panda habitats in the study area.Based on these findings,we conclude that the Wenchuan Earthquake does not have significant impact on the WHSGPS as a whole.YU Hu ZHAO Yongtao MA Yuewei SUN Yulian ZHANG Hu YANG Shihong LUO Yong 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,3:8
2Chromopeptide A, a highly cytotoxic depsipeptide from the marine sediment-derived bacterium Chromobacterium sp. HS-13-94显示文摘A bicyclic depsipeptide, chromopeptide A(1), was isolated from a deep-sea-derived bacterium Chromobacterium sp. HS-13-94. Its structure was determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis and by comparison with a related known compound. The absolute configuration of chromopeptide A was established by X-ray diffraction analysis employing graphite monochromated Mo K_α radiation(λ ? 0.71073 ?) with small Flack parameter 0.03. 3Prognostic value of pre-and post-transplantation 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography results in non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients receiving autologous stem cell transplantation显示文摘Objective: High-dose chemotherapy(HDC) followed by autologous stem cell transplantation(ASCT) is the standard of care in the upfront or relapsed/refractory setting in some patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL).However,a proportion of patients do not respond to ASCT.^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose(FDG) positron emission tomography(PET)/computed tomography(CT) has been widely used for staging,response evaluation,and prognosis prediction.Here,we investigated the prognostic role of PET/CT in NHL patients before and after ASCT.Methods: A retrospective study was conducted at Peking University Cancer Hospital.All NHL patients who underwent ASCT between March 2010 and July 2016 were identified.Patients who had PET/CT scan before and after ASCT were included.Deauville criteria(5-point scale) were used to interpret PET scans.Univariate and multivariate survival analyses were performed using Cox regression.The predictive value of PET scanning was estimated by comparing the area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve.Results: In total,79 patients were enrolled in this study.In univariate analysis,pre-and post-ASCT PET result was identified as prognostic factors for 3-year progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS).Patients with negative pre-ASCT PET result demonstrated significantly better PFS(84.2% vs.54.2%) and OS(89.2% vs.63.6%) than patients with positive pre-ASCT PET result.PFS(91.6% vs.25.3%) and OS(96.5% vs.36.8%) were also significantly different between patients with negative and positive post-ASCT PET result.Multivariate analysis also showed a significant association between survival and post-ASCT PET result.ROC analysis revealed that the predictive value of post-ASCT PET result was superior to that of pre-ASCT PET result alone.Combined pre-and post-ASCT PET result is better for predicting outcomes in patients with NHL receiving transplantation.Deauville criteria score >3 was identified as the best cutoff value for post-ASCT PET.Conclusions: Post-ASCT PET result was more important than pre-ASCT PET result in predicting outcomes for NHL patients who underwent ASCT.The prognostic significance can be improved when combining preASCT PET result with post-ASCT PET result.Deauville criteria can be used for interpreting PET scans in this scenario.Zhitao Ying Lan Mi Xuejuan Wang Yuewei Zhang Zhi Yang Yuqin Song Xiaopei Wang WenZheng Ningjing Lin Meifeng Tu Yan Xie Lingyan Ping Chen Zhang Weiping Liu LijuanDeng Jun Zhu 2017Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6:3
4Neutron halo state of ^(13)C显示文摘Angular distributions for the 12C(d, p)13C transfer reactions have been measured at Ed = 11.8 MeV, and compared with those of the DWBA calculations. By means of this comparison, density distributions of the last neutron in the ground state and the first 1/2+ state of 13C are extracted. The properties of these states in 13C have also been studied in the framework of the nonlinear relativistic mean-field theory with NL-SH parameters. 5Deep-blue organic light-emitting diodes based on a doublet d-f transition cerium(Ⅲ) complex with 100% exciton utilization efficiency显示文摘Compared to red and green organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs),blue OLEDs are still the bottleneck due to the lack of efficient emitters with simultaneous high exciton utilization efficiency(EUE)and short excited-state lifetime.Different from the fluorescence,phosphorescence,thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF),and organic radical materials traditionally used in OLEDs,we demonstrate herein a new type of emitter,cerium(Ⅲ)complex Ce-1 with spin-allowed and parity-allowed d-f transition of the centre Ce^(3+) ion.The compound exhibits a high EUE up to 100% in OLEDs and a short excited-state lifetime of 42 ns,which is considerably faster than that achieved in efficient phosphorescence and TADF emitters.The optimized OLEDs show an average maximum external quantum efficiency(EQE)of 12.4% and Commission Internationale de L’Eclairage(CIE)coordinates of(0.146,0.078).Liding Wang Zifeng Zhao Ge Zhan Huayi Fang Hannan Yang Tianyu Huang Yuewei Zhang Nan Jiang Lian Duan Zhiwei Liu Zuqiang Bian Zhenghong Lu Chunhui Huang 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:3
6Changes in the frequency of myeloid-derived suppressor cells after transarterial chemoembolization with gelatin sponge microparticles for hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Purpose: A series of clinical studies have established the safety and efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) with gelatin sponge microparticles(GSMs) in treating hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). HCC can lead to obvious necrosis inside tumors, especially larger ones, although it is unclear whether such necrotic tumor tissue can induce favorable immune reactions against the tumor. Myeloid-derived suppressor cells(MDSCs)have immunosuppressive functions and are currently considered a very important cell type affecting tumor immunity. This study observed changes in MDSC frequency in peripheral blood before and after GSM–TACE to evaluate the effect on the immune function of HCC patients.Methods: Eight patients diagnosed with HCC underwent GSM–TACE treatment in the Hepatobiliary Interventional Department of Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital, Beijing, China;we followed up with the patients over a period of 30 days post-surgery. We used flow cytometry(FCM) to quantify the frequency of MDSCs in peripheral blood before TACE, 10 days after surgery and 30 days after surgery.Results: MDSC frequency after GSM–TACE had a significant downward trend. Pre-TACE, it was 30.73% ? 11.93%,decreasing to 18.60% ? 11.37% at 10 days after operation. This decrease was not statistically significant(P > 0.05). MDSC frequency was even lower 30 days after TACE(7.63% ? 7.32%) than at 10 days after TACE(P < 0.05), and there was a significant difference compared with pre-TACE(P < 0.001). We evaluated tumor response at 30 days after GSM–TACE according to the Modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(mRECIST), and all eight patients showed partial response(PR).Conclusion: Our results confirmed that GSM–TACE was beneficial for improving anti-tumor immunity in the treatment of HCC.Yuanxun Yue Zhizhong Ren Ying Liu Yuewei Zhang 2019Journal of Interventional Medicine2019,2,1:2

8A Mitochondria-Specific Orange/Near-Infrared-Emissive Fluorescent Probe for Dual-Imaging of Viscosity and H_(2)0_(2) in Inflammation and Tumor Models显示文摘Elucidating the intrinsic relationship between viscosity/H_(2)0_(2) and mitochondria-associated diseases remains a great challenge owing to the lack of research on multiple diseases models,such as inflammation and malignant tumor models.In this work,we have developed a mitochondria-specific orange/near-infrared-emissive fluorescent probe TTPB,for dual-imaging of viscosity and H_(2)0_(2) levels in two different channels.The probe exhibited a remarkable response to viscosity with NIR emission round 666 nm,and was highly sensitive to H_(2)0_(2) in orange channel with emission peak at 586 nm.Moreover,TTPB has good mitochondria-specific ability and permits individual detecting of viscosity in NIR channels and H_(2)0_(2) levels in orange channel in living cells.More notably,TTPB was successfully applied to simultaneously image the viscosity and H_(2)0_(2) levels in inflammation and cancer models.Li Fan Qi Zan Xiaodong Wang Shuohang Wang Yuewei Zhang Wenjuan Dong Shaomin Shuang Chuan Dong 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,5:2

13Variation in Polymerization Degree of C-A-S-H Gels and Its Role in Strength Development of Alkali-activated Slag Binders显示文摘To investigate the variation in the degree of polymerization calcium aluminium silicate hydrate(C-A-S-H)gel and its role in the evolution of the strength of waterglass slag binders,the compressive strength,hydration products,degree of hydration of the slag,and the degree of polymerization of C-A-S-H gels of binders were examined.The experimental results indicate that the pH of the pore solution increased with an increase in the Na_(2)O concentration.However,mortar with an optimum compressive strength value of 81.0 MPa at 28 d was obtained when water glass modulus was 1.5.The main hydration product is a C-A-S-H gel for which the quantity and the degree of polymerization depend strongly on the Na_(2)O concentration;for a given range,both increase with increasing Na_(2)O concentration,thus yielding an enhanced strength.A further increase in the Na_(2)O concentration continuously increases the quantity of C-A-S-H gels while drastically reducing the degree of polymerization.The positive effect of the former is counteracted by the adverse effect of the latter,ultimately,leading to a decreased strength.Furthermore,we reveal that the degree of polymerization for C-A-S-H gels may be affected by pH,through a series of complex chemical reactions.刘庆 ZHANG Jiakang SU Yuewei 吕宪俊 2021Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,6:1
14Occurrence and risk assessment of triclosan in freshwater lakes in the middle Yangtze River basin (Wuhan, Central China)显示文摘Triclosan(TCS)is an endocrine disrupting chemical which is commonly used as a disinfectant in pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCP's).Since early 2020,the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 has increased the use of PPCP's,so the occurrence and impact of TCS on freshwater lakes should be considered.However,little attention has been given to the effect of TCS on freshwater lakes in China.This study is the first attempt at a risk assessment focusing on the temporal and spatial occurrence of TCS in freshwater lakes in the middle Yangtze River basin.The surface water and sediments of Donghu Lake and Liangzi Lake(Wuhan,Central China)were collected from October 2020 to August 2021.The maximum concentrations of TCS were 466 ng/L and 239 ng/L in surface water,71 ng/g and 25 ng/g(dry weight)in sediments of Donghu Lake and Liangzi Lake,respectively.Significant temporal and spatial differences of TCS were observed within and between the lakes,with the highest concentrations measured in winter.Furthermore,higher concentrations of TCS were observed in areas that are more impacted by human activities.There was a significant positive correlation between TCS and nitrogen in the surface water.A risk assessment using the risk quotient(RQ)method showed that a potentially high risk(RQ>1)was found only in surface waters from Donghu Lake,and that the sediments posed a lower risk than the surface waters.These results provide timely data on the temporal and spatial occurrence of TCS in freshwater lakes in China following the outbreak of COVID-19 and demonstrate a possible high risk of exposure to TCS for aquatic biota.Yuewei Wang Deshou Cun Zihan Zhang Dongwei Pu Xiaohui Li Wei Liang Tao Fang 2022Water Biology and Security2022,1,4:1
