1Therapeutic effect of autologous dendritic cell vaccine on patients with chronic hepatitis B: A clinical study显示文摘AIM: To investigate the therapeutic effect of autologous HBsAg-loaded dendritic cells (DCs) on patients with chronic hepatitis B.METHODS: Monocytes were isolated from fresh peripheral blood of 19 chronic HBV-infected patients by Ficoll-Hypaque density gradient centrifugation and cultured by plastic-adherence methods. DCs were induced and proliferated in the culture medium with recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage-colony- stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF) and human interleukin-4 (rhIL-4). DCs pulsed with HBsAg for twelve hours were injected into patients subcutaneously twice at intervals of two weeks. Two patients received 100 mg oral lamivudine daily for 12 mo at the same time. HBV-DNA and viral markers in sera of patients were tested every two months.RESULTS: By the end of 2003, 11 of 19 (57.9%) patients had a clinical response to DC-treatment. HBeAg of 10(52.6%) patients became negative, and the copies of HBVDNA decreased 101.77±2.39 averagely (t = 3.13, P<0.01).Two cases co-treated with DCs and lamivudine had a complete clinical response. There were no significant differences in the efficient rate between the cases with ALT level lower than 2xULN and those with ALT level higher than 2xULN before treatment (χ2 = 0.0026).CONCLUSION: Autologous DC-vaccine induced in vitro can effectively suppress HBV replication, reduce the virus load in sera, eliminate HBeAg and promote HBeAg/antiHBe transformation. 2Construction of PR domain eukaryotic expression vector and its inhibitory effect on esophageal cancer cells显示文摘Objective:PR domain is responsible for the tumor suppressing activity of RIZ1.The study aimed to construct human PR domain eukaryotic expression vectors,transfect human esophageal cancer cells(TE13),and evaluate the anticancer activity of PR domain on human esophageal cancer TE13 cells.Methods:First,mRNA was extracted from human esophageal cancer tissue by RT-PCR,then reversetranscribed to cDNA.After amplifying from the DNA template,PR domain was linked to T vector.Second,after extraction,PR domain was cut using enzyme and linked to pcDNA3.1(+).Then,the plasmid was transfered to Trans1-T1 phage resistant competent cells,following by extracting the ultrapure plasmid,and transfecting into TE13 cells.In the end,the protein expression of pcDNA3.1(+)/PR domain in TE13 was detected by Western blot,and the apoptosis of TE13 by technique of flow cytometry.Results:More than 5,000 bp purposed band of pcDNA3.1(+)/PR domain plasmid was found by agarose gel electrophoresis.After transfection,the PR domain(molecular weight of about 28 Da)was found only in 3,4 and 5 groups by Western blot.Flow cytometry assay showed apoptosis in experimental group was significantly more than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:The PR domain eukaryotic expression vector was constructed successfully.The protein of the PR domain could be expressed in esophageal cancer TE13 cells firmly after transfection,and a single PR domain could promote apoptosis of TE13 cells.Yuan Chen Peng Zhang Yuanguo Wang Shangwen Dong Yimei Liu 2013Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,5:6
3A TCP Performance Enhancement Scheme in Infrastructure based Vehicular Networks显示文摘Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) in infrastructure based vehicular networks is dedicated to support reliable Internet services for mobile users.However,an end-toend TCP flow not only experiences some common challenges in wireless mobile networks,such as high packet loss rate,medium access competition,unstable wireless bandwidth,and dynamic topology,etc.,but also suffers from performance degradation due to traffic congestion at the Road-Side Units(RSUs) that connect the wireline and wireless networks.In order to address the challenging issues related to reliable TCP transmissions in infrastructure based vehicular networks,we propose an RSU based TCP(R-TCP) scheme.For wireline source nodes,R-TCP adopts a novel flow control mechanism to adjust transmission rates according to the status of bottleneck link.Specifically,during the short wireless connection time in Infrastructure based vehicular networks,R-TCP quickly chooses an ideal transmission rate for data transmissions instead of activating the slow start algorithm after the connection is established,and successfully avoids the oscillation of the transmission rate.Simulation results show that R-TCP achieves great advantages than some relate proposals in terms of throughput,end-to-end delay,and packet loss rate.HA Le FANG Lijin BI Yuanguo LIU Wei 2015China Communications2015,12,6:5
4Explicit Rate Based Transmission Control Scheme in Vehicle-to-lnfrastructure Communication Networks显示文摘In Vehicle-to-infrastructure(V2I)communication networks,mobile users are able to access Internet services,such as video streaming,digital map downloading,database access,online gaming,and even safety services like accident alarm,traffic condition broadcast,etc.,through fixed roadside units.However,the dynamics of communication environment and frequent changing topology critically challenge the design of an efficient transport layer protocol,which makes it difficult to guarantee diverse Quality of Service(QoS) requirements for various applications.In this paper,we present a novel transport layer scheme in infrastructure based vehicular networks,and aim to resolve some challenging issues such as source transfer rate adjustment,congestion avoidance,and fairness.By precisely detecting packet losses and identifying various causes of these losses(for example,link disconnection,channel error,packet collision,buffer overflow),the proposed scheme adopts different reacting mechanisms to deal with each of the losses.Moreover,it timely monitors the buffer size of the bottleneck Road-Side Unit(RSU),and dynamically makes transfer rate feedbacks to source nodes to avoid buffer overflow or vacancy.Finally,analysis and simulation results show that the proposed scheme not only successfully reduces packet losses because of buffer overflow and link disconnection but also improves the utilization efficiency of channel resource.BI Yuanguo Xuemin (Sherman) SHEN ZHAO Hai 2014China Communications2014,11,1:2

8Effect of cooling rate on phosphorus segregation behavior and the corresponding precipitation of γ’’ and γ’ phases in IN718 alloy显示文摘Effect of segregation behaviors of P at different cooling rates on the precipitation of γ' and γ' phases and the corresponding strength are investigated. The precipitation of γ' and γ' phases during cooling is sensi-tive to P concentration. With increasing the concentration of Pf the amount of γ' and γ' particles increases after air cooling. With decreasing the cooling rate, the accelerating effect of P on the precipitation of γ' and γ' phases decreased first and then increased, which demonstrates the concentration of P dissolved in the grain interior decreases first and then increases. The different effects of P on γ'and γ' phases with different cooling rates were analyzed by the kinetic characteristic of nonequilibrium grain-boundary seg-regation. 11Boron nitride-based electrocatalysts for HER,OER,and ORR:A mini-review显示文摘A reliable and efficient solution to the current energy crisis and its associated environmental issues is provided by fuel cells,metal-air batteries and overall water splitting.The heart reactions for these technologies are oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Different supporters such as graphene,carbon nanotube,and graphitic carbon nitride have been used to avoid agglomeration of active materials and provide maximum active surface for these reactions.Among all the supporters,boron nitride(BN)gains extensive research attention due to its analogue with graphene and excellent stability with good oxidation and chemical inertness.In this mini-review,the well-known strategies(exfoliation,annealing,and CVD)used in the synthesis of BN with different morphologies for HER,OER and ORR applications have been briefly debated and summarized.The comparative analysis determines that the performance and stability of state-of-the-art electrocatalysts can be further boosted if they are deposited on BN.It is revealed that BN-based catalysts for HER,OER and ORR are rarely studied yet especially with non-noble transition metals,and this research direction should be studied deeply in future for practical applications.Nabi ULLAH Rizwan ULLAH Saraf KHAN Yuanguo XU 2021Frontiers of Materials Science2021,15,4:1
12A Joint Delay-and-Sum and Fourier Beamforming Method for High Frame Rate Ultrasound Imaging显示文摘Frame rate is an important metric for ultrasound imaging systems,and high frame rates(HFR)benefit moving-target imaging.One common way to obtain HFR imaging is to transmit a plane wave.Delay-and-sum(DAS)beamformer is a conventional beamforming algorithm,which is simple and has been widely implemented in clinical application.Fourier beamforming is an alternative method for HFR imaging and has high levels of imaging efficiency,imaging speed,and good temporal dynamic characteristics.Nevertheless,the resolution and contrast performance of HFR imaging based on DAS or Fourier beamforming are insufficient due to the single plane wave transmission.To address this problem,a joint DAS and Fourier beamforming method is introduced in this study.The proposed method considers the different distributions of sidelobes in DAS imaging and Fourier imaging and combines the angular spectrum and DAS to reconstruct ultrasound images.The proposed method is evaluated on simulation and experimental phantom datasets to compare its performance with DAS and Fourier beamforming methods.Results demonstrate that the proposed method improves image effective dynamic range and resolution while also retaining a high frame rate of the ultrasound imaging systems.The proposed method improves the effective dynamic range along axial and lateral directions by 10 dB,compared to standard DAS and Fourier beamforming.Wei Zhao Shuai Feng Yadan Wang Yuanguo Wang Zhihui Han Hu Peng 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,4:1

16Scheduling algorithms for time-constrained big-le transfers in the Internet of Vehicles显示文摘In order to transfer large les and provide high-quality services in the IoV(Internet of Vehicles),intelligent routing and scheduling are indispensable for fast transfers and effcient network utilization,particularly when multi-path routing is allowed in the wired-transfer.Thus,a network administrator must select a set of feasible paths over which the transfer can be conducted.We consider a TBTS(Time-constrained Big-le Transfer Scheduling)problem in this paper.We prove that TBTS problem is NP-hard and that the TBTS problem can be solved by addressing a corresponding maximum ow over time problem with multi-path routing technique.We then propose both a heuristic algorithm(TBTS-H)and an exact algorithm(TBTS-A)to solve the TBTS problem.Although both of the proposed approaches can solve the TBTS problem,the heuristic runs more effciently by trading accuracy for delay,while the exact algorithm can achieve high accuracy for delay,at the cost of increased running-time.The corresponding simulation results illustrate this trade-o.Additionally,we conduct some comparisons between our proposed approaches and a traditional single-path routing scheme.Chuan Lin Yuanguo Bi Hai Zhao Zeshen Wang Jinfa Wang 2017Journal of Communications and Information Networks2017,2,2:1
