| 1 | Molecular phylogeny and biogeography of the highly specialized grade schizothoracine fishes (Teleostei:Cyprinidae) inferred from cytochrome b sequences显示文摘We recovered the phylogenetic relationships among 23 species and subspecies of the highly special-ized grade schizothoracine fishes distributing at 36 geographical sites in the Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding regions by analyzing sequences of cytochrome b genes. Furthermore, we estimated the possible divergent times among lineages based on a historical geological isolation event in the Tibetan Plateau. The molecular data revealed that the highly specialized grade schizothoracine fishes were not a monophyletic group, but were the same as genera Gymnocypris and Schizogypsis. Our results indi-cated that the molecular phylogenetic relationships apparently reflected their geographical and historical associations with drainages, namely species from the same and adjacent drainages clustered together and had close relationships. The divergence times of different lineages were well consistent with the rapid uplift phases of the Tibetan Plateau in the late Cenozoic, suggesting that the origin and evolution of schizothoracine fishes were strongly influenced by environment changes resulting from the upheaval of the Tibetan Plateau. | HE DeKui CHEN YiFeng | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007，52，6： | 19 |
| 2 | Protective Effect of Magnesium Isoglycyrrhizinate on Ethanol-Induced Testicular Injuries in Mice显示文摘Objective:Ethanol treatment induces an increase in oxidative stress. As licorice compounds are potent antioxidants, our aim was to examine whether magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate attenuated lipid peroxidation, the major end-point of oxidative damage resulting from ethanol administration. Methods: Four groups(18 animals in each group) of male Kunming mice were used. The first group served as control and received 0.4 ml normal saline daily for 18 days orally. The second group of mice was given 56% ethanol at 16 ml/kg body weight per day for 18 days orally. The third group was given the same dose of ethanol and administrated magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate (15 mg/kg.d, i.p.) for 18 days. The fourth group was given the same dose of ethanol and administrated with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate (45 mg/kg.d, i.p.) for 18 days. Twenty four hours after 9 days or 18 days of treatment the mice were sacrificed using 10% chloral hydrate. Sperm counts and motility in the epididymis were assessed. The lipid peroxidation and antioxidants of testicular mitochondria were also determined. The pathological changes of testicle tissue of the mice were observed by light microscopy. Results: Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate effectively prevented the ethanol-induced seminiferous epithelium disorganization and degeneration of Sertoli cells and germ cells. Sperm counts and motility of the magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate treated groups were higher than those of the alcohol treated group, but were lower than those of the control group. The drug exhibited an ability to counteract ethanol induced oxidative challenge as it effectively reduced testicular malondialdehyde (MDA) and increased the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase. | 3 | Association study of the single nucleotide polymorphisms in adiponectin-associated genes with type 2 diabetes in Han Chinese显示文摘Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of ADIPOQ, ADIPOR1, and ADIPOR2 have been associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), but there are many conflicting results especially in Chinese populations. To investigate the contribution of the adiponectin genes and their receptors to T2DM, a case-control study was performed and 11 SNPs of ADIPOQ, ADIPOR1, and ADIPOR2 were genotyped in 985 T2DM and 1,050 control subjects. rs16861194 (-11426 A>G) in the putative promoter of ADIPOQ was associated with T2DM (P = 0.007; OR = 1.29, 95% CI 1.08-1.55). None of the other 10 SNPs were associated with T2DM in this study, although rs2241766 and rs1501299 were reported to be associated with T2DM in previous Chinese studies. There was also no significant difference found from the ADIPOQ haplotype analysis, which contains rs16861194. In addition, we also assessed potential gene-gene interactions in three genes and no interactions were found. | 5 | Safety and related factors of treatment with long-term atypical antipsychotic in Chinese patients with schizophrenia:observational study显示文摘Background Atypical antipsychotics as first-line drugs have been used in patients with schizophrenia in China and abroad.However,its safety still needs to be evaluated in a large population,especially in Chinese patients.Objective The main objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and related factors of long-term atypical antipsychotic use in patients with schizophrenia in China.The secondary objective includes the long-term efficacy of atypical antipsychotics in these patients,as well as pharmacoeconomic evaluation,population pharmacokinetic studies and pharmacogenomics studies.Methods This study has an observational design.The atypical antipsychotics include quetiapine,olanzapine,risperidone,aripiprazole,ziprasidone,paliperidone,amisulpride,perospirone and clozapine.Visits occur at 0,4,8,13,26,52,78,104,130 and 156 weeks.The efficacy evaluations include symptoms,social function,recurrence rate and hospitalisation.The safety measures include physical examination,vital signs,abdominal circumference,laboratory tests(such as blood cell analysis,blood biochemical tests and serum prolactin/thyroxine levels),12-lead ECG,extrapyramidal syndrome assessment,sexual function evaluation,medication and other adverse events.The secondary measures include the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale,Clinical Global Impression-Severity of Illness Scale,Calgary Depression Scale for Schizophrenia,Personal and Social Performance Scale,relapse rate,drug consolidation,medical-related expenses,income,drug plasma concentration and genetic information.Results This is a large sample,non-interventional and long-term prospective clinical study designed to truly reflect the specific details of clinical practice,fully respect patients’needs,and understand patients’treatment intentions and actual treatment details.Conclusions This research method details the aims,methods,study design,strengths and limitations of the study. | Wenjuan Yu Jingjing Huang Sidi He Lei Zhang Yifeng Shen Huafang Li | 2021 | General Psychiatry2021，34，1： | 4 |
| 6 | Age,growth and reproduction of Sarcocheilichthys nigripinnis from the Qingyi Stream in the Huangshan Mountains显示文摘Identifying the life-history strategies of fish and their associations with the surrounding environment is the basic foundation in the conservation and sustainable utilization of fish species.We examined the age,growth,and reproduction of Sarcocheilichthys nigripinnis using 352 specimens collected monthly from May 2009 to April 2010 in the Qingyi Stream.We found the sex ratio of this study population was 0.58:1(female:male),significantly different from expected 1:1.Females and males both comprised four age groups.The annuli on the scales were formed during February and March.No obvious between-sex difference was observed in length-weight and length-scale-radius relationships.The total length in back-calculation significantly increased with age for both sexes,but did not differ significantly at each age between the two sexes.An inflection point was observed in the growth curves given by the von Bertalanffy growth function for total weight.At this inflection point,fish were 3.95 years.Both sexes reach their 50% sex maturity at age 2,when females and males were 94.7 mm and 103.0 mm total length.The temporal pattern of the gonado-somatic index corresponded to a spawning period that occurred from April through July.The non-synchronicity of egg diameter in each mature ovary during the breeding period suggested these fish may be batch spawners.The absolute fecundity increased significantly with total length and weight,whereas no significant correlation was observed between the relative fecundity and body size. | Yunzhi YAN Yinsheng XU Ling CHU Shah HE Yifeng CHEN | 2012 | Zoological Research2012，33，3： | 3 |

| 8 | Discussion on the Mechanism of Boric Acid and Phosphoric Acid to Improve the Hardening of Complex Calcium Lubricating Grease显示文摘In order to solve the hardening problem of complex calcium lubricating grease, the water absorption test of several calcium salts was carried out, and it was found that calcium 12-hydroxystearate did not absorb water, and calcium acetate, calcium phosphate and calcium borate had different degrees of water absorption. Calcium acetate has the highest water absorption rate, while calcium phosphate and calcium borate show comparable water absorption rates.
