| 1 | A journey to understand wheat Fusarium head blight resistance in the Chinese wheat landrace Wangshuibai显示文摘Fusarium head blight(FHB) or scab caused by Fusarium graminearum is a major threat to wheat production in China as well as in the world. To combat this disease, multiple efforts have been carried out internationally. In this article, we review our long-time effort in identifying the resistance genes and dissecting the resistance mechanisms by both forward and reverse genetics approaches in the last two decades. We present recent progress in resistance QTL identification, candidate functional gene discovery, marker-assisted improvement of FHB resistant varieties, and findings in investigating association of signal molecules, such as Ca^(++),SA, JA, and ET, with FHB response, with the assistance from rapidly growing genomics platforms. | 5 | A synthetic aperture radar sea surface distribution estimation by n-order Bézier curve and its application in ship detection显示文摘To dates,most ship detection approaches for single-pol synthetic aperture radar(SAR) imagery try to ensure a constant false-alarm rate(CFAR).A high performance ship detector relies on two key components:an accurate estimation to a sea surface distribution and a fine designed CFAR algorithm.First,a novel nonparametric sea surface distribution estimation method is developed based on n-order Bézier curve.To estimate the sea surface distribution using n-order Bézier curve,an explicit analytical solution is derived based on a least square optimization,and the optimal selection also is presented to two essential parameters,the order n of Bézier curve and the number m of sample points.Next,to validate the ship detection performance of the estimated sea surface distribution,the estimated sea surface distribution by n-order Bézier curve is combined with a cell averaging CFAR(CA-CFAR).To eliminate the possible interfering ship targets in background window,an improved automatic censoring method is applied.Comprehensive experiments prove that in terms of sea surface estimation performance,the proposed method is as good as a traditional nonparametric Parzen window kernel method,and in most cases,outperforms two widely used parametric methods,K and G0 models.In terms of computation speed,a major advantage of the proposed estimation method is the time consuming only depended on the number m of sample points while independent of imagery size,which makes it can achieve a significant speed improvement to the Parzen window kernel method,and in some cases,it is even faster than two parametric methods.In terms of ship detection performance,the experiments show that the ship detector which constructed by the proposed sea surface distribution model and the given CA-CFAR algorithm has wide adaptability to different SAR sensors,resolutions and sea surface homogeneities and obtains a leading performance on the test dataset. | LANG Haitao ZHANG Jie WANG Yiduo ZHANG Xi MENG Junmin | 2016 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2016,35,9: | 3 |
| 6 | Exploring the N-terminus region: Synthesis, bioactivity and 3D-QSAR of allatostatin analogs as novel insect growth regulators显示文摘Allatostatins(ASTs), a family of insect neuropeptide, can inhibit juvenile hormone(JH) biosynthesis by the corpora allata(CA) in Diploptera punctata, and therefore be regarded as potential leads for the discovery of new insect growth regulators(IGRs). But several shortcomings, such as their sensitivity to peptidases and high cost, impeded their practical application in pest management. In order to discover new IGRs, one AST analog B1 possessing non-peptide group was discovered with high ability to inhibit JH biosynthesis in vitro(IC_(50): 0.09 mmol/L) in our previous studies. In the present work, two series of B1 analogs with different substituents on the N-terminus region were designed and synthesized. The result suggested that benzene showed better activity than other heterocycles, and the para-substitution on the benzene was beneficial for activity. Moreover, analogs with log P value over 2.0 exhibited good activity,which indicated the hydrophobicity is important to the bioactivity. Three dimension quantitative structure-activity relationship(3D-QSAR) studies were performed to highlight the structural requirements of AST analogs, which demonstrated introduction of bulkier substituents on the N-terminus would increase the activity. Analog Ⅱ12(IC_(50): 0.08 mmol/L) exhibited similar inhibitory activity to the lead B1,but its synthetic route was simpler than B1. | 9 | Preparation and Ammonia Adsorption Performance of Titanium Phosphonate Adsorbent Materials with Hierarchically Porous Structure显示文摘Titanium phosphonate adsorbent materials with hierarchically porous structure were fabricated using the hydrolysis of tetrabutyl titanate in different organophosphonic acids solutions. Based on the macroporous structure of 100-2000 nm in size, a worm-hole like mesostructure was in the macropore walls, which was supported by the scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and N_2 sorption analysis. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) data indicated the organic groups inside the solid materials framework. NH_3 adsorption detection was performed using titanium phosphonate adsorbent materials and some significant results were obtained. The adsorption mechanism was also discussed in this study. Large adsorption amount(75.2 mg/g) was mainly attributed to the acid site via acid-base reactions and the physical adsorption site via Van der Waals forces. | 14 | Chinese decentralization and income inequality between urban and rural residents--An empirical study based on the dual dimensions of internal and external budget显示文摘The paper firstly explains the mechanism of decentralization on income inequality from two theoretical dimensions of internal and external budget.Based on the re-measurement of income Gini coefficient and Chinese decentralization level,this paper establishes panel data model from national and regional perspective to empirically investigate the impact of Chinese decentralization on income inequality between urban and rural residents.Firstly,the promotion of budgetary income decentralization is conductive to reduce income inequality of urban and rural residents whether it is from the national or sub regional.Second,although the promotion of budgetary expenditure decentralization exacerbates the urban-rural income inequality in the national level,it could obviously reduce the urban-rural income inequality in the midwest with relatively low level of budgetary expenditure decentralization.Thirdly,the impact of extra-budgetary decentralization on income inequality is consistent,no matter in the whole country,in eastern or in western regions.This means that the extra-budgetary income decentralization makes the income inequality between urban and rural residents worse while the extra-budgetary expenditure decentralization reduces the income inequality between urban and rural residents with different degrees.Fourthly,the transfer payment,years of schooling and urban unemployment rate are conductive to narrow the income inequality between urban and rural residents while the impacts of economic development,urbanization and opening degree are obviously different in different regions.The above conclusions can not only be used for reference to further perfecting and reshaping the fair efficiency mechanism of Chinese decentralization,but also indicates the direction of the new fiscal and tax system reform. | Chu Deyin Han Yiduo Zhang Jinghua | 2017 | China Finance and Economic Review2017,6,3: | 0 |
| 15 | 2D Nb_(2)CT_(x) MXene/MoS_(2) heterostructure construction for nonlinear optical absorption modulation显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)nonlinear optical mediums with high and tunable light modulation capability can significantly stimulate the development of ultrathin,compact,and integrated optoelectronics devices and photonic elements.2D carbides and nitrides of transition metals(MXenes)are a new class of 2D materials with excellent intrinsic and strong light-matter interaction characteristics.However,the current understanding of their photo-physical properties and strategies for improving optical performance is insufficient.To address this issue,we rationally designed and in situ synthesized a 2D Nb_(2)C/MoS_(2) heterostructure that outperforms pristine Nb2C in both linear and nonlinear optical performance.Excellent agreement between experimental and theoretical results demonstrated that the Nb_(2)C/MoS_(2) inherited the preponderance of Nb_(2)C and MoS_(2) in absorption at different wavelengths,resulting in the broadband enhanced optical absorption characteristics.In addition to linear optical modulation,we also achieved stronger near infrared nonlinear optical modulation,with a nonlinear absorption coefficient of Nb_(2)C/MoS_(2) being more than two times that of the pristine Nb_(2)C.These results were supported by the band alinement model which was determined by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)experiment and first-principal theory calculation.The presented facile synthesis approach and robust light modulation strategy pave the way for broadband optoelectronic devices and optical modulators. | Yiduo Wang Yingwei Wang Yulan Dong Li Zhou Jianlong Kang Ning Wang Yejun Li Xiaoming Yuan Zhengwei Zhang Han Huang Mengqiu Long Si Xiao Jun He | 2023 | Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,10: | 0 |
